The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In 11/22/25. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. This weekly broadcast examines current events from across the globe to learn what's happening in all areas of people activity. We cultivate Counter-Racist Media Literacy by scrutinizing journalists' word choices and using logic to deconstruct what is reported as "news." We'll use these sessions to hone our use of terms as tools to reveal truth, neutralize Racists/White people. ANTIBLACKNESS After days of protests and anxious waiting, the 62-year-old Whitestown, Indian homeowner who shot and killed a non-white cleaner who arrived at the wrong address has been named and charged. Curt Anderson, Racist Suspect, faces voluntary manslaughter charges for killing Maria Florinda Rios Perez De Velasquez earlier this month. Again, Whitestown is a Racially Restricted Region. In Texas, a White Texas Department of Public Safety officer was on duty during an college tackle football game between the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Texas A&M Aggies. The visiting Gamecocks' wide receiver Nyck Harbor, privileged black male, scored a touchdown and jogged up the home team's tunnel as he decelerated. The White male Texas DPS officer was walking towards Harbor in the tunnel and delivered a vicious shoulder shove followed by a verbal assault. The officer was allegedly removed from duty after this incident went viral. #EndStageWhiteSupremacy INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 720.716.7300 CODE 564943#

Maria Florinda Rios Perez was born in the area of the world known as Guatemala and worked in the US as a housekeeper, is believed to have gone to the residence where she was killed thinking she was hired to clean the house. The killer has not been identified or arrested one week after the shooting. Importantly, Whitestown is a Racially Restricted Region that is specifically mentioned in James Loewen's book, Sundown Towns. This region has a long, documented history of excluding black people. After five years leading apartment development for Indianapolis-based real estate firm Birge & Held, Jarod Brown decided he wanted a business with his name on the door. So he struck out on his own in late 2022 and soon hung his shingle for Brown Capital Group on an historic building in Broad Ripple. As a developer, he hit the ground running with an impressive set of established relationships and a strong track record in central Indiana. He currently is working on several major apartment projects in various stages of development in the Indy area, including The Grounds, a 236-unit project at 22nd and Central; The Row, a three-building complex by the Monon Trail at 22nd Street; Rosedale Hills Apartments, a 132-unit project on the south side of Indianapolis; and The Grove, a 188-unit complex in Whitestown. For his firm's headquarters, Brown bought the former Broad Ripple Library building at 6219 Guilford Ave. The 76-year-old building is currently under renovation for BCG's offices, as well as for co-working space the firm plans to offer. Interviewing Brown in the old children's reading room, IBJ Podcast host Mason King took this opportunity to learn more about a bread-and-butter element of IBJ's news coverage: real estate development. Brown gives an insider's view of the most important elements of his strategy, the vital task that dominates his time, and the whole process of creating apartment projects from identifying desirable land to swinging open the doors to tenants. And Brown sees his headquarters as an investment in the future of Broad Ripple Village, which he believes has its best years ahead of it. The IBJ Podcast is brought to you by Taft.

(00:00 - 27:38) - Kevin Bowen is out on this Friday edition of Kevin & Query as he is taking an early Father's Day weekend. Marc Dycton slides over to the host seat and joins Jake Query in talking sports on The Fan. Jake begins by teasing Marc about a mega gas station that is moving in to Whitestown, Indiana.....Wally's a competitor to Buccee's. Indiana is about to have a gas station turf war with Wally's and Wawa coming to town in the near future. Sports talk begins around the Colt's OTAs wrapping up. Do players take it easy just before training camp and recover, or do you begin a personal training program to be at peak performance before training camp? Query believes that a player's position within the organization or experience within the league may determine what they choose to do as rookies would be more likely to train harder. Pacer's President of Basketball Operations Kevin Pritchard reportedly ate with Kansas small forward/shooting guard after his workout with the team. (27:39 - 33:24) - Morning Checkdown (33:25 - 42:22) - The first segment comes to a close with return to Jonathan Taylor trade talk. Jake ponders if it is time to trade in Taylor for future pieces in the draft, or if he is someone they could keep around at a lighter pay grade given the current free agent market around running backs. The running back position is very undervalued in today's NFL. Jake could not even name the leading rusher in the NFL last season. (42:23 - 1:08:26) - Greg Rakestraw kicks off the eight o'clock hour and picks up the Jonathan Taylor conversation. Rakestraw thinks that Taylor is looking at a short-term contract no matter where he goes. No NFL team is in a position to offer running backs anything longer than three years and even that is stretching it for a back in the current NFL landscape. Taylor's best bet is likely to stay with the Colts as Indianapolis has a bit more money to throw around given their current quarterback situation. Jake wants to know where the Colts have the greatest amount of depth and wealth, Rakestraw responds with a potential surprising answer of the Tight-End position. The biggest question going into training camp is who the quarterback for the Colts will be going into week 1 of the regular season. Everything about first-round draft pick Anthony Richardson seems right for him to have the start on week 1, but when the bright lights are on will he be ready? Rakestraw winds down the conversation by talking about the IHSAA boys state finals in baseball later on tonight. (1:08:27 - 1:26:33) - From one guest into another as Dustin Dopirak of the Indy Star calls in to the program. Jake begins by issuing a formal apology for mispronouncing his name for the 30th time. The guys want to know if there is any truth to the report that Kevin Pritchard and Gradey Dick got dinner after his workout with the Pacers last night. Dopirak says it is entirely possible, especially since Dick was the only player in the workout last night. The situation might be different if it was a full 6-7 player event, but with just one player the session likely had a more personal feel. According to Dopirak, Gradey Dick is a player that could fit well within the Pacers organization especially as a wing shooter. He could be a bench player that fits into Buddy Hield's role if Hield ever were traded or did not re-sign with the team. Finally, Marc poses the ever-important question to Dopirak, who will the Pacers select with their first pick in the 2023 NBA Draft? (1:26:34 - 1:30:07) - Pat Sajak is stepping down as the host of Wheel of Fortune, who will replace him as host and will it be a former sports star? The guys are going to talk more about it at the top of the hour. (1:30:08 - 1:59:01) - Marc and Jake give their picks for sports themed replacement hosts for Wheel of Fortune after Pat Sajak steps down. What former Hoosier sports stars could potentially stand behind the wheel? How much has Jeff Saturday's interim head-coach stint with the Colts hurt his likeability? No one has heard from him since he didn't get the head coaching position, except for a tweet of him on a boat. A bit of breaking news mid segment, former Indiana Pacer Mike Dunleavy Jr. reportedly has been named the new General Manager of the Golden State Warriors. What about if Shaq or Charles Barkley hosted Wheel of Fortune?(1:59:02 - 2:05:27) - Pop Quiz (2:05:28 - 2:18:40) - Jake wants people's opinions on the best of four songs, more Wheel of Fortune host suggestions, and more Wally's vs. Buc-ee's talk. Jonathan Taylor contract negotiations to close out the episode.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
