Brew City wastes no time throwing its first beer-focused challenge at the Season 21 field. Nobody seems excited about cooking with hops in the Quickfire challenge, but the chefs who go sweet win favor with guest judge, Top Chef champion, and Friend of PYK, Joe Flamm. The chefs then split into teams to prepare a progressive dinner in the historic Miller Caves of dishes inspired by salty bar snacks — which Tom and Kevin rank. The team with more fine-dining, tweezer-head chefs struggles against their opponents, whose sensibilities are more rustic. Chociaż długo mnie nie było w podcastowym eterze, to muszę przyznać, że tęskniłem za procesem przygotowania, produkcji i postprodukcji podcastu. A jako psycholog sportu, lubię proces i ufam procesowi. Taki branżowy żarcik. Dzisiaj wypuszczam odcinek o tematyce mocno istotnej dla współczesnej psychologii sportu. Będzie o terapii akceptacji i zaangażowania. ACT, z angielskiego acceptance and commitment therapy. To terapia należąca do tzw. nurtu trzeciej fali terapii poznawczo-behawioralnych. Czym jest ACT i te wszystkie fale dowiedziecie z odcinka. Teraz powiem tylko tyle, że to podejście mocno zrewolucjonizowało moje myślenie o pracy z umysłem człowieka-sportowca. Pierwszą styczność z tym tematem miałem na konferencji ENYSSP w Goteborgu w 2013 roku. Tam właśnie poznałem Kristoffera Henriksena. Teraz już trzeba powiedzieć profesora Henriksena. Jako wykładowca plenarny opowiadał tam o tym, w jaki sposób psychologowie pracujący przy duńskim komitecie olimpijskim budowali swoją tożsamość i testowali różne strategie pracy psychologicznej w sporcie. Po igrzyskach w Londynie w Team Danmark zaczęło dominować podejście trzeciofalowe i tak jest do dziś. ACT zainspirował mnie wtedy tak mocno, że zacząłem się dokształcać w tym kierunku. Czytałem książki, robiłem różne kursy głównie online. W ten sposób wzbogacałem swoją metodykę pracy psychologicznej w sporcie. W zeszłym roku skończyłem studia podyplomowe z ACT na Humanitasie w Sosnowcu. Organizatorem i jednym z wykładowców na tych studiach był psychoterapeuta Bartosz Kleszcz. Usłyszycie go dzisiaj w odcinku. Oprócz studiów podyplomowych Bartek prowadzi także edukacyjny portal Uczę Się ACT oraz czteroletnią szkołę psychoterapii opartej na ACT behawioralnie.pl Bartek odpowiada m.in. takie pytania: Na czym polegają działania trzeciofalowe w szeroko rozumianych interwencjach psychologicznych? Co charakteryzuje ACT? Gdzie leżą podobieństwa, a gdzie różnice w stosunku do innych działań poznawczo-behawioralnych? Jak wyglądało twoje pierwsze spotkanie z trzecią falą i ACT-em? Co ciebie w tym podejściu zauroczyło, co zaciekawiło, a co odrzuciło albo zbiło z tropu? Jak wygląda natura umysłu człowieka według podejścia trzeciej fali? Co jest najczęściej przedmiotem pracy psychologicznej? Obecnie obserwujemy dosyć mocny trend w psychologii sportu, czy też szerzej w psychologii wykonania, który popularyzuje działania trzeciofalowe, w tym także ACT-owe w sporcie. W jaki sposób ACT może być użyteczny dla sportowców, trenerów i innych ludzi związanych z tym środowiskiem? Jak w kontekście treningowym? Jak w kontekście terapeutycznym? Heksafleks i sześć procesów elastyczności psychologicznej – krótkie omówienie z przykładami, być może także z odniesieniami do sportu. Użyteczność trifleksa – otwórz się, bądź obecny i rób to co należy. To jest bardzo atrakcyjne z perspektywy sportowca. Możemy podać też przykłady ćwiczeń, które mogą okazać się pomocne w każdym z procesów? Przykłady smsów od zawodników. Dla kogo nie jest ACT? Dlaczego? Wiele osób odtrącało podejście pracy psychologicznej opartą o uważność ze względu na potencjalnie silny komponent filozofii, a być może nawet religii dalekiego wschodu takiej jak buddyzm czy konfucjonizm. Czy mógłbyś się do tego odnieść? Jak ACT popatrzy na nazwę podcastu Głowa Rządzi?  Co warto czytać o ACT? Dla psychologów, dla nie psychologów? Gdzie się dokształcać? Mam nadzieję, że ten podcast pozwoli Wam dowiedzieć się czegoś więcej na temat ACT-u i zainspiruje do dalszych poszukiwań w tym kierunku. Po polsku jest coraz więcej publikacji na ten temat. Choć kontekst nie jest sportowy, to można z nich wyciągnąć wiele wartościowych lekcji i konkretnych narzędzi. Takim przykładem może być książka Russa Harrisa pt. „Zderzenie z rzeczywistością” wydana niedawno nakładem Gdańskiego Wydawnictwa Psychologicznego. Można tę książkę kupić w księgarni, pożyczyć od koleżanki, albo wygrać w konkursie w podcaście Głowa Rządzi. Właśnie ogłaszam ten konkurs! Co trzeba zrobić, żeby wygrać książkę? Trzeba opracować slogan, hasło albo powiedzonko, które będzie oddawało ducha ACT w sporcie. Swoją propozycję wystarczy przesłać przez mnedia społecznościowe Głowa Rządzi w terminie do końca lipca 2023r. Wspólnie z Bartkiem wybierzemy zwycięzcę i obdarujemy go książką. Pyk, myk!
