In this episode, we interview Ruthie, the founder of a marketing agency called The Consistency Corner.  Ruthie shares her journey from helping a retail brand skyrocket from $20 million to over $100 million dollars in revenue, emphasizing the importance of being clear on a brand's values, mission, vision, and target client as the cornerstone of effective marketing. She discusses her personal struggle and revelations about social media usage, leading to the creation of the Instagram nine grid strategy. This strategy is designed to help businesses maintain a professional presence on social media without it consuming their lives, aligning with her view of social media as a part of but not the whole marketing strategy. Additionally, Ruthie delves into broader marketing advice, highlighting her success equation: time plus consistency plus intensity, multiplied by belief, equals results. This formula is presented as a way to achieve desired outcomes across various domains. The podcast ends with a discussion on the unrealistic expectation of overnight success and the real, oftentimes lengthy, journey to achieving substantial results in the business world.Examples of the 9 Grid Strategy on Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/theconsistencycornerhttps://www.instagram.com/easyscalingLearn more about the 9 grid strategy here:https://www.theconsistencycorner.com/decide 00:32 Ruthie's Journey: From Corporate to Marketing Agency Founder01:10 The Power of a Clear Marketing Foundation02:10 Ruthie's Best Marketing Story: Overcoming Social Media Burnout05:03 Introducing the Instagram Nine Grid Strategy11:30 The Success Equation for Entrepreneurs and Marketers

What stage of your entrepreneurial journey are you currently in? Are you finding joy and fulfillment in each stage, or are you waiting for some future milestone to feel satisfied? Scott Ritzheimer shares the importance of embracing and enjoying each stage of the entrepreneurial journey. As a founder, it's crucial to recognise the value and joy available at every step, instead of postponing happiness until reaching a specific milestone. Scott highlighted the significance of understanding the seven distinct stages of the founder's evolution and the corresponding skill sets required for each stage. However, what resonated deeply was the emphasis on finding joy in the present. It's about acknowledging the unique experiences, challenges, and growth opportunities of the current stage. Take a moment to appreciate where you are in your entrepreneurial journey. Embrace the learning, the growth, and even the setbacks. Each stage holds its own beauty and value, contributing to your overall growth as a visionary founder. If you want to reach early retirement, especially in your thirties, you'll need to take some big risks. Today's guest turned down what would have been a dream salary to many people, choosing to work for himself while making close to a third as much as a job would have paid him. He put in the time and sweat, making just enough money to survive for over a decade, living as frugally as he could so he could roll everything back into his business. Then, overnight, he became a multimillionaire. And guess what? You can, too. One day, at the age of thirty-four, Jeremy Schneider found himself $2,000,000 richer than he had been the day before. He had successfully sold a company he'd been building for a decade, making him, his family, and his employees wealthy in the process. Then, he did what every burnt-out founder does: travel the world, play volleyball and video games, and get some much-needed rest. But soon after, he decided to return to work, focusing on something much more important. In this episode, Jeremy gives a masterclass on the right way to build your business, how to sell it for millions more than you were originally offered, and exactly what you should do with the money afterward to STAY financially free. In This Episode We Cover How to reach early retirement in your thirties by building (and selling) a business When it makes sense to take a paycheck vs. bet on yourself  How companies are bought and sold and the negotiations behind closed doors The MASSIVE amount of taxes Jeremy had to pay after selling his business What Jeremy did with his $2,000,000 payday that set him up for life And So Much More! From real estate investment nuances to the subtle art of charitable deductions, the trio covers ground that could redefine your approach to taxes and long-term wealth. 3 Key Lessons: Structuring your business for tax efficiency and engaging in proactive tax planning can reveal significant tax-saving opportunities, especially for individuals with business or investment income between the one to five million mark. Identifying these opportunities requires expertise, and consulting with a tax specialist is crucial for personalized tax strategies. Investment vehicles such as real estate can provide not only passive income but also potential tax benefits. Understanding and qualifying for the real estate professional status or delving into oil and gas investments can be game-changers for offsetting other forms of income, including W-2 earnings and capital gains, with the right documentation and strategy in place. Infinite Banking and Roth IRA alternatives present unique advantages and limitations based on individual financial goals. Entrepreneurs, in particular, might find the standard Roth IRA restrictions unappealing compared to more flexible strategies, and it's important to consider all investment avenues, including those that are often less discussed in traditional media.  Resources: Reach out to Mark at info@markperlbergcpa.com Website - https://www.markperlbergcpa.com/ Schedule your Discovery Call with Anthony or Cameron here  http://bit.ly/iwc15podcast  Check our online course at www.InfiniteWealthCourse.com Buy Becoming Your Own Banker by R. And this is what we're going to talk about on this episode with my Social Method Society member Riz Amin! LISTEN NOW Riz will walk us through as we talk the basic legals every entrepreneur must know: Consider your business structure and have insurance in place. Will you be a sole trader or a company? If you choose to operate as a sole trader, remember that your personal assets are on the line. In this case, having the right insurance in place is essential for protecting yourself. Additionally, make sure to have the necessary legal documents for your solo venture. If you opt for a company structure, your personal assets are not on the line, but insurance is still critical. Have a website with clearly defined terms and conditions and a privacy policy. The T's and C's not only outline the rules and expectations for visitors to your website, they also limit your liability and empower you to repurpose any testimonials or reviews you receive These legal safeguards define expectations, protect sensitive information, and provide comfort to your customers. Arrangement Agreement with your suppliers, contractors and subcontractors.Take the time to read and understand any agreements offered to ensure your interests are safeguarded. Protecting your intellectual property with copyrights and trademarks.By safeguarding your unique name, you lay the foundation to expand your brand and create more products under its umbrella. Combining copyright protection through terms and conditions and trademark registration is one of the best ways to safeguard your work as a coach, course owner, digital product creator, surface pattern designer, photographer, graphic designer, etc! So ladies, don't be afraid of your legals. Welcome to the What's Next! Podcast with Tiffani Bova.    This week I'm thrilled to bring you an episode of What's Next! Podcast with a powerful duo, Catalina Daniels and James Sherman who are co-authors of Smart Startups: What Every Entrepreneur Needs to Know.   Catalina spent the first 17 years of her career at McKinsey, where she became a partner. She left McKinsey to become an entrepreneur and eventually an angel investor. She is a venture partner at Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator, a prominent New York-based tech accelerator where she mentors U.S. entrepreneurs and helps non-U.S. entrepreneurs expand into the U.S.    Jim started his career at Bain as a consultant and then spent several years working in media with Time Inc. and Pearson. In 1997, he launched the Internet division of Martha Stewart Living. He then became a serial Internet entrepreneur and an active angel investor in New York startups. He's been a mentor to entrepreneurs and sits on the board of Harvard Business School's Alumni Angels of New York.    THIS EPISODE IS PERFECT FOR… anybody looking to gain some pearls of wisdom about entrepreneurship.    TODAY'S MAIN MESSAGE… entrepreneurship is a challenging journey and real experience from fellow founders is the most useful advice. Catalina and James interviewed eighteen HBS graduates and entrepreneurs who shared real-life experiences founding businesses. In this conversation, they share some of their findings - from the power of a great business model to strategies for scaling.    WHAT I LOVE MOST… using an ideation triangle to determine whether an idea is viable and assessing these criteria: size of the opportunity, relevant skills, and passion.   Running Time: 28:20   Subscribe on iTunes   Find Tiffani on Social: Facebook Twitter LinkedIn   Find Catalina Online: LinkedIn   Find James Online: LinkedIn   Catalina + James' Book: Smart Startups: What Every Entrepreneur Needs to Know
