Karen Stever and Frank Gryner are collaborators on the cutting edge of creativity, technology, recorded music production and video production. Hailing from Ontario, Canada, Karen is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, musician, producer, and animator. In 2008 she released her first album Playground Isolator, co-produced with Frank Gryner (who has worked with the likes of Rob Zombie, The Dandy Warhols, and The Cult). Karen and Frank’s latest collaboration, a 12-track concept record called Idiot Savant, released late last year, tells the story of Ian, a 9 year old boy whose inner genius is lost on those around him, in the hopes of inspiring listeners to reclaim their inner child and “return to the playground.”
