Beautiful soul, this episode is for any woman navigating perimenopause, menopause, or feeling confused by the emotional, mental, and physical shifts happening in her body. Julie is joined by Dr. Mindy Pelz for a powerful, grounded conversation that reframes hormonal change not as something breaking down, but as an initiation into wisdom, clarity, and deeper self-trust. Together, they explore why symptoms like brain fog, anxiety, irritability, sleep disruption, and emotional intensity are not failures, but messages from the body asking to be listened to differently. This episode gently reframes menopause as a spiritual and biological transition, intuition as a skill that strengthens with age, and metabolic health as a foundation for emotional balance. It is especially supportive for women feeling unseen by the medical system, overwhelmed by symptoms, or sensing that this season of life is calling them into a new level of leadership, truth, and alignment. Gem Of the Day (G.O.D.) about how to attain true wisdom
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom! Explore how this healthy reverence guides you on your spiritual journey and listen to powerful takeaways on how to seek wisdom actively and intentionally.
Presented at Curwensville Alliance on 11/09/25 by Pastor Steve Shields. People look for wisdom in novel places. They look to someone with a big social platform, but not everyone with a big following delivers helpful content. Many people with excellent content go unknown in the world. People look to a professional. People look to someone whose life they can see. So where do we find real wisdom? Wisdom comes from Godly men and women. The kind of people who reflect the image of God and display the character of Christ. Wisdom comes from those interested in you in the kingdom. They don’t give it for fame, money or attention. They give it because they care. Wisdom comes from one who cares about your wellbeing. Wisdom comes from those who worship the God of Scripture. How do you receive wisdom? Be willing to discuss what you’re doing. Don’t hide your struggles. Don’t pretend to be someone you aren’t. Be willing to hear hard words. Be ready to evaluate and implement the wisdom. Discern that this is from God. Pray, evaluate, communicate and initiate.

Using personal anecdotes and biblical references, she emphasizes the need to ask God for guidance, to actively seek wisdom through scripture, and to find a holy pace for our lives. Eiffert highlights the common pitfalls of seeking wisdom in the wrong places and stresses the value of treating God's word as an instruction manual rather than a suggestion. Drawing from the science of cognitive bias, Author, and digital product designer for some of the world's leading tech companies, Vicki Tan, has written a beautiful new book intended to help us find wisdom and confidence in the face of life's biggest questions. In today's conversation we'll dive deeper into her work around the art and science of decision making, Which in Vicki's words: Is less about unlocking secrets, And more about understanding the quiet ways we navigate uncertainty.During our time together Vicki will offer insight into how our cognitive biases -Those default (and often unconscious) lenses through which we view the world -Influence all aspects of our daily lives. From the way we perceive time, to how the people around us influence us, to our tendency to remember the bizarre over the familiar. And, That as we begin to deepen our understanding of how our minds work, And choose to view questions we're stuck on in a different light, We just might be surprised by how clear our answers become. Decision-making can feel overwhelming, and everyone claims to have a solution. How do we gain clarity and wisdom beyond our own understanding? The ancient wisdom of the book of Proverbs in the Bible says this: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” Proverbs teaches us that wisdom is a divine gift. It says, “For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” By seeking Him, seeking His plan, then we can receive wisdom that we need to navigate life's enormous challenges. And it's not just about material success; wisdom is about living a life of peace and purpose. Proverbs even personifies wisdom as a woman, and says about Lady Wisdom, “Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.” Are these the paths of life that you want to walk on? Always remember, there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com
