In this thought-provoking episode of The Radical Health Rebel Podcast, I welcome back author and health researcher Daniel Roytas for a deep dive into some of the most foundational – and controversial – beliefs in modern health. We explore the origins and flaws of germ theory, the misunderstood roles of mold, fungus, and parasites, and why the terrain – not the invader – might hold the real answers to chronic illness.Daniel shares why he walked away from a successful career in naturopathy and academia, and how his years of research have led him back to nature, simplicity, and the body's innate intelligence. We challenge the mainstream view of “pathogens,” examine the overlooked role of environmental toxicity, and question everything from probiotics to fiber to functional medicine protocols. If you've ever wondered whether bacteria, parasites, and even inflammation are actually part of the problem—or part of the solution—this episode will open your mind in the best way.

Glenn Dubin is a billionaire hedge fund manager and major figure in New York's high society whose long, troubling relationship with Jeffrey Epstein went far beyond casual acquaintance. Even after Epstein's 2008 conviction for sex crimes involving a minor, Dubin — along with his wife, Eva Andersson-Dubin — kept him close, inviting him into their home, allowing him to spend holidays like Thanksgiving with their children, and maintaining financial and social ties. This wasn't ignorance; it was an active choice to normalize a convicted sex offender in one of Manhattan's most influential households, effectively lending Epstein the legitimacy he needed to remain welcome in elite circles.Dubin's continued embrace of Epstein, despite years of mounting allegations and sworn victim testimony naming him as a participant in Epstein's abuse, reveals a staggering moral blindness — or worse, a conscious decision to protect a friend whose crimes were well-documented. By keeping the door open for Epstein socially, professionally, and philanthropically, Dubin became part of the protective cocoon that allowed Epstein to survive and thrive after his conviction. In doing so, he not only damaged his own reputation beyond repair but also exemplified the elite complicity that kept Epstein's network intact long after it should have collapsed. And that's not even the worst of what Glenn Dubin has been accused of...to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com

Episode 83: Oracles need to date protectors, warriors & muggles — why you need a ‘sacred masculine' and not a “spiritual man” I am convinced that the men that oracles actually need to be with are ultra human muggles and/or warrior/protector archetypes. In this episode, I'll unpack the WHY. We also dive into:

This is a follow-up conversation. Listen to the first episode here. Jeff Strong worked nearly 30 years in the consumer products industry as a senior executive at Procter & Gamble and global president and chief customer officer at Johnson & Johnson. He then taught in the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University and worked as an advisor to the Church before serving as a mission leader in the Arkansas Bentonville Mission. Jeff has since spent several years doing research on why people are leaving the Church. While not a professional researcher, his career involved a large amount of research and the research he shares in this podcast was done with the help of some of the top Latter-day Saint researchers in the world. Today, Jeff lives in Midway, Utah, and stays busy with a little lavender farm, some business consulting, and enjoying family. Links Slides: Tension From Our Differences When Clapping Happens at Church | A How I Lead Interview with Devin Pope Share your thoughts in the Leading Saints community Transcript coming soon Get 14-day access to the Core Leader Library Highlights Jeff Strong dives deeper into the complexities of faith and community. He explores the idea that while many church leaders may come from a similar mindset, the diversity of perspectives within the congregation is essential for a healthy community. Jeff shares insights from a comprehensive study on disaffiliation and church experiences, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of the church culture. He notes that while many members appreciate the community, service, and spiritual growth offered by the church, there are significant concerns about judgment, conformity, and exclusivity that can alienate individuals with differing beliefs or backgrounds. Jeff and Kurt talk about the tension caused by differences, and Jeff illustrates how the natural human response to perceived threats often leads to conformity and exclusion. He discusses the importance of yielding to the Holy Spirit to navigate these tensions, rather than allowing fear to dictate responses. A key part of the episode is the introduction of a segmentation model that categorizes Latter-day Saints into six belief mindsets: Seekers, Cultivators, Protectors, Avoiders, Connectors, and Explorers. Each segment is defined by its unique values and priorities, with Protectors making up a significant portion of church leadership. Jeff and Kurt discuss the implications of this model, emphasizing that a church comprised solely of one segment would lack the richness and diversity necessary for a thriving community. Understanding these different mindsets can help church leaders foster a more inclusive environment that accommodates a broader range of beliefs and experiences. Jeff encourages listeners to embrace the complexities of faith and community, recognizing that the presence of tension can lead to growth and deeper understanding. 00:02:20 - Embracing Differences in Faith Exploring how to reconcile different perspectives within the church community. 00:05:01 - Tension in Church Experience Discussion on the tension between tradition and change in church experiences. 00:08:01 - The Importance of Differences Recognizing that differences among members are natural and beneficial. 00:10:12 - A Story of the Kingfisher and Magpies A metaphorical story illustrating the challenges of being different in a community. 00:11:10 - Strengths of Church Culture Overview of the strengths identified in the church culture based on research. 00:12:42 - Weaknesses of Church Culture Discussion on the weaknesses and challenges faced within the church culture. 00:14:31 - Patterns of Judgment and Conformity Identifying patterns of judgment and conformity that create tension in the community. 00:16:53 - Experiencing Tension in the Church Sharing personal experiences of members feeling tension within the church culture. 00:19:19 - Natural Man vs.

Ep. 151. In this episode, I sit down with Lizbeth De Sa, an Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner, to explore how healing childhood trauma begins with listening to our inner world. Lizbeth walks us through the concept of the “multiple mind,” where different parts of ourselves—especially protectors and inner children—hold memories, behaviours, and beliefs shaped by our past. We discuss how building trust with these parts is essential for healing, and how IFS therapy creates a safe space to approach trauma gently and compassionately. We also explore the powerful role of joy in healing, and how even laughter can become a tool for release. Lizbeth introduces us to laughter yoga and reminds us that playfulness can live alongside pain. Near-death experiences have been reported since the dawn of humankind. In almost all cases, the stories are very similar.Every year, around 350,000 people in the United States experience cardiac arrest outside of a hospital setting. Worldwide data is staggering. Very few of these people survive; of the ten percent who do, a few report experiencing a life-after-death memory. The International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) has estimated that 85% of children who experienced cardiac arrest have had a near-death experience. This rate is more than twice that of an adult. In this book, you will read personal accounts of people who have been successfully revived after they were pronounced dead. Each has their own account, but you will see a similar theme in each - how each of them had to face their decision-making during their lifetime and whether those decisions were bad or good. Each had to stand in some form of judgment. This correlates to the principles taught in the Jewish, Christian, and Islamic religions.BioJonathan Gregory Reed was born and raised in southern Virginia, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. His southern, conservative values are evident throughout his books. He presently lives in Southern California with his wife, Jeanette, but has never forgotten his roots.Jonathan Gregory Reed worked for the Richmond City Sheriff's Office and later for the Virginia State Police. In 1984, he developed spasmodic dysphonia and had to change professions due to his voice disorder. He worked for thirty years as a nurse in the operating room and discovered he liked writing during this period. He started writing his Protectors series in 2011 and has been writing ever since. His books include a series of Life and Times biographies: The Life and Times Of Joseph Martin, The Forgotten Pioneer; The Life and Times of Thomas Fortune Ryan, A Nelson County Boy; The Life and Times of Booker T. Is there a clear and deliberate agenda against men and boys in culture today? Or, is it simply a byproduct of the relative ease of modern times. My guest today, Pastor Douglas Wilson, makes the case that it's a combination of both and, more accurately, than “modern times,” a result of “wealthy times.” And, if that is the case, what should men do for ourselves and for the future of our children and this world? Today, Doug and I talk about rebuilding strength and order in our lives and instilling it in our boys, how exactly men can step up against the lunacy and degeneracy we see in modern culture, why men make inferior women and vice versa, why reality calls for us, as men, to reckon with the dangerous times in which we live, and why masculinity cannot (and, should not) be legislated away. In this episode of The Yoga Therapy Hour, Amy Wheeler is joined by Tamala Floyd, LCSW, to explore the powerful integration of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and ancestral healing. Tamala, author of Listening When Parts Speak, discusses how generational trauma can be healed through connecting with our ancestors and unburdening our exiled parts. She shares her journey into the world of IFS, the importance of working with both personal and ancestral wounds and how healing these parts can reveal hidden gifts within us. Key Takeaways:Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy: IFS teaches that we are made up of different parts or subpersonalities, each with its own roles and functions. Protectors guard vulnerable parts, which are often exiled due to past trauma. Healing occurs when these protectors are unburdened, allowing the exile to heal and the person to reclaim their wholeness.Ancestral Healing: Tamala introduces the concept of healing ancestral trauma by connecting with well-healed ancestors who are willing to release burdens passed down through generations. This process also allows individuals to access the gifts and heirlooms from their family line. The Role of Protectors: Protectors (e.g., people-pleasing, anger) arise as a response to exiled parts. These protective roles often result in behavior that feels out of control or unbalanced but are essential in safeguarding the individual from deeper wounds.Connecting with Gifts: Healing the generational wounds allows individuals to access the gifts of their ancestors, such as creativity, intuition, and emotional depth, that were previously blocked by trauma.Practical Tips for Exploring IFS: Tamala provides insights on how to begin the journey of identifying and interacting with your parts, including the use of externalizing exercises where others embody these parts to create a tangible, experiential understanding. Tamala Floyd's Upcoming Events:Retreats & Workshops: Tamala leads transformative retreats and workshops around the world. She shares information about her upcoming retreat in Costa Rica for women healing generational trauma and her upcoming retreats in Morocco and California.Book & Audiobook: Listening When Parts Speak is available in both written and audiobook formats. Tamala is also releasing Healing the Wounded Mother, an audiobook focused on healing the mother's wounds to create healthier relationships with children and others. Justin & Jon are back! And even better... on summer vacation! Our goal is to bring you a new episode once a week over break, & we're starting off strong. We've done episodes about generating stories: live outlines, various competitions, even "how-to" episodes for elements of a story... but we haven't talked much about what comes after you've finished. In a recent survey on our Patreon, our WiPpersnappers indicated that their most wanted episode was one detailing the details of submitting stories to presses. Ask & ye shall receive. We teachers assigned each other homework: submit 5 stories for publication this week. As is representative of our current status as functioning human beings: Jon completed 11 submissions and Justin managed 3.Some of this episode might seem rudimentary to many of the oft-published veterans in our audience, but to anyone still a novice in that area, this may prove to be one of our most valuable episodes! Important links are below, so read on... but first, our sponsor! We are grateful to Tadpole Press for sponsoring this week's episode of Writing in Progress. They specifically wanted to share with our audience that submissions are open for their 100 word writing contest, ending November 30th. Entries must be 100 words or less (including title!), can be previously published, you're allowed multiple entries (but must pay the $15 fee each time), first prize wins $1,000 USD, open to all writers. You can submit (and find further guidelines) here!Important links mentioned:The submission grinder can be found here.
In early May, on the morning of the kuu.éex --a nightlong ceremony in celebration of Tlingit ways of life, to honor relatives, and in this specific gathering, the herring -- we circled round a coffee table, folks on the floor, in chairs, cozied up on the couch and listened to Deloole & Rochelle talk about protecting Indigenous sovereignty in the Yukon river water shed. They share about the importance of art, fighting big gas & oil companies, feeding their families, how to be an ally in their struggle... and calls to action, including a peaceful protest & media push this coming Friday, June 20, a Day of Prayer for Salmon. We want to bring attention to this vital work as this administration escalates the targeting of public - ie: stolen - land.Deloole & Rochelle illuminate the many ways white settler colonial violence extracts from, steals, and harms indigenous people, the lands we live on, and our relatives – from herring, salmon & moose, to trees, forests and rivers – all of us across this continent.Amidst violent ICE raids on Tongva land & across Turtle Island, & escalation of the genocide in Palestine, we bring you this heartfelt conversation from Lingit Aani, Tlingit land in Sitka, Alaska, with Deloole Erickson & Rochelle Adams, who organize with many groups, including Native Movement.Stay tuned for an upcoming series in collaboration with the Herring Protectors and Movement Generation, deepening into many themes shared on this episode.Thank you to Movement Generation for inviting so many of us to come together across the Salmon nation last summer, seeding generative relationships across colonially imposed borders. An indigenous-led movement protecting returning sturgeon. How Milwaukee Film is embracing camp for Pride month. How Alice's Garden is cultivating community and peace this summer.
As promised, we're back with the second part of mine and Gaz's podcast. This time around we delve into the realities of public, days only fishing as experienced during our recent "40 Autumns" film. These days only venues are hard graft, rules are strict, fines are harsh and they're not everyones cup of tea. Also in certain areas, these lakes usually have a dark, shady vibe as darkness arrives and the venue in question ticked all those boxes, including the local dogging hotspot. We jokingly called all these things "carp protectors" as fishing them is not for the faint hearted but what an adventure we had. As usual you'll also get your monthly dose of Mike and Mark ramblings, included is a funny story of how I managed to make Gaz's hair look like a giant afro on a recent road trip capture shot. Last but not least, our monthly sermon returns as Panther Harris delivers his latest reading. The first person to simply guess the author, book and chapter name wins a prize. Enjoy.
