Jackson and Zammit are here to talk about expanding the game! We go over some terrible ideas we had and re-purposing old ideas into brand new concepts. The Kickstarter is going live on March 18 4pm UK time, we'll be asleep little babies as it's 3am for us but that means we're going to be playing the Tabletop Simulator version of Jarren's Outpost the day before AND the day of the launch on the Sanspants Radio Twitch channel. Keep abreast of socials (the SP+ Discord and the Facebook stuff and nonsense group, everything else I hate looking at) for the exact times but atm it's roughly looking like 7pm Melbourne time on Tuesday 18 and 9am Melbourne time Wednesday 19. Also seid gespannt! Pfiat eich!

Greetings fellow witches, wizards, warlocks, and everything in between! Arthurian Legends was the first expansion set for Sorcery, having been released in October of 2024, and we are finally going to break it down card by card in our Full Set Review. There was so much to talk about that it had to be broken down into 2 parts though, so this part 1 will be covering the Avatars, as well as the Ordinary and Exceptional rarity cards from the set. The most exciting part about this episode though is that I am joined by my good buddy and active Sorcery community member Ochoa! Clean and simple, does what it says on the tin. newrecruit.eu - Platform for armybuilding developed for 9th age. Can also generate unit cards that include all relevant rules for each unit for easy reference. Free to use.  www.warhall.eu - Platform for playing tabletop wargames. Great for practice or trying out new ideas. Designed and created for use with 9th age and supports all the essential Old World mechanics natively. Do you remember the early days of COVID lockdowns, when there was a sudden surge of interest in virtual tabletop gaming? Tabletop Simulator, Vassal, Roll20, and old-fashioned web cams suddenly felt indispensable. Even conventions tried to adapt with new virtual formats.  That was two years ago, which makes this a good time to ask, "What happened?" Are those virtual platforms still popular? Are you using them as much as you used to? What will virtual tabletop gaming look like in 5 or 10 years? Today we're talking to an expert in the field--Jim Owczarski of Armchair Dragoons. Jim is a prolific scenario designer for Tabletop Simulator, adapting all manner of traditional miniatures games, including several you've seen on Little Wars TV. After you listen to today's podcast, we encourage you to check out Jim's active blog updates on Armchair Dragoons and see photos and video of some virtual games!

Episode 75 of Saves Together is a lot like episode 29 in that we're talking about Stardew Valley... but this time it's Stardew Valley: The Board Game and not Stardew Valley the videogame.. yeah! That's right... we played a co-op boardgame and now we're talking all about it. We even forced it through the co-op factors machine to see what comes out and it kind of worked! Anyways, tune in now and hear all about our thoughts as we talk about how co-op boardgaming compares to co-op videogaming and how Stardew Valley compares to Stardew Valley. Other topics include: .hack//G.U. Last Recode, Rune Factory 5, Panic's Playdate, consoles with personality, theme erasure aka themeicide, Tabletop Simulator, THPS 1+2, croquet and more

James Bond 007: Role Playing In Her Majesty's Secret Service Join Josh and Brandon as they enter a world of espionage, intrigue, and dice-rolling, with Victory Games' TTRPG “Role Playing in Her Majesty's Secret Service”. A brief news item about Wizards of the Coast rebooting and retconning in their latest Errata to eliminate more insensitive portrayals and stereotyping from Dungeons and Dragons. Not surprising and another step in their reaction to 2020. It's a good move.  (01:19) A second item about Ernie (son of Gary) Gygax's new TSR and its nonsensical lawsuit against Wizards of the Coast for trademarks of old TSR content. They also were demanding removal of WotC's legacy disclaimer. Come on, now. Main discussion: 1983's “James Bond 007” roleplaying game from Victory Games. It places you in a world of espionage taken straight from the world of Ian Fleming's master spy: Bond, James Bond. You can play as known quantities from the movies such as Bond, Felix Lighter, Anya Amasova and others or create your own Double-O agent (or rookie). We also talk about our favorite Bond movies!
