The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations has now suggested in Estimates hearings that over 100,000 people may have had their Centrelink payments unlawfully cancelled under the Targeted Compliance Framework (TCF) – roughly 10 times the number the Department has publicly admitted. Jeremy discusses the hearings, the TCF, the creation of a new complaints service, and how to get support if you are affected by payment suspensions or cancellations.// As part of 3CR's 50th anniversary celebrations, we dive into the station's archives to take you back 26 years to a pivotal protest against the World Economic Forum, 11-13 September 2000, at the Crown Casino Complex in Melbourne. The s11 protest brought disparate organising groups together into a broad coalition against globalisation and multinational domination. 3CR covered the massive public opposition to the WEF and compiled highlights of the broadcasts on an award-winning 12-part CD, Globalisation Unplugged.// Christine Carolan, a member of Save Community Health, joined us again to unpack the recently released 'Review of Cohealth General Practice and Related Services, Final Report March 2026'. The Review was provided to the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, and the Victorian Department of Health in March and released publicly in June. Christine explains what the review found and recommended, why it is so significant, reactions to the report, and what comes next. Save Community Health is a community led campaign that receives no funding and is not affiliated with any political party or group. Contact them via email at savecommunityhealth@gmail.com and find out more on their website. Christine encouraged folks to email Health Minister Harriet Shing (contact details here) to demand that cohealth is appropriately resourced and governed to continue providing vital public health services to Melbourne's community.// Chris Ferric is a Naarm-based painter and portraitist whose artistic practice explores social change, collaboration, and developing accessible practices, as well as a member of Disabled People Against Cuts. They were of a group from Disabled People Against Cuts that addressed the public hearing for the Senate Inquiry into the NDIS Amendment Bill 2026 last week. We spoke with Chris about their experience at the public hearing, the dangers of using AI within the NDIS, and why the inquiry report has been delayed. Disabled People Against Cuts encourages people to meet with their local member and senators to ask them to insist on the withrdrawal of the bill. Disabled People Against Cuts also shared The Commons Social Change Library as a resource to assist in taking action.//

Today's broadcast is dedicated to all women in prison, women who have been formerly incarcerated, with an added focus on ending strip searches in Australia. On today's show we first hear a conversation with Sohini Mehta and Monique Hurley from the Human Rights Law Centre. Monique is an Associate Legal Director in the First Nations Justice team at the Human Rights Law Centre, along with Sohini, who is a Senior lawyer in the same team. Sohini and Monique are co-authors of 'Ending Strip Searching in Australian Prisons', a joint report by the Human Rights Law Centre, Flat Out and the Formerly Incarcerated Girls Justice Advocates Melbourne (FIGJAM) collective that was published in March this year. After that, Marisa speaks with Tabitha Lean, First Nations prison advocate who will yarn about Crim Con 2026 which is a gathering built by and for criminalised and formerly incarcerated people, grounded in the belief that the people most impacted by prisons, policing and punishment are not just participants in these conversations, but leaders, theorists, artists and organisers in their own right.

WATCH NOW: https://youtu.be/3f-VsfWFtfAJoin The FLATOUT FAMILY: https://flatoutfamily.com/Family, this conversation right here is for the person who has been carrying pressure in private.Keon Davis pulled up and gave us the real.We talked about losing money, losing identity, father wounds, divorce, grief, rebuilding as a man, and what it looks like to keep going when life hits you from every side. This was not one of those polished conversations where people act like they always had it together. This was honest. This was raw. This was healing.Keon shared what it felt like to lose $375,000, start over in Atlanta, wrestle with abandonment, carry grief, rebuild his business, and still learn how to be present for his daughters. And somewhere in the middle of all that, God was still writing his story. If you are a man trying to rebuild, if you are healing from loss, if you are learning how to lead better, or if you are just tired of pretending you're okay, this episode is for you.Make sure you subscribe, turn on notifications, and drop a comment letting me know what part hit you the hardest.Love yourself Moore, Flatout!Visit our Partner RX Outreach | Rx Outreach is a nonprofit, mail-order pharmacy that supports people in getting access to the medications they need at prices they can afford - with or without insurance.: https://rxoutreach.org/willie/00:00 Welcome to the Love You More Show00:42 RX Outreach partner message02:27 Introducing Keion Davis03:16 How Smooth N Groove started03:33 Making money fast, then losing everything04:14 Starting over in Atlanta05:06 Willie shares Turning Point08:04 Losing $375,000 and rebuilding from zero09:31 Identity shift after the loss10:25 Willie opens up about running from poverty11:23 Doing events for free and building momentum13:00 Tyler Perry Studios calls14:01 What coming home felt like during success16:03 Abandonment, adoption, and performance based identity17:11 Growing up without his father18:48 The childhood turning point22:32 Meeting his father for the first time24:09 Why his father stayed away25:17 Forgiving his father26:29 Why trusting men was hard27:25 Men keeping their word30:30 Marriage, attention, and emotional immaturity32:10 Taught survival by unhealed men34:07 Divorce and leadership36:00 Depression after losing his grandfather38:11 How he responds to grief now40:01 Why he's different now42:20 Willie speaks life over Keion44:29 Rest, surrender, and trusting God47:11 Survival mode vs stewardship51:24 God can do more than your grind57:27 What fatherhood looks like now01:04:41 Willie tells Keion he's proud of him01:06:46 Join the Flat Out Family#LoveYouMoreShow #WillieMooreJr #KeonDavis #Faith #Healing #Fatherhood #Grief #DivorceRecovery #Entrepreneurship #PersonalGrowth✨ Connect with us:Join Our Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/user?u=32743148

Elite 15 briefing culture and verbal rulebook tension Warsaw penalty situation with trash and littering enforcement Mid-season rule shifts versus consistency debate Rapid cooling rule clarification and enforcement Athlete perspective rules are clear in briefings even if not public Fan perspective lack of written rulebook creates confusion Grid versus non-grid racing chaos and safety concerns Course factors behind fast times cold weather sleds and layout World record inflation discussion and athlete skepticism DEKA Sacramento preview and format differences versus HYROX Flat Out UK race breakdown and format innovations LT Games preview and elite matchups This episode centered on the growing disconnect between how HYROX communicates rules internally to Elite 15 athletes and how those same rules are understood publicly. According to Elite athlete Marcus Wallace, enforcement in Warsaw was extremely clear in the mandatory briefing, including a strict two-minute penalty for littering, with exact trash can locations shown and emphasized. The issue, as Matt and the crew pushed, isn't whether athletes knew the rules. It's that those rules have changed mid-season and aren't documented in a consistent, public-facing way. That creates a situation where penalties can decide world championship qualification, while earlier races allowed the same behavior without consequence. The broader conversation widened into familiar territory: inconsistent conditions, inflated times, and the credibility of "world records" in HYROX. Even athletes themselves are treating times cautiously, recognizing that course setup, sled conditions, and temperature can swing results dramatically. At the same time, the sport continues to evolve quickly, experimenting with formats, layouts, and enforcement. The tension is clear. HYROX is trying to be responsive and flexible, while the audience increasingly wants structure, transparency, and consistency as the stakes rise. Today's episode is sponsored by Wodify. Content warning: This episode of Doin' Time contains audio descriptions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who have died, discussion of deaths in custody, strip searches, and women in prison. Today's broadcast is dedicated to all women in prison, and also women who have been formerly incarcerated. Marisa speaks with 3 members of Formerly Incarcerated Girls Justice Advocates Melbourne, known as FIGJAM, Kelly, Nina and Georgia. FIGJAM is a collective of formerly incarcerated women based in Melbourne who have survived violence in the community but also at the hands of the state -- namely prisons and police. FIGJAM was founded by Nina, the Family Violence Justice Project Coordinator from Flat Out in the hope and dream of building a community of staunch advocates providing connection, support and stability to its members. FIGJAM members use their voices and experiences to change community attitudes and push through barriers of stigma and discrimination. We discussed strip searching in prisons. Strip searching is an unnecessary, degrading and deeply harmful practice that should be banned in law by all governments, according to a new report released by the Human Rights Law Centre, Flat Out and FIGJAM. The report was discussed in detail highlighting violations of human rights in prison. FIGJAM's campaign was also discussed.

FIGJAM, Flat Out and Human Rights Law Centre have just launched a co-authored report titled 'Ending Strip Searches in Australian Prisons', which details the harm, prevalence and ineffectiveness of strip searching drawing on a combination of information obtained by Freedom of Information requests and the testimony of formerly incarcerated people including members of FIGJAM Collective. Sarah discussed the campaign's 25th February protests held at Melbourne and Sydney international airports, which prompted a global response via social media coverage. Watch NOW: https://youtu.be/z95pMkW24GkHey family, Willie Moore Jr here, and welcome back to the Love You More Show. This episode is for anybody who's ever been in a relationship where you were doing everything… but still felt unseen. I sat down with Myesha Chaney, author, speaker, singer, and yes… a former First Lady who lived her life in front of the world on platforms like Preachers of L.A.And she kept it all the way honest: the pressure, the identity, the performance… and the moment she realized she couldn't keep surviving off optics. We talk about:• Why counseling “too late” can't undo years of emotional neglect• The difference between love and love with action• How childhood trauma shows up in marriage• Why church culture can celebrate you one day, then forget you the next• And what it really takes to heal until you don't have a scab… you've got a scarAnd family… in a season where the internet has been loud about pastors, platforms, and marriages, including what people have been discussing publicly around Jamal Bryant and his wife, I wanted this conversation to bring balance: accountability, healing, and truth… without the gimmicks. If this episode blesses you, do me a favor:✅ Subscribe✅ Leave a comment✅ Share this with somebody who needs hopeAnd remember… don't just love people.

Putting the car in carnage! On this episode, Tom and Chris are off to the races. But it seems dishonest to call this a racing game, as racing is only one facet of the gameplay of this title developed by Bugbear Entertainment. As the name suggests, wrecking the opposition plays a major role in every game mode, and that is sure to set this game apart from your average racer. The developers call this the spiritual successor to their FlatOut series and inquiring minds surely want to know if it lives up to that pedigree. We're coming to the end of 2024 and if you still haven't reached your Fitness goals, this video is for you! Did you know that according to the National Institute of Health 42% of adults are obese? Are you one of them? Are you waiting until 2025 when the #1 New Year's resolution is to either get in shape or lose weight? Unfortunately, only about 8% succeed in that area. The best way to ensure that you will lose weight in 2025 is to start working on it now in 2024. In this video, I'm going to give you the 3 steps that I would take if I wanted to lose weight and get into shape by the end of the year. The 2rd step you probably never heard of. When I was in the Navy, I indulged in the martial arts and other activities, so I was in very good condition and quite muscular at the time. At the tender age of 22, I was approached by one of my superior officers, who thought it was necessary to provide some unsolicited comments about my muscular physique and how by the time I reached his age of 26, I would no longer have that lean, muscular physique, I would start to look like him, out of shape and flabby. Well, decades later, I think back to that conversation and realize what he said as of this day never materialized. Why? because I made fitness a part of my life, and today, I'm going to share my expertise with you, so let's go! #1 Don't Eat Three to Four Hours Before bedtime. Your metabolism slows down at night, and eating before bedtime forces your body to digest food when it is least efficient, meaning you will store extra calories as fat, and you are loading your body up with fuel that it does not have the capacity or time to burn. This one thing can cause weight gain, especially around the midsection which is the worse place to carry fat. #2 Intermittent Fasting In my Six Weeks to Fitness programs, I discuss and strongly encourage Intermittent Fasting for weight loss and to reduce chronic disease. Intermittent fasting is nothing new. For thousands of years, it has been utilized as a healing and spiritual practice. In recent years, fasting has taken on a new direction, one that has its focus on accelerating fat loss. With intermittent fasting, you not only losing weight, but you gain mental focus and clarity. For those of you who are not familiar with intermittent fasting, it is basically time restricted eating, in other words, you only eat during a specific time. So, it's not really dieting, it's just another pattern of eating, and just in case you are under the impression that you can't fast, think again. Every human being on this planet fasts. When you go to bed at night and wake up 6, 7, 8, or more hours later, you have fasted during that length of time, and when you eat your first meal, you are breaking the fast, and that's why it's called “breakfast.” There are various methods of intermittent fasting out there, but the most popular is the 16:8 intermittent fasting method. This method involves limiting your intake of foods and calorie-containing beverages to a set window of 8 hours per day. You abstain from food for the remaining 16 hours, though you're still allowed to drink water and other no-calorie beverages, like black coffee or tea (no crème or sugar). You can choose to start your fast at 8:00 p.m. in the evening and fast until the next day at 12:00 p.m. for a total of 16 hours, after which you break the fast with a light meal. You can eat regular meals during the 8 hours and start back on your fast at 8 p.m. What if the 16:8 intermittent fasting method doesn't work for you because of the long fasting hours? I would suggest you try 12:12, in other words try fasting for 12 hours and have an eating window of 12 hours. Over time your body will adjust to longer fasting hours such as 14:10, 16:8. Intermittent fasting places your body in fat burning mode during the fasting phase. The first nutrient your body uses for energy is carbs, followed by fat, then protein in that order. When you limit the amount of carbs for 16 hours, your body will seek out the next energy source which is fat, and that is why this type of weight loss program is so effective. Most people are not aware of the fact that the body heals itself while it's in a fasting state, which is another reason why you should fast. Let me read some quotes from some very famous historical figures from our past: It was Plato, who said “I fast for greater physical and mental efficiency.” Benjamin Franklin said “The best of all medicines is resting and fasting.” Why? You are allowing your body to rest and heal itself. Mark Twain who said "A little starvation can really do more for the average sick man than can the best medicines and the best doctors." – #3 “Peak 8 High Intensity Interval Training” High Intensity Interval training is a type of physical training that involves short bursts of high-intensity work mixed in with periods of low-intensity work. The high-intensity periods are typically near maximum exertion, while the recovery periods may involve rest or lower intensity. We have become accustomed to believing that doing some type of aerobic exercise for an hour or more is the best way to lose weight, but that's not the case. If you go to any gym the most used equipment is the cardio equipment and the people showing the least improvement in their body composition are the same people running on the cardio machines. If you're serious about losing weight and toning your body in a short amount of time, I highly recommend Peak 8 Interval Training. Every client I introduced to Peak 8 has seen positive results in a matter of a few short weeks and this is NO exaggeration. This activity will put your body in fat burning mode for hours after you complete the activity. In other words, you will continue burning calories for the rest of the day. Now that I “piqued” your interest into Peak 8 training, let's discuss how it is performed. You can perform this exercise while walking or running or if you prefer to use equipment, a treadmill, elliptical or stationary bicycle will do just fine. Peak 8 Start by warming up slowly for three minutes 30 seconds FLAT OUT sprint / 90 sec complete recovery (keep moving slowly) End with a two-minute cool down The actual sprinting totals only 4 minutes! This type of training will put your body in fat burning mode for hours after the workout and this is why it is one of the most important tools to have in your toolbox. There you have it! 3 Steps that are guaranteed to help you lose 10 pounds or more and will help you to get into shape before 2025. Don't be like everyone else waiting for January 1st only to be disappointed by February 1st, the time is now. Let me know what you think about these steps and if you tried them. There is so much we can do to improve our health naturally and quickly, regardless of your age. I am available for one on one coaching and virtual public speaking. I also have an ebook called Six Weeks to A Flatter Stomach, which is based on my very popular Six Weeks to Fitness programs. It comes with my personal money back guarantee. If you don't see a flatter stomach in 6 weeks, I will return your money no questions asked.
