Trois succès d'étape, un classement général dans la poche et surtout une victoire par KO. Ce Critérium du Dauphiné a comblé le roi Pogi. Tadej Pogacar qui en l'espace d'un petit week end dans les Alpes a assommé la concurrence et donné la migraine à tous les amoureux du Tour qui se demande si la grande boucle à venir ne serait pas déjà jouée d'avance.Et aujourd'hui dans Grand Plateau nous allons tenter de nous redonner le moral et essayer de trouver des raisons de croire en un Tour à suspense. Pas faciles à trouver ces arguments il faut bien se l'avouer mais on va s'atteler à la tâche. Un Critérium conclu et ça, ça file la banane par une victoire Française. Lenny Martinez le petit prodige de la Bahreïn Victorious est allé chercher un magnifique succès au Mont Cenis qui lui a fait oublier une semaine délicate. En revanche la semaine a été magnifique, quasiment du début à la fin, pour Paul Seixas qui faisait ses grands débuts sur une course à étapes World Tour. Et quels débuts il termine 8e et nous remplit d'espoirs pour la suite. Des espoirs on en fonde également sur d'autres coureurs dont Louis Barré, membre de la formation Intermarché-Wanty qui après une très belle saison de classiques confirme sur les courses par étape qu'il faudra désormais compter sur lui et notamment sur le prochain Tour auquel il participera pour la 1ere fois. Lenny Martinez, qui semblait un ton en-dessous a repris du poil de la bête en s'imposant dans l'ultime étape de la semaine, au sommet du Mont Cenis, devant Pogacar et Vingegaard.  Paul Seixas est quant à lui LA révélation de ce Critérium. Passé pro il y a tout juste 6 mois, le jeune prodige de 18 ans participait à sa première course World Tour et termine 8e du classement général. De quoi s'emballer pour les années à venir !  De son côté, Louis Barré, 25 ans, conclut son magnifique printemps après une très belle campagne de classiques et une bonne semaine dans les Alpes. Tadej Pogacar er bedst, når det går opad. Så kort kan det siges. Det beviste sloveneren ved sidste uges generalprøve forud for Tour de France. Men betyder det så, at vi bare skal give sejren til Pogacar på forhånd? Overhovedet ikke. Der er stadig mange områder, hvor Vingegaard kan finde et hul i verdensmesterens rustning. Og så kommer Brian Nygaard med en opsang til alle os, der har glemt hvor unik en situation vi står i som cykelnation. Han kan næsten alt. Men selv for Mathias Gidsel er der grænser. Den danske superstjerne måtte i weekenden se sig slået af landsmændene Damgaard og Saugstrup, da vinderen af Champions League skulle findes i Köln. Vi vender et Final 4, som var præget af overraskelser og ikke mindst røde kort. Danmarks mest hårdtslående brødrepar er kommet i stalden hos en af sportens helt store ikoner. Sebastian og Nikolai Terteryan har fået en kontrakt hos amerikanske Golden Boy, og med det skal de to amatørboksere nu ud på den største scene med alt, hvad der hører sig til: både at "snakke lort" og ikke mindst at drømme stort. Als je de beste drie ronderenners naast elkaar zet, is Evenepoel op het eerste gezicht de minste klimmer. Hoe leuk is het dan als hij in zijn specialiteit, de tijdrit, zo ongenadig hard uithaalt dat de sterkste bergop, Pogi, even twee keer moet slikken? En dat die andere uitdager, Vingegaard, er precies tussenin staat maakt het feest helemaal compleet. Is er dan nog een derde hond die het kegelspel kan uitspelen? C'est une semaine de feu qui nous attend sur les routes du Dauphiné. A moins d'un mois du départ du Tour de France, tous les cadors de la grande boucle se sont donnés et nous ont donné rendez-vous sur ce Critérium qui n'a jamais autant brillé qu'au départ de cette 77e édition. Pogacar, Vingegaard mais encore Evenepoel, Van der Poel et Romain Bardet pour sa dernière. Le casting est sublime et le spectacle devrait l'être tout autant. Un Dauphiné qui a d'ailleurs débuté sur les chapeaux de roue avec un sprint royal remporté non pas par les habituelles grosses cuisses du peloton mais par Pogi en personne qui s'est imposé devant Vingegaard. Niet gek, want over vier weken begint al de Tour de France 2025. Voor de wielerfans thuis op de bank biedt het twee weken lang dagelijks kijkplezier, maar de klimtijdrit op de slotdag in Zwitserland had - met het oog op de klimtijdrit in de Tour - toch een boel klassementsrenners kunnen trekken. Nu blokkeert ‘de vierde grote ronde ‘ (zoals men de Tour de Suisse ook wel noemt) een tweede hoogtestage richting de Tour. Het toptrio in het Critérium du Dauphiné kiest allemaal voor die weg. Mogelijk ook zonder kampioenschappen.Dat geldt tevens voor Mathieu van der Poel, die ondanks een breukje in zijn pols acte de présence geeft in de Dauphiné. De organisatie van het WK Gravel hoopt dat later dit jaar ook. Zuid-Limburg is op 11 en 12 oktober gastheer voor dat wereldkampioenschap; MVDP is titelverdediger in die discipline. Parcoursbouwer Bram Tankink ziet het alvast graag gebeuren. Woensdag werden de omlopen door Beek, Beekdaelen en Maastricht voorgesteld.
