Muhammad Mostafa Heydrian, Throwing Muses, Imperial Triumphant, YHWH Nailgun, Barker, Great Grandpa, Divide and Dissolve, Snapped Ankles, entre autres.

On this week's Out Of Ten Podcast, it's all about METAL. With our streak of metal album reviews continuing, we decided to invite our resident metal expert Keegan to help us review “Goldstar” by Imperial Triumphant. We also get his thoughts on the albums from Deafheaven, Whitechapel and Spiritbox that we reviewed earlier this month, […] The post Episode 322 – Our Resident Metal Expert (feat.
The Metal Debate podcast is back with another amazing album review... this time looking at the new album from avante garde black metallers Imperial Triumphant, “Goldstar" (Century Media Records, 2025). QUOTES "I would describe the overall aesthetic of the record as postmodern in the sense it is purposely eclectic and incorrigibly interdisciplinary, which results in the music of Goldstar appearing both splendid and also at times disturbing… This is glorious black metal nihilism." Zachary Ezrin is our guests this week! We are here to discuss the latest album GOLDSTAR coming out March 21st! We start the show be discussing being the last band to record in Colin Marston studio in NYC, getting the album recorded in 5 days this time around, how they got involvement from Dave Lombardo and Tomas Haake on the album, the influence of early cigarette advertisement on the albums artwork, his thought on the modern day protocols when people “bum a cigarette”, traveling really being important to knowledge of people and there lives, the touring memories that stick after doing for over a decade, and the creative impact that the bands choices of “cover songs” as singles the last few years had. Petar and Brandon discuss Mastodon finally moving on with Brent Hinds after 25 years, us both being shocked that it didn't happen sooner, our hopes that no mud slinging will occur in the future. We also discuss Courtney LaPlante pinpoint the perfect production that does affect current metal core records, Ghost unveiling a billboard in front of a church on the Vegas strip, and him letting fans know that there cell phones won't be allowed at their upcoming world tour. A milestone episode demands a milestone guest and this week I'm pleased to welcome Tribulation guitarist, Adam Zars, for a discussion about their latest record, “Sub Rosa In Aeternum”. We set the world to rights and round up the latest singles by Becerus, Necrodeath, Harakiri For The Sky and Imperial Triumphant for judgment. Squarespace will honor existing customer pricing for at least 12 months following the completion of the purchase. It will also use Google's infrastructure to ensure a "seamless transfer of domains." For existing customers, Squarespace will provide billing and support for Google Workspace customers who've already purchased domains through Google Domains. Sound the horns of war, make ready your steel, and make sure your pizza rolls are hot and ready! The Genre Deathmatch has descended upon us as Franny and Wrecker break down what would happen if metal genres met on the field of battle in this tournament style fight to the death! This episode's live reviews sees Neckwrecker spouting the importance of Zeal & Ardor, and the mind bending insanity that is Imperial Triumphant. The Druids pull back the curtain of secrecy on what they have been listening to as Franny gushes over a little known band called Death and their album Human, while Wrecker is still on the 20 Buck Spin kick with Tzompantli. Lastly, the druids bring a field report on ass wipin' etiquette that will keep your cropduster ready to mist!Intro/Outro music courtesy of Stormruler.Check us out on:Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/druids_of_doom_podcast/Twitter:https://mobile.twitter.com/druids_of_doomAll of our other stuff: https://linktr.ee/druids_of_doom_podcast
Obey your narrator. New York City has been a character in its own right for nearly as long as it's existed. And from Sinatra to Nas, musicians have sliced out portions of the sprawling metropolis and molded it into a setting, a myth, a sonic background. But few, if any, have done what Imperial Triumphant do: turn New York into an eldritch abomination.
We had a jam packed week! Jammed enough that we felt it was best to just dedicate the bulk of the show to basically being one big "Metal Fix". More importantly though, we lost one of the all time greats in The Exalted Piledriver. We were huge Piley fans from the get-go and late in his life considered him a friend. So we pay tribute to this great man and crank some key tracks. In our "News, Views, and Tunes", we were super busy on the live front, took in the Rolling Stones "Unzipped" exhibit and gave adam levine a big FU! Musically, we crank new and used from the aforementioned Piledriver, D.R.I., KEN Mode, Zombi, Imperial Triumphant, Metalucifer, Vile Creature and Dogs With Jobs! Horns Up and Stay Healthy!! Once again it's Album of the Month time and for July it was a pretty unanimous pick with Spirit of Ecstasy from Imperial Triumphant (Century Media Records). The usual gang of suspects are present for the discussion as well as MC Supreme Buke. Much is made of just how insanely good this album is and the band's penchant for being over the top in the best way possible. Elsewhere the gang spends a good portion of the runtime gushing over everything else they listened to since they last got together and since we had a technical glitch (absolute obliteration) with our June episode, some time was spent looking back on that as well.In other words, just another episode of the Nine Circles Audio Thing.9C LINKS: Website | Facebook | Twitter | Instagram
This week on Dread Media, we present a double feature of Mexican extreme horror cinema. First up, Desmond and Tom review the 2014 anthology film Mexico Barbaro. Then, Desmond and Duane grin and bear the 2015 extreme horror found footage "classic" Atroz. Fair warning: these films feature horrible people doing the most horrible things that you can imagine to other people, so this episode features some discussion of those things. This is a rough episode. As such, some rough music is needed: "Matando Gueros 97" by Brujeria, "The Devil in Mexico" by Murder By Death, "Mi Odio y Mi Rabia" by Acidez, and "Merkurius Gilded" by Imperial Triumphant featuring Max Gorelick and his dad, Kenny G. This week, Imperial Triumphant's Steve Blanco is our guest! We discuss how he got Kenny G as a guest performer on the band's new album Spirit of Ecstasy, recently touring the border countries of the Russia/Ukraine conflict, and the film composer that is the biggest inspiration on his band. We also discuss Stanley Kubrick being a perfect example of cinema, his thoughts on modern-day art versus entertainment, how everything they do is somehow tied to New York City, and looking forward to their upcoming tour with Zeal & Ardor. Petar, Sylvia, and Brandon tackle Scott Ian's comments about S.O.D. being canceled in modern times, Corey Taylor giving up on changing people's views, and Mike Patton's need to step away from lives shows due to his mental health.
