¡Ayuda mucho! ¡Gracias!

1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. 2 The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouths of fools gush out folly. 3 Yahweh's eyes are everywhere, keeping watch on the evil and the good. 4 A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but deceit in it crushes the spirit. 5 A fool despises his father's correction, but he who heeds reproof shows prudence. 6 In the house of the righteous is much treasure, but the income of the wicked brings trouble. 7 The lips of the wise spread knowledge; not so with the heart of fools. 8 The sacrifice made by the wicked is an abomination to Yahweh, but the prayer of the upright is his delight. 9 The way of the wicked is an abomination to Yahweh, but he loves him who follows after righteousness. 10 There is stern discipline for one who forsakes the way. He was in active service in the last century of M41, and was over 200 years old when he was recalled into service during the 13th Black Crusade of Abaddon the Despoiler, and it is certain that he survived more than a quarter of a century into M42. Propaganda made him out to be the hero of the Imperium circa late M41 although in truth he was mainly focused on surviving. (However, he differed from many other Imperial commissars in that he would not readily sacrifice soldiers unless it ensured his own survival.) Cain tried his utmost to avoid engaging in actual combat, but had to anyway to maintain his status as a Hero of the Imperium, which ironically involved him in more dangerous situations than any he would usually see as a commissar. He was responsible for many successful campaigns throughout his career and retired to become a professor at a Schola Progenium. In M42 the Cain Archive was published among the ranks of the Inquisition. They are sequestered by order of the Holy Ordos, and are kept and organised as the Cain Archive by Ordo Xenos Inquisitor Amberley Vail with whom Cain had many encounters over his career, and shared a close working and personal relationship. It is worth noting, as Inquisitor Vail does in footnotes throughout his memoirs, that Cain was a skilled liar and dissembler, and therefore anything to which he refers that is not independently documented could well be a fabrication to maintain his reputation.Support the show

A biker gang and a glee club go into a bar... That's not a joke setup. It's just the cold open. This week the angel turf war between Bartholomew and Malachi escalates fast, Castiel shows up with his FBI badge still very much in hand, and Metatron is lurking in alleyways because heaven is boring.Meanwhile, the Gadreel situation is unraveling, and this midseason finale does not pull its punches. Berly and LA break down the big reveals, debate Metatron's jarring villain pivot, mourn a beloved character, and address the show's angel-power inconsistencies. We close out with a mid-season check-in: too many factions, Abaddon still out there with a list of every hunter's name, Crowley in the basement probably judging everyone's choices, and Gabriel still nowhere to be found despite promises he's coming. Berly is keeping score. The midseason finale came for our throats, and we were NOT prepared.Drop a comment with your theories, and if you're enjoying the show, a review helps other fans find their way to the bunker. On today's episode, we discuss how the book of Revelation portrays God's covenant faithfulness to Israel, the rise of the Antichrist, and the unfolding of end-times judgment through seals, trumpets, and bowls. The hosts trace themes like the Song of Moses in Deuteronomy 32, the repentance and sealing of 144,000 from the tribes of Israel, and the role of earthquakes, plagues, and symbolic figures such as the beast and Abaddon in God's plan. They explore differing views on the rapture, tribulation, and the millennium, emphasizing that these debates should not divide believers or overshadow the central hope of Christ's return. Throughout the conversation, the guests stress the importance of a genuine daily walk with Christ, unity in the church, and keeping our eyes on Jesus rather than speculating fearfully about future events. Don't miss it!

Proverbs Daily Podcast

1 Don't boast about tomorrow; for you don't know what a day may bring. 2 Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips. 3 A stone is heavy, and sand is a burden; but a fool's provocation is heavier than both. 4 Wrath is cruel, and anger is overwhelming; but who is able to stand before jealousy? 5 Better is open rebuke than hidden love. 6 The wounds of a friend are faithful, although the kisses of an enemy are profuse. 7 A full soul loathes a honeycomb; but to a hungry soul, every bitter thing is sweet. 8 As a bird that wanders from her nest, so is a man who wanders from his home. 9 Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart; so does earnest counsel from a man's friend. 10 Don't forsake your friend and your father's friend. Don't go to your brother's house in the day of your disaster. A neighbor who is near is better than a distant brother. 11 Be wise, my son, and bring joy to my heart, then I can answer my tormentor. 12 A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it. 13 Take his garment when he puts up collateral for a stranger. Hold it for a wayward woman! 14 He who blesses his neighbor with a loud voice early in the morning, it will be taken as a curse by him. 15 A continual dropping on a rainy day and a contentious wife are alike: 16 restraining her is like restraining the wind, or like grasping oil in his right hand. 17 Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend's countenance. 18 Whoever tends the fig tree shall eat its fruit. He who looks after his master shall be honored. 19 Like water reflects a face, so a man's heart reflects the man. 20 Sheol* and Abaddon are never satisfied; and a man's eyes are never satisfied. 21 The crucible is for silver, and the furnace for gold; but man is refined by his praise. 22 Though you grind a fool in a mortar with a pestle along with grain, yet his foolishness will not be removed from him. 23 Know well the state of your flocks, and pay attention to your herds, 24 for riches are not forever, nor does the crown endure to all generations. 25 The hay is removed, and the new growth appears, the grasses of the hills are gathered in. 26 The lambs are for your clothing, and the goats are the price of a field. 27 There will be plenty of goats' milk for your food, for your family's food, and for the nourishment of your servant girls. Rev. Jon Jo | Modern Service | Revelation 9:1-121 The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. 2 When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. 3 And out of the smoke locusts came down on the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth. 4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 They were not allowed to kill them but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes. 6 During those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.7 The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces. 8 Their hair was like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth. 9 They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. 10 They had tails with stingers, like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months. 11 They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).12 The first woe is past; two other woes are yet to come.

Abaddon is back, and she isn't here to negotiate. We grab drinks and unpack “Devil May Care” from Supernatural Season 9, where the fallout from Dean's desperate choice keeps getting louder: Sam feels healthier than he has in ages, but only because Ezekiel is hiding inside him and quietly taking control when things go sideways. We follow the case from a choppy, creepy cold open to a military base full of too-clean answers, then into an abandoned, poisoned town that turns into a trap. Along the way, we talk about why Tracy's introduction feels like the show trying to hand us a new recurring hunter, why Irv's betrayal hits a nerve, and why Abaddon's philosophy makes her scarier than most villains. She wants demons who act like warriors, she upgrades vessels like gear, and she clocks Dean as the kind of “perfect vessel” that pulls the whole archangel mythos back into focus.Back at the Men of Letters bunker, the emotional core is Kevin Tran versus Crowley. The torture plan backfires into something more disturbing and more honest: Crowley craves attention, Kevin is spiralling, and Dean tries to keep everyone together while holding a secret that Sam can't consent to. We close with a lore deep dive into the Goetia and demon hierarchy keywords like kings, dukes, princes, marquis, presidents, and the lone knight rank, then connect it back to what “Knight of Hell” means for Abaddon's power.Subscribe for more Supernatural episode recaps, share this with a friend who loves the Winchesters, and leave a review. This is a clip from a homily that Fr. Eric gave at the Mass of the Lord's Supper on April 2, 2026 at St. James in Colgan, Ontario. Psalm 88: O Lord, God of my salvation, when, at night, I cry out in your presence, let my prayer come before you; incline your ear to my cry. For my soul is full of troubles, and my life draws near to Sheol. I am counted among those who go down to the Pit; I am like those who have no help, like those forsaken among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, like those whom you remember no more, for they are cut off from your hand. You have put me in the depths of the Pit, in the regions dark and deep. Your wrath lies heavy upon me, and you overwhelm me with all your waves. Selah. You have caused my companions to shun me; you have made me a thing of horror to them. I am shut in so that I cannot escape; my eye grows dim through sorrow. Every day I call on you, O Lord; I spread out my hands to you. Do you work wonders for the dead? Do the shades rise up to praise you? Selah. Is your steadfast love declared in the grave, or your faithfulness in Abaddon? Are your wonders known in the darkness, or your saving help in the land of forgetfulness? But I, O Lord, cry out to you; in the morning my prayer comes before you. O Lord, why do you cast me off? Why do you hide your face from me? Wretched and close to death from my youth up, I suffer your terrors; I am desperate. Your wrath has swept over me; your dread assaults destroy me. They surround me like a flood all day long; from all sides they close in on me. You have caused friend and neighbour to shun me; my companions are in darkness.

March 16, 2026 Hello and Happy Day! This is Dr. MaryAnn Diorio, Novelist and Life Coach, welcoming you to another episode of Winning with the Word. Today is Monday, March 16, 2026, and this is episode #7 in Series 2026. This episode is titled, “Jesus Christ Is Coming Back.” Before we get into our message, let me share a resource that will help you to draw closer to Jesus every day. It’s titled The Daystar Devotional and is a compilation of daily meditations I’ve written based on a Scripture verse for the day. If you’re looking for daily encouragement in your walk with Christ, The Daystar Devotional will provide just what you’re looking for. Daily readings will give you fresh insight into Scripture verses that will inspire you, encourage you, and strengthen you as you face the daily challenges of life. The Daystar Devotional is a powerful tool for growing in your relationship with our precious Lord. The Daystar Devotional is available in both print and ebook formats at the links below or in the show notes. The Daystar Devotional (Print)The Daystar Devotional (eBook) And now, let's dive right into this week's message: Jesus Christ Is Coming Back. A lot has been said recently about the return of Jesus Christ in the cataclysmic event called the Rapture. So much, in fact, that the fact that Jesus hasn’t returned yet has caused the mockers to increase in number and intensity. But just because Jesus hasn’t returned yet doesn’t mean He won’t. To think that His delay is permanent is deception, and it is where the great danger lies. For you see, my friend, Jesus Christ promised us that He would return. Before He went back to Heaven after His resurrection, Jesus said this to His followers: “In My Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” (John 14: 2-3). Since Jesus is God, He cannot lie. He will keep His Word. He will return. Let me be as clear and as simple as I can. The Bible prophesies the return of Christ in an earth-shattering event called the Rapture. Let’s read about this in 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17: “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever.” After the Rapture, the Bible prophesies that a seven-year period of intense human suffering will come upon the earth. This seven-year period is called the Tribulation and will occur during the rule and under the rule of a man called the AntiChrist. Why is he called the AntiChrist? Because he will oppose everything the true Jesus Christ stands for and, in fact, the AntiChrist will attempt to replace Christ. The AntiChrist will proclaim Himself as God. Behind the AntiChrist will be Satan himself who will, in effect, use this man to perpetrate the worst horrors the world has ever known. Listen to what the Bible says about these horrors in the Message Translation where the AntiChrist is referred to as “the Anarchist:” 2 Thessalonians 2: 3-5 and verses 9-12 (The Message Translation):  “Before that day comes, a couple of things have to happen. First, the Apostasy. Second, the debut of the Anarchist, a partner in crime with Satan. He'll defy and then take over every so-called god or altar. Having cleared away the opposition, he'll then set himself up in God's Temple as God Almighty . . . The Anarchist's coming is all Satan's work. All his power and signs and miracles are fake, evil sleight of hand that plays to the gallery of those who hate the truth that could save them. And since they're so obsessed with evil, God rubs their noses in it—gives them what they want. Since they refuse to trust truth, they're banished to their chosen world of lies and illusions.” The Bible further describes the day of the Rapture in the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Thessalonians, chapter 1, verses 2 and 3. This is Paul writing: “You know as well as I that the day of the Master's coming can't be posted on our calendars. He won't call ahead and make an appointment any more than a burglar would. About the time everybody's walking around complacently, congratulating each other—“We've sure got it made! Now we can take it easy!”—suddenly everything will fall apart. It's going to come as suddenly and inescapably as birth pangs to a pregnant woman.”Did you hear that, my friend? The day of Christ’s return will come as a huge surprise to those who are not looking for His return. Some translations describe his return as unexpected as the intrusion of a thief in the night. Moreover, in Revelation 4: 8, we read of the holy angels who are now worshipping the Lord and proclaiming the promise of His return: “Day after day and night after night they keep on saying, ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty— the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come.’”The question then is not if Jesus will return. He Himself said He would. Nor is the question when will He return. The question is a far more important and momentous one: Are YOU ready for His return? You might be thinking, Dr. MaryAnn, this sounds like hogwash to me. Why should I be paying attention to the return of Jesus Christ? Why should I care? I don’t even believe in Jesus Christ. Christians have been talking for years about the return of Jesus, but He hasn’t come back yet. So what’s the deal? The deal is that your position regarding the return of Jesus Christ will mean the difference between whether you escape the Tribulation or whether you won’t. Why should you want to escape the Tribulation? Because during the Tribulation, as the Bible states in Matthew chapter 24 verse 21, “…there will be greater anguish than at any time since the world began. And it will never be so great again.” (Matthew 24: 21 NLT) Sobering words, no? So what will happen during the Tribulation? The Bible describes the scenario in several places. Let’s take a look at a few of them: 2 Thessalonians 1: 7-9 NLT: “He [Jesus] will come with his mighty angels, in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don't know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from his glorious power.“ Revelation 6: 12 (describing the vision of John the Apostle in approximately 95 A.D.): ” . . . there was a great earthquake. The sun became as dark as black cloth, and the moon became as red as blood.” Revelation 9: 10-11 – “Then the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen to earth from the sky, and he was given the key to the shaft of the bottomless pit. When he opened it, smoke poured out as though from a huge furnace, and the sunlight and air turned dark from the smoke. “Then locusts came from the smoke and descended on the earth, and they were given power to sting like scorpions. They were told not to harm the grass or plants or trees, but only the people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. They were told not to kill them but to torture them for five months with pain like the pain of a scorpion sting. In those days people will seek death but will not find it. They will long to die, but death will flee from them! “The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. They had what looked like gold crowns on their heads, and their faces looked like human faces. They had hair like women's hair and teeth like the teeth of a lion. They wore armor made of iron, and their wings roared like an army of chariots rushing into battle. They had tails that stung like scorpions, and for five months they had the power to torment people. Their king is the angel from the bottomless pit; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon—the Destroyer.“ So, my friend, you can see from these few Scripture verses that the Tribulation will not be a picnic. It will be horrifying. Over half of the world’s population will die. In Revelation 6: 8 NLT, the Apostle John prophesies that one-quarter of the earth’s population will die: “I looked up and saw a horse whose color was pale green. Its rider was named Death, and his companion was the Grave. These two were given authority over one-fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword and famine and disease and wild animals.” Then later, in Revelation 9: 15 NLT, he tells us this: “Then the four angels who had been prepared for this hour and day and month and year were turned loose to kill one-third of all the people on earth.” That’s over 80% of the world’s population that will die! These verses give just a few examples of the horrors that will befall those who are alive during the Tribulation. You don’t want to be one of them. But, if you do not accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, you will be one of them. Only those who receive Christ into their lives will escape this time of unfathomable anguish, but those who do not follow Christ will not. So what is your choice, my friend? Do you want to live through the Tribulation and probably end up living forever in hell? Or do you want to believe that Jesus loves you, and that He died and rose from the dead to take the punishment for your sin so that you could live in Heaven with Him forever? The choice seems like a no-brainer. You might say, “I’ll just wait and see, Dr. MaryAnn. If I end up in the Tribulation, I could always accept Jesus then.” Yes, you could. But it will be extremely difficult. Why? Because the Bible says that those who accept Christ during the Tribulation will not be allowed to buy or sell anything unless they take the mark of the beast. And they won’t take the mark of the beast. The Beast is the AntiChrist, also known as Satan personified. The mark is a digital I.D. that will be placed on or subcutaneously implanted into one’s forehead or hand. This mark will identify that person as a follower of the AntiChrist. Those who refuse to take the mark in order to follow the true Christ will be identified as traitors and will be executed, most likely by being beheaded. In order for you to buy food for your family during the Tribulation, you will need to pledge allegiance to Satan and worship him as god. And once you do that, you relinquish every opportunity to be saved and to go to Heaven. Listen to what the Bible says:“Then a third angel followed them, shouting, ‘Anyone who worships the beast and his statue or who accepts his mark on the forehead or on the hand must drink the wine of God's anger. It has been poured full strength into God's cup of wrath. And they will be tormented with fire and burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and the Lamb. The smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever, and they will have no relief day or night, for they have worshiped the beast and his statue and have accepted the mark of his name.’” Why will those who take the mark of the beast be doomed forever in hell? Because accepting the mark of the beast will alter your DNA. If your DNA is altered, you will no longer be human but transhuman. And transhumans cannot be saved because Jesus died only for humans, not for transhumans. My friend, please hear my heart. I don’t want you to go to Hell. It is a place of eternal torment from which you will never be able to escape. Can you even fathom what eternal means? It means never-ending. Forever without hope. Have you ever felt hopeless? Well, multiply that to the nth power and you will get only a glimpse of what eternal hopelessness feels like. But you can avoid all of this simply by believing in Jesus Christ and in His love for you. How hard is that to do? How hard is it to believe that God loves you so much that He was willing to take the punishment for sin that you should have taken? God does not want you to go to hell, my friend. He doesn’t send anyone to hell. People send themselves to hell by refusing to believe God. Listen to what God’s heart for you is: “For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” – 1 Thessalonians 5: 9. The Tribulation is the time when God will pour out his wrath on a sinful world. The Bible tells us that the Christ-Follower is not appointed to wrath. Friend, you don’t have to be here for the Tribulation. You can escape the hell that is about to be unleashed on the earth. All you have to do is receive the love Jesus has for you, a love so profound and so perfect that He gave His very life for you. Won’t you do that now? Won’t you accept Him now? Pray this simple prayer with me: Lord Jesus, I need You. I don’t want to be here for the Tribulation. I want to spend forever with You in Heaven. I believe that You are the Son of God Who died for me and rose from the dead and paid the price for my sin. I receive You now as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for saving me. Thank you for taking the punishment for my sin. Make me like You, Jesus. In Your Name I pray. Amen. If you sincerely prayed this prayer from your heart, you are now a born-again child of God. Revelation 9 ESV 1 And the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star fallen from heaven to earth, and he was given the key to the shaft of the bottomless pit. 2 He opened the shaft of the bottomless pit, and from the shaft rose smoke like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke from the shaft. 3 Then from the smoke came locusts on the earth, and they were given power like the power of scorpions of the earth. 4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 They were allowed to torment them for five months, but not to kill them, and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings someone. 6 And in those days people will seek death and will not find it. They will long to die, but death will flee from them.7 In appearance the locusts were like horses prepared for battle: on their heads were what looked like crowns of gold; their faces were like human faces, 8 their hair like women's hair, and their teeth like lions' teeth; 9 they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the noise of their wings was like the noise of many chariots with horses rushing into battle. 10 They have tails and stings like scorpions, and their power to hurt people for five months is in their tails. 11 They have as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyon.12 The first woe has passed; behold, two woes are still to come.13 Then the sixth angel blew his trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar before God, 14 saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour, the day, the month, and the year, were released to kill a third of mankind. 16 The number of mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten thousand; I heard their number. 17 And this is how I saw the horses in my vision and those who rode them: they wore breastplates the color of fire and of sapphire[c] and of sulfur, and the heads of the horses were like lions' heads, and fire and smoke and sulfur came out of their mouths. 18 By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed, by the fire and smoke and sulfur coming out of their mouths. 19 For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails, for their tails are like serpents with heads, and by means of them they wound.20 The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk, 21 nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts. For more information about Redeemer Church Lubbock visit our website at redeemerlubbock.org.

The sun and the air were darkened by the smoke from the pit. 3 And out of the smoke came locusts on the earth, and they were given the kind of power that scorpions of the earth have. 4 They were told not to harm the earth's grass, any green plant, or any tree, but only those people who do not have God's seal on their foreheads. 5 Indeed, they were not given permission to kill these people but only to torture them for five months. And the pain they cause is like the pain caused by a scorpion when it stings a person. 6 In those days people will seek death but will certainly not find it. They will long to die, but death will escape them. 7 The locusts looked like horses ready for battle. On their heads were what appeared to be crowns that were like gold. Their faces looked like human faces. 8 They had hair that looked like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth. 9 They had breastplates that appeared to be made of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of many chariots and horses charging into battle. 10 They had tails with stingers like those of scorpions, and in their tails they had power to hurt people for five months. 11 They have the angel of the abyss over them as their king. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he has the name Apollyon. [1] 12 One woe is past. Look! After these things two more woes are coming. The Sixth Trumpet 13 Then the sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice speak from the four [2] horns of the gold incense altar that is before God. 14 It said to the sixth angel, the one with the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 And the four angels who had been prepared for this hour, day, month, and year were let loose so that they could kill a third of the people. 16 The number of soldiers on horseback was two hundred million. I heard their number. 17 And this is what I saw in the vision of the horses and their riders: They had breastplates that were fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow. The heads of the horses were like the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire and smoke and sulfur. 18 As a result of these three plagues, the fire and the smoke and the sulfur that came out of their mouths, a third of mankind was killed. 19 For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails, for their tails are like snakes that have heads, which they use to cause injuries. 20 The rest of the people, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands by giving up their worship of demons and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone, or wood, which cannot see, hear, or walk. 21 And they did not repent of their murders, their sorceries, their sexual immoralities, or their thefts. Footnotes Revelation 9:11 Both Abaddon and Apollyon mean Destroyer. Reach Out: Please include your email and I will get back to you. Thanks!Revelation 9 The fifth angel sounds his trumpet, and a star falls from heaven to earth. He is given the key to the bottomless pit and opens it, releasing smoke that darkens the sky and a swarm of locusts with power like scorpions. These locusts do not harm plants but torment people who lack the seal of God on their foreheads. Their king is called Abaddon in Hebrew and Apollyon in Greek. The sixth angel then sounds his trumpet, and four angels bound at the Euphrates are released to kill a third of mankind. A vast army of horsemen appears, bringing death through fire, smoke, and sulfur. Despite these terrifying plagues, the rest of humanity does not repent of their sins, including idolatry, murder, sorcery, sexual immorality, and theft. Their hearts remain hardened.  We reflect on these scenes as fulfilled in the past, yet they still speak to our hearts today. The judgments were severe, and the suffering was great, yet people continued in rebellion. This shows the tragic reality of hardened hearts when pride resists repentance. We are reminded that judgment is not just about punishment but a call to turn back to God. Even now, we can learn from those who refused to repent. We must remain humble, quick to confess, and eager to walk in the light. God desires hearts that respond to His voice. These fulfilled events urge us to examine our own lives, reject sin, and faithfully follow the one who has sealed us with His name.  All-powerful Lord, we come before You with humility and reverence. You are just in all Your ways, and Your judgments are righteous and true. Though the scenes of Revelation 9 were fulfilled in the past, they remind us of the danger of hardened hearts and the cost of unrepented sin. Keep our hearts soft and open to Your truth. Help us turn from every form of evil and walk in obedience to Your will. Strengthen our faith and guard us with Your seal. May we never ignore Your voice but live each day with repentance, gratitude, and devotion to You.  Thought Questions: God's judgment on the enemy was extreme. What do God's actions teach you about His attitude toward sinfulness among the nations? What does the continued refusal to repent, even after suffering, reveal about how hard hearts can get? How do you avoid such a heart? What can the seal of God on the faithful teach you about the importance of your spiritual identity and faithfulness at all times?

Berly and LA dive into the emotional rollercoaster that is Supernatural's Season 8 finale, and spoiler alert: there were tears. Like, a LOT of tears. The episode kicks off with Crowley crashing Sheriff Jody Mills' blind date in the worst possible way (choking her out, not the fun kind), leading to Dean making a deal he swore he wouldn't make. Sam continues the demon-curing trials while injecting Crowley with purified blood, which leads to Mark Sheppard delivering a heartbreaking performance about just wanting to be loved. Meanwhile, Castiel gets manipulated by Metatron in what turns out to be a scheme to cast all angels out of heaven—not exactly the "closing the gates" plan they signed up for.The hosts are especially emotional about the final church scene between Sam and Dean, where Sam confesses he feels like he constantly lets Dean down, and Dean finally tells him to stop the trials. Cue the waterworks. Also featuring: Abaddon's fiery return (RIP that nice suit), Kevin stress-drinking whiskey in the bunker, and a whole lot of screaming at the TV about whether Jody survived.Fair warning: bring tissues and prepare for your heart to shatter into a million pieces. They find a secret dungeon with the prettiest devil's trap ever, then resurrect Abaddon by sewing her head back on. She escapes after her severed hand crawls up her body to remove the bullet - the hosts loved Alaina Huffman's performance making the hand seem alive.Cas tries apologizing to Dean by buying him a care package (jerky, beer, pie, Busty Asian Beauties) in an adorable convenience store scene. Meanwhile, Metatron recruits him for Heaven-closing trials, starting with killing a flirty Nephilim waitress who complimented his coat. The devastating turn: Crowley threatens to murder everyone Sam and Dean have ever saved unless they stop the trials. He kills people every 12 hours - Jenny Klein gets charred, and Sarah Blake suffocates while Sam holds her. They can't find the hex bag hidden in electronics in time. The episode ends with Sam wanting to surrender and Dean insisting they continue, setting up an impossible dilemma for the finale. The hosts were emotionally wrecked by Sarah's death after really thinking they'd save her."I've had that hangover. Jaeger man."Sources:https://supernatural.fandom.com/wiki/Clip_Showhttps://www.gotquestions.org/Abaddon-Apollyon.htmlSend us your review!Support the showTHANK YOU FOR LISTENING!Please rate and review Denim-Wrapped Nightmares wherever you get your podcasts! Introduction: Someone once said, "Sin is its own worst avenger." THIS IS TO SAY, "IN THE SINS THEMSELVES ARE THE SEEDS THAT DESTROY." The CONSEQUENCES of sin punish the transgressor. The man or woman who chooses sin chooses self-harm. WHY? BECAUSE SIN IS TRANSGRESSION AGAINST GOD HIMSELF. Whatever is contrary to God's nature and God's will is contrary to GOOD. ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS IS GOOD AND ALL SIN IS DESTRUCTIVE. And standing behind all sin, all rebellion against God is the great leader of that rebellion — Satan — and he is a DESTROYER. ESV John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. NAS Revelation 9:11 They have as king over them, the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek he has the name Apollyon. (Ἀπολλύων is "a destroyer.") In sin is that which is OUT OF ORDER. In sin is that which is SELF-DESTROYING. In sin is that which is OTHERS-DESTROYING. In sin is the WISDOM FROM BELOW that produces CHAOS ALL AROUND. THE FRUIT OF SIN IS PAIN, LOSS, REGRET, DISCONTENTMENT, AND EMPTINESS.

Welcome back to another episode of Denim Wrapped Nightmares, where Berly and LA tackle Supernatural Season 8, Episode 12: "As Time Goes By" - and this one's a real family reunion! What Went Down:The episode kicks off in 1958 with a dapper gentleman in a trench coat saying goodbye to his sleeping son. This mystery man heads to what looks like a secret society meeting, only to find demon Abaddon (possessing the lovely Josie) murdering everyone in sight. Armed with a mysterious box and some blood magic, he creates a portal to escape... and crashes right through Sam and Dean's motel closet in 2013! Plot twist: it's Henry Winchester - John's dad and the boys' grandfather they never knew existed. The Big Reveals:Henry Winchester is alive! Well, he was. John's father didn't abandon his family - he time-traveled to protect a supernatural artifactMen of Letters exist! Think Hogwarts library meets Monster Hunters Anonymous - they're the brains to hunters' brawnAbaddon is terrifying - A Knight of Hell handpicked by Lucifer himself, and she's got style (love that devil-themed t-shirt theft)That box is important - Contains the key to every supernatural object, scroll, and spell ever collected. Talk about your ultimate supernatural storage unit! The Family Drama:Henry learns his "legacy" grandkids are just lowly hunters (the horror!), while Dean gets to process having yet another family member who prioritized "the greater good" over being there for their kid. The apple doesn't fall far from the Winchester tree of abandonment issues. The final showdown features Henry getting gutted (not in the fun way), but managing to trap Abaddon with a devil's trap carved into a bullet before Dean decapitates her. Henry dies, but not before telling the boys he's proud of the men John raised.Memorable Moments:Henry's Houdini handcuff trick that had everyone confusedThe "Mayans were wrong" joke about 2013Dean checking out the comic book store clerk (memorable enough that Abaddon noticed)Henry's magical sleeping powder that worked VERY well on the shop ownerThe coordinates to the "safest place on earth" - next stop on the Winchester world tour!Gore Counter:Relatively tame episode - some bleeding eyes, throat slitting, and Henry's stomach situation, but nothing too splooge-worthy for our hosts' official count. The Setup:The boys now have coordinates to a supernatural safe house that supposedly contains every magical artifact ever collected. Will this be their supernatural Costco? Can they finally help Kevin with those pesky demon tablets? And will they ever call Castiel for backup in these life-or-death situations? The hosts loved Henry's character, Abaddon's fabulous villainy, and the family legacy revelations. A solid episode that adds new layers to Winchester family history while setting up future adventures!"One of you must know John Winchester." "Tell you what, when one of us falls out of your closet, then you can ask the questions."Sources:https://supernatural.fandom.com/wiki/As_Time_Goes_By https://www.astronomy.com/science/what-are-wormholes-an-astrophysicist-explains-these-shortcuts-tSend us your review!Support the showTHANK YOU FOR LISTENING!Please rate and review Denim-Wrapped Nightmares wherever you get your podcasts!
