In this episode, we talked all about Berserk Of Gluttony Which was a recommendation from Jeb. We touch on Fate's gluttony skill, which causes hunger that does not end and it also absorbs the stats and abilities of those he kills monsters and humans alike. The show had a fair number of positive points but it also a decent number of negative points as well.Next Week's Pick: "Witch Hunter Robin" Have you had the chance to watch Berserk Of Gluttony or any of our previous selections? This week we continue with Gate part 2 an isekai that take a different approach to the usually genre. And just like part 1 it did not disappoint at all. We get some resolutions that we were hoping for. The story progressed in a way that we predicted, it answered most of our questions and gave us a somewhat of an ending. All in all this is a story that is worth a watch just not if you are new to the genre.Next Week's Pick: "Berserk of Gluttony" Have you had the chance to watch Gate Part 2 or any of our previous selections? In this episode we dive into Gate part 1 an isekai that take a different approach to the usually genre and it was a recommendation from "Elf Daddy Girl Issues" and "Danner536". This anime certainly doesn't pull it's punches on how things would likely go when a you pit medieval against modern military dishing out some “f around and find out” pretty much through the whole story. The Character development and story was solid for the show and it was well worth the watch.Next Week's Pick: "Gate Part 2" Have you had the chance to watch Gate Part 1 or any of our previous selections? This week we get back into the goblin slaying world of Goblin Slayer. This season while our MC is still the main focal point we start to learn more about the others that are with him. We also go to see another side of him in more ways than 1. Add in the world building that they did and this season really helps lay out the foundation for more adventures and solid 3rd season should it ever come.Next Week's Pick: "I'm Quitting Heroing" Have you had the chance to watch Goblin Slayer Season 2 or any of our previous selections? This week we dive into the second season of Bofuri: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense. The story largely just continues on with Maple and her guild, Maple Tree, continue exploring new levels and content in the game they play, New World Online. Maple continues to stick to her strategy of only maxing out her defense stat, continually stumbling upon overpowered, game-breaking skills that baffle the game's developers despite the fact that they were the ones that put them in. On thing more notable is that we felt like Season 2 gives more attention to the other guild members.Next Week's Pick: "Goblin Slayer Season 2" Have you had the chance to watch Bofuri Season 2 or any of our previous selections? In this episode, we talked all about Code Geass Season 2. We dug into how it picks up right after the Season 1 cliffhanger, with Lelouch living a normal school life until his memories come back and he jumps right back into leading the Black Knights. Things quickly go from a local rebellion to full-blown global war. We also revisited out discussion on how Lelouch's Geass works, especially its limits as a result of that some of that talk got a little off-track. But overall, we both agreed Season 2 tied up a lot of loose ends from the first season and delivered a strong finish. Although Jack docked it a point for some gaps and unanswered questions. All in all it was a solid watch, well worth your time, especially if you liked Season 1.Next Week's Pick: "Bofuri Season 2" Have you had the chance to watch Code: Geass Season 2 or any of our previous selections? In this episode, we discussed Season 1 of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. And while we spent the episode mostly talking about the show and how it had and amazing story with some great writing. We also pointed out a couple of flaws along with a discussion about the Geass power's limits also got pretty heated and went way off into hypotheticals, maybe derailing things a bit. And the biggest negative we both agreed on? That incredibly frustrating cliffhanger ending! This week we talk about Jormungand season 1 and dives headfirst into the gritty world of arms dealing through the eyes of Koko, a cunning arms dealer backed by a team of seasoned bodyguards, veterans, and Jonah, a young boy-soldier. It explores themes of revenge, morality, weapons trade, giving you a solid story that is packed with action and drama. And the shows unique art style and dual-episode arcs provided engaging mini-stories that give you the feel of several short stories in 1 longer story. Although there were some brief moments that seemed slightly out of place, the series remains a strong recommendation for us if you're looking for an intense, action-packed show that has a decent enough story to go with it.Next Week's Pick: "Jormungand season 2" Have you had the chance to watch The Saint's Magic Power Is Omnipotent or any of our previous selections? This week we discuss "Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent" a fantasy romance isekai that is not like your typical action-packed isekais, this anime focuses on character growth through a slow-burn narrative following Sei. Instead of dwelling on this, Sei pursues her passions at a research institute where she discovers her magical abilities and lends a helpting hand to her new home. This isn't for viewers seeking fast-paced action but perfect for those who appreciate a strong female lead in a gradual romantic storyline, making it an excellent "palate cleanser" between more intense shows.Next Week's Pick: "The Saint's Magic Power Is Omnipotent season 2" Have you had the chance to watch The Saint's Magic Power Is Omnipotent or any of our previous selections? This week we dive into Kaiju No. 8. We break down the series, which follows Kafka Hibino, a 32-year-old man who once dreamed of joining JAKDF, but instead finds himself cleaning up after the battles. But then his life changes when he ingests a parasitic kaiju, transforming into a powerful humanoid monster known as Kaiju No. 8. We discuss the anime's strengths, from its storytelling and humor to its lack of filler episodes and excellent character development while also getting lost in the weeds for a couple of minutes as well by touching on the differences between sub and dub translations, the anime's world-building, and its standout music and animation.Next Week's Pick: "The Saint's Magic Power Is Omnipotent" Have you had the chance to watch Kaiju No. 8 or any of our previous selections? This week we talk about Magical Girl Spec Ops Asuka and its dark twist on the magical girl genre. The story follows Asuka, a former magical girl struggling with PTSD, forced back into battle. While the show portrays trauma and military themes, the pacing, forced shifts in tone, and poor character development weaken it as a whole. We debate whether magic undermines the stakes, with Rick arguing it negates physical consequences, while Jack and CJ emphasize the psychological toll.Next Week's Pick: "Kaiju No. 8"Have you had the chance to watch Magical Girl Spec Ops Asuka or any of our previous selections? We had a blast this week diving into the comedic anime Let This Grieving Soul Retire! It was a wild and interesting adventure filled with humor and action. We dive into a true classic, based on a film from the 1950s. It was genuinely entertaining, with solid storytelling and decent music. https://forums.eveonline.com/t/creatnos-for-csm19/462978 Hello Gamers, I am Creatnos, a once youthful kid saddened by the loss of his cormorant, now a slightly more mature kid saddened by the loss of skyhook raiding. I am running for CSM for the first time. For my Eve career I have mostly stayed out of the spotlight, so many of you probably do not know me by name, but chances are, someone you know, knows me. I started playing this game back in 2010 right around the time I was starting high school so i pretty much grew up with this game. I started off in Hisec, enjoying the day to day missioning, fighting off the mean wardeccers, and occasionally peeking into lowsec to see what real pvp was all about. Over a decade has passed and I have experienced pretty much everything this game has to offer. I participated in the Great Wars, like being a line member in a drake in DBRB fleets. Bombed armor bs fleets of old with Wrik Hoover and Cloak Squad in the south. Fought the world with Elo in Black Legion and the fcs of old in Pandemic Legion. Roamed wormhole space with Noobman and HK. Founded NSH (the original GW version). Ran faction warfare complexes and spearfished individual ships out of entire fleets. I've spent more hours than I can count practicing for Alliance Tournaments and hunting supers moving through lowsec and nullsec. The last couple of months I have enjoyed all that skyhook raiding had to offer, killing the occasional traveling super and more recently am involved in a small war that has broken out in lowsec. The reason I am running for CSM is in hopes of keeping the flame going that keeps us wanting to play this game. I have made many friends in the years I have played this game that I have known for almost 15 years and still make new friends to this day. My focus on CSM would be improvements related to PvP for those primarily in lowsec and their interactions with nullsec, as well as with nullsec as on its own. Some of the things I am interested in below. Skyhook Raiding - This is a huge content driver. Admittedly the stealing was too easy, but the proposed changes are bad. Very bad. I hope to help bring some parity to this mechanic where both the aggressor and defender want to interact with it. Equinox changes as a whole started out looking promising, but have been on a gradual decline ever since the first patch. Metenox Moon Drills - This is another big content driver, and fighting over them day in and out for the last month I have a pretty good feeling on the hp amounts that attackers and defenders have to deal with. I think some healthy changes can be made that would put these in a better state. Also I have had some shower thoughts about limiting drills to only harvesting R8 and higher. Force Projection - Eve has become significantly smaller since I started playing, and back in the day we were able to take 50 supers and go north to south in 10 minutes. Between uni wormholes, ansiblexes, zarzakh (prior to recent events), maneuvering the universe became too easy. At least in the past, the wormhole highway required people to put some effort into scanning to get around places. Fozziesov - I personally dislike ever going away from SBUs to the way sov wanding works now. I would like to see some change because the state it is in now isn't particularly fun. Capital/Supercapital Ship Changes - I think there is a lot of work that can be done to better the state of all capitals. Carrier changes were definitely a good start. I would like to see a world where people are at least somewhat interested in using their supers outside of beacons, but cost and effectiveness prevents that. Lancers being used almost exclusively for killing jump freighters also seems like a void that can be filled. Carrier fighters could use some refinement. Contact and Bookmark QOL changes - Allow for more contacts slots (currently 1024) for the purpose of NPSI fleets. Also increase shared bookmark folders from 3 to 5 and maybe add some more bookmark slots to those folders. Pochven - I personally dislike pochven in its entirety, but I especially would like to see some of the isk faucet cut down. I don't have immediate solutions for all these topics, nor do I expect to please everyone, but what I can say is that I am very good at talking to people and I regularly interact with people from all across our community. I want to hear what people's opinions are about all aspects of the game and I hope to be as transparent as possible both with you all and with CCP in hopes of bettering this game we spend too much time playing. I have a ton of experience in this game and hopefully that history can better our future. https://forums.eveonline.com/t/rots-mijnwerker-for-csm-19-your-0-0-non-bloc-and-pi-change-candidate/463110 Hello team, I am Rots Mijnwerker Leader of Out of the Blue. My history in Eve Online has always been about creating content, playing in a community, and growing with the game. My time in EVE truly started in 2005 at the age of 13, playing religiously throughout middle and highschool then well into college. Now after hitting my 30s, it's a lot easier to look back on the ebb and flow of what EVE has been. I've had the pleasure of playing with some great people and fighting others equally as great. I have been encouraged by the EVE community and truly embraced the community building aspect of what the game allows us to collaborate around. I am a very staunch PVPer and sprung headfirst into leadership and FC'ing, today providing almost nightly content for anyone who wants to go forth and shoot. Over the years I have been in many alliances. In some I was the line member or diplomat, in others I was the Head FC, or i lead my own. I have been a part of the following alliances doing my thing in some form or capacity. * Raiden * IEGEX * Red Legion. * Why So Seri0us * Nulli Secunda. * Black Legion. * Insidious. * The Blood Covenant * Darkspawn. * DARKNESS. * VINDICTIVE * FREIGHT TRAIN DIPLOMACY * WE FORM VOLTA * Out of the Blue. * WE FORM BLOB For a period, I took a hiatus and stepped away from the game as I was not happy with where CCP was investing its resources and I had lost interest. In the day and age of COVID 19 – the community was sorely missed, and loneliness set in. Something about being furloughed from the company I build theatrical scenery for and having very little people to talk to while in lock down, feeling unable to express myself in my normal artistic way. That kind of set the tone for why EVE online and the people who play it are important to me. I messaged old friends, and we reformed under the old banners, with all the old history and all the experiences we've had. Today I have an outstanding rapport with MANY groups, alliances, their leaders, and members. My areas of Expertise Content Generation (Lowsec, Nullsec and KSpace) New Player Support Fleet Commanding Fleet Concept Building Alliance Logistics Alliance Management Community Building Risk vs Reward Structure Mechanics Sov Mechanics Eve Story Telling Marketing Honest Feedback Why am i applying for CSM candidacy? The overarching goal for me in CSM 19 would be the promotion of EVE online player base growth. I am passionate about new alliances and i feel having many groups across all walks of space promotes a healthy EVE. I want to be apart of ensuring the player base feels they are getting their time's worth by downloading eve online. The reduction of space work for smaller groups making it easier for content creators to appear and become established is still also a key goal for me since last year's run for CSM 18. I have put a lot of years into the game and feel i would be a good advocate for the community that plays this game, if either by being a conduit or sharer of ideas... https://forums.eveonline.com/t/luke-anninan-for-csm19/462976 Hi, my name is Luke Anninan. After two previous terms (CSM17 and 18) I am applying for my third and final term on CSM19. If successful upon completion of CSM19 I will be “term-locked” and have no intention of running when that expires. Below I have summarised my EVE experience, thoughts on the current state of the game as well as the skills and knowledge I can bring if I was re-elected to the CSM. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to comment on the post, find me in discord (I am in most of the EVE community discords) or mail me in game. My EVE Story:I committed to EVE in 2018 (I had tried it on and off before but it had never really stuck). Spending the first couple of weeks in HighSec then later on moving to scanning Wormholes for exploration sites. After about a month of this I decided to take the plunge into NullSec and joined an ill-fated alliance called Deus Vult. At about the time Skillu evicted them from Wicked Creek, so it was time to find another home. My corporation moved to Fraternity in December 2018 months before the second war with TEST kicked off. It was the most fun I have had in my entire EVE career, yes TiDi was awful but there is nothing like the fights that you are invested in. I became an FC (albeit not a very good one, but found a knack for the planning side of things.) flying with all the friends that I had made. For six months we fought tooth and nail to hold Detorid. The end was always inevitable though but I like to think we put up a good fight and didn't just give up. During this time, When I wasn't in fleets I spent most of my free time running and learning about incursions and other methods of generating income while our home was camped. As is always the case with the loser of any war we started the migration to our new home towards Oasa and Perrigen falls. Those corps that had stayed for the war, burnt out and most went to find new pastures outside of Fraternity. Being too stubborn to quit (and maybe a glutton for punishment) I took on the role of director in Fraternity looking after the non-Chinese speaking corporations (even if there were only a few of us left at the time). Slowly rebuilding after the war, one by one recruiting new corporations and FC's, it taught me about a lot of the sides of the game that you don't always get to see. How to manage large organisations of players, ensuring there's always something for them to log in for, understanding how sovereignty and income generation works as well as the complex industrial chains required to have the big fights people log in for. It was about this time I created my own corporation, Into Oblivion and started recruiting both veteran players and new players alike. It was a great insight into the new player experience and how they found the NPE, how to foster new players and support their journey in Eve. Also, along the way, pointing players at other areas of the game that they may find more enjoyable when/if they decide the NullSec life may not have been for them. Most of all though creating a place where people can just hang out, chill and play the common game that brought us together as a community. Back when the now resolve BRM changes hit there was a clear need to diversify gameplay from just NullSec activities and expand into LowSec mission running, Pochven, Incursions as well other things like NPC burner missions and exporting to markets etc. which led my alliance and me to Vale of the Silent, an area steeped in constant small gang fleets, and LowSec shenanigans. Now most my time is spent on leadership of my alliance and corporation ensuring that pilots have everything they need to prosper in Eve Online... https://forums.eveonline.com/t/kazanir-for-csm19-on-de-blocification/463213 The following text is quoted from a player on one of a few PvP-focused EVE Discords which I lurk in, which I think summarizes the feelings of a wide slice of EVE's playerbase: "Fisk Hrin Hakuli: I think what most of this server actually wants, is a null that isn't held largely by 3 groups - most of us think that the fact that PH holds the insane amount of regions that they do is incredibly bad for the game, and not just for us, but for the null holders that want to go and PvP. It also essentially blocks smaller groups from being independently living in null, especially close to these big null holders. I personally think that a lot of the issues that we complain about would also be fixed, and it would generally be much healthier for null, which is why there is such a big uproar over skyhook changes and ansi changes - we thought that if we interacted with the skyhooks in the gangs we normally play in, along with the ansi nerfs that were introduced at the start of equinox would be enough for the big players to give up a decent amount of sov for other groups to step in and use that space to a much greater degree than they were. I'm saying this all to say, does CCP and the CSM agree at all with us? Do you guys think that the current state of null is where you want it, or do you want much more medium sized independent alliances holding sov and using it actively? Because that's all I think most people on this server want, at the end of the day." For two years I have been on a long campaign to try to illustrate the needed mechanics which would support the goals in the above quote – largely focused on the much maligned “passive income” that EVE's original map game was built on. This may sound odd, as I principally represent one of the large blocs: full of krab power, the Imperium is not the group that requires this type of gameplay to be available. But it is true, and consistent with Goonswarm's policy dating back at least 15 years: we are not here to ruin THE game – only YOUR game. And I really want THE game to last for another few decades, without suffering from the cycle of stagnancy that has always afflicted it. The mechanics required to actually achieve this, though, are counterintuitive at best, and we aren't there yet. But the launch of the Equinox expansion has provided a framework where this is actually possible in nullsec – where before, it simply was not. Why? Well, before Equinox, there was essentially no map – with the exception of truesec, any given nullsec system was essentially the same as any other. In this environment, it is impossible to provide real rewards simply for conquering a star system – there's no way of deciding how much reward any given system should be worth! This is also the exact same reason why Dominion-era ihubs could simply install any upgrade – there was no way to limit them or decide “how much” any given system could do. Whoops. Equinox fixes this, by providing a matrix of resources upon which sov nullsec operates. Many mistakes have been made along the way, but this ultimately should be everyone's goal: If Equinox can also support a full-on Conqueror playstyle over time, it will force open a path by which the big blocs can be meaningfully threatened, made to suffer for ignoring their borders, and their best PvPers even baited into striking out on their own, and subsequently rewarded for doing it... This week we get transported to another world only before we actually get there we get lost in the weeds with random details but after a few minutes we get back on track and then finally get to our destination. And it was an interesting one at that. It takes the normal genre and give the protagonist a set of skills that they had in their previous life but even with that, it ultimately still follows the same tropes for the anime and they also leave out a lot of detail, but even with that it was an entertaining watch. https://forums.eveonline.com/t/mick-fightmaster-for-csm-19-a-whole-ass-wormhole-candidate/462419 Hello friends, I'm Mick Fightmaster. As my good friend Mark's grandpappy would say, “Never half ass anything – you have to go whole ass,” so I'm running as the Whole-Ass Wormhole candidate for CSM19. My EVE Story: I've been all around different places and playstyles in EVE. I started out in high sec running missions with my friend who recommended EVE to me. That slowly snowballed into trying out things in low sec when I experienced a cyno for the first time. I messaged the player in the Chimera (shout out to Tomaz, but he'll never see this) and he invited me to his corp out in null, so my buddy and I joined his group. After getting to know that group of guys, we left null to start wormhole life. That's when I realized I had finally found the ingredients for my favorite playstyle: No local, no gates, no intel channels, and absolute trust in your POS mates. While in wormholes, I spun up alts where I tried out Faction Warfare, low sec small gang and mid-scale PVP, non-bloc sov warfare in nullsec, and a small few week stint of wardec/merc work. Regardless of the type of playstyle I was trying at the time, I always came back to wormholes. Real life kept me away from EVE from late 2014- early 2016 when I joined Sky Fighters and took the plunge back into wormhole space. Since 2016, I've been a member / leadership in No Vacancies, Hard Knocks, Lazerhawks, and now back to No Vacancies after reclaiming the 5/5 Pulsar homeland. Throughout the years since I've had the pleasure of flying with the most experienced and knowledgeable names in WH space, taking part in incredibly challenging, multifaceted fights, and some of the most destructive wars wormhole space has ever seen. I'm happy to call many of the members of the groups I've flown with friends, including those who would be so brave to have my alts in their corps. Shout out to Sven Holstein, Proxay, Stu Brainsurgeo, Darius Caliente, Crizwoo, and Sandy Freir for the opportunity to expand my skill set and knowledge base outside of wormholes into areas like Pochven, low-sec, and non-bloc nullsec sov warfare. Areas of Expertise: High class wormhole PVP + PVE Wormhole mechanics Small to large group evictions Small gang nano warfare Wormhole + kspace Capital warfare Why me? To put it bluntly, I want to be the voice in the room that can easily articulate and explain how CCP's proposed changes would have an impact on wormhole space. Wormholers are a niche and small minority of the EVE community. The isk fielded and destroyed in wormholes can sometimes easily surpass null sec fights with 1/10th of the total players involved. This space is where even the smallest changes can have a serious impact on wormhole life as a whole. At the end of the day, we have to remember that this is CCP's game and they will drive EVE in the direction they want. It's up to me as your hopeful wormhole CSM candidate to make sure those directions don't drive players out of wormhole space, but encourage them to come in and experience what wormhole space has to offer, whether it's for an hour, a week, or permanently! https://forums.eveonline.com/t/dujek-oneye-for-csm19/462972 Hello, I am Dujek Oneye and I am running for CSM19. I am a 10-year veteran of EVE Online. I have an extensive PVP history 14 in all areas of space and enjoy most activities in EVE. For a history of my time in EVE, and what I bring to the CSM click here. I am running for CSM for the second time 2. Last year I was only a handful of votes away from being picked and was eliminated in the runner-up position. I was happy for Kshal and Stitch to round out the last two spots. I thoroughly enjoyed campaigning for the CSM, including talking to many players from all around, as well as the other CSM candidates and CCP. I did several talk show appearances, which you can find in the media section. You should vote for me for a varied and healthy EVE Online. I think the current direction of EVE game design is not promising players more fun than before, and I think the inflation we are seeing in the economy is problematic for people who want to afford fun ships to fly. The risk/reward of activities in EVE has several glaring problems. Policies in short: Continue to make EVE a game that new players want to start playing, and have a community that loves getting new players engaged in the game. Making a larger variety of ships fun, affordable, and viable to fly in all types of space in New Eden. Making space worth living in without needing tons of it. Making space work more meaningful - Equinox was a step in the wrong direction there. Fixing projection instead of introducing changes and then walking them back. Addressing the bugginess of EVE these days. Broadcasted live on Twitch -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/federationfrontlinereport
https://forums.eveonline.com/t/kshal-aideron-for-csm19/462417 I'm Kshal Aideron. I'm currently on CSM18 and am running to return. I started playing in January 2020 and in that short time went from confused newbro to NPSI pilot, FC and the CEO of a 3,000+ player community called Eve Rookies. While I'm an expert on the new player experience, building community, and making Eve more accessible to all, I am also dedicated to the overall game and listen to the concerns of everyone from nullsec to wormholes to Faction Warfare and everyone between. The health of the whole game is my paramount concern. You can get to know more about me here: About Kshal Aideron 9. The tl;dr is: attempted Eve twice and rage uninstalled the 2nd time, but 3rd time it stuck immediately found the NPSI (Not Purple Shoot It) community and am still very active started FCing at 8 months into the game at 1 year created the Eve Rookies website 3 and started making tutorial videos 3 accidentally created the Eve Rookies community 2 at 1.3 years into the game, which has grown to over 3000 members ran for CSM 17 ran for CSM 18 1 and was a CCP pick presented at FanFest 2023 5 and sat on a few panels 4 presented at Eve Amsterdam 2024 So, what's important to me? What am I about? What do you get if you get me onto the CSM again? https://forums.eveonline.com/t/switch-4-for-csm-19/462694/ Firstly, About Me I have played Eve since 2007. I am the CEO of Heretic Army and an alliance exec in Divine Damnation. I also am the lead FC of the public aspect of the Angel Cartel. In my 17 years in this game, I've taken part in ALL aspects of the game from high-sec care bearing to low-sec piracy, and massive null bloc insanity. I also actively fly everything from frigates to supers. I've seen some amazing new things that CCP has introduced, things that failed, and some crazy rebalances and nerfs. Through all the PvP, PvE, and industry, my heart and home has always been as a low-sec pirate. I found my PvP and pirate routes in Minmatar Faction Warfare as one of its lead FCs when it first was introduced in the game. To this day, I still live in Amamake with my Corp/Alliance, though now as part of the Angel Cartel pirate faction. In real life, I have kids, work full time, and volunteer in public safety as a firefighter, EMT, and search and rescue diver. As the Captain of the dive team, I know well how to be a voice of reason, an open communicator, and a proactive leader in facing and fixing challenges ahead. I am not afraid to stand steadfast in my beliefs and have constructive debate. I am also not one to sit idly when it comes to the hard discussions. Why I want to be here One of the biggest reasons I am applying for the CSM is that in all my years in Eve, I've felt like groups such as mine have always drawn the short straw. While I deeply understand the sheer amount of the player base located in null and high sec, I feel like too much representation has been focused there, and with the large groups that have nearly null level interests in low sec.The push for me to finally pursue a CSM spot was the introduction of Pirate FW, its hype, its lackluster release and its inability to keep players engaged. The LP grinding ISK factory that Faction Warfare has become, and the constant AWOX threats, are a morale killer and I would love to be the voice to spearhead changes, both small and large. My campaign is focused on being the voice for the small gang PvP groups, the solo pilots, and the Faction Warfare groups. The people grinding day in and day out trying to carve their small spot in Eve. Even after 17 years, I can't claim to be an expert in all things Eve, I learn new things every day. What you can expect from me, is a CSM representative who will continue to learn and grow with you. Someone who will fight for positive changes for everyone. I will be someone that you can come to with problems and requests, to know that I hear them, and to know that those issues will be addressed with CCP. I want nothing more than to see low sec thrive and to see continued interest from players both new and old, friend or foe. Although I have strong interests/ties to low sec, I want Eve as a whole to thrive as a game and a community. Some of the best friends and biggest laughs I have had in life are with the brothers and sisters I have met here. I want that to continue for another 17 years. Some Key Issues Limited time reopening(s) of SISI (Test Server) throughout the year Curb the LP Farm that FW has become Push for changes in mechanics that result in harsher penalties for AWOXing allied militia members Find meaningful solutions to the flood of bot accounts. Work on mechanics changes that offer meaningful, lasting purposes for pirate faction groups. Fix Zarzakh and FOB mechanics Keep low-sec moons a haven for content Push for more small to mid-size fleet incentives. Ensure positive industry changes that align across the board for both large and small-scale groups. https://forums.eveonline.com/t/phantomite-for-csm-19-pvp/462353 I am Phantomite. I do PvP. Ever since my first taste of combat, I've pursued it across a long and varied career. I enjoy solo, smallgang and fleet combat and have extensive experience in Lowsec and Nullsec in everything from solo frigates to large capital brawls. I have made multiple videos showcasing all sizes of combat. Over the years I have enjoyed having a level of control over dramatic events, taking part in stories sparked by others and merely reading about the exploits of other people and groups. I feel these opportunities are comparatively suppressed in this era, largely due to a frozen status quo, particularly in nullsec. I currently lead my Corporation and Alliance in fleets and direction, and we have seen huge success since the founding two years ago. I have been a member of the CSM one time before and very much hope to build upon the work I started then to bring PvP balance and opportunities that works for the entire game - I strongly believe that for Eve to be at it's busiest, there needs to be better, more fertile ground for new players to create their own stories outside of super large groups, and for existing groups to be able to grow their prominence. There are multiple areas of Eve that I want to help CCP to work on, including but not limited to: -Mass fleet projection mechanics-Structure combat-Tools for smaller groups to get up and running organisationally-Ship and weapon balance to improve the opportunities for closer range fighting in fleet situations-Better PvE opportunities that require and reward working with your friends to complete-FW improvements to encourage PvP, add meaningful tradeoffs for Awoxing and supporting “enemy faction” alts-A long list of “little things” improvements to make inventory management and industrial activity far slicker, bookmark management expansion, FW LP balancing and UI visibility, to name only a few areas. I do not consider myself to be a Lowsec candidate - I want to improve PvP content across all areas of the game, as the interlinking between them all cannot be ignored. I talk to individuals and groups in text and on voice to discuss their takes on major issues with their gameplay, and I want to hear from you too.I message people directly, and accept message requests on Discord, Evemail and voice servers of your chosing. https://forums.eveonline.com/t/milint-arc-trooper-for-csm-19-broad-spectrum-approach/462880/ https://www.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/1fxn168/milint_for_csm_19broad_spectrum_approach/ I believe no introductions are in order for the Regs [Regulars] I am MILINT ARC Trooper. The “Mad Scientist” from Minmatar Space. I have been playing EVE since August 2020. I am applying for CSM to be a voice for a broader base of New Eden. The foundations of EVE Online are the Industrialists, Mining, Hauling, and Exploration Communities. These activities feed into the PVE and PVP sides of EVE Onlines overall ecosystem. I want to put a few things down first to get out of the way. THE MILINT CSM Pledge As a potential CSM member I pledge to complete my term to the fullest ability barring any IRL emergencies or server shutdowns. And use all tools and assets provided for the CSM to participate both directly and indirectly as the situation arises for meeting participation. As a potential CSM member I would like not to be compensated with omega account time or PLEX during my potential CSM term. [If CCP so sees fit, they can give that to randomly selected verified newbros a “Scholarship” (the best kind of ship for a newbro) so they can enjoy EVE online for the duration of my potential term.] The reason why I am doing so is that as a paying customer of my own account, I would rather be a representative in that regard and not having compensation cloud my judgements during my term. I believe the only compensations or note to my potential service, that are justified are unique skins for CSM made for each election. And bound to the accounts of the CSM member [not resellable] and a unique medal of service on our capsuleer public records. As a potential CSM member I pledge to not accept a CCP job offer until the end of my term is completed. I believe it is not fair for players to elect CSM members and then to have them literally vaporize from being a representative into a CCP developer. And in some cases not being replaced by runner up candidates who should have done the job fully. I believe if you are in talks with CCP for developer duties minor or major, community or even volunteer/intern; one should not run in the CSM election because that colors not only their representation but also has alterior motives of being hired due to closer contact with the developers. We should represent our fellow gamers as CSM. As a potential CSM member I pledge to create an avenue of communication for fellow capsuleers on ideas and concepts that have been interesting the player base for some time. Considerations of NDA rules will mean this become more of a one way street, but we need to create an avenue of communication that will allow players to communicate ideas and feedback within reason. Potentially Memo based format could be employed. While discussions over said ideas can be had on the proper created channels. Also discussion of future representative systems will be of interest. Regional Representation in game for example. As a potential CSM member, I faithfully uphold the values of the Minmatar Republic and its allies. Represent its interests and all its protectorates. And to protect those who do business and activities within its space and represent faithfully the tribes before the CSM. [Sworn before the Tribal Council in Pator and Minmatar Republic Parliament and Ministry of Justice and Tribal Liberation.] “I can not make a promise, for something I can not keep.” That is main line of thinking and directive. But I would rather have boundaries and honest policy upfront. But the Pledge will be upheld. Broadcasted live on Twitch -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/federationfrontlinereport

Ever since I started playing Eve in 2015, I've been in love with J-space. From my first death in J-space 8, I knew that this was the deadliest, most hardcore way to play Eve. Not too long after this death, I joined Signal Cartel in hopes of learning more about wormholes. To this day, I attribute almost all of my skills in surviving in wormholes to what I learned during my time with them, and I am grateful to the good people in Eve-Scout who continue to provide their services to all capsuleers. I've spent the last nine years filling the role of nomadic wormholer. I've been in quite a few different wormhole corps, most notably however would be the time i spent in Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters as they taught me the most about hunting in J-space. Currently, I find myself with Spoopy Newbies. As a part of Brave, I've gotten the opportunity to grow much more than I ever have in any of my previous corps. I've just recently gotten my FC tags and am even leading my own content fleet for Brave. I've taught classes, made new friends, and gotten myself killed more times than I can count; and I wouldn't trade it for the world. It is my knowledge and skills as a wormholer that I will bring with me to the CSM. We have all seen in the past that wormhole space hasn't gotten the same level of love that other regions of Eve have gotten and I want this to change. I want the rest of New Eden to see why wormhole space is so fun. Randomly generated content is one of the best ways to find fun in Eve, and I feel as though if this were expanded on through utilizing what's already available with the core system of wormholes, the player base can grow and those of us who are playing now will have more content than they will know what to do with. When you ask what you can expect from me as a candidate, there is one thing above all else that I will strive for; to maximize the fun/hr metric of as many players as possible. At the end of the day, Eve is a video game, and what's the point of playing a video game if you're not having fun with it? I've forgotten this myself at certain points, and it burned me out. Now, however, I'm having some of the most fun that I've ever had in my entire Eve career, and I want to spread that fun for everyone else to enjoy. https://forums.eveonline.com/t/itaer-for-csm-19/463289 Hello everyone, I'm Itaer and I'm running for CSM 19. I've been playing Eve since 2007, through many different play styles in many different areas of space, but my main interest has always been small gang PvP. In real life I'm an astrophysicist, so I have a lot of experience with data science, and I hope to bring that perspective to my discussions with CCP. I respect your time, so I'll keep this relatively short. There are three main things that I would like to focus on as one of your CSM members. Communication. This is a tired subject (particularly when it comes to CSM campaigns), but that doesn't mean it's unimportant. Nearly every player I talk to is frustrated with CCP's communication. Let's take a look at the recent, controversial, update to skyhooks. The blog post (Link) uses vague language, e.g. “taking some of the advantage away from attackers”, “bolster the attractiveness of the structures”, and “To address the imbalance in raid dynamics”. What we don't get is why the structures need to be made more attractive; is adoption low? Are there not enough reagents in the economy? What advantage do the attackers have; is this a timezone problem? Are defenders often late due to a too short link timer? A reader can't understand what CCP actually sees as the problem, and thus, is unable to really judge proposed changes as solutions. This does not create productive conversations, because it lacks a “problem:solution” framework. If, instead, the blog laid out the problem clearly, for example: “Our metrics show that skyhook thefts are happening too often for the average nullsec resident to respond to, and are often happening while people are asleep. We want to slightly tone down the frequency of thefts to reduce the burden of defending your space, and we'd like to add in vulnerability windows so that going to bed isn't as detrimental.” Now it's easy to have productive conversations - for example, a meaningful question might be “how much vulnerability is too much?” Instead, we are left to scratch our heads at decision making which often appears out of touch and arbitrary. Eve players are deeply invested in the game, and are universally interested in why decisions are being made. Treat them as such. As an example of how communication should be done, let's take a look at a time CCP got it right - the Surgical Strike devblog (Link). In this blog post, they lay out specific goals, for example: “[…] there is a desire to begin exploring new rewards and tools for those brave pilots who are willing to get up close and personal.”, as well as why specific changes are being made to achieve those goals: “As a first step in this direction, there will be an increase to the damage of all close range Tech II ammo (excluding exotic plasma) by 15%”. This kind of communication allows players to have specific and productive feedback. As we have all learned, CSM members have very little control over the development direction at CCP. I do not claim, nor intend, to change the way that Eve Online is run. What I can do, however, is listen to how CCP justifies upcoming changes and explain that to you, the community, as much as allowed by the NDA. TL;DR, often CCP does not sufficiently explain why changes are made. I want to communicate as much as possible with the community regarding why changes are made, and encourage CCP to do the same... https://forums.eveonline.com/t/frippyy-for-csm-19-nullsec-pvp-pve/462949 Hello I'm Frippyy, I'm a member of Karma fleet and Goonswarm and I'm a resident of nullsec. I am running as an individual candidate and my vision for my campaign is of improvement and forward thinking for EVE's progress as the amazing game we all love. I believe I would be a suitable candidate for CSM19 as I am eager to maintain the quality of EVE and its community by listening to and spreading the voices of the players so that YOU can have your voice heard! I started playing this game in march of 2024 and I have been entranced by it ever since, the community of this game is unlike anything I've ever seen before and the relationship of corpmates and within alliances are akin to family and I want this legacy to continue! I am aware that as a new player I am at a disadvantage, however I am passionate about EVE and can still be of use to the CSM as a fresh set of eyes on the game and new ideas. If nominated as a member I would do all I could to progress and improve the experience of all players new and old by spreading the voice of the player base and making sure that progress can continue in Nullsec's development as an almost living body. I won't solely focus on Nullsec as new players aren't there, so below you will find a few of my ideas on how Highsec can be tweaked for a smoother new player introduction. From what I've seen In EVE, community means everything to a lot of players which is why I would put the community's wants and needs first and do everything I can to help and support all. The areas I would focus on, including but not limited to: Keep the PvP element of Nullsec engaging by improving the PvP combat opportunities within Nullsec by raising the idea of different PvP activities that don't revolve just around the ESS. Provide better and more enticing PvE activities across High, Low and Nullsec that reward players for teamwork or skill that provide a chase worthy prize. This could be new sites or escalations as from talking to fellow corpmates who are avid ratters, myself included, Ishtar spinning and capital escalations can get tedious and provide little to no exciting rewards. Give new and returning players a quick but effective run down on game mechanics and information, as the current tutorial takes a long time and for new players that can be off putting. Also I would discuss starter quests aside from the current ones on certain specifics of gameplay such as how to PvP, fit ships effectively and how to efficiently PvE. Put forth the idea of an ESS rework as i know from talking to many people that they find the current system frustrating at times. I talk to Corp and Alliance members every day and some of the ideas listed above stem from conversations we've had. Saying this I talk to many people about their views on the current state of the game and I want to hear from you too! I accept in game messages, respond to Evemails and Discord dms, so please feel free to reach out and give me your two pence on EVE as I'd love to hear what you think. My discord is: _frippy My ingame name is: Frippyy Feel free to use either to contact me. Thank you for reading my statement and I look forward to the future o/ Broadcasted live on Twitch -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/federationfrontlinereport
