During the waning weeks of 2024, Hankook Tire invited Tire Review to Joliet, Illinois, just outside Chicago, to experience the Weatherflex GT. It's the company's newest all-weather tire offering. For this Hankook Weatherflex GT review, we took to the track at the Autobahn Country Club, taking several laps with professional racing instructors offering guidance.Key Specifications of the Hankook Weatherflex GT All-Weather TireBefore diving into performance, let's review Hankook's Weatherflex GT specifications. The Weatherflex GT comes in 37 sizes, from 15 to 22 inches. Hankook backs it with a 70,000-mile treadwear warranty. It also has the three-peak mountain snowflake designation for handling snow and ice. Hankook says it designed the tread pattern to deliver excellent winter performance. High-density sipes in the grooves enhance traction in snow. The sipes in the center and shoulder blocks helps to improve performance on snowy roads. Wide lateral grooves channel water away efficiently, reducing hydroplaning.Wet Weather Performance and Hydroplaning MitigationThe zig-zagged grooves improve cornering grip by engaging the road at various angles. This design ensures drivers maintain control. The tire's “3D GripKontrol Sipes” minimize block deformation. Better block stiffness leads to improved handling in wet and dry conditions, and we had the opportunity to experience this for ourselves on the track. Wide lateral grooves channel water away efficiently, reducing hydroplaning. This keeps the driver in control during rainy conditions.Comfort Features Built Into the Hankook Weatherflex GTTo test the Weatherflex GT on the track, I drove two vehicles equipped with these tires: a 2025 Honda Accord and a 2025 Honda Pilot. The weather varied greatly during the test. A sunny, mild day turned overcast, windy, and drizzly. These conditions were perfect for testing this tire. The quiet ride stood out while reviewing this tire. Hankook says its engineers prioritized reducing road noise using strategically positioned tread blocks. The company optimized the block arrangement to minimize vibrations. Poorly positioned tread blocks generate unpleasant sounds, similar to clashing musical notes. Hankook harmonized these “notes” by varying block sizes and aligning them properly. This creates a quieter, more comfortable ride. The tire's “3D GripKontrol Sipes” minimize block deformation.Introducing the Hankook Weatherflex GT to the LineupHankook organizes its tires into families. These include the Kinergy, Ventus, and iON lines. The Weatherflex GT introduces a new family line. Tire Review spoke with Rob Nasca, Hankook's Product and Marketing Training Manager, about the decision to introduce a new line. He explained the vision for the Weatherflex GT. "Consumers are looking at the market as a whole, and we've noticed that the snow accumulations actually decreased," Nasca said. "It's still getting cold out there in the wintertime, but there isn't as much snow. So, we've [responded] by having an all-weather tire that's going to be like an all-season, but have that three-peak mountain snowflake symbol. It's also going to be more cost-saving, because now the consumer doesn't have to buy a summer and a winter tire."Asymmetrical Tread DesignThere is one key feature of the Weatherflex GT that deserves extra attention: Its asymmetrical tread pattern. This design differs from the tread pattern of the Kinergy 4S2 – another all-weather tire in Hankook's line-up. The asymmetrical pattern allows rotation between the driver's and passenger's sides. This prevents irregular wear. Rotating directional tires similarly could cause performance issues. Hankook says its engineers prioritized reducing road noise using strategically positioned tread blocks.Tire Review: www.tirereview.comHunter Engineering Company: www.hunter.com

Gio doesn't think he'll be treated the same way because they are playing the Bills. Nobody wants to see the Texans move on, so Mahomes got all the calls. Hour 2 If the Jets are going to hire Aaron Glenn, it may happen soon now that the Lions got bounced. Ben Johnson is also available now and if teams want these guys, they have to pounce. Mike Borganzi was hired by the Titans so he's not coming to the Jets. A caller wondered, if the Chiefs are getting treated by the refs, how is this not a rigged game? Boomer said there's no way to prove the bias, but it's the perception we have. A caller talked about the Chiefs taking a safety and screwing bettors, but B&G said that helped other bettors and the players don't care about the spreads in games. Another caller wondered why the Ravens went for 2. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the final call as the Bills beat the Ravens. The Baltimore announcers said ‘the Ravens beat the Ravens'. John Harbaugh talked about Mark Andrews and how he'll handle the adversity now. We heard from Buck and Aikman as the refs do everything they can to help Mahomes. We heard both Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley score on long runs. Mike Kafka is getting a second interview with the Saints. In the final segment of the hour, Tom Brady and his agent have both said he is going to fulfil his 10 year commitment to Fox. Gio said he is rarely annoyed by broadcasters during games. Hour 3 We talked about Jalen Hurts' performance yesterday against the Rams. Boomer thought he held onto the ball for too long in many instances. We also talked about Washington and how Dan Quinn will probably be the coach of the year and Jayden Daniels will be the rookie of the year. Boomer said this is what a great quarterback can do for a team. The Giants and Jets both need that. Boomer thinks it's easier for the Giants to be at 3, since one of the quarterbacks will ‘fall to them' and it won't be their decision to make. Boomer wonders if the Raiders move up to 2 to take Shedeur Sanders. What are the Giants selling to their fans if they don't get Sanders or Cam Ward? Boomer said this Commander's team reminds him of the 2007 Giants. Caitlin Clark was in the box in Kansas City with Taylor Swift. Jerry returns for an update, but first we we talked about Al & Jerry being on YouTube now and nobody watching it. Jerry plays a message from former Bills head coach, Marv Levy. He's 99 and sounds awesome. The Ravens came up short against the Bills as Mark Andrews dropped a game tying 2-point conversion. Lamar Jackson talked about his turnovers. Texans' Kris Boyd talked about shoving his coach, sort of. Saquon Barkley ran for 205 as the Eagles beat the Rams. Dan Quinn talked about Jayden Daniels being clutch and making great decisions. The Cadillac CT4 and CT5 Blackwing both made this list, alongside a handful of perennial stalwarts like the Honda Civic, Honda Accord, and GR86/BRZ twins. Afterwards, we recount hanging with Jay Leno while filming 3 separate episodes of Jay Leno's Garage featuring Jason's Mk2 VW Scirocco 16V, E30 BMW 325i Touring, and E31 850 CSi.  And finally, it's time to talk best drives of the year! The boys loved three Ferraris: the 296 GTB, 360 Challenge Stradale (manual-swapped), and F50. Plus one car from Enzo's nemesis: the Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster.  Then, Jason and Derek include wwo Porsches: the 992.1-chassis 911 S/T and 964 Carrera RS 3.8. Both the Bugatti EB110 GT and Veyron made the list, as did another Piëch-era favorite: the VW XL1.  Speaking of VWs, the 1964 Beetle and new ID.Buzz both made the cut as well. What would a Carmudgeon episode be without a smattering of Mercedes products? The W209 CLK63 Black Series (manual-converted), W201 190E 2.5-16, C126 560SEC, and a W124 300E with a Mosselman twin-turbo kit and Zender body!  Two EVs even made the list: the incredible Lucid Air Sapphire and spunky Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. Plus some exquisite lightweights: the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint 1300, Lotus Exige V6 Cup, and Lancia Stratos. The worst drives of the year? That honor goes to the disappointing Pagani Zonda and 4-cylinder W206 Mercedes-AMG C63. We end wondering how to rack up miles behind the wheel of our favorite vintage cars safely.

Ford Cougar. Desde 3.000 €. 2. Ford Puma. Desde 2.000 €. 3. Honda Accord. Desde 4.000 €. 4. Hyundai Coupé. Desde 2.000 €. 5. Mercedes-Benz C Coupé. Desde 3.000 €. 6. Opel Tigra. Desde 2.000 €. 7. Peugeot 406 Coupé. Desde 1.800 €. 8. Peugeot 307 CC. Desde 4.000 €. 9. Renault Megane. Desde 2.000 €. 10. Smart Roadster. Desde 5.000 €. 11. Toyota Celica. Desde 1.900 €. Conclusión: Como veis hay coupés muy asequibles y muy interesantes. Los feos, son más baratos, con excepciones… pero los hay que cumplen con la “3B: Buenos, bonitos y baratos”.

SUMMARY: According to the FBI's statistics, 2 cars are stolen every minute in the US. This adds up to almost 3,000 cars a day! According to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, the most targeted cars are the Honda Accord, Honda Civic, Ford pickups, Chevrolet pickups, Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima, Dodge pickups, Toyota Corolla, Chevrolet Impala, and Jeep Grand Cherokee. The largest number of car thefts occur on Halloween, followed by Labor Day. On New Year's Day, the chances of losing your car are also pretty high. As soon as you get out of your car to get a closer look at this mysterious banknote, criminals will jump into action. They will get into your car and drive off at record-breaking speed. Walk around your car to check if anything is amiss before you unlock it and start the engine. One sure sign that you're in danger is an almost empty parking lot and another car parked next to yours with somebody sitting inside. A car thief may bump against your car to check if you have an alarm. Many car alarms are so sensitive that a loud motorbike or a rumbling truck can set them off. Some criminals cause car accidents on purpose. For example, they hit another car at the traffic lights. Sometimes you make the life of car thieves much easier without realizing it. Lots of people keep their spare keys inside their car or in a special magnetic box attached to the underside of their vehicle. Don't leave your spare keys inside your car! Keep them at home, or ask your family members or friends to look after them. And make sure there isn't a set of spare keys in your car that you know nothing about. Welcome back, welcome back, welcome all the way the hell back, to yet another episode, in another awesome season!!! Thank you for pulling back up on us! We are back, and making it happen, just for you all, and a little bit for us. We greatly appreciate your presence, and want to thank you for letting us borrow a little bit of your time, letting us into a little bit of your space, and just letting us come in and do what we do, and that's just talk! Hopefully we share something, drop a dyme or two that you can pick up, save in your piggy bank of life, and cash it in when the time is right, and it makes sense in your situation! The Question of the Week for this week is what do you think was your worst financial decision you've made? At this point in life, I think we've all had that moment where we had buyer's remorse, or looking back, you thought to yourself "where did all that money go?" What was yours? Was it the super long chain back in the day, the Honda Accord with 200K miles on it, or was it buying the bar when you thought you had real money? Let's talk about it! What was your worst financial decision? With that being said, today's topic is an extension of the Question of the Week, and get into when were you at your "brokest" financially? When did you feel like you had no money? I think we've all be there, but the word "broke" can mean something different for each of us. For some, once you get under a certain amount, you get that feeling. For others, when you have to monitor your account a little more, that could be that feeling of being at your financial low. For some of us, it's been your account laughs at you when you log in to check it. Like most things we discuss on here, these answers will vary, but we want to know what broke has looked like for you, when did it happen, and how did you get yourself out of the moment? Let's really talk about it. I know there's someone at home wondering why would we have this kind of conversation. A few reasons, but he's a couple of good reasons to us. Sometimes letting people know they're not alone can stop them from doing something that could hurt them in so many ways. Sometimes, tell how you were able to get yourself out of the moment can be exactly what someone else needs to hear to get them out of theirs. So, with that being said, let talk about it! As always, we appreciate you giving us a little of your time, letting us borrow a little of your space, to let us just come in and do what we do, and that's just talk! Praying these words connect and help in some way! Continue to tell a friend to tell a friend to come be our friends, so we can all be friends! We're still on our quest to get to 1,000 subscribers and you, our family and friends are so dope, and you all mean so much in that quest! On this week's show we take a look at the Pro-Ject 12.2 turntable and ask who is this for. And since it's Halloween we give you a list of five Halloween movies that you can watch with the family. We also read your emails and take a look at the week's news. News: Best Buy supersizes its TV selection for the holidays Spectrum Invests $9 Billion to Bring High Speed Internet & TV to Rural America Fox Sports Aims To Enhance World Series Coverage With ‘Inside-Out' Perspective Roku Keeps 37% Share of North American CTV Streaming Device Market Pro-Ject‘s Flagship Signature The Pro-Ject Signature 12.2 turntable looks like an amazing electronic device that is also art. But from a music lover's point of view, is the price tag of $14,999 worth it? Pro-Ject has made a name for itself as a pioneer in high-end technology and they say that the craftsmanship justifies the cost, but from a purely music lover's point of view, it's ludicrous to spend that kind of money on a record player. But we get it, this product seems more like a luxury statement than a necessary audio component. So we'll ask our listeners the question of whether anyone truly requires a turntable that costs more than many people's monthly rent. When you read the product info it's clear they are not talking to us: “With painstaking hand-polished metal parts and a chassis that involves 10 layers of paint”, so who is this really for? They do use terms like "anti-resonance" and "precision CNC machining."  Maybe I need to use terms like that in my speaker ads on Etsy. Precision cuts and only the best glue make my speakers the best out there. LOL, Actually, I wish I had a CNC machine to make precision cuts!!  What it boils down to is, does the average (or even audiophile)  music lover need their vinyl spinning on a platter that weighs almost 25 pounds? Especially when even some budget turntables can deliver decent sound quality for a fraction of the price. In the end consider this, all cars can get you from point A to point B, so why do some people drive expensive high end cars? Well it's about performance and in some cases image.  There is an absolute measurable difference driving a Porsche vs a Honda Accord. I'm not so sure you can say that about the Pro-Ject 12.2. Well unless you are going to build a shrine to it and display it prominently in your music room. It ships in November. This week's episode comes to you in the afterglow of two sold out Joni Mitchell performances at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, where molecules were rearranged, hearts were broken wide open and 17,000 fans basked in her brilliance. Though she has a bit of FOMO over missing out on being part of the Joni Jam, this week's first guest, Shawn Colvin, has plenty of Joni stories. After initially discovering Clouds as a teenager at church camp, Shawn found herself many years later recording her 2nd album at Joni's house with Joni's then-husband Larry Klein, and Episode 7 guests Béla Fleck and Bruce Hornsby. Shawn says that she learned everything she could from Clouds, including a percussive approach to guitar, and it set her on a path to a solo approach to performing and writing songs which would not have happened without Joni Mitchell. She tells host/producer Carmel Holt about her “big brother” relationship with Bruce Hornsby and how he helped her overcome the heartbreak of a terrible New York Times live show review by sharing a folder of his own scathing media clips, one of which called him a “gherkin” (UK speak for pickle). MUNA guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and writer Naomi McPherson grew up in a family of jazz musicians. Like several of our guests, their gateway to Joni Mitchell was Blue and then the fretless bass of Jaco Pastorius on Hejira locked them in. From there, they went hardcore into 70s and onward Joni while listening to cassette tapes of Turbulent Indigo, Night Ride Home and Miles of Aisles in their 1998 Honda Accord. Naomi says that they are still learning from Joni's music and that because of her, they play exclusively in open tunings. They talk about how Joni's music spans genres and how much sonic exploration there is to mine in her catalog - from folk to the jazz era to 80s pop influences. Naomi thanks Joni for her fearlessness and considers her to be the greatest songwriter of all time.

Still thousands of people remain under evacuation orders and warnings...and, while the scope of the evacuations hasn't grown in days... there's no clear timeline of when those orders will be lifted. The people of Bodfish are slowly returning to their homes in the Kern River Valley, with the grim prospect of picking up the pieces from the fire that tore through their community.    17's Rob Hagan has more on the relief efforts there.Price gouging during an emergency like the Borel Fire is illegal.    That's the warning from California's top prosecutor. Attorney General Rob Bonta issuing a reminder to businesses and landlords they cannot raise the prices of essential supplies, hotels, rental housing and more during this time of a natural disaster.    He urges those who believe they've been the victim of price gouging to report it to their local authorities.    Any business found in violation will be subject to criminal prosecution that can result in a year in jail and a possible fine up to $10-thousand dollars. In your 17 News court watch...    The trial of two men charged with the murder of a Kern County corrections counselor is nearing its end after weeks of testimony. Closing arguments began in a Bakersfield courtroom yesterday.    Prosecutors say Robert Roberts and Sebastian Parra fatally shot prison counselor Benny Alcala Jr. while trying to rob him at the Stockdale Target parking lot the night of Aug. 24, 2022. But an attorney for Roberts says *Parra* was the shooter...painting him as a psychopath who killed Alcala for no reason.    Meantime, Para's lawyer says Roberts acted alone and his client was nearby, but didn't participate.    Closing arguments will resume later this morning. The discussion on a motion to postpone a preliminary hearing of a former Bakersfield police officer charged with vehicular manslaughter is set for today.    The motion hearing was originally scheduled for July 23rd.    But attorney David A. Torres made a special appearance for the attorney representing former officer Ricardo Robles...and asked that the hearing be moved to August First -- which is today.    The 24-year-old officer is accused of driving a patrol vehicle early January 19th, 2023 at more than 100 mph –- without overhead flashing lights activated — as he tried to catch up to a chase.     He ran a stop sign and hit a Honda Accord at the intersection of South Vineland and Muller roads -- killing the driver, Mario Lares, and seriously injuring the passenger, Ana Hernandez.

This would mean an average tax increase of $225 for a $450,000 home. Superintendent Grant Rivera supports this to sustain current funding levels amid the end of federal COVID-19 aid. Board members generally favor the proposal, emphasizing competitive teacher pay and academic priorities. Public hearings are scheduled before the final vote, addressing community concerns today at the board headquarters in Marietta. Dee unpacks the origin of her nickname and shares some of her most cherished family stories. Despite the usual sibling teasing, the episode underscores the strong familial ties that have been strengthened through a shared love of cars.Listen to the heartwarming story of Dee's first car, a white 1989 Chevrolet Celebrity. This wasn't just any car; it was a gift from her tough but loving mother that symbolized trust and independence. Listen to the hilarious and heartfelt tales of teenage rebellion, like Dee's unforgettable performance of Madonna's "Material Girl" at a strict Catholic school. As we move forward, the episode explores the trials and triumphs of learning to drive stick shift in a green 1996 Honda Civic, and the eventual upgrade to a silver 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe. Danielle gets emotional discussing her red 2006 Honda Accord, a gift from her late mother that carries sentimental value with every mile. We also have a good laugh over Christian's past ride, the brown 1984 Buick Skyhawk, which he tried to transform into a masterpiece with Mardi Gras beads and even a skull. These narratives highlight the deep emotional connections and unforgettable memories tied to these cars, making this episode a heartfelt celebration of family and the vehicles that have been part of the journey.

Herbert Holler on The Virtual Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 6/25/24   About Herbert Holler - Herbert Holler has been a party producer, promoter and DJ for over 25 years. He's played at the most notable lounges, bars and dance clubs in NYC nightlife history, from Wall Street to 125th, from Brooklyn to the Bronx, not-to-mention guest spots across the globe, in cities like Tokyo, Venice and London.    He works with a growing list of high-profile clients (Samsung, Porsche, Live Nation, Sony/ATV, etc.), event-production teams (Creative Edge Parties, Glow, Frost Audio, etc.) and world-renown artists (Benny Blanco, Boyz II Men, Diplo, John Legend, Miguel, Snoop Dogg, etc.), and continues to spin some of the most celebrated annual events in NYC (like the Brooklyn Black Tie Ball and Brooklyn Botanic Spring Gala).    He's also created the most legendary old-school dance party in history, the Freedom Party®, voted “Best Party” by Papermag, Village Voice and URB, now in its 21st year of parties with 1000+ events to date, My House™, his home for deep-house music, and Jams™, a new 2000s night! Past When I was little, I had problems sleeping. I wasn't putting myself to bed ever, really. My parents tried everything in the book to get me out, but nothing worked. One night, my dad was at the bar doing his funny dance to Survivor's “Eye of the Tiger,” and I asked him to pick me up. Less than five minutes later, I was out. Every night thereafter, he slung me over his shoulder just before bedtime and danced me to sleep—to Queen, Styx, Chicago, Meatloaf and lots and lots of Electric Light Orchestra.   ELO was our personal favorite. I ended up memorizing every word to every song off “Out of the Blue.” Anytime we were in his Honda Accord '87, that 8-track went in. My mom had her input, too. Mostly Billy Joel, Tom Jones, maybe some Diana Ross. She tried singing me to sleep some nights, but “Why Do Fools Fall in Love” doesn't really set the mood for deep slumber. She gave me my very first piece of vinyl—1966's “The Best of the Beach Boys.” After the needle gave up trying to stick to that record, she handed me the soundtrack to “Hair.” When the day finally came for me to start learning the value of a dollar and buy my own music, the first tape I went out and purchased was Run DMC's “Raising Hell.”   How I got from 70s orchestral rock, surf ditties, and Broadway musicals to hip-hop, I'll never know. But that diversity has stuck with me to this day. Just when I pledge allegiance to some new rap artist, I'm a bloodthirsty digger searching for a new, synthetic electronic sound I heard on satellite radio or on somebody's blog. And then I'm back frantically Googling a soul or disco sample I recognized from an old tune, or putting the finishing touches on a Dubstep mix I took way too much time obsessing over, or re-organizing my playlists so I know the difference between bounce, trap and an old Dirty-South anthem.   The question of how I ended up spending half my waking hours in a nightclub is easy: I practically grew up in one. Again, my father's to blame. He used to be the Food & Beverage Manager at Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ, my hometown. I clocked more hours at that place than some of the people on payroll. And this was the 80s, mind you, when the casino strip was as glamorous as it would ever be: fur coats, pearl necklaces, big Cadillacs and Liberace (who I saw live…many times). The lights, the sounds, the electricity in the air, even the smells…these things never left.   Nor has my penchant for making people smile. In grade school I brought class clown to a new level. It cost me my grades, and also led to a few suspensions, but there was nothing I enjoyed more than leaving my classmates in stitches. Sometimes even the teacher had to take a second to regain composure. I thought maybe I'd make a good Psychologist, helping people smile, so I went Premed at NYU, till I realized the night before classes started that I'd have to sit still and study a lot. (Hence the B.A.) Naturally, I tried my hand at comedy, but I couldn't afford to be broke, and I was already getting gigs and discovering my knack for making dance floors pop. So, it was settled: I was to be a professional DJ. Present Today, my career is in its 20th year with no signs of slowing down. I've played just about every NYC lounge, bar, and dance club from Wall Street to 125th, from Brooklyn to the Bronx, not-to-mention residencies and guest spots across the globe; I continue to work with a growing list of high-profile clients and world-renown artists (like Snoop Dogg, Diplo, Benny Blanco, Boyz II Men, John Legend, Miguel, Blondie…).   I spin some of the most celebrated annual events in NYC, including the Brooklyn Black Tie Ball, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden Spring Gala, and Central Park Summerstage to name a few; I've created the most legendary old-school dance party in NYC history, the award-winning Freedom Party® (19-plus years and 900-plus parties; voted “Best Dance Party” by Village Voice in 2015); and I continue to create unforgettable nightlife experiences for people from all walks of life. Future After years of hard work, dedication and professionalism, my name and reputation as a DJ in the music and entertainment industry precedes itself. And though I don't get to play nearly as much ELO at the gigs as I'd like to, and 8-track tapes (and Liberace) are long gone, my love for the music, the night, and for making people smile are still here.

That crash happened last year at the intersection of South Vineland and Muller Roads.     Court documents say 23-year-old Michael Stephens Jr. led police on a high-speed chase but the vehicle became disabled, and he was taken into custody.     More than a mile away -- former officer Ricardo Robles crashed while responding to assist in that chase.     It's alleged he drove more than 100 miles per hour — without his overhead lights and siren on — shortly before running a stop sign and plowing into a Honda Accord.    The Honda's driver, Mario Lares, died at the scene. 17 News has learned Stephens is now charged with vehicular manslaughter, evading a peace officer causing death and other offenses.    Robles -- who is also charged with manslaughter -- has pleaded not guilty. a bizarre scene that played out overnight in Oildale.    A shirtless man in a standoff with deputies... while standing on the roof of a home.  It shows the barefoot, shirtless man standing on a house while deputies below try to talk him down.     This all happening on Rockwood Avenue and Manor Street just before midnight.     He eventually comes down and is taken into custody.     We reached out to the Kern County Sheriff's Office to learn more, but have not heard back. New video out this morning shows a smash-and-grab robbery at a jewelry store in Sunnyvale.     A group of about 20 suspects ransacked the store yesterday afternoon.    They smashed display cases with hammers before taking off with an unknown amount of jewelry.    The suspects fled in several vehicles before officers arrived.    Five suspects were later arrested following police pursuits.    They face various charges, including armed robbery, felony vehicle evasion, resisting arrest, burglary and vandalismA bill that would prohibit schools from notifying parents if their children identify as transgender or LGBTQ... Is now one step closer to becoming law. That's because the State Senate overwhelmingly passed it yesterday.    A-B 19-55 would prohibit school districts from enforcing and implementing LGBTQ notification policies and would forbid teachers from outing children to their parents unless the child gives permission.    Supporters of the bill say kids could suffer emotionally and consider suicide if parents are unaccepting. Jewel was on her way to church when her Honda Accord was hit by a 26-foot Freightliner that ran a red light. The impact of the tractor-trailer, owned by First Class Produce, caused Jewel to hit her head, rendering her temporarily unconscious. Suffering damage to her frontal and temporal lobes, Jewel was diagnosed with a mild traumatic brain injury, which, years after the crash, still causes her to have headaches, ringing in her ears, light sensitivity, memory problems, anxiety, and depression. Despite the defense's attempts to persuade the jury that Jewel was lying about her injuries or embellishing the extent of her pain, a DeKalb County jury returned a verdict of $3,500,000.   Guest Bio: Alwyn Fredericks Alwyn Fredericks graduated from Mercer University Law School in 1998. On May 16th, Engineering and Technology published an article by Tanya Weaver which covered the results of the new study: Copper cannot be mined quickly enough to keep up with current policies requiring the transition to electric vehicles (EVs), according to a University of Michigan study. … The study found that renewable energy's copper needs would outstrip what copper mines can produce at the current rate. Between 2018 and 2050, the world will need to mine 115% more copper than has been mined in all of human history up until 2018 just to meet current copper needs without considering the green energy transition. To meet the copper needs of electrifying the global vehicle fleet, as many as six new large copper mines must be brought online annually over the next several decades. About 40% of the production from new mines will be required for EV-related grid upgrades. So what exactly do these numbers look like, in context? Well here's this, also from Weaver: [A]n EV requires three to five times more copper than petrol or diesel cars, not to mention the copper required for upgrades to the electricity grid. ‘A normal Honda Accord needs about 40 pounds of copper. The same battery electric Honda Accord needs almost 200 pounds of copper,' said Adam Simon, professor of earth and environmental studies at the University of Michigan. ‘ Source: americanthinker.com The WEF knows this, thats why they will turn the highways into parks, they never expected everyone to have an EV, they just are using this to get the people away from gas powered vehicles. https://twitter.com/EndWokeness/status/1795234696655159318 TAKE A LISTEN https://twitter.com/KobeissiLetter/status/1795214815914242241   27% in 2019 and 2020.
