Il ne fallait pas l'énerver et surtout, il ne fallait pas le battre. Il est comme ça Pogacar, il n'aime pas rester sur une défaite comme celle concédée il y a 15 jours semaines à l'arrivée de Milan-San Remo ou il avait subi la loi de Mathieu Van der Poel. Mais ce dimanche sur les pavés et les monts du Ronde le champion slovène a tapé du poing sur la table pour s'offrir une somptueuse revanche en s'imposant en costaud devant tous les cadors à commencer par Van der Poel qui n'a pas pu suivre Pogi dans le vieux Quaremont. Une magnifique victoire qui permet au champion du monde d'ajouter une nouvelle ligne à un palmarès incroyable. Il en est désormais à 8 monuments décrochés et rêve d'en ajouter un 9e dès dimanche prochain sur Paris-Roubaix. Monumental monument. Les passionnés de cyclisme que nous sommes avons vécu un moment trop rare dans le calendrier des courses cyclistes avec ce Milan-San Remo qui restera sans doute dans la légende. L'une des plus belles courses de ces dernières années et sans doute son plus beau vainqueur en la personne d'un Mathieu Van der Poel de gala. Le Néerlandais qui a su une fois encore dompter le roi Tadej toujours bredouille dans les rues de San Remo.La Primavera est redevenue dingue, comment expliquer ce retour de flamme ? Pourquoi Pogi n'arrive pas à lâcher ses poursuivants sur cette course ? Peut-on craindre que les organisateurs changent le parcours pour favoriser Pogacar ? Peut-il progresser sur le sprint ?
