Joshua Topolsky is extremely knowledgeable and truly entertaining. He has a keen talent for explaining complicated concepts in easily digestible form for audiences at large. For the booming topic of Artificial Intelligence, Josh would be happy to talk about the growth of AI in music (and elsewhere) and its impact. He used to be a DJ himself and he has experience on both the music and tech side of the conversation. Joshua is a journalist, podcaster, TV personality, technologist, sometimes-executive, and full-time weird nerd who can speak fluently and fluidly about the zeitgeist - from Elon Musk to electoral politics - and turn those conversations into fascinating stories. Josh co-created Vox Media and founded The Verge, and was the Chief Digital Content Officer at Bloomberg Media. More recently, he reimagined and rebooted the infamous Gawker, launched Input - a website about the future - and founded The Outline, a publication that was actually from the future. Josh has been the technology correspondent for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon & Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, a columnist for The Washington Post, and a regular guest on CNN, NBC, and CNBC. In another life he made trance music, toured the world DJ'ing, and had a Top 40 hit in the UK. Josh's latest heady adventure, What Future embarks on a journey to chronicle the thoughts of some of today's more intriguing experts and big thinkers in podcast form. From the director of the 1997 horror classic, Cube, Vincenzo Natali, to David Holz the CEO of AI art generator Midjourney, to Jason Blum, CEO of Blumhouse productions, to Jia Tolentino, author and staff writer at The New Yorker, everyone will find something here to wrangle their curiosity.

Ok. Zugegeben, die Fragen sind etwas überspitzt formuliert. Aber nur um besser streiten zu können. In this first episode Joshua Topolsky and Ryan Houlihan used BLADE RUNNER 2049 as a topic of of discussion. After a bloody mutiny of a film classic, the pair find themselves conflicted on 2049 - is it fun new artistic spectacle or does it harm the legacy of the original?
