In this episode of The Hot Options Report, Mark Longo breaks down a respectable day on the options tape, where it took over 522,000 contracts just to break into the Top 10. We dive deep into the massive retail and institutional flow hitting the tape for Tesla (TSLA) as robo-taxi hype sends shares soaring toward the key $450 level. We also analyze the fallout from Intel (INTC) earnings—why the stock is sliding in the after-hours despite a recent massive run—and look at the long-term "winner winner chicken dinner" bets being placed on Netflix (NFLX). On today's report, we cover: Tesla (TSLA): The battle for the 450 strike and the massive volume leading the tape. Intel (INTC): Post-earnings breakdown—why the Jan 60 calls are feeling the pain. Netflix (NFLX): Huge size moving in the September 100 calls. Is paper betting on a long-term recovery? Meta (META): A massive $34 rally—is the "bargain" hunt officially on? Nvidia (NVDA) & AMD: Tracking the semiconductor giants as they navigate pre-earnings positioning. Micron (MU) & Apple (AAPL): Checking the pulse of the tech heavyweights as they fight for gains. @investopedia's Caleb Silver makes the case that markets are still very bullish. The issue comes down to headline risk ramping volatility higher, with the latest example seen in the resurgence of tariff talks and Greenland concerns. That said, Caleb points to high retail trading in Nvidia (NVDA) and memory chips like Western Digital (WDC) and SanDisk (SNDK) as signs that bulls aren't slowing down. He later explains how Tesla (TSLA) plays into the high-beta trade. ======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day.Subscribe to the Market Minute newsletter - https://schwabnetwork.com/subscribeDownload the iOS app - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/schwab-network/id1460719185Download the Amazon Fire Tv App - https://www.amazon.com/TD-Ameritrade-Network/dp/B07KRD76C7Watch on Sling - https://watch.sling.com/1/asset/191928615bd8d47686f94682aefaa007/watchWatch on Vizio - https://www.vizio.com/en/watchfreeplus-exploreWatch on DistroTV - https://www.distro.tv/live/schwab-network/Follow us on X – / schwabnetwork Follow us on Facebook – / schwabnetwork Follow us on LinkedIn - / schwab-network About Schwab Network - https://schwabnetwork.com/about

Jeffrey Small expects the Fed's hawkish tone to continue and says “there's nothing to guarantee” we get a rate cut despite high odds in the market. He says Powell could be the “Christmas Grinch” for the third time in a row, bringing up that Fed announcements in the last few years hit December rallies. “I don't think a quarter point cut is going to do much for the markets anyway,” he adds. He thinks Nvidia (NVDA) is “grotesquely misunderstood,” arguing that it is a long-term AI utility, not a cyclical semiconductor company. He also calls Tesla (TSLA) the “biggest AI player I know.”======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day.Options involve risks and are not suitable for all investors.
