Schneider Electric First in Industry to Obtain Higher Level Cybersecurity Certification for EcoStruxure IT DCIM Solutions IEC 62443-4-2 SL2 certification provides higher level of protection against cyberthreats for EcoStruxureTM IT Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) solutions Independent certification process features rigorous testing and assessment Network Management Card 3 (NMC3) only network management card to obtain this level of encryption and robustness Cybersecurity Certification for EcoStruxure Schneider Electric, the leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, today announced an industry first: its EcoStruxure IT Network Management Card 3 (NMC3) platform has obtained a new and higher level of cybersecurity certification, making it the first Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) network card to achieve IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 (SL2) designation from the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). TÜV Rheinland, one of the world's largest and leading testing providers, has independently certified the NMC3 platform, ensuring vendor products designed for data centre and distributed IT environments meet a set of well-defined security requirements and undergo thorough testing and assessment. This new and higher level of cybersecurity certification underscores Schneider Electric's commitment to leading the industry in secure operations and better protects against cyberthreats. SL2 certification provides more stringent requirements and increased security resiliency than SL1, which was obtained last year. In addition to the new standard, TÜV Rheinland has certified Schneider Electric and the cybersecurity processes used to develop our products, including the NMC3, as ISASecure Secure Development Lifecycle Assurance (SDLA) compliant. The NMC3 is embedded in the majority of Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure IT DCIM products and provides a robust, remotely accessible management application over the network for critical power and cooling infrastructure. "According to the 2024 Allianz Risk Barometer, cyber incidents are ranked as the number one business concern. At an average reported cost of more than $4 million an incident, we understand why cybersecurity tops the priority list for CIOs," said Kevin Brown, SVP for EcoStruxure IT, Data Centre Business, Schneider Electric. "With the IEC 62443-4-2 SL2 and ISASecure SDLA cybersecurity certifications, Schneider Electric is leading the industry with this dual certification helping to reduce risks to critical infrastructure." Simplifying the process of installing firmware Companies are challenged to keep up with firmware updates. Many enterprise customers manage their critical power and cooling infrastructure with their own in-house management tools, third-party network management tools, or building management systems. These systems don't know when the firmware at your connected endpoints - particularly in distributed and edge environments - requires an update. The EcoStruxure IT Secure NMC System offers improved embedded firmware management thanks to a new dedicated tool. The Secure NMC System Tool transforms the cumbersome process of researching and installing the latest firmware on all devices, making the process up to 90% faster. Users no longer need to search for firmware on an ad hoc basis, check to see if that firmware is the latest one for your device, and read the release notes to understand what's included in the new version before they download it and update their device. Instead, the Secure NMC System Tool notifies customers that new firmware is available and directs them to install the new version. The benefits of the Secure NMC System include: 1. Eliminate fear of becoming outdated: Simplifies firmware management, making it up to 90% faster and reducing risk. 2. Achieve consistent compliance: Customers have a systematic, standardised approach to cybersecurity updates for their critical power and cooling infrastructure...

State League 2 Head Coach, Matt Gaston found himself in the top job at Salisbury United after an interesting career which saw him spending time away from football to help recover from a diagnosis which eventually lead him to joining the Defence Force. He soon enough found his way back to football, playing interstate before venturing abroad, where he featured in the early stages of the FA Cup against a familiar English team lead by a well known Irish footballer at the time. His return home saw him find his way into coaching, getting his breakthrough at Salisbury after making a tough choice to leave Adelaide Uni in a pivotal time of the season. Matt also talks about his ambitions to help the club win promotion back into the SL1 and his reasoning behind putting this ambition ahead of a massive Cup game against NPL outfit, Adelaide City.

Welcome to The Nonlinear Library, where we use Text-to-Speech software to convert the best writing from the Rationalist and EA communities into audio. This is: EAGxBoston: Updates and Info from the Organizing Team, published by Kaleem on March 11, 2022 on The Effective Altruism Forum. TLDR: All you need to know about EAGxBoston - It's going to be awesome ! Also: If you would like to nominate a friend or colleague to present at EAGxBoston, or have presented at an EAG(x) before and would like to do so at EAGxBoston, please email us at boston@eaglobalx.org (edit: the email address above only got corrected at 1pm EST on the 11th of March - if you were trying to email us before that, we apologize and kindly ask you to resend your email to the corrected address) Intro EAGxBoston will be taking place from 6pm on Friday the 1st of April until 8pm on Sunday the 3rd of April. We're very excited about how big, exciting, and high quality this conference is shaping up to be—we are prepared to welcome up to 1,000 attendees and it's looking possible that we'll actually be doing that. If this is your first time attending an EA conference (or even if you have attended one before but perhaps didn't take preparation seriously) we suggest reading these excellent posts about how to get ready for an EA conference. We're also still eager to expand our team of pre-event and on-the-day volunteers (it'll be fun and impactful) ! There are lots of other ways to engage with other attendees before the event: there is an #eagxboston-2022 channel on the Groups Slack, there is this WhatsApp group, there are EA Facebook pages, and the Swapcard app (launching soon!). The applications for EAGxBoston close on the 21st of March. Dates and times In case you missed this somehow, the conference is happening from the 1st to 3rd of April 2022. We hope to make the detailed schedule of sessions at the conference available soon, through the Swapcard app. In the meantime, we can tell you generally that there will be an opening reception and career fair/internship fair/academic program fair from 6-9pm on the 1st of April, and that the conference will be open from 8am-8pm on the 2nd and 3rd, but we will try to have the majority of programming fall between 10am and 6pm. Location The conference will be happening at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC) located at 415 Summer St, Boston, MA 02210, in Boston's Seaport District. There are multiple ways to get to the venue: You can use the MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority)'s Red Line or Silver Line, or the 4, 7, or 11 bus, depending where you are starting from. If you're using the red line, South Station is the closest station to BCEC (~10min / ~1.1km/ ~0.7mile walk). Broadway station is also close (~12min / ~1.4km / ~0.9mile walk). If you use the silver line, the SL1, SL2, SL3, and SLW all stop right next to BCEC. Venue info If you've looked at BCEC online or via maps, you'd have noticed that it's basically the size of a small airport. We will be using the entirety of one side of the second floor—that is to say, we have loads of space. In addition to the massive amount of meeting (and eating) space, you can also walk around the rest of the interior of BCEC, or around its exterior perimeter. What there'll be in the venue Coat check Quiet space 2 large one-on-one spaces with >100 2-person tables General session space Dining space for ~800 people at a time 7 ~60 person workshop/meeting spaces First aid Security at the entrances What we recommend you bring with you Refillable water bottle Rain jacket/umbrella Laptop/notebook Laptop and phone chargers Things to help you de-stress or relax during off time, such as a book or headphones or an eye mask if you want to take a nap Necessary medications Covid policy We will not mandate the wearing of masks. However, we encourage people to think seriously about their decision to wear/not wear one with respect to other attendees' safety. We will have ~1,000 KN95 m...

Pharaoh's Nephew. A small statue, in the Brooklyn museum, tells a tale. Of a King's nephew (by marriage), and the paths to lucrative work and influence in Egyptian society. A young man, also named Ay, worked as a priest for Mut (the Mother Goddess) and Amun (the Hidden One). Along the way, this young man probably gained wealth and position. Welcome to Showcasing House Music DJ Mixes by dattrax!!                                                  This mix was made w/ two technics 1200 vinyl turntables, pioneer djm-500 mixer, rane SL1 convertor box, and serato scratch live dj software, itunes playlists and sony soundforge for recording.Borrowed a friend's serato/ rane set up and it is a blast. Had more fun making this mix than most of the last gigs w/ mixing w/ cds. Made about 1/2 a dozen mixes before this on serato. "Mainstay, MixTwo" was made w/ serato/ rane set up.This is the best of the fusion of digital music files and the tactile control of vinyl turntables. What I did was loaded around 250 tracks into itunes library. Then made six playlists of mp3/ wave tracks titled: instrumental.mellow, ".medium, ".harder & vocal.mellow, ".medium, ".harder because the problem w/ digital tracks is that if you are not organised you can't create a good groove/ flow through a mix. It was a lot easier when it was vinyl because you picked 100 records for an hour gig (this gave you a choice of 3-4records to choose from for every track you played) and your brain remembered the colour of the sleeves, the sticker label on each side A or B, the name of the label or artists, you knew exactly where your favourite track was. With digital, when you buy 20-30tracks per week and your collection accumulates fast, you don't know what is what because the names are just words. Even when you do what we do, and burn onto single cds, it gets difficult because it's our chicken scratch w/ black permanent marker on silver blank cds. W/ cds we organised vocals in different carrying folders than instrumentals. I've seen a lot of local DJs burn 12-15+ tracks on one disk w/ a paper list in the insert of the holder. It's too confusing to create a vibe- too much music. It's faster using serato, then thumbing through folders for cds. Select the folder (playlist in itunes since serato syncs to itunes), then scroll to desired track, then click and drag into the serato software interface- left or right side turntable on screen. Now because of the rane SL1 box, the track is calibrated to the vinyl for instant response. It's the coolest thing. Playing digital tracks on vinyl is amazing! Nothing beats the tactile feel of vinyl for mixing. It's such a blast! Can't wait to try traxtor's system. From what I'm seeing on websites/ youtube etc, it looks like traxtor is more flexible. I'm sure there are tons of bells & whistles that I don't know about in serato, but my friend needs his stuff back soon, so I'll just keep to basics. The djm500 mixer is still one of my favourite dj mixers to play on. Love how the buttons, knobs, crossfader feel. The efx are simple to use and lots of fun to play around with (hope i didn't do too many to make this mix annoying or anything).---------------Reach out to us and comment if you like our mixes. Don't Give Up Skeleton: A Dark Souls and Bloodborne Podcast

This week’s guest is Nicholas, aka StrenuousOrb on Twitter. Nicolas and I have long been twitter buds, so it was nice to sit down and talk about some Souls games. Check out his YT links for his challenge runs, which are great and I could also defeat the end boss of the DS3 DLC at SL1, just like him. Totally. I mean it. A couple of notes: (1) I’m a terrible person who let this one sit around for awhile instead of releasing it on time. As such, you get to hear my and Nicholas talk about the aforementioned DLC before it even came out! It was that long ago. Luckily Nicholas is a very nice guy and didn’t seem to mind at all. (2) Back when we recorded I was using Zencastr, which seemed to randomly and spontaneously breakdown in creative ways. That happened in this recording, but after the first 10 minutes or so I think everything clears up. Sorry about that! dattrax: this mix was made w/ two technics 1200 vinyl turntables, pioneer djm-500 mixer, rane SL1 convertor box, and serato scratch live dj software, itunes playlists and sony soundforge for recording. Borrowed a friend's serato/ rane set up and it is a blast. Had more fun making this mix than most of the last gigs w/ mixing w/ cds. Made about 1/2 a dozen mixes before this on serato. "Mainstay, MixTwo" was made w/ serato/ rane set up. This is the best of the fusion of digital music files and the tactile control of vinyl turntables. The efx are simple to use and lots of fun to play around with (hope i didn't do too many to make this mix annoying or anything). Hope you enjoy this mix, please comment here if you do. BTW... going to put our slogan 'strictly house music' in every title now because I realised when searching for mixes to listen to in podomatic that a lot of other DJs were smart and put 'house music' in the title, so that it shows up in the search results. BTW... if you enjoy this mix, then why don't you buy us a beer? There's a PayPal DONATE button on the top right side of this website. For Toronto or Global bookings: dattrax@gmail.com
