Tributes have been paid to the legendary Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani. We speak to Lady Helen Taylor, a cousin of Queen Elizabeth, who in the 1980s and 90s became something of a muse to the designer and a brand ambassador, wearing his clothes when she was on royal duties. Also today: Some fiery exchanges in the US Congress as health secretary RFK Junior defends his ideas about vaccines; and the elderly women diving into murky lakes looking for trash.(Photo: Armani reimagined and modernised women's and men's suits. RFK Jr. issues sharpest ultimatum yet to medical schools: “Start teaching nutrition now or face penalties!” Fast-food outlets continue to abound in teaching hospitals; Once serious causes of flank pain are ruled out, patients are often left to fend for themselves; Potatoes don't increase risk of diabetes—unless you eat French fries; Deep-frying in seed oils can yield harmful byproducts—but so, too, when you substitute with lard; As doctors get more aggressive treating blood pressure, how to minimize medication side effects; New study shows beetroot juice can lower BP by 7 points.
For weight loss, complete avoidance of ultra-processed foods outperforms mere “healthy diet” comprising minimally-processed items; Research fraud undermines anti-dementia drug pipeline; Comprehensive lifestyle modification program scores against cognitive decline; Women's brains especially vulnerable to Omega-3 deficiencies; Bible says “Lame shall walk again” and 21st century science may soon bring about this miracle; Breakthroughs in rheumatoid arthritis treatment.
It's a Paul Revere moment, “RFK Junior is coming!” Ben is joined by author and journalist Emily Bass and UCSF Professor Eric Goosby, co-host of the Global Health Diplomats podcast to diagnose and propose solutions to the Trump Administration's assault on US public health. From the hollowing out of the CDC, to vaccine skepticism at the heart of the federal leadership, and savage, unconstitutional cuts to public health home and abroad, they delve into the broader ramifications of these attacks on scientific integrity, US democracy and security. They round upon what could be profoundly damaging political consequences, particularly for Republicans, if the health of their voters' children and elderly relatives is put directly at risk by this willful dismantling of US public health services. And in conclusion, Ben, Eric and Emily explore how to support the emerging regional health coalitions of states, cities and professional bodies to fill the gap. 00:00 Introduction and Guest Welcome 00:50 Recent Developments in Global Health 02:08 Legal Challenges and Public Health Implications 03:18 Impact on Democracy and Public Health 12:04 Interview with Eric Goosby 14:27 Concerns About CDC and Public Health Surveillance 19:36 Future of Public Health and Science 34:46 Potential Solutions and Local Efforts 39:09 Coalitions and Surveillance Systems 44:23 Challenges in Public Health Funding 48:24 The Role of Philanthropy in Public Health 50:37 Political Ramifications and Public Health 56:22 Vaccine Misinformation and Public Trust 58:27 Accountability in Public Health Leadership 01:04:33 COVID Variants and Vaccination Strategies 01:10:27 Final Thoughts and Reflections Emily's Substack: https://substack.com/@emilysbass Ben's Substack: https://substack.com/@benplumley1 Join the Conversation! I'm a rent me a castle in Scotland. I just heard that story about the, King Charles dog treats, that are made in Balmoral. Very nice. And it's so they're talking about renting a castle in Scotland. I found one. This is from Arbroath, Scotland. You can rent this for $1,080 a night. Might be worth it. It sleeps 16, by the way. So there you go. Might do that. Well, here in South Carolina, our governor, Henry McMaster, has decided to go along with RFK Junior and president Trump and actually introduce new restrictions on SNAP benefits. Yeah. And I think this is a good idea. I really do. Governor McMaster announced today that South Carolina will soon impose new restrictions on how low income residents can use their supplemental nutrition assistant program benefits. Now here, what is the keyword that we're looking at there in the snap nutritional. Nutritional. Now, folks, I love my butter fingers. I love my Reese's peanut butter cups, but I know that they are not nutrition. They are just there is nothing nutritious about it. No doctors ever said, you know, Charlie, I think you you need to eat more Butterfingers. I'd you need two you need two more full sugar Pepsis and, and and more Butterfingers, and that'll get you that'll get you rider's ring. It's not nutrition. It is a treat. It's a luxury. In a post on eggs, McMaster said he plans to issue the executive order directing the Department of Social Services to impose common sense limits on snap purchases. He said America is getting healthy, and South Carolina will do her part. In the next few days, I will issue an executive order directing the Department of Social Services to place common sense limits on purchases using SNAP benefits formerly known as food stamps. Now right now, about 580,000 South Carolinians get, SNAP benefits according to the Department of Agriculture. The executive order comes several months after a bill aiming to limit SNAP purchases. Here we go. Gotta go right back to the state legislature on this one and go, hey, guys. You're the problem. You're literally the problem here in South Carolina. These Republicans in Columbia, there was a bill aimed at limiting SNAP purchases, and that failed to advance in the South Carolina house. Of course, because the South Carolina house is where common sense goes to die. The legislation titled the South Carolina SNAP Nutrition Integrity Act would have barred recipients from purchasing things like candy and soft drinks. The bill defined candy and goes on to define we all know what candy is. We don't have to be told. Boss, that effort stalled in the legislature. This is from watch Fox fifty seven. While that effort stalled in the legislature, McMaster's executive action may implement similar restrictions through administrative channels. So I think it's a good idea, but not but you would think because that's all we hear, and people are people are screaming about this. Oh, he's limited our benefit. There's one guy. Let me find it see if I can find this quote here. I thought it was, pretty interesting. Yeah. One guy, this guy named Tim, he was out grocery shopping with his son. He was interviewed. He said, they're trying to dictate what you do with your benefits. When you tell people what they can and can't get, it takes away your freedom. Mister Wise, you've got the freedom to get off SNAP benefits altogether, if that's what you want. Is that your idea of freedom? Being able to go buy Twizzlers and and and and Skittles? Something that's actually gonna contribute to things like, I don't know, type two diabetes, poor health, cardiovascular disease, all of this stuff. Wood free well, there you go. Public health consultant doctor Bamby Gaddis highlighted additional components of the proposed changes, including the expanded work requirements. There are expanded work requirements that are potentially going to go into effect, which may be disconcerting disconcerting and problematic for some people, especially people who ar ...

The White House has declared war on Latin American drug cartels. Although this seems like great news, has anyone stopped to ask if the goal is to shut down competition? Recent executive orders from May stripped regulations for domestic pharmaceutical production in the United States and attempted to create a direct-to-consumer purchasing program to subvert insurance companies. This is in a country that consumes more pharmaceutical drugs than any other on planet Earth. Likewise, the opioid crisis was created by the same industry. There are more bad actors than just the stereotypical south of the border drug cartels as we also learned with Iran-Contra. HHS secretary RFK Junior is furthermore being praised for cutting 22 mRNA programs and saving $500 million, yet few are catching the crucial details about his openly stated agenda to create a universal Covid and flu vaccine instead, or the coincidental nature of that amount of money being exactly the amount needed for the Stargate gene therapy program. Meanwhile, as we have seen recently with more genetically modified mosquitoes being dropped in Hawaii, the Chikungunya virus is supposedly spreading in China; and US media, while saying there is no threat, has blamed it on mosquitoes the same week that an active shooter roamed the streets near the CDC headquarters. The shooter took his vaccine and blamed it for why he got sick, creating a PR campaign backed by the pharmaceutical companies to call him an anti-vaxxer who had mental health issues. Something strange is brewing. *The is the FREE archive, which includes advertisements. Zen Honeycutt, founder and executive director of Moms Across America and author of “Unstoppable: Transforming Sickness and Struggle into Triumph, Empowerment and a Celebration of Community,” details the origins and mission of the nonprofit organization aimed at transforming the food supply and improving health by reducing chemicals in food, water, and air. Highlighting the impact of grassroots activism, Honeycutt illustrates how the organization's initiatives have driven significant awareness and policy changes, including advances in organic food consumption and labeling. She also touches on the challenges posed by government and corporate influences, advocating for policies that put children's health and safety first. Honeycutt emphasizes the importance of individual actions and community involvement in creating a healthier future.
In this episode, I talk about my concerns about having RFK Junior, the secretary of health and human services.
Dr. Hoffman continues his conversation with Jonathan Rubin, CEO of the Seed Oil Free Alliance.

The discussion focuses on the potential health hazards posed by seed oils, which have become ubiquitous in the American diet. They explore how these oils may be linked to chronic disease and obesity and compare this with the mainstream view that considers them harmless. Jonathan shares insights from his personal health journey and explains the mission and methodology of the Seed Oil Free Alliance, which aims to provide consumers with reliable information and certification for seed oil-free products. The episode also covers the historical context of seed oil consumption, the science behind omega-6 fatty acids, and practical alternatives for a healthier diet.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of The United States Of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Oh, beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of rain, for purple mountain majesties above the fruit America is back. Yes, sir. And there is a huge push right now to make America healthy again, the whole Maha movement with, RFK Junior. Well, there was a Maha report last week, and state representative Stephen Frank was there. Let's talk to him right now. Representative Frank, welcome to the program. Hope you're doing well. Hey, Charlie. I'm doing well. Hope you are. Thanks for having me on today. Yes, sir. So what did we find out in the Maha report that was released last week? First of all, what was it like there meeting RFK Jr and and being in on all the action? Oh, Charlie, it it was it was one heck of an experience. You can't you can't hardly put it into words. I was honored to be invited, to the White House for for that report. And, couple hundred people there in in the East Room, gathering to see, you know, really what this monumental report was gonna contain. Mhmm. When the president, began his administration, he he assembled this commission. You know, the Maha agenda was a huge part of the campaign since RFK had joined, you know, suspended his campaign for president. And and so right out of the gate, you know, Trump had the, the the, you know, directive to to start this commission and and begin with just looking at facts, doing research, and figuring out, how do we qualify and quantify the problem we're facing. So Right. That was step one, and and that was a hundred day time frame that they had. And so last last Thursday marked that hundred days, so the commission gathered, with Trump to deliver that report. And, just remarkable remarkable experience to be there and be with all the the folks in the room. But, you know, that report, it it it wasn't anything necessarily new or earth shattering, but it codified and and and articulated what so many people have already known, you know, that that we have a health crisis. Right. We have all these these things in our food, our environment, but the government has never been willing to say, yes. This is bad for you, and, yes, this is causing illness, and, yes, this is, adding to the the burden of society. So to hear an administration actually admit, that that we have these problems was was just momentous. Yeah. It was momentous. And and this is something that a lot anybody that you know, a lot of homesteading families out there, a lot of families that are concerned with with health, when they were preaching about this, every everybody was calling them kooks, but it turns out they weren't. When they when they were complaining about the amount of dyes that are in our food and the problems that they are causing, I mean, these people were absolutely right, weren't they? They they were they were a % vindicated. You know, for decades, every wealthy home in America has had a filter to get fluoride out of the water. Yeah. Right? But we've had so much propaganda to say, oh, we need fluoride in our water for our health. And so many studies have been bought and paid for, but and it's been so unfair to marginalize a portion of study. They just can't afford those filters. Now all of a sudden here, the federal government admitting that the the really, they were wrong the whole time. Yeah. And that what average Americans knew every day to be true, they were proven true and and and and vindicated, and that's just one aspect that those repeated over and over and over again through this report. And we find out I mean, there's a lot of countries in Europe, a lot of countries around the world world that just do not allow these additives in our food. But for some reason, and we all know why, because there are lobbyists in Washington, we allow them here in The United States. Is that gonna be taken care of? You kno ...

RFK Junior shines in a congressional hearing about HHS funding and exposes lawmakers for being ill-prepared and politically biased. Democrats push the propaganda talking points of the Deep State in a demonstrably desperate attempt to stop Trump's winning. A dentist congressman quizzes Kennedy on fluoride and gets clobbered by science AND common sense.
Aseem Malhotra is a deeply controversial British doctor who has just been appointed as Chief Medical Adviser of the Make America Healthy Again campaign group co-founded by Donald Trump's health secretary Robert F Kennedy Junior. It makes him one of the US Health Secretary's most influential medical advisers - and that's alarming doctors and academics around the world, because Aseem Malhotra, like RFK JR, goes against mainstream, established opinion on many topics. Most controversially he opposes the MRNA covid vaccines, claiming they cause more harm than good, and wants to end their use in America, even though people are still dying with Covid around the world. In the UK hundreds of people are dying with covid every month yet Dr Malhotra claims the virus is no longer deadly. He also supports RFK Junior's decision to reinvestigate discredited claims of a link between vaccines and autism, amid alarming levels of vaccine scepticism in America, and outbreaks of deadly measles. For the latest episode of The Fourcast Krishnan Guru-Murthy talks to Dr Malhotra, but we also examine his claims and scrutinise them by hearing from Stephen Griffin, Professor of Virology at Leeds University - who is a leading scientist in Britain and believes claims being made by Dr Malhotra and RFK Junior are not just wrong but dangerous. Produced by Calum Fraser, Alice Wagstaffe, Georgina Lee, Rob Thomson.
With his MAHA team behind him, President Trump signs the executive order that reverses years of pharmaceutical cost abuse shouldered by the American taxpayer. Drs. Makary, Oz, Battacharya and RFK Junior rebuke politicians paid for by pharma and celebrate a truly historic moment in US healthcare. The left cries racism as Trump welcomes dozens of South Africans escaping genocide as triggered liberals show the ugly side of their true colors.
And welcome back to the program. Well, president Trump signed an executive order today to lower pharmaceutical prices here in The United States. And, boy, that is welcome news because there's a lot about this that we don't know. Now we pay dramatically more here in this country than they do in other countries for the same pharmaceuticals. In fact, president Trump had an little bit of an anecdote about that today. I mean, I'll tell you a story. A friend of mine who's a a businessman, very, very, very top guy. Most of you would have heard of him. A highly neurotic, brilliant businessman, seriously overweight, and he takes the fat the fat shot drug. And he called me up, and he said, president. He calls me he used to call me Donald. Now he calls me president, so that's nice respect. But he's a rough guy, smart guy. Very successful, very rich. I wouldn't even know how we would know this, but because he's got comments. Said, president, could I ask you a question? What? I'm in London, and I just paid for this damn fat drug I take. I said, it's not working, they said. He said, I just paid $88, and in New York, I paid $1,300. What the hell is going on? Exactly. I love that. It's not working. That that's great. But we do we pay a lot more here than other countries do. Because you see and the big thing that they always talk about, oh, y'all, you know, we got research research and development, and we've got yada yada, and we've gotta pay for this and that, and we've gotta do well, why doesn't anybody else have to pay for it? Why isn't a a drug the same price in London as it is in The United States? Why isn't a a pharmaceutical the same price in Canada as it is here in The United States? Listen to what RFK Junior said. This is this is pretty darned amazing. It really is. Mister secretary, Trump says some prices will come down almost immediately. What is the timetable for these price cuts? Well, there's a series of escalating steps, but you know what? That that will bring them down to European levels. Right now, we spend we provide America provides 75% of the pharmaceutical revenues in the world, and we only have 4.2% of the world's population. Sure. We're paying in, in our country, the list price for Ozempic is $1,300 per dose. In London, it's $88. Okay. Because we got rid of the PBMs. We got rid of the middlemen, and that's something that they've wanted themselves. Now here's the big question. Why aren't the Democrats celebrating this? I mean, after all, hey, then we just go back to Bernie Sanders. Back in 2016, Bernie Sanders ran on big pharma. Let's take a listen to what he said. Here we go. We pay in this country the highest prices in the world for prescription drugs. Maybe, just maybe, it might be time for the United States Senate to stand up to the pharmaceutical industry and all of their lobbyists here and all of their campaign contributions and say we're gonna stand with the American people who are sick and tired of being ripped off by the drug companies. There there are many reasons why we pay such outrageous prices, but one reason is we continue passing laws written by the pharmaceutical industry and their lobbyists year after year after year. He calls me he used to call me Donald, now he calls me president. So that's nice respect, but he's a rough guy, smart guy, Very successful, very rich. I wouldn't even know how we would know this, but because he's got comments. So president, could I ask you a question? What? I'm in London, and I just paid for this damn fat drug I take. I said, it's not working, they said. He said, I just paid $88. And in New York, I paid $1,300. What the hell is going on? Exactly. I love that. It's not working. That that's great. But we do we pay a lot more here than other countries do. Because you see and the big thing that they always talk about, oh, you know, we got research and development, and we've got yada yada, and we've gotta pay for this and that, and we've gotta do well, why doesn't anybody else have to pay for it? Why isn't a a drug the same price in London as it is in The United States? Why isn't a a pharmaceutical the same price in Canada as it is here in The United States? Listen to what RFK Junior said. This is this is pretty darned amazing. It really is. Mister secretary, Trump says some prices will come down almost immediately. What is the timetable for these price cuts? Well, there's a series of escalating steps, but you know what? The that that will bring them down to European levels. Right now, we spend we provide America provides 75% of the pharmaceutical revenues in the world, and we only have 4.2% of the world's population. Sure. We're paying in, in our country, the list price for Ozempic is $1,300 per dose. In London, it's $88. SEASON 3 EPISODE 91: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:44) SPECIAL COMMENT: Karoline Leavitt was already so stupid that she once on-air insisted there was a word pronounced "damaning" (as in 'the evidence is damaning') and pronounced the Nazi monster's name as "Hilter." Now with one tweet she may have topped herself. How do you publicly announce that the spending freeze struck down by a federal judge wasn't withdrawn, only its ANNOUNCEMENT was withdrawn, and only in response to the judge's ruling, and the freeze is going on as planned? That's called contempt of court. Trump's lawyers will literally have to talk their way out of spending a day behind bars. Besides which, another judge has said the conflicting statements about the freeze pause are irrelevant: it cannot proceed. This all underscores what has been evident since Trump again seized power. He is burning through the relative approval and patience of an exhausted America far more quickly this time than last, and there is a reckoning coming. His disapproval number jumped SEVEN points from last Tuesday to this past Sunday. The judges are fighting back. His hirelings are idiots. The public doesn't want this. Hopefully what follows is not unprecedented. B-Block (28:50) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: The Washington Post continues to trivialize and normalize the Madness of King Trump. Lauren Boebert is an actual expert on laboring with your hands, so I guess her opinion on how the minimum wage is too HIGH matters. And it's Anna Paulina Luna who finally gives in and proposes a bill to put Trump's head on Mt. Rushmore. Unfortunately she's phrased it in such a way that it could mean LITERALLY: put Trump's head ON Mt. Rushmore. C-Block (36:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: Nothing like the stream of consciousness that comes as you awake from the stream of UNconsciousness. On the way back from the endoscopy I saw the building in which I met Jim Thorpe's Olympic roommate from 1912, and I rediscovered the game "Midpoint" and I remembered the Twitter game from two years ago: "Hitler Handshakes."See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Leave Wellness + Wisdom a Review on Apple Podcasts Power Quotes From The Show You Decide What Truth Is "Everything that you need to do to take back your life is the exact same to actually be one of the strongest humans on the planet. Your goal is to change how you feel about life, not what is truth, because truth is not real. It's all what you decide is truth. You get to decide what is good or bad with integrity in your soul, and you get to decide what success is." - Dane Johnson Choose Your Reality "I chose a reality that I'm already healed, that my body is already healing and I'm on my way up. Instead of living in the reality that I'm not there yet and this can't work and I'm exhausted, I'm gonna burn out and quit. Every vibration, every word out of your mouth, every conversation is now more beautiful, more helpful for everyone else, including yourself. Because I believe what is good for others is also good for yourself." - Dane Johnson Be of Value to Others "One of the hardest things spiritually is that you are no longer of value to anybody. Everyone has to do everything for you when you're sick. And so I took back my power to be of value to others. And that is so spiritually nourishing. What gives us all the most value in our life is how we are of service to others." - Dane Johnson Links From Today's Show Dane Johnson Garrain Jones | Harmonized Human: How To STOP Suffering + Create The New 2.0 Version of YOU FREE JOURNAL Dry Farm Wines: Get an extra bottle of Pure Natural Wine with your first membership order for just 1¢ 345 Zach Bush MD: Humanity, Consciousness & COVID19 Unlimited Power by Tony Robbins Josh's Trusted Products | Up To 40% Off Shop All Products Biohacking MANNA Vitality - Save 20% with code JOSH20 HigherDOSE - 15% off with the code JOSH15 PLUNGE - $150 off with discount code WELLNESSFORCE Pulsetto - Save 20% with code "JOSH" SaunaSpace - 10% off with discount code JOSH10 Ultrahuman Ring Air - 10% off with code JOSH Wellness Test Kits Choose Joi - Save 50% on all Lab Tests with JOSH Blokes - Save 50% on all Lab Tests with JOSH FertilityWize Test by Clockwize - Save 10% with code JOSH Tiny Health Gut Tests - $20 off with discount code JOSH20 VIVOO Health Tests - Save 30% off with code JOSH SiPhox Health Blood Test - Save 15% off with code JOSH Nutrition + Gut Health Organifi - 20% off with discount code WELLNESSFORCE SEED Synbiotic - 25% off with the code 25JOSHTRENT
SEASON 3 EPISODE 81: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:45) SPECIAL COMMENT: To paraphrase Van Jones and other panderers: This was the weekend Elon Musk truly became president. It was also the weekend the other guy became Donald J. Trumpuppet. The number of Republicans who defied Trump over the Continuing Resolution ranges, depending on your point of view, from 29 to ALL of them. Because they also voted by unanimous consent to bury Musk's fabricated controversy over the no-cost land transfer to the District of Columbia. Trump, for his part, is in a bigger hole now than he ever was during his presidency as the self-inflicted losses pile up: The Gaetz Lack-of-Ethics Report may come out today. Other nominations are in trouble. One new one may be Alan Dershowitz and another may have padded his resume. The idea of Recess Appointments is forgotten. Trump has been taunted with the "Musk Is President" chatter. Some Republicans are taking it seriously and suggesting him for Speaker. And that in turn let Democrats emphasize Trump tanked the deal to benefit his interests with the Chinese Communist Party. And Trump spoke yesterday for the first time in weeks and sounded drunk - which is a problem, because he doesn't drink. All while he is being pursued by his two worst enemies: himself - and Musk. B-BLOCK (27:00) POSTSCRIPTS TO THE NEWS: Remember my suggestion that MSNBC's response to Trump's win and its own tanking ratings was to do nothing but double down and exploit the Liberal Media Monopoly the cowards at CNN, The Washington Post and others were giving them? Guess what! MSNBC's new boss wants... better relationships with Republicans. (40:56) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Martin Shrkeli emerged from his sewer to get owned on social media, New York sends a bill for damages to the family of a guy a police officer killed with an unmarked car, and are there secret Mark Burnett Trump Outtake Tapes? Don't ask Burnett - he now works for Trump. C-BLOCK (50:20) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: You have your Christmas story, I have mine. Mine is about falling off a cliff near Malibu filming a commercial for fast-food chicken. Stick around for the post-closing theme guest appearance Easter eggs courtesy some of my dogs.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

SEASON 3 EPISODE 74: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:44) BULLETIN: Biden pardons his son. Terrific. Fully support. Now, do the rest of us. Literally offer a pardon to anybody Trump might go after for prosecuting him, criticizing him, covering him, or looking at him funny. I want a 1-800-PARDONME hotline. I want 10 million pardons. SPECIAL COMMENT (2:44): And the pardons should be a jumping off point for how Biden can protect the citizens of this country. What does THIS mean, exactly? “I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.” Joseph Robinette Biden Junior has taken that exact oath NINE times – seven, as Senator, two as Vice President. He has sworn to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and nothing I have found, and no Constitutional scholar I have consulted, indicates that once taken, those oaths expire. And the obligation to defend the United States becomes more profound still now that presidents have been immunized by the Supreme Court from prosecution for.. effectively anything. The incoming President, the one who wants an unqualified toady like Kash Patel to head the FBI and desperately wanted a lawless menace like Matt Gaetz to head the DOJ but will instead settle for a cheap lawyer who LED the “lock her up” chanting against Hillary Clinton at the Republican convention, that president-to-be will be immune and thus unstoppable. The CURRENT president IS immune and thus unstoppable. And already in power and in command and… under oath. So. This raises this theoretical constitutional question: Do the TEN oaths Joe Biden took as Senator, as Vice President, and as President, even PERMIT him to NOT act against enemies, BOTH foreign and domestic – and defend the Constitution of the United States? So help him god? When the Supreme Court has immunized him from prosecution for doing… anything? Anything at all? As long as it's official? B-Block (24:52) POSTSCRIPTS TO THE NEWS: You do realize that Trump's lies about his phone call with the president of Mexico means we will, soon or late, invade Mexico, right? The quote from the Trump Transition Team member to Rolling Stone is "How MUCH do we invade Mexico?" Trump has now nominated both his daughters' fathers-in-law as envoys to the Middle East - including the one who set up his brother-in-law with a taped sex sting and sent the tape to his own sister. And why did JD Vance post a meme of himself in a dress? C-Block (36:00) THE OTHER WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Vivek Ramaswamy self-owns over unelected bureaucracy. We've found George Carlin's Worst Doctor In The World and he owns The Los Angeles Times. And Sideshow Bob (RFK Junior) is seen, uh, hanging out, in his wife's new supplements commercial.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Jake Paul versus Mike Tyson fight disappointment is equal to RFK Junior versus the Mockingbird media. Plus, BREAKING: Tulsi Gabbard is married to Vladimir Putin and they have 16 kids or something like that according to the left. Last story, this past weekend was “pride sunday”, according to some heretical and spiritually captured so-called pastors. What Does God's Word Say?Proverbs 11:2 ESV When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.Proverbs 8:13 ESV The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate.1 Peter 5:5 ESV Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”James 4:6 ESV But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”Proverbs 29:23 ESV One's pride will bring him low, but he who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor.Proverbs 16:18 ESV Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.Psalm 10:4 ESV In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek him; all his thoughts are, “There is no God.”Episode Links:Tom Nichols Loses His Noodle Over Conservative Telling Him to Give Gabbard a ChanceElizabeth Warren just said on MSNBC that Tulsi Gabbard “has clearly been in Putin's pocket”. SERIES 3 EPISODE 70: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN BONUS EDITION: We are missing the POINT of the nominations of Sideshow Bobby Kennedy and Beavis and Botox Gaetz. This, simply, is Trump finding out how MUCH of a dictatorship his Republican House and Senate slaves will let him have. It's hard to believe that the literally worm-eaten brain of RFK Jr and the Madison Cawthorn wannabe that is Matt Gaetz could decide whether the Republicans will stop him here (or anywhere) but this is where we are. Because Trump is explaining his plan: I decide, I tell you what to do, and you do it or else. We are already HERE: THIS is the fork in the fascist road: deliberately choose people with no morals, no qualifications, and no qualities except absolute fealty to the dictator, then insist everybody else salute them. Same for Noem. Same for Gabbard. Same for Hegseth. Same for Patel. THE NEXT TEST will be openly demanding that he be permitted to run again in 2028, if he isn't dead by then. A lot of people asked me why I devoted so much time to the topic yesterday since it's a settled issue. Congressman Dan Goldman was concerned enough by Trump's third term "joke" to introduce a resolution affirming that the 22nd Amendment precludes it. Except, since early this year, the far right has been insisting that you're wrong, that's not what the 22nd Amendment says. The headline in a recent edition of the magazine The American Conservative: “TRUMP 2028.” Sub-head: “The 22nd Amendment is an arbitrary restraint on presidents who serve non-consecutive terms – and on democracy itself.” The American Conservative, by the way, is a "partner" of Project 2025.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
