Slovensko nutne potrebuje investovať do modernizácie školstva, zdravotníctva, dopravy či do vedy do inovácií. Dobiehať zameškané a zvýšiť našu životnú úroveň k priemeru Európskej únie. Peniaze by na to boli, no čerpať ich stále celkom nevieme. Ako teda rýchlejšie a lepšie čerpať európske miliardy, ak si to Ódorova vláda dáva ako prioritu?

I discuss the emerging clinical trial evidence for the use of psilocybin in the treatment of depression, addictions and other psychiatric challenges. I explain the typical duration and phases of a psilocybin journey, the different categories of dosages often used and I explain the importance of set, setting and support when using psychedelics. I explain which groups of people place themselves at great risk by taking psilocybin as well as groups that could benefit, and I highlight the rapidly changing legal and medical landscape around psilocybin. Huberman Lab Podcast Notes Key Takeaways Different hairs on your body have different lengths of growth phases (for example, hair on the head will grow for 2-8 years, and hair on the eyebrows will fall out every few months) The rate of hair growth is relatively stable across hair – what differs is the length of the growth phaseMicroneedling procedures, PRP injections, and Minoxidil all center around the general idea of increasing blood flow, increasing oxygen and delivery of nutrients, or increasing inflammation just enough locally to set off a cascade of regrowthCombination treatments that combine a mechanical stimulus (such as microneedling) with chemical stimulus (such as minoxidil) will always be better than either alone But be realistic, it's unlikely to grow a full head of hair again if you are baldPeople are highly individual in response and side effects to hair growth treatments – start with minimum effective dose and be patient with experimentation timeAndrogens (especially DHT) are potent inhibitors of IGF-1 and cyclic AMP which stimulate hair growthRead the full notes @ podcastnotes.orgIn this episode, I explain the biology of hair, hair growth, why hair growth slows and what cause hair to stop growing and/or “fall out.” I discuss the essential role of hair stem cells and other supporting biological factors for healthy hair growth. Then I describe various approaches (mechanical and chemical) to slow hair loss by increasing blood flow to hair stem cells, including minoxidil, tadalafil, PRP, microneedling, Botox and ketoconazole treatments. I also discuss how age-related hormone changes cause hair loss and explain the effectiveness of treatments such as caffeine, saw palmetto, growth hormone, finasteride and dutasteride. For all hair growth options, I describe potential side effects, how soon to expect results and the amount of hair regrowth to expect and I highlight effective combination treatments for hair regrowth even in hair “dead” (bald) zones. For many listeners, thinning, brittle hair, or pattern baldness are a source of anxiety and stress. This episode explains the mechanisms underlying hair regrowth tools and the science behind them so that you can evaluate potential treatments and associated side-effect profiles and select the best one(s) for you. This episode explains the mechanisms underlying hair regrowth tools and the science behind them so that you can evaluate potential treatments and associated side-effect profiles and select the best one(s) for you. Huberman Lab Podcast Notes Key Takeaways The dopamine system doesn't care about the specific goal or pursuit – it's about pursuing anything, healthy or notIf we expose regularly expose ourselves to things that trigger high levels of dopamine release, we will lower our baseline levels of dopamine over timeFrom a thought to action: desire for things increases dopamine, level of dopamine drops below baseline, drop below baseline triggers motivation to bring dopamine level back up by pursuing the thing you wanted in the first place You want to relieve the pain of not having that thingThree fundamentals of the dopamine system drive you toward learning: (1) desire – I want that; (2) motivation – drives you toward action; (3) reward or lack of rewardAddictions are the progressive narrowing of things that give us pleasure “It's both the duration between desire and effect (rewarding property of dopamine that are experienced) that teach the system to want and expect short gaps, which makes it hard to pursue things that take longer.” – Dr. Andew HubermanIf you enjoy an activity, protect that feeling by making sure you don't attach reward or other dopamine-releasing behaviors to that behavior If you stack too many dopamine-releasing things to something you already enjoy, you may experience less interest/desire/motivation to do that thingTo overcome procrastination: figure out something that sucks (but is safe) to steepen the trough which will bring you back to baseline dopamine faster For example cold shower/water immersion – this will remind your brain you can do hard thingsRead the full notes @ podcastnotes.orgIn this episode, I explain how dopamine dynamics — meaning changes and interactions between our baseline and peak levels of dopamine drive our cravings and sense of motivation. I also explain how to leverage dopamine dynamics to overcome procrastination. I cover behavioral, cognitive, nutrition-based and supplementation-based tools to optimize baseline and peak dopamine levels to ensure a persistently motivated state. I also discuss how to boost motivation when you are in a rut, why you might not want to stack behaviors/substances that spike dopamine and how build and maintain a “growth mindset” for pursuing goals of any kind. Dopamine is an incredibly powerful neuromodulator involved in basic functions (e.g., hunger, romantic attraction, etc.) and feats of cognitive and physical performance; by understanding the dynamics of dopamine, listeners ought to be better positioned to overcome procrastination, maintain motivation, and improve confidence. Najlepšieho z tých, ktorých sme mali, by som dal posledného - Vladimíra Lengvarského.

The 10-day event will be held in the charming town in North Queensland in 2024, with thousands of athletes from around the world expected to take part.   The World Triathlon Multisport Championships will see duathlon, long distance triathlon, long distance aquabike, aquathlon, cross triathlon and cross duathlon world championship races organized together during a week-long festival. This ground-breaking event now allows for athletes to compete in various multisport races, as opposed to electing only one each season. And participants can even vie for the Multisport Legend, a title reserved for those who compete in four events.   World Triathlon President and IOC member Marisol Casado said that the organisation was looking forward to heading to Townsville in 2024. “We are absolutely delighted to return to Queensland after such a long time without events in Australia, this time for one of our flagship events: the Multisport World Championships in Townsville,” she said. “Over the last years, Australia has become synonymous of triathlon on its multiple variations, and has proved to be a magnificent host for the triathlon family, playing host to some truly memorable performances and great champions, staging races the results of which have helped shape the path of entire seasons.   “Being able to hold these important races in one fantastic location and all under the banner of one festival has proved to be hugely beneficial for athletes, spectators and media alike, allowing the global World Triathlon family the opportunity to gather together for a true celebration of the sport, and we are extremely excited to head to Townsville in 2024,” she said.   Member for Townsville Scott Stewart said the Multisport World Championships cemented Townsville's place as the sporting events capital of northern Australia. “I'm looking forward to seeing the Multisport World Championships come to life here in the North, bringing together thousands of elite and age-group athletes,” Mr Stewart said. “The Palaszczuk Government is proud to support the Multisport World Championships because we understand the importance of events to local jobs and Townsville's visitor economy.   “This event is great news for North Queensland tourism operators, accommodation and transport providers, and local retailers,” he said. “It's also a golden opportunity for competitors and spectators to build extra time into their stay to explore Townsville's amazing tourism and Indigenous cultural experiences, world-class dining, the reef, and breathtaking tropical islands and rainforests.”   Mayor Jenny Hill said the Townsville City Council and the wider community was looking forward to welcoming the Multisport World Championships to the city.   “Hosting this event is a real coup of Townsville and further reinforces our city's reputation as the events capital of Northern Australia,” Cr Hill said. “With our beautiful natural environment and ideal weather, I can think of no better place for the world's best athletes to test their skills and endurance.   “The championships will also provide a platform to promote our city and region to the world, which will boost our tourism industry for years to come.”   Miles Stewart OAM OLY, Triathlon Australia CEO, welcomed news that the event would be held in Townsville in 2024. “This is fantastic news for triathlon and multisport in Australia, and for our members who have been anticipating, and looking forward to racing and officiating at these world championships on home soil,” said Stewart. “We're expecting our largest Australian representative team on record for Townsville 2024 with seven championships on the schedule from cross-triathlon, aquathlon to long course.   “The festival format will mean athletes can race across multiple disciplines on multiple days, which is really exciting, and will be a great boost for Australian events with athletes racing to qualify for a spot on the team from 2023,” he said. “Australia has some of the best triathlon events in the world, and we can't wait to welcome the world's best to Townsville, and continue to build on our legacy of hosting world-class events.   Official dates for the Townsville Multisport World Championships will be announced in the near future.   The World Triathlon Multisport Championships made its debut in the World Triathlon calendar in 2017 in Penticton (Canada), a successful event that was followed by Fyn (Denmark) in 2018 and Pontevedra (Spain) in 2019. After the event being cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, in 2021 the races were held in multiple locations (Almere, El Anillo and Aviles). In 2022 the event will travel to Romania and Slovakia, and will return to the original format of all races in one location during a 10-day festival in Ibiza (Spain) in 2023 and Townsville (Australia) in 2024.   https://www.townsvillenorthqueensland.com.au/events/product-events/?world-triathlon-multisport--championship-59e59f8fc18adcc63caa2e39#:~:text=01%20Jan%202024%20%2D%2005%20Oct,age%20group%20and%20para%2Dtriathletes.     USA TRIATHLON ANNOUNCES 2023 STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS CALENDAR COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Triathlon today unveiled the dates and locations for the 2023 Age Group,  Club, and High School State Championships, a robust calendar of local, USA Triathlon sanctioned events that give adult and high school athletes around the country the opportunity to race for state titles and qualify for USA Triathlon Nationals, the annual event that requires qualification and brings together the best U.S. amateur triathletes for the Sprint- and Olympic-Distance National Championships.   “It's never too early to plan your race season, and as athletes look ahead to the 2023 calendar, I encourage all triathletes, from the experienced to the newbie, to race in your State Championship next year,” said Victoria Brumfield, USA Triathlon CEO. “Local races in our communities exemplify the spirit and fun of our sport and each State Championship is organized by our dedicated, passionate local race directors who produce first-class events.”   State Championships are open to all triathletes, as no qualification is required to compete. State Championships include a non-drafting Sprint- and Olympic-distance race for age group athletes, as well as a High School State Championship division in the Sprint-distance race.   High school athletes — experienced and newcomers alike — and high school triathlon clubs are encouraged to race their High School State Championship. All high school athletes who finish a High School State Championship race will automatically qualify for the Sprint-Distance National Championships at USA Triathlon Nationals, scheduled for Aug. 4-6 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.   New for 2023, all state championships will also serve as the Club State Championships for age group and high school clubs. Club members around the country are encouraged to race at their local state championship to earn the designation of top club in the state and win the club state champion banner from USA Triathlon!   Many state championships in 2023 will also offer separate events as part of the Splash and Dash Youth Aquathlon (swim-run) series geared towards encouraging youth participation in multisport. Splash and Dash events offer a low barrier to entry for children and their parents with a 100 or 200-meter swim and a 1 km or 2 km run. As a swim-run event, there is no bike portion, and no bike is required. Finishers of events in the Splash and Dash series will receive unique finisher medal from USA Triathlon. Check with your local state championship on details of their Splash and Dash. The full 2023 Splash and Dash series schedule will be released in the coming weeks.   Adult athletes racing at State Championships have increased odds to qualify for Sprint- and Olympic-Distance National Championships at USA Triathlon Nationals. State Championships qualify the top 35 percent, or top five finishers in each age group (whichever is greater) for the 2023 or 2024 Sprint and Olympic-Distance Nationals. Normal qualification criteria at any USA Triathlon-sanctioned triathlon of any distance is the top two, or 15 percent, of an athlete's age group (whichever is greater).   State Championships held after June 1, 2023 will qualify athletes for both the 2023 and 2024 USA Triathlon Nationals. 2023 USA Triathlon Nationals is scheduled for Aug. 4-6 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.     What's New in the 303:   Local Tris - Upcoming Race Price Increases 6/10 - Boulder 70.3 Price Increase 2/12 6/24 - Lake to Lake Price Increase 2/16 Olympic INDIVIDUAL ENTRY Dec. 11 – Feb. 15 — $115 Feb. 16 – April 30 — $125 May 1 – June 23 — $135   Sprint INDIVIDUAL ENTRY Dec. 11 – Feb. 15 — $85 Feb. 16 – April 30 — $95 May 1 – June 23 — $100   7/9 - Peak Olympic Triathlon Individual: $120 until 1/1 $130 until 4/1, $140 until 7/9 at midnight   Tri Boulder July 22nd, 2023 Sprint Tri $110.00 Olympic Tri $135.00     Video of the week:   Jens Voigt at the Old Man Winter Bike Rally Feb 6 2023     Closing: Thanks again for listening in this week.  Please be sure to follow us @303endurance and of course go to iTunes and give us a rating and a comment.  We'd really appreciate it! Ocenenie Vedec roka za 25 rokov žiadna žena. Je to napriek tomu, že vo výskume je 40 percent žien. Ocenenie čelí kritike 200 vedcov a vedkýň, ktorí žiadajú anketu premenovať, a chceli by, aby volo férovejšie. Huberman Lab Podcast Notes Key Takeaways Creativity stems from neural structures in the brain that can be accessed in a certain sequence to spark creativity in different domains of lifeTruly creative acts are novel combinations of some things that reveal a fundamental feature about how our brain or the real world workCreativity captivates us because it's useful in some way – just coming up with a novel combination of things (like wings on a fish tank) is not inherently creativeIf you want to be creative, you need to seek out and forage for information about existing rules – you can't break rules unless you know themKey elements of creativity: (1) divergent thinking – brainstorming, exploring ideas – taking one stimulus and radiating out thoughts, events, and concepts from that thing; (2) convergent thinking – taking loose ideas and synthesizing them into a specific framework or coherent idea(s) To enhance divergent thinking try 5 minutes of open monitoring meditation: sit with eyes closed and just let thoughts flow in and outTo enhance convergent thinking try 5 minutes of focused attention monitoring: sit with eyes closed or open and focus on a specific object, sound, pointSkip the caffeine to enhance divergent thinking, consume caffeine to enhance convergent thinkingRead the full notes @ podcastnotes.orgIn this episode, I explain how the brain engages in creative thinking and, based on that mechanistic understanding, the tools to improve one's ability to think creatively and innovate in any area. I discuss how convergent and divergent thinking are essential for generating creative ideas and provide three types of meditation tools (open monitoring meditation, focused attention meditation & non-sleep deep rest; NSDR), which improve our ability to engage in these creative thinking patterns in specific and powerful ways. I also discuss how dopamine and mood contribute to the creative process and describe behavioral, nutritional and supplementation-based approaches for increasing dopamine to engage in creative thought and implementation. I explain how movement and storytelling (narrative) approaches can generate novel creative ideas and how substances like alcohol, cannabis, and psilocybin impact our creative ability. Excitingly, creativity is a skill that can be cultivated and enhanced; this episode outlines many tools to help anyone access creativity and apply creative patterns of thought to different domains of life. Huberman Lab Podcast Notes Key Takeaways The timing and length of puberty have long-term effects on height, stature, and body composition; early and short puberty can lead to a shorter heightIf money isn't an issue, get blood work for hormones and lipids done around age 18 – measure testosterone sex hormone binding globulin or free testosteronePorn and masturbation can limit libido in the real world, even once per day is detrimental to hormones (not to mention the dopamine system)Topical DHT receptor antagonists may be a better choice for men who want to maintain or grow their hair with fewer side effects You can also try topical caffeine, topical spironolactone (if prescribed), or topical finasterideLifestyle changes to improve fertility in males: no tight-fitting clothing, cold shower or cold plunge, no sauna use                You may want to avoid drinking from cans or plastics with BPA – there is evidence it negatively impacts sperm count and fertility     What to avoid for hormone optimization: smoking cannabis or tobacco, alcohol in excess of 3-4 drinks every two weeks, too much-seated cyclingThere are tons of ways to improve testosterone through lifestyle! Try exercise, a well-rounded diet (not a carnivore, not vegan – especially in teens), adequate sleep, ample vitamin D, avoiding porn, managing stressRead the full notes @ podcastnotes.orgMy guest is Kyle Gillett, MD, a dual board-certified physician in family medicine and obesity medicine and an expert in optimizing hormone levels to improve overall health. We discuss how to optimize male hormones using a range of nutritional and behavioral tools, exercise, and supplementation (including discussions on tongkat ali, fadogia agrestis, creatine, peptides and more). We explain how puberty and aging affect hormone levels, how to use bloodwork to monitor hormone levels, how hormone health impacts fertility, libido, hair loss, and prostate health, and describe behaviors that negatively impact testosterone levels. We also discuss how to approach prescription hormone therapies, including which biomarkers to monitor when using these approaches and how to optimize synergistic hormones (e.g., growth hormone and thyroid hormone) to support complete hormone health safely and rationally. Dr. Gillett offers numerous actionable tools that can be tailored to specific goals and age ranges to attain and maintain optimal levels of male hormones for overall health, well-being and longevity.  Thank you to our sponsors AG1 (Athletic Greens): https://athleticgreens.com/huberman Thesis: https://takethesis.com/huberman ROKA: https://www.roka.com/huberman Helix Sleep: https://helixsleep.com/huberman InsideTracker: https://www.insidetracker.com/huberman Supplements from Momentous https://www.livemomentous.com/huberman For the full show notes, visit hubermanlab.com Timestamps (00:00:00) Dr. Kyle Gillett & Male Hormone Optimization (00:03:40) Thesis, ROKA, Helix Sleep, Momentous (00:07:43) Puberty: Height, Resistance Training, Childhood Obesity (00:15:14) “First” vs. “Second” Puberty (00:17:17) Hormone Optimization & Blood Work (00:22:14) Diet, Exercise, Sleep & Hormones (00:28:23) Hormones, Stress, Social Connection & Purpose (00:32:19) Hormones, Supplementation & Medication (00:34:08) Determining Individual Hormone Levels, ADAM Questionnaire (00:40:35) Libido, Masturbation, Pornography & the Dopamine “Wave Pool” (00:48:32) AG1 (Athletic Greens) (00:49:46) Sustainable Exercise Regimen for Hormone Health (00:58:12) Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) (01:01:02) Supplementation: Creatine & Hair Loss, Betaine, L-Carnitine & Allicin (Garlic) (01:11:45) Vitamin D, Boron; SHBG & Free Testosterone (01:15:34) InsideTracker (01:16:39) Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma longifolia; Longjack) & Steroid Pathways (01:22:09) Fadogia Agrestis & Testosterone  (01:26:32) Optimize Growth Hormone & IGF-1: Diet, Fasting, Supplements & Exercise  (01:31:52) Optimize Thyroid Hormone: Iodine & Goitrogens (01:33:56) Peptides: Growth Hormone, Tesamorelin, Ibutamoren & Gut Microbiome (01:42:06) Testosterone Therapy (01:47:03) Prescriptions & Hormones: Human Choriogonadotropin (HCG), Clomiphene (01:52:56) Testosterone Therapy + HCG, Fertility & Temperature (01:55:30) Hormone Health Q&A: Marijuana, Nicotine, Cycling, Pelvic Floor, Alcohol, Fat (02:06:08) Prostate Health & Tadalafil, Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) (02:09:56) Hair Loss & DHT; Turmeric & Curcuminoids (02:18:13) BPAs, Phthalates & Hormone Health (02:21:55) Zero-Cost Support, YouTube Feedback, Spotify & Apple Reviews, Sponsors, Social Media, Momentous, Neural Network Newsletter Disclaimer Title Card Photo Credit: Mike Blabac

Pád vlády, rekonštrukcia vlády, úradnícka vláda alebo predčasné voľby? Čo nás teraz čaká a o čom rokujú vládni či opoziční politici? Ako dopadne návrh SaS na odvolanie vlády? Bude napokon Hegerova vláda vládnuť s podporou demokratov a liberálov alebo bývalých Kotlebových poslancov? Rozhodnutie je presunuté na štvrtok podvečer. Braňo Závodský sa rozprával s poslancom parlamentu a predsedom strany Spolu Miroslavom Kollárom a poslancom Občiansko-demokratickej platformy OĽANO Kristiánom Čekovským.

Huberman Lab Podcast Notes Key Takeaways Caffeine is not just a stimulant, it's a strong reinforcer that subconsciously drives behavior – caffeine (tasteless) added to anything will give you a preference for that thing, this applies to behavior, food, companyCaffeine increases dopamine and acetylcholine in the forebrain which improves the ability to think, adjust to mental and physical demandsCaffeine increases the number of dopamine receptors in the reward pathway of the brainCaffeine acts as an antagonist to adenosine which offsets sleepiness in the first half of the dayDelay caffeine intake 90-120 minutes after waking (unless doing intense exercise) to fight off afternoon sleepiness Tip #1: If this sounds impossible at first, delay in 15-minute increments until you hit 90 minutes+Tip #2: If you can't wait, drink half of the caffeine when you wake up and the other half a couple of hours laterDoes caffeine make you jittery? Consume at least an equal volume of water or electrolyte drink with caffeine to offsetTo extract more benefits from caffeine (assuming you already delay intake): (1) Consume on an empty stomach if you can tolerate it; (2) Abstain from caffeine for 2-5 days then resume; (3) Half your amount of caffeine intake for a period of time then resumeRead the full notes @ podcastnotes.orgIn this episode, I explain how to use caffeine to enhance mental and physical health and performance, including the optimal dosages and intake schedules for caffeine. I explain how caffeine powerfully reinforces the consumption of certain foods and drinks—thereby increasing how much we like their tastes and seek them out. I discuss the mechanisms by which caffeine increases focus, alertness and mood and reduces sleepiness. I also explain many practical tools for caffeine use, including delaying caffeine intake after waking, intermittent caffeine use, during fasting, before and during exercise, and the use of theanine to curb jitters caused by caffeine. I also discuss the positive effects of caffeine on overall health and longevity and address several myths about caffeine. Since caffeine is one of the most commonly used substances (more than 90% of adults use caffeine daily!), this episode provides actionable tips for adjusting caffeine consumption to positively impact performance and health, including sleep.
