Michael Cohen testifies before House Oversight Committee. How can we take this guy seriously at this point? Drops litany of accusations against Trump: Racist, Cheat, Fraud, Con-Man. But saw no direct evidence of Russian Collusion — which is what this entire thing was supposed to be about. Cohen blames the “intoxication of Trump Tower” for his own bad decisions. Lied to Congress. A story from our vacation. Rental car debacle. Hertz was terrible, but Enterprise did a great job. Trump walks out of North Korean Summit in Hanoi, Vietnam — but still seemingly optimistic about future. “Much rather do it right than do it fast.”

Also what will be next with Mike Pence and what will the democrats bring to the table for the next General elections and lets make room for women. He discusses Russia's interference in the 2016 election, the now infamous intelligence meeting with President-elect Trump at Trump Tower, and why he believes that Russia’s efforts successfully tipped the election for Donald Trump. President Trump’s historic summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un was a very significant step as the two leaders seek to bridge the wide chasm that has separated the two nations since the cessation of hostilities on the Korean Peninsula almost 65 years ago. While the world made much of the handshake and the photo op between President Trump and Kim Jong-Un, our focus should really be on the hard work that comes now … in the wake of their meeting. North Korea agreed to engage in complete denuclearization, but will we be able to both verify their actions and ensure they cannot restart their nuclear weapons program? These are important questions that remain to be answered. We should all hope and pray for success. And the recent summit was a huge step forward. But we should also recognize that a difficult and long road lies ahead. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

What are the ramifications of the sudden termination of the planned meeting between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un? What factors led to the cancellation and has the door been permanently closed on a diplomatic solution to the North Korean nuclear problem? Will North Korea abandon its moratorium and resume nuclear and missile tests and escalate tension on the Korean Peninsula. Will there be a resumption of advocacy for a U.S. preventive military attack on North Korea? As Pyongyang, Seoul, Beijing, and Washington engaged in summit diplomacy, Japan had been the neglected partner. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe had established the closest relationship with President Trump of any world leader but then seemed ignored during the summit mania. Does the U.S.-North Korea summit cancellation vindicate Abe’s firm approach to Pyongyang or has there been lasting impact on his political strength as well as Japan’s relationship with the United States?Join us as two panels of distinguished experts discuss these and other topics as well as make recommendations for U.S. policy in the uncertain time ahead.
