Jerry read a comment out from a listener who was out walking their puppies on a lead and who expressed frustration at coming across dog owners who allowed their pets run off the lead. Last month, Chris Barrett from Knocknagoshel told Jerry of the devastation a dog attack had on his and his neighbour’s sheep. John Joe Fitzgerald from West Kerry is vice president of the Irish Natura and Hill Farmers’ Association. He heard Knocknagoshel farmer Chris Barrett’s interview yesterday. Some of the sheep owned by Chris and his neighbour were killed and injured by dogs, while a couple remain missing.

Jerry spoke to Chris Barrett, who is a farmer from Knocknagoshel about a dog attack which has seen some of his and his neighbour’s sheep killed, while others are injured and some are still missing. Kerry County Council’s dog wardens are investigating the attack.

Mary Rice is a beautiful 97 year old Women whose family came from Ireland to Dearborn MI raising her 7 children in Livonia MI. Mary is an educated woman who has a special gift for teaching, writing poetry and making life long friends. She  shares  with us her motto, "I have never met an ordinary person" and tells us its meaning. I believe her outlook is  a big reason she is still happy and beloved at the age of 97.
