Welcome back. We're easing into your Monday with some Trump/Ron Maclean/Hockey/Cheating @ Golf news. We opened with a list of our least favorite Canadian bands, and Dean wrote, "Treble Charger makes me want to commit murder." It was a big weekend for Jewish hockey fans as Zach Hymen became the first "Jewish Person" to score 50 goals in a season. Lochlin wants to know if we're allowed to repeat "Zach Hymen becomes the only Jew to score 50 goals in a season" because he, like the rest of us, isn't sure if we are allowed to repeat that word OR the point of relevance. However, Dean and Loch landed on a compromise where they don't sound anti-Semitic reading a headline. Ron Maclean went ham on the weekend, and Dean and Loc want to know if it's time for Ron to step aside OR if we think Ron Maclean's dated references about Glen Satehr's mom's dress shop, poetry, or boomer references are a little dated. We LOVE Ron, but is it time for Ron to move off air and into a consulting role like everyone else who ages out? Trump is set to lose half of his $500m net worth today as an appeals court lowered his appeal bond to $175 million in the E Jean Carroll rape and defamation case. I was laughing at all the MAGATS who think this is a win for #DonPoorleone, who still has to come up with at least $180m in the next week while bankers laugh at him as he begs them for money. Trump ALSO managed to win the "Mar-a-lago Mens and Senior Men's golf Championship" (LOLOLOLZ) this weekend and forced Jack Nicklaus to give him the Trophies while acting as his OWN emcee. AWESOME. Lochlin and I talk about how fucking incredible Trump is at separating 91 criminal indictments for selling nuclear secrets, sedition, and treason to tell people he's the best golfer at Mar-A-Lago. (According to other golfers, he cheated his asshole off, and Dean thinks golf cheaters are all serial killers).
In recent months, desperate Haitians have crowded at immigration centers in Port-au-Prince to obtain a passport. Tens of thousands have headed towards the United States, risking life and health to cross the Darien jungle between South and Central America or crowding onto rickety boats to cross the ocean. Many have taken similar journeys towards other Caribbean shores. And a growing number are moving across the island of Hispaniola to the Dominican Republic, where they face documented abuses and the near-constant risk of deportation. This new wave of emigration adds to the long list of people who have left the country since a massive earthquake in 2010 and in the wake of violent riots that culminated in a political crisis in 2018. Challenges such as poverty, natural disasters, political crisis, and insecurity have historically driven Haitian migration, and have continued to do so in the aftermath of the July 7, 2021 assassination of President Jovenel Moïse, which led to a power vacuum. Even before Moïse's killing, about half the population lived in poverty. Dominican President Luis Abinader last year said Haiti was in the midst of a “low-intensity civil war,” underscoring the unprecedented nature of the country's implosion.Current migrants are distinct from the so-called boat people who sought humanitarian protection in the United States in recent decades, nor are they necessarily solely seeking better living conditions. They include Haitians with dual citizenship who had once chosen to raise their families in Haiti but now feel they have no choice but to leave. There are also those from the middle and upper classes who have lost hope of leading a normal life in their native land; their collective departure represents not only the movement of individuals but also a brain drain that could further erode the country's prospects and a symbol of declining optimism for the future. The United States is the most popular destination for Haitian migrants, although many are also going to Brazil, Canada, Chile, and the Dominican Republic, as well as other countries in the Caribbean, Europe, and Latin America. In recent years, many Haitians who moved to countries such as Brazil and Chile have migrated elsewhere for a second or third time as economic opportunities for Haitian migrants dried up. Because of the inherent challenges of leaving, only the most privileged have been able to afford to depart by plane, with most using land routes and a smaller number sea crossings. From October 2020 through May 2023, U.S. authorities encountered Haitians at the U.S. southwest border nearly 146,000 times (see Figure 1). From October 2022 through mid-June 2023, the U.S. Coast Guard interdicted more than 4,600 Haitian migrants at sea. As of mid-February, more than 5,000 Haitians arrived through a new humanitarian parole program that allows people in the United States to sponsor arrivals coming by plane, which has prompted the exceptional demand for Haitian passports (the program is also available to Cubans, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans); more than 580,000 Haitian cases were pending as of May. Newcomers join a population of 697,000 Haitian immigrants in the United States as of 2021. As of this January, 107,000 Haitians held Temporary Protected Status (TPS), granting them U.S. work authorization and protection from deportation through August 2024, and 105,000 more were estimated to be eligible to apply.“Now, if I don't get elected, it's going to be a bloodbath for the whole. That's going to be the least of it. It's going to be a bloodbath for the country,” Trump said during his 90-minute speech at a campaign rally on the grounds of the Dayton International Airport.

In recent political developments, a close associate of previous President Donald Trump has sent a firm message to states considering his exclusion from the 2024 presidential race. They need to bear in mind that the ultimate decision on verifying their electors post the forthcoming election rests with the House of Representatives. 'Consider this: any state contemplating bureaucratic ways to deny the Republican candidate ballot access should think twice, given that the U.S. House of Representatives has the final authority to approve the electors from such states,' is the chastening reminder offered by Representative Thomas Massie (R-Ky.). It was X Friday when Massie shared this post, to which Elon Musk, owner of X, responded intriguingly with a single word, 'Interesting.' Massie's stern alert follows hot on the heels of recent decisions by the Colorado Supreme Court and Maine's Secretary of State, Shenna Bellows. Both regions have taken steps to veto Trump's appearance on their individual state ballots in the coming year. Invoking alleged constitutional infringements, the officials highlight an 'insurrection' charge, an accusation not currently backed by any active litigation or convictions against Trump. This unprecedented move ignites debate among legal practitioners across the political spectrum. Leading voices anticipate that such actions in Colorado and Maine will probably be reversed by the U.S. Supreme Court. These include notable pundits such as Elie Honig, the erstwhile federal prosecutor turned chief legal analyst for CNN. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Mike takes all of your calls on whether you will continue to support Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential election. Why are people so quick to turn on Trump? Does loyalty mean something in politics? Also, the former Twitter safety chief conceded that censoring the Hunter Biden laptop story was a mistake. Twitter literally interfered in our elections. The media won't be covering this story, but they would if it was Rumble or Truth Social that interfered in our elections.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Live from the No Panic Zone—I'm Steve Gruber—I am America's Voice—God Bless America—God Bless You and let's do this! This is the Steve Gruber show— here to vaccinate you against rampant ignorance—roll up your sleeve— Here are three big things you need to know right now— ONE— So who will run for President as a Democrat—when Joe Biden gets bumped from the field? The horserace is on early—and its why Pete Buttigieg moved to Michigan— TWO— Senator Joe Manchin is still desperately trying to convince anyone that will listen that he didn't flip flop—when clearly he did—and that spending $800 billion means nothing for inflation— THREE— Primary Day in some key states—and the outcome in these key races could impact what happens in the November General election— In Michigan the hotly contested race for Governor is looking more and more like a lock for political newcomer Tudor Dixon—a pair of new polls show her spiking significantly since being endorsed by President Trump on Friday—one new poll has her up 14 and another by an eye popping 25 points—we will have to see how that plays out— In Arizona—Kari Lake—a former TV broadcaster is still dominating the polls—but one shows her main opponent up by a point—what will happen in her race—as she is also endorsed by President Trump— Also in Arizona—a key primary contest for the US Senate seat held by Mark Kelly—and will the GOP select another Trump endorsed America First candidate? Then we look to Missouri where the GOP primary for US Senate is also critical to keeping the seat in the show me state Red—former Governor Eric Greitens has been running behind—BUT he was also hoping for a very late boost from the former President— And… But what is really at stake in November? To me, everything. I mean Governor Whitmer in Michigan was among the worst when it came to locking down the state—and when most schools in other states were back—full-time and in person—our kids were forced to stay home—and endure virtual learning— And the Democrats—would love for Covid to surge again—because without the panic porn Joe Biden never would have made it to the White House—
It seems that no day goes by without a new revelation about some kind of governmental shenanigans, malfeasance, corruption or worse. We now know that the US Secret Service deleted text messages of its officers from January 5 and 6, 2021, AFTER the Office of the Inspector General requested those texts as part of its investigation of the Secret Service. This video discusses the implications and consequences of this revelation. Also, it probably qualifies as irony that federal prosecutors in DC routinely use the Secret Service Forensic Sciences Division to perform forensic searches of computers and cell phones, including when prosecutors seek to retrieve informations deleted from computers and cell phones. This video also explores the need for former Vice President Mike Pence to testify to the January 6 House select committee, particularly now that important text message evidence has ben deleted by the Secret Service. After being named as President Trump's Press Secretary, Sean Spicer became not only a household name, but a familiar face as the daily press conferences were regular fare for TV News. He also took a media beating, including a regular lampooning on comedy shows. He has written a new book, and has serious concerns about America's direction. Also, singer LAUREN TALLEY literally grew up on the stages of churches and concert halls. She is now a solo artist, and a newlywed to boot. Finally, Major Hank Harwell oversees the Citrus County Corp of the Salvation Army.

We sit down and discuss the building tensions of the first Presidential debate between Biden and Trump. What tactics will each one employ against the other? Will Biden make it to the end of the 90 minute debate? Is Amy Coney Barrett illegitimate? Is it an illegal appointment by Trump? Also, Trump now has 3 nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize. Why is none of this being mentioned by the main stream media? Should students be kicked out of Zoom classrooms for displaying political banners? And, if you contract COVID-19, What are your chances of survival? We ask the questions.

Also, contrary to the headlines, the CDC announces we’re only a week or two away from the coronavirus losing its pandemic status. Finally, Charlie breaks down the president’s Independence Day Mt. Rushmore speech, pulling out the major themes and some of the best lines from what was clearly one of the best and most important of his presidency.

The Democrats keep promising the blockbuster and keep falling short. What does the latest testimony mean for impeachment? How will affect Trump? Also as more centrist candidates rise in the polls is Warren finished? Carnivore Radio hosts Jeff Sherman and Eric Lopkin analyze today's events.
Leland Conway fills in for Dan, breaking down Part II of the Democratic Debates in Detroit from Wednesday night. Andrew Yang repeats his offer of $1,000/month for every American citizen. Cory Booker accuses Joe Biden of not knowing what flavor the Kool-Aid is that the former Vice-President is dipping into. Are the Democrats sprinting too far to the left to beat President Trump in 2020? And why were they attacking President Obama's policies instead of Trump? Also, Leland talks to Brad Garrett of ABC News about the Capital One data hack and how it impacts the cyber security of all online transactions.
Minutes later the president blasted lawmakers, mostly those on the left, for opposing his top agenda item – hundreds of miles of steel walls on the southern border. 'Wealthy politicians and donors,' he complained, 'push for open borders while living their lives behind walls and gates and guards.' Democrats groaned when he referred to a 'moral duty' to protect Americans from an 'onslaught' of migrants forming a new caravan in Central America and heading north. He demanded 'a new physical barrier, or wall, to secure the vast areas between our ports of entry,' while chastising lawmakers for their unwillingness to comply. 'In the past, most of the people in this room voted for a wall. But the proper wall never got built,' he said. 'I'll get it built.' Pelosi chatted with Vice President Mike Pence, visible to the world behind the man of the hour, rising only to applaud patriotic, nonpartisan lines. She wasn't amused to hear the president castigate her party for what's expected to be two years of aggressive congressional probes into everything from White House security clearances to as-yet unproven links between Trump's 2016 campaign and Russian agents. The attorney hired by Jay, Alex Spiro, also released a statement to the celebrity news site. "We are not going to stop until he is released, bonded out or in front of a judge," he told TMZ. "What we have here is someone who overstayed their Visa with an application pending for four years—not a convicted criminal that needs to be detained and removed but, by all accounts a wonderful person, father, and entertainer who has a marijuana offense which was vacated and sealed." In addition to Jay-Z, many more of 21 Savage's peers have come to his defense, including J. Cole and even Georgia representative Henry C. "Hank" Johnson—who wrote an endorsement letter and shared it with ICE on Twitter.
The bill gives judges more discretion when sentencing some drug offenders and boosts prisoner rehabilitation efforts. It also reduces the life sentence for some drug offenders with three convictions, or “three strikes,” to 25 years. Another provision would allow about 2,600 federal prisoners sentenced for crack cocaine offenses before August 2010 the opportunity to petition for a reduced penalty. A 27-year-old man living in Los Angeles has already fathered 18 children, but he doesn't play the role of 'dad' to any of them — and that's just how the mothers wanted it. Kyle Gordy's Facebook page features a string of positive pregnancy tests, which he proudly shows off. But Kyle's happiness isn't about raising kids of his own: He's thrilled to be helping women who want children by donating his sperm. To date, he's fathered 18 kids, and those positive pregnancy tests on his page indicate he's impregnated even more women in the past few months. After leaving his bags and identification at a security checkpoint Santana “paced the area nervously and requested that several individuals screen his bag expeditiously because he was going to miss his flight,” read the criminal complaint. He fled the airport in a cab, but surrendered himself to the Port Authority Police two days later. In August, he pleaded guilty to carrying a weapon on an aircraft and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. According to the Asbury Park Press, after accepting a plea agreement Santana faced between two to five years in prison. At this time, it is unknown when Santana will need to turn himself in to start serving his sentence.
On Monday, the singer-songwriter Taylor Swift endorsed two Democrats for the US mid-term elections, prompting Mr Trump to tell reporters that he likes "Taylor's music about 25% less now". Swift's comments appear to have contributed to a spike in online voter registrations, especially among young people, according to the voter registration site Vote.org. However, Vote.org said it was not possible to measure the direct impact of Swift's decision to wade into politics - taking into account looming registration deadlines in a number of states and other factors. Swift's remarks once again puts her at odds with West, with whom she has had an on-off public feud since he interrupted her acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Music Video Awards. In September, West, who is married to Kim Kardashian, wore a hat with Donald Trump's slogan "Make America Great Again" during his performance of Ghost Town on the US comedy show Saturday Night Live. He ended his segment by delivering an impromptu off-air speech praising the president, posted online by members of the audience. "So many times I talk to a white person and [they] say: 'How could you like Trump, he's racist?'" he said. "Well, if I was concerned about racism I would've moved out of America a long time ago." Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., is facing scrutiny from a conservative watchdog group for possibly violating fundraising rules in a slate mailer, with the group requesting that Waters’ campaign committee be audited as a result. The Federal Election Commission received a complaint Monday from the National Legal and Policy Center claiming that Waters, her campaign, and a pro-charter school group called Families and Teachers for Antonio Villaraigosa violated federal election law. The complaint claims the group paid $25,000 for Villaraigosa to be featured in the Waters mailer when he was running for governor in the Democratic primary earlier this year. Although candidates can pay a fee to be included in slate mailers, it’s illegal for outside groups such as Families and Teachers for Antonio Villaraigosa to make such a payment.
