Warner Bros. Discovery is reportedly considering splitting into TWO companies to help offset its massive debt load. The company has been striking out at the box office, and they're not making up for it in streaming. Speaking of which, Netflix is just fine. But they're dropping their lowest-priced tier to increase revenue. Maybe Warner Bros. would've been better off just making content for Netflix instead of launching HBO Max...? ➡️ Tip Jar and Fan Support: http://ClownfishSupport.com ➡️ Official Merch Store: http://ShopClownfish.com ➡️ Official Website: http://ClownfishTV.com ➡️ Audio Edition: https://open.spotify.com/show/6qJc5C6OkQkaZnGCeuVOD1 Warner Bros. may split due to financial challenges, potentially selling off assets like DC Comics, and the streaming service could be acquired by Netflix. 00:00 Warner Bros. may split in two to boost stock price, as Netflix drops cheapest tier. 02:07 Warner Bros. may split due to failing stock prices and debt, Netflix drops cheapest tier, Rooster Teeth and Cartoon Network shut down, and a new podcast with Luke will be available on Patreon. 04:10 Warner Bros. "12:24 Minutes"! Mini short episodes that were recorded by ourselves this past fall when we were busy with the college semester (more will be explained in both episodes), aka our Korra S2 era. Consider these as Episode 1.5 before the next ones now that we have a set plan for season 3. Will we continue Minutes from time to time? Maybe! In this mini episode of 12:24 Minutes, Shay discusses their thoughts about her first watch of not one, but TWO Netflix originals: “The Mitchells vs the Machines”* and “Wendell & Wild”. We love two badass teen girls! We hope you enjoy both mini episodes of reviewing our respective movies that we've recently seen! Fear not as we still have a plan for the rest of Season 3. Stay tuned. Welcome to TV Break, where Pop Break's Podcasts Editor Alex Marcus is joined by editor-in-chief Bill Bodkin, and TV Columnist Josh Sarnecky to talk about the happenings in television. Here's the format of the show: The Best Thing I Saw on TV Last Month – Alex, Bill, and Josh talk about a show/episode/event they liked from the last month including AppleTV Plus's The Morning Show; HBOMAX's The Other Two, Titans, & The Sopranos; & Netflix's Midnight Mass & The Great British Baking Show. News Break – Alex, Bill, and Josh discuss Netflix's billion dollar deal with the Roald Dahl Story Company for the exclusive rights to the entire Roald Dahl library, which Netflix intends to turn into an interconnected universal across tv, film, and games. Streaming Wars – Alex, Bill, and Josh pick a streamer they think “won the month” based on new shows airing/upcoming shows announced etc. This month, everyone agrees that Netflix won the month thanks to the hit fall film festival buzz (The Power of the Dog, The Guilty), returning TV shows (The Great British Baking Show, Dear White People, Sex Education, The Circle, Too Hot To Handle), new TV shows (Squid Game, Midnight Mass), trailers (Bridgerton S2, Stranger Things S4, Cowboy Bebop), a Britney Spears documentary, AND winning the most Emmys in one year of all time, including best Limited Series (The Queen's Gambit) and Best Drama (The Crown). Series Spotlight – Alex, Bill, and Josh watched Disney Plus's anime anthology series Star Wars: Visions. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/popbreaktv/message

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Two VERY different kinds of holiday films. Both over the top but in much different ways. Intro, the band is back together but very remote. Roger is Bah humbug about Christmas but Chris and Grayson love it! 2020 is a terrible year, but not as bad as the comet that his the planet millions of years ago. Christmas plans- Roger will binge drink. Chris just hoped to "survive" Christmas, whatever that means. 0:05:40 - Box-office, upcoming releases 0:7:50 **NEW EGMENT** What's Streaming? HULU KLAUS, Dir. Chris Columbus 0:54:20 - FATMAN, Dir. Eshom Nelms and Ian Nelms The Christmas Chronicles: Part 2 (Netflix) Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn are part of the allure here- and as they should be along with Tyrese Gibson, Malcolm McDowell, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley. As a part two to Netflix's original Christmas Chronicles in which a brother and sister had to help save Christmas. Part two is no different. Once again, the sister and step brother must help Santa and Mrs. save Christmas as they get sucked into a portal by the evil elf turned human, Belsnickle. Tis one has a huge amount of camp and Christmas spirit, BUT that's about it. (3/10) Fatman (VOD) This is one of the season's best movies, hands down. Mel Gibson just SHINES as Chris K, a real life broken Santa Clause that the script immediately commits to and doesn't look back. Him, Mrs. Claus and his elven work force are contracted by the U.S. government to help with building military vehicles to supplement financially because, "All I have is loathing for a world thats forgotten." That statement fits perfectly with Mel as an actor. Walton Goggins is an assassin hired to kill Santa. You can think you know where this movie is going, but you really don't. But you will absolutely enjoy this. (6.5/10) Hosted, produced and mixed by Grayson Maxwell and Roger Stillion. Guest appearance by Christopher Boughan. Music by Chad Wall. Quality Assurance by Anthony Emmett. Visit the new Youtube channel, "For the Love of Cinema" to follow and support our short video discussions. Roger wears aviators! Welcome back NAKE'd listeners! This week we decided to use some GenZ terms, where our step up in adulting is, our thoughts on the Aaron Hernandez documentary on Netflix, how Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) could have been a factor in his behavior (as well as what it is and how it affects someone's mind), how we think Wendy Williams just doesn't know when to stop, how Laredo proposed the first plastic ban in Texas, was successfull in enacting it, it was also deemed illegal to ban plastic bags in Texas because of the Laredo Downtowm Assocciation suing the city (information from Netflix's Broken), not most places accept recycling (apartments and condo complexes), where our recycled products end up (spoilers! malaysia), eco-friendly alternatives to plastic, and how the evolution of plastic will probably take longer than the evolution of cars from fuel to electric. A sober episode was always going to happen, it was inevitable. This is that episode. While they adjust to recording without booze, the guys talk about the reasons behind said sober episode. The Chad gives an update on the $40 Self-Serve withdrawal fiasco and Sid talks about a horrible coloured car. Two Netflix decisions are discussed, the Daredevil cancellation and the just announced live-action Cowboy Bebop adaptation. Then it’s off to the Trailer Park for The Lion King, Artemis Fowl and Happy Death Day 2U. All this on a sober episode that is no different to any of the previous eight, well, minus the drunken slurring.
