WHITE TRASH CONGRESSMAN TO HAITIANS: GET OUT BY JAN. 20 - 9.26

SERIES 3 EPISODE 36: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:44) SPECIAL COMMENT: White Trash Congressman Clay Higgins (R-Louisiana) has now targeted stochastic terrorism against the legal Haitian migrants in Ohio and elsewhere: "Lol. These Haitians are wild. Eating pets, vudu, nastiest country in the western hemisphere, cults, slapstick gangsters, but damned if they don't feel all sophisticated now, filing charges against our President and VP. All these thugs better get their mind right and their ass out of our country before January 20th." His enabler, Speaker Mike Johnson, has blocked efforts to censure Higgins - the idiot who believes "Ghost Buses" transported somebody to January 6th - and insisted that Higgins prayed over his tweet and then deleted it. This raises the question obvious to everybody but the world's smallest politician: Why didn't Higgins pray BEFORE he virtually dropped the N-word on a bunch of legal residents in Ohio? If at any point between now and the election you stop being angry that Donald Trump and his fellow peddler of cultural heroin JD Vance have let creatures like Clay Higgins crawl out of the woodwork, suck it up. The election of November 5th is as existential for this nation as was the Civil War – and many of the issues are identical. And the results must be. TRUMP ALSO AGAIN ADMITS HE LOST "BY A WHISKER" IN 2020. He apparently forgot he previously used the same analogy, then denied it and said he was being sarcastic, and has now said it again. He also says Iran is trying to kill him because he's trying to restore the furniture industry in North Carolina and "they only kill consequential presidents." This psychopath is PRE-BRAGGING ON HIS OWN POSSIBLE ASSASSINATION. There's extraordinary news out of polling for the Senate race in Nebraska and it IS Jack Smith day and there was a blooper on Fox yesterday so grotesque as to be hilarious. B-Block (20:11) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: A brief Nuzzi update featuring my ex-girlfriend's ex-fiancee's because of my ex-friend's sexts' ex-wife. The medalists? Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski threatens Harris voters in Ohio. Jamie Dimon spits on all immigrants, like the grave of his immigrant grandfather. And Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema are too stupid to understand that the Republicans will ban abortion whether the Democrats get rid of the filibuster or not. C-Block (28:40) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: 20 years ago Nicolle Wallace was one of the Bush White House thugs trying to kill MSNBC, the Democrats, me - and especially the man who caught Bush lying about Saddam and uranium, Ambassador Joe Wilson. The Bushes were convinced I was on their side in the story, so they kept emailing me talking points, But because Nicolle and the others were too lazy to look up the correct spelling of my name, I never got the emails directly - only forwarded from the people within NBC whom the Bushies knew would carry their water for them.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Emerging pattern…small Harris lead that is even [X] SB – Trump says Nov 5 is Liberation Day   [X] SB – Man explains Trump's cease and desist order   Anticipated what Democrats are doing.     The two most prominent Bushies who have taken their ball and gone home in a fit of pique are Dick Cheney and his backstabbing daughter Liz.  Dick and Liz have thrown their support behind Kamala Harris, which isn't a surprise to anybody. Like all of the Never Trump lunatics, they're trying justify their turncoat ways by saying that they are voting for a commie to save the country and the Republican Party. There's no way to spin that illogical garbage to make any sense, of course. Kamala Harris is a threat to the Constitution and a host of freedoms that we currently enjoy. As C.A. Skeet wrote yesterday, Dick Cheney's endorsement of Harris is "worthless," but there's a larger point: But his endorsement also speaks to something darker. It speaks to betrayal. If you don't like Trump or his personality, I understand why you wouldn't enthusiastically endorse him. But we rank-and-file conservatives nevertheless expect you to hold your nose and vote for him. Why? Because that's what we've done for you for over two decades now. The Bush-Cheney ticket was nobody's idea of principled conservatism. Your coinage of "compassionate conservatism" rang a lot of instinctive alarm bells, but we held our noses and voted for you anyway. And then we held our noses and voted for McCain. And then we held our noses and voted for Romney. We didn't call for the packing of the Supreme Court after the disastrous Roberts-led decision upholding Obamacare in 2012. We didn't endorse Obama after Bush bailed out Wall Street in 2008. Bingo.  Conservatives — especially those of us who are grassroots activists — have been putting up with less-than-ideal circumstances and candidates for a very long time now. I have never once thought that the best way to express my discontent was to vote for a Democrat for president.  The Democrats of 2024 are not the Democrats of 20 years ago. The party has been lurching hard to the far left for a long time now. There is no common ground to be found with them anymore. Dick and Liz Cheney have adopted the language of the leftists because they are now leftists themselves.  Nikki Haley had some choice words after Liz Cheney said she couldn't understand the former governor's support of Trump. This is from my RedState colleague Jeff Charles: Haley continued, arguing, “This is about my family. This is about America.” “If you don't like him, say you don't like him, but you can't say that his policies are worse than Kamala Harris'. That's just not a fact,” Haley concluded. Sane, truly principled conservatives understand the threat that Kamala Harris poses to the country. As I have written on many occasions, this is not the time to let feelings get in the way. Actually, that's never a good idea, especially in a presidential election. We're trying to choose the leader of the free world, not find a life partner.  The Cheneys and all of the other Bush remnants don't have any principles; they're simply having a years-long temper tantrum because they know that their once-special place in Grand Old Party no longer exists. If the party ever does return to something that is acceptable to the mentally unwell Never Trump crowd, the country probably won't see another Republican president. Again, Donald Trump is the candidate that the Republican Party needs in this election. The party and the country don't need any of the Capitol Hill Club Republicans who find it easier to roll over for the Democrats than to fight tooth and nail for the continued existence of the Republic.  Dick Cheney, J6 Lizzie, and all of the other Never Trump Republicans should plan on hanging out with their commie Dem friends forever now. In the long run, the GOP will be much stronger because they're gone.   Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-kevin-jackson-show--2896352/support.

TRUMP COULD FACE A MONTH IN JAIL FOR CONTEMPT - 4.24.24

Countdown with Keith Olbermann

SERIES 2 EPISODE 163: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANNA-Block (1:44) SPECIAL COMMENT: Trump faces a month in jail for contempt of court - or at minimum, he will be THREATENED with a month in jail for contempt of court. Trump's lawyers, led by Todd (of Todd, Emil, Susan and Alina) beclowned themselves before Justice Juan Merchan during the Trump Gag Order Violation Hearing yesterday and the judge said he was "reserving his decision" which is almost always news so bad for the one side that has so infuriated the judge that he doesn't want to be in the room with them when he rules against them. The prosecution demanded $10,000 in fines and the threat of a month in jail and as Merchan told the lawyers they were losing their credibility, another story broke. Whatever happens there have already been quiet conversations with the Secret Service over what you do when you finally do  put a former president in jail for an hour or a lifetime. As to the trial and the only witness thus far David Pecker – as to what came out of the Pecker at the Trump Trial – nothing new, if you've been paying attention. He and Trump and Michael Cohen set up a machine by which they bought stories about Trump – true ones, false ones, something-in-between ones – like the child out of wedlock one and the Stormy Daniels one and the Karen McDougal one – and the critical testimony was about the love child story. The doorman selling it got $30,000 to start, then they checked the story, found it wasn't true, Pecker of the National Enquirer was about to release the doorman from his Non-Disclosure Agreement when Michael Cohen said don't do that until AFTER the 2016 election because it could damage the Trump campaign.  That's the conviction right there. They paid these people – Stormy Daniels included – not to protect Trump the person, not to save him from lies, not to save him from the truth - but to influence the outcome of 2016 election. And it would be sad in another context, but  the lede yesterday? That he wanted his mobs to at minimum SURROUND every courthouse in the country? Especially New York State Supreme Court, 100 Centre Street? I got a few scoffs at that. Turns out he REALLY expected. He REALLY believed it. And it didn't happen. It REALLY didn't happen: CNN's Jim Sciutto with the sad truth. He wrote “Other than the first day of jury selection when I saw a pickup waving Trump flags and heard a handful of Trump supporters, their presence has dwindled. I don't see any outside the courthouse today. If Trump was expecting a large and lasting public show of support here, it hasn't materialized.” Well of COURSE that's what he was expecting. IN FACT he was expecting another January 6th. And I emphasize again that the ultimate importance of this trial may simply be exposing him to weeks of radiation-leak-levels of reality. Because after it DIDN'T happen he had to tell his people – and most importantly his EGO – that it DID: “Thousands of people were turned away from the courthouse in Lower Manhattan by steel stanchions and police, literally blocks from the tiny side door from where I enter and leave,” unquote. Utterly untrue. Nobody showed up. Not thousands, not hundreds, not dozens, not even family and friends. Like he has FRIENDS. That was his friend testifying against him. His friend – a Pecker. PLUS: Tucker Carlson is dunked on by Mitch McConnell, Trump is dunked on by Mitt Romney, and the Republicans are dunked on by...Axios? Which reports they've... castrated themselves? Video or it didn't happen! B-Block (26:44) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: This surfeit of media-government interaction reminded me of the first time I ever encountered it, back when the Bushies were so naive they thought I was doing their bidding during the controversy over the made-up story of Saddam Hussein getting nukes from Niger. I was to interview Ambassador Joe Wilson - who debunked the W bull - and yet they thought I was going to slice him up, so they sent me all their talking points, and revealed the identities of all their "friends" at NBC. C-Block (41:00) GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCKSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

No new information on the Midtown helicopter crash as the NTSB continues their investigation, but the incident has stoked local officials to criticize the conditions that led to the crash: Carolyn Maloney, the Congressmember who represents the district where the helicopter came down renewed her calls for private transit and tourism helicopter flights to be banned over the city. After a deadly helicopter crash atop the Pan Am building helipad in 1977, flights to helipads in Manhattan were banned, but no new restrictions have been put in place despite multiple deadly crashes around Manhattan by helicopters and small planes. In a statement on Representative Maloney's web site, she says: "We cannot rely on good fortune to protect people on the ground. It is past time for the FAA to ban unnecessary helicopters from the skies over our densely packed urban city. The risks to New Yorkers are just too high." Senator Chuck Schumer also called on the FAA to require helicopters be equipped with flight data recorders, and cited years of recommendations from the NTSB that the FAA should mandate flight data and cockpit voice recorders. Schumer noted how the lack of flight data will now impede the investigation. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand added: "After last week's helicopter crash in midtown, the FAA should immediately reconsider the recommendations federal transportation safety investigators have urged since 2011 and take steps now to implement these basic safety features. Flight data recorders provide critical information to help prevent future crashes, and I urge the FAA to act quickly to ensure black boxes are in every helicopter." A memorial service was held for the helicopter pilot, Tim McCormack, in Poughkeepsie, NY. This week finally brought the sad confirmation that a swimmer has been found dead after going missing during a race in the Hudson River. Renowned AIDS researcher, Charles van der Horst, had been competing in the Eight Bridges Hudson River Swim, a 120-mile, week-long competition that was scheduled from June 8th to June 15th, with swimmers covering about 17 miles per day between Hudson River bridges. On Friday, June 14th, Charles had disappeared beneath the water near the George Washington Bridge and did not resurface. His disappearance occured at the end of that day's swim, which had begun 15.7 miles away at the Tappan Zee Bridge. The Coast Guard and NYPD boats began searching immediately, but it wasn't until four days later that his body was discovered near Fort Tyron, north of the GWB. In a statement from the van der Horst family, Charles is described as living life to the fullest and will be remembered for his work in social justice and in the medical field. He immigrated to the United States as an infant from the Netherlands, and was the son of a Holocaust survivor. As a professor of medicine, he provided care to HIV/AIDS patients, contributed meaningful research concerning the diseases, and volunteered at a free clinic after his retirement. When Charles disappeared, he was under the watch of safety crew in kayaks following each swimmer, and another participant describes the extreme care taken to ensure the safety of each swimmer, so it was unclear how this tragedy took place. Last week I told you about the very first roller coaster that was modeled after a mine cart, but 92 years ago on June 26, 1927, The Coney Island Cyclone wooden roller coaster opens to the public A baby doll wearing a "Crawling Dead" t-shirt was realistic enough to be officially pronounced dead by first responders after an early-morning 911 call on June 18th. A jogger spotted the horrifying scene of a baby lying face-down in the grass at 215th Street and 35th Avenue in Bayside, Queens and police quickly arrived to seal off a crime scene. It wasn't until hours later that officials announced it was actually realistic doll that they had earlier pronounced dead without physically inspecting it. In a statement, the FDNY described the doll as having "discoloration consistent with signs of prolonged death" as it was painted gray and blue to simulate loss of oxygen. Once the doll was physically inspected, the ruse became known, and the doll was found wearing a shirt that said "Crawling Dead", presumably a play on the classic horror film "The Walking Dead". The police have opened an investigation into who placed the doll and if it was intended as a prank. You may be able to get legal bike boost soon now that lawmakers have voted to legalize electric bikes and scooters statewide. Liberty Conspiracy - 12-23-13 Re-Worked! - Dissecting CNN's Profound Bias on NSA Spying, Live, Plus, When A DC Panel Admits NSA Spying Didn't Stop Any Terrorists, They Call for MORE POWER

(Note: There was a glitch in the original version of this audio, published on 12-23, so we've re-cut it to fix it!) Yeah, that's right! The last part of our title indicates something we've already mentioned many times, but it seems to take Washington a long time to see the truth. So what happened when a DC panel recently had to admit that the NSA meta-data program has not stopped any terrorist attacks? You got it. They demanded MORE power! We cover that, and the stunning bias of CNN news in covering Larry Klayman's victory (in district court) against the NSA spying program. Gardner Goldsmith dissects this amazingly unfair and hypocritical network coverage, which isn't even coverage, but propaganda to slam Mr. Klayman. Klayman, the man who founded Judicial Watch, is likely a paleo-conservative with libertarian leanings. He has brought suit against the Clinton Admin (for many things, including their closed-door sessions on health insurance regulation, which forced the Clintons to pay, but got little attention in the pop media), against the Bushies for deceiving people about Iraq prior to the non-War, and other worthy issues. While his positions on things like immigration and other issues (you'll hear a few of them in the segment) might not fit with most members of the Liberty Conspiracy, we think his suit against the NSA is worth discussing, and the way CNN treated him in order to turn attention away from the actual ISSUE is reprehensible. Check it out and spread the word about this amazing bias. Hope you like! All that and music from Paul Weller "Around the Lake", The Sex Pistols "New York", Paul Weller "When You're Garden's Overgrown", Schtum "Skydiver", The Hookers "Get Fucked!", Miles Kane "Inhaler", and the Bonniwell Music Machine "Mother Nature, Father Earth" (which Miles Kane has made sure folks know inspired him for "Inhaler").
