As the first person outside of Michelin to incubate with the Michelin Innovation Lab, Matthew received a grant to build out the solution. The guest today is Matthew Leffler, aka The Armchair Attorney! Matthew Leffler is a 2nd transportation executive and the Armchair Attorney. A lawyer by training, Matthew operated and sold a maintenance and repair company before jumping back into technology and law. In this episode we are going to go over Non-competes and Non-solicitation as it relates to the logistics industry, and much more. Not all problems are legal. Not all solutions are lawyers. The Armchair Attorney is the advisor you did not know you needed for the problem you did not know you had.
Matthew Leffler, the armchair attorney, keeps us all out of trouble. The enjoyable interview below is about the post-employment restrictive covenants. Leffler also speaks about some issues drivers face, such as being unable to use restrooms, unsafe parking, and high turnover. Not many people are willing to be away from home for 250 days a year unless they're making a nice living. Digital media makes calling out bad actors or shippers easier, making drivers' lives harder. We hope you enjoy this episode! 3PL Systems Team
