Not walking away. Not going cold. Not pretending we do not care. But staying close without taking over.It came up for me while talking with my daughter, noticing how quickly I wanted to jump in with answers, advice, solutions and opinions. And I could see the same thing in myself, in council meetings, in family conversations, and even in the way I meet my own thoughts and feelings. Something arises and I want to fix it before I have really heard it.But space is not neglect. Real space says: I am here. I trust you. Take your time.In this episode, I explore why the instinct to help is not wrong, but why fixing too quickly can sometimes be about easing our own discomfort. We look at the small pause after a feeling appears, the gap between notes in music, the three seconds before we answer, and the strange wisdom that often appears when we stop crowding the moment.Key topics:Why giving space is not the same as walking awayThe urge to fix the people we love, especially our childrenHow a few seconds of pause can let wisdom appearThoughts, feelings and body sensations that do not need an instant storyThe gap between the notes, and why space gives life meaningCouncil meetings, family tables, and the need to prove we know somethingAsking whether we are helping or reducing our own discomfortThe three second rule for conversations, emotions and difficult momentsCompanion meditation: IPM 105, Giving Space. A gentle Zen influenced meditation using the image of a closed shed and an open field to feel the difference between being crowded by what arises and giving it room to be seen clearly. If this episode meant something to you, please share it, leave a review, or treat me to a coffee: stevenwebb.ukWith thanks this week to: Cheryl, Nitya, Yvonne, Eleanor and Ryan, Karen, Lani, Jess and Stuart. And thank you to the kind anonymous souls and everyone who supports the work quietly in the background.

| Nitya pochodzi z serwisu Each One Teach One Michał Vasquez Plewniak.

What if the future of regenerative agriculture won't be decided in Europe… but in India, Africa, and the Global South? In this powerful Deep Seed mini-episode, we sit down with Professor Nitya Rao, leading gender and climate researcher and contributor to the Lancet Commission on Food Systems, to explore a perspective we rarely hear in the regenerative agriculture movement.Because here's the uncomfortable truth:
Sales doesn't have to feel pushy, awkward, or inauthentic. In fact, according to sales and communication expert Nitya Kirat, great selling has nothing to do with persuasion tactics and everything to do with trust. In this episode, Nitya, CEO of YOSD Consulting, shares why the best salespeople ask the best questions, how to simplify your messaging so people actually understand what you do, and why rushing the sales process is costing you more than you realize. We dive into emotional intelligence, knowing yourself as a seller, overcoming money stories, and creating a consistent sales process that works, even in uncertain economic times. If you've ever said “I hate sales” or struggled to convert great conversations into paying clients, this episode will completely shift how you think about selling.
Als Spezialgast dabei in Folge zwei: T&A Boss Willi Schlögl. Frohes Fest! Cc Madhya 11.49-126 https://vedabase.io/en/library/cc/madhya/11/advanced-view/ ------------------------------------------------------------ In this context, there is a way in which Kṛṣṇa describes to Uddhava in the Eleventh Canto of Śrīmad Bhāgavatam that the soul is never really liberated from the material world, because it was never bound in the first place. There is no liberation unless you are actually bound to the material world. "Asaṅgo hi ayaṁ puruṣaḥ" — the living entity never had anything to do with it in the first place. So he is never really connected with it. This idea of "now he's liberated" is a misnomer. Kṛṣṇa says that — plain and clear. And so, you know, being more liberal with the idea of Nitya-siddha, if you go to the other side of the spectrum and you understand that those who are fully engaged with Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu in service, they have nothing to do with the material world anymore, and they have assumed their original condition, which is nitya-siddha. It's also described how there are sādhana-siddhas, there are kṛpā-siddhas, and there are nitya-siddhas. And in most places, there is special consideration for the nitya-siddhas because they never touched the material world in the first place. But.. as Prabhupāda writes, "Siddha is siddha," whether it's sādhana-siddha or kṛpā-siddha or nitya-siddha. 'Siddha means siddha.' Sometimes people argue over this and say, "Yeah, but that guy's a sādhana-siddha or whatever." But siddha is siddha. Besides that, you're a soul; you never touched the material world in the first place. So, I think these purports are absolutely charming and encouraging, because it's what the devotees feel when they join the Kṛṣṇa Consciousness Movement, Lord Caitanya's movement. It's so potent! Why wouldn't you feel completely liberated, because of being fully engaged in the Saṅkīrtana movement? ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #sricaitanyacaritamrita #govardhanreadings #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

Last week we spoke with Aditi and Nitya from Para about interoperability from the user's lens, and this week, in our second episode of Between Two Chains, we speak with Jill Gunter from Espresso about interoperability from the other lens: builders. Jill dives deep into the intricate dynamics of composability and interoperability, how infra builders need to emphasize user experience to move forward, and the state of Ethereum, the ecosystem's incentives, and the importance of staying user-centric while building decentralized applications. Between Two Chains is a four-part miniseries produced by Rehash and co-hosted by LayerZero, where we explore whether blockchain interoperability is solved. ⏳ TIMESTAMPS: 0:00 Intro 08:30 The importance of composability 18:19 Composability in infra 21:17 The developer vs user communication gap 32:51 The importance of interoperability 37:13 Follow Jill

Today I bring you you a warm and wholesome conversation with the incomparable Nitya Satheesh. She's had a fascinating journey within the wildlife space and has contributed to a slew of disciplines within the field, but most notably in the environmental education sector. We recorded this episode a while ago while she was a Senior Program Manager at the Centre for Wildlife Studies for several years, primarily working on every aspect of their flagship Wild Shaale conservation education program. She is now the Head of Engagement at the Echo Network that brings nuanced science to a vast range of audiences and collaborators to tackle real-world problems in human and environmental spaces. Nitya has been a mentor, a friend, a colleague and confidante ever since I started my first proper job in this field, and this episode was my selfish way to reconnecting with a beautiful soul who I've dearly missed - I hope you learn from her as I have in all these years!
The Personified Vedas say in their prayers to the Lord that this is your greatest pastime, the way you extend yourself to the living beings in this world. And so the attitude and the order. If we pick up an order from the Lord and take it seriously and apply it, especially the order of how to assist him in saving conditioned souls, then Haridas Thakur said, we just want to alleviate your anxiety. And Prabhupada comments there that this is the best kind of service, is to alleviate the anxiety of the Lord. Some souls are lost here in the material energy, and we give them an opportunity to come out. And when we apply these two things, attitude, what's the first thing? Yeah, do anybody here have an attitude. Say, Yes, do your senses have an attitude? Mine do. I describe it as entitlement.I feel entitled to that. It's like no. I really think I should have that. And like no, we can't have it now, or ever. The second is order. If you just take these two principles, two ingredients, and you put them together, then you have a perfect life following the footsteps of Lord Nityananda. And magic happens wherever you go. You turn a boring drudgery of the material world into a festival wherever you go. And it's hilarious fun as Lord Nityananda, he's also funny, and his name Nityananda means he's always having fun. There's never a time when he doesn't have fun. And the only reason I don't have fun, at a certain point I get bored is because of two things, one is attitude and second one is order. And if I just come back to attitude and order, and I adjust them according to Lord Nityananda, then fun, fun, fun - Nitya, ananda! Nityananda is just fun from beginning to end. There's nothing to impede our fun. And the greatest fun of all is to go out as a representative, follow the order and in the attitude of Lord Nityananda, of bringing souls back to Krishna. And how much can you do that? Śamyāprāsa is smiling. How much can you do it Śamyāprāsa? Birds fly as high as they can in the sky. You can do it always. You can do it always and everywhere. That's why Lord Caitanya said 'yāre dekha, tāre kaha ‘kṛṣṇa'-upadeśa, āmāra ājñāya guru hañā tāra' ei deśa' (CC Madhya 7.128). That means world's open for business if you have the right attitude and you have the order, and if you follow the order.
