In a move seen as a test run for intimidation tactics during the midterm elections, Donald Trump is reportedly sending poll watchers to a few polling places around the United States. Rick Hasen, professor of law and political science at UCLA, explains why the steps Trump is taking this year may only be a dress rehearsal for how he intends to disrupt the 2026 election which could cost him control of Congress.Even though incompetence and corruption are endemic in the Trump administration and can often explain the shoddy work of Trump staffers, the poorly supported legal cases against James Comey, Letitia James, and Adam Schiff reveal that these cases are less about winning and more about trying to drag people who Donald Trump doesn't like through the mud. Michael Schmidt, investigative reporter for the New York Times, talks with Jen Psaki about the point of these political prosecutions being to smear the subjects, not actually win the cases. Who is the devil? What does he do and which strategies does he use the most? In this message, Lead Pastor Jamie Nunnally shares part 2 of our "Not Today, Satan" series as we learn about our enemy. Revelation 12:7-9 (NLT): Then there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon... the dragon lost... This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan... was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.Satan – Hebrew: "adversary" or "opponent"Devil – Greek: "slanderer" or "accuser"Possible references in Ezekiel 28 and Isaiah 14 suggest Satan's former name was Lucifer and that he was beautiful, possibly musical. These verses address earthly kings but seem to also hint at a supernatural being behind them. What we know for sure:Satan is a fallen angel. He can't read minds, isn't everywhere at once, and isn't God's equal. He's a created being who got fired for insubordination. The Bible says:1 John 5:19: The world is under the control of the evil one.John 12:31: Satan is the ruler of this world.Ephesians 2:2: "Prince of the power of the air"—he works through culture, not oxygen. He can't make you sin but makes sin look good.Satan's Four Tactics:Deception 2 Corinthians 11:14: Satan disguises as an angel of light. John 8:44: He's the father of lies. In Eden, he didn't force Eve—he questioned truth. His lies sound logical but are lethal. Scripture silences the serpent.Accusation Revelation 12:10: He's the "accuser of the brethren." Romans 8:1: No condemnation in Christ. Satan attacks identity to rob you of authority. Don't echo hell's accusations against others.Intimidation 1 Peter 5:8: The devil prowls like a roaring lion. 1 John 4:18: Perfect love casts out fear. He can't stop God's plan, but fear might.Temptation 1 Thessalonians 3:5: He's the tempter. 1 Corinthians 10:13: God always provides a way out. Temptation offers a shortcut to a legitimate need. Confess temptations—not just sins—to resist better. The Devil is DefeatedLuke 10:18-19: Jesus saw Satan fall and gave us authority.Matt. 25:41: Hell is his final destination—not ours. You follow the one who led your life.Your Battle Plan:James 4:7: Submit to God. Resist the devil. He'll still lie, accuse, roar, and tempt—but stand firm.Ephesians 6:11: Put on God's armor and stand.La Jument LighthouseThis French lighthouse didn't stop the storm—but it didn't move.Isaiah 59:19: "When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard..."When Satan attacks—just say: "Not today, Satan."Are you standing firm against Satan?

Sometimes obedience leads to open doors. Other times, it leads straight into hardship. But Acts 5:41 reminds us that when we suffer for the sake of Christ, it's not a sign we're off course. It's evidence we're walking in step with Him.In this episode, Angie and Susie explore what it means to be counted worthy of suffering for the name of Jesus. They unpack the surprising joy the apostles found in persecution, and how we can anchor our hearts to that same joy when obedience feels costly. This conversation is about recognizing God's presence in suffering and discovering that even our pain can be purposeful when we remember who we're walking with.Acts 5:41 (NIV)The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name. https://livesteadyon.com/https://susiecrosby.com/ https://www.logos.com/https://enduringword.com/https://www.wordhippo.com/https://www.biblegateway.com/https://www.blueletterbible.org/John D. The once-illustrious University of Fort Hare has been in the headlines for Capture by a Corruption Mafia. But despite a spate of arrests, there has been no return to normality at the institution with governance being "almost non-existent". In this interview with BizNews, Grant Abbott, the General Secretary of the National Tertiary Education Union, and suspended SRC President Aphelele Khalakahla lay bare the culture of intimidation that now persists. “There is a prevailing sense of fear on campus…victimisation that continues against staff and against students. You would think that by now, with things at an advanced stage in terms of the court processes, with all the people that have been arrested that things will start normalising at the university, but it's actually not. It's continuing - and I would even say it's getting worse… Anyone who wants to speak out gets silenced,” charges Abbott. Khalakahla says: “We knew that obviously, even if we use university processes and escalate matters within the sector, we are going to be victimised. I am going to be the first victim. Calling for the head of Vice-Professor Sakhela Buhlungu, Abbott says: “…he needs to be relieved of his position with immediate effect. And if that doesn't happen, then the Minister needs to act.”

We're living in a world where evil is rebranded as progress, silence is mistaken for peace, and truth is traded for opinion. But Scripture shows us, just like David on the battlefield against Goliath, that evil grows when it goes unnamed. Intimidation loses its power the moment we call it out for what it is and declare God's truth in its place. In this message, we unpack why the real fight isn't physical but spiritual, why silence fuels giants, and how your words can set the stage for victory. It's time to stop bowing to intimidation and start standing boldly in God's authority.

Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein have consistently described how intimidation was one of his primary tools of control, ensuring their silence and compliance. Many testified that he surrounded himself with wealth, influence, and a carefully cultivated aura of untouchability, which made speaking out feel impossible. Epstein reportedly warned some victims that he had powerful friends who could ruin their lives if they tried to resist or expose him. Others recalled the presence of armed security, locked doors, and the isolation of being flown to private islands or estates, all of which heightened the sense that escape wasn't an option. These tactics made young women feel trapped in a system where Epstein held all the power.Beyond threats of retaliation, survivors explained that Epstein's intimidation extended into psychological manipulation. He would remind them of their vulnerability, their youth, or their lack of resources, exploiting these insecurities to keep them compliant. Some survivors said he kept meticulous records and hinted he had leverage on anyone who crossed him, reinforcing the perception that he could destroy them socially or legally. This culture of fear ensured that even those who wanted to break away often stayed silent for years. Their accounts make clear that intimidation was not incidental to Epstein's crimes but a deliberate, calculated strategy to maintain control and prolong the abuse while keeping outsiders from intervening.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7779829/amp/Virginia-Roberts-posts-chilling-Twitter-message-claiming-Im-not-suicidal.htmlBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

Slam The Gavel welcomes Jackie Sample from DuPage, Illinois to the podcast. Jackie shared what judges have put her through in the state court as well as in the federal level. Jackie was repeatedly and unreasonably threatened with jail by Judge Orel after stating that her spouse filed false financial affidavits and for allowing a reporter to interview her. Judge Orel was forced to retire in December 2024, however still collects a pension. Judge Alvarado also threatened Jackie for trying to present an emergency motion and blocked her from speaking. She also issued an unlawful order, then abruptly recused herself after Jackie noted these incidents. Another judge, Judge Cerne removed himself from her case after she noted him not allowing her to present her motion, representing her spouse from the bench and so much more. Now in a federal lawsuit, Judge Andrea Wood is beginning to follow the same pattern as the judges before her.... Hydra fights, Dark Sun dilemmas, Unearthed Arcana chaos—what could go wrong? Want more Unearthed Arcana deep dives? The RPGBOT.Podcast has you covered. You can find our backlog of episodes on every major podcast platform, where we break down the latest D&D playtest material and show you how to wrangle it into your campaigns without summoning your own TPK. Show Notes In this episode, the RPGBOT.Podcast crew saddles up for an apocalyptic romp through Pathfinder Hydra encounters, the gritty survival world of Dark Sun, and the latest Unearthed Arcana subclasses. We start by revisiting a Hydra battle that demanded every ounce of tactical brilliance (and a fair bit of screaming). From there, we dive deep into Dark Sun—where scarcity, moral dilemmas, and Mad Max vibes dominate play. The hosts then dig into new subclass content: the eco-warrior Circle of Preservation Druid, the crowd-pleasing Gladiator Fighter, the life-siphoning Defiled Sorcerer, and the fear-driven Sorcerer King. Along the way, we tackle the eternal question of whether Strength is viable for Intimidation, explore multi-classing optimization, and share DM tips for balancing player knowledge with campaign secrets. It's a mix of theorycrafting, subclass reviews, and a healthy dose of comedy—because what's Dark Sun without a laugh before the water runs out? Key Takeaways Hydra encounters in Pathfinder = epic, sweaty, and strategy-heavy. Dark Sun campaigns bring unique challenges: scarcity, moral dilemmas, and Mad Max vibes. Circle of Preservation Druids = conservationists with a vengeance. Gladiator Fighters use charisma as a weapon (and crowd engagement as a combat mechanic). Defiled Sorcerers introduce life-draining spellcasting mechanics. Sorcerer King subclasses lean into control, fear, and psionics. Strength for intimidation is officially fun again. Multi-classing optimization remains a go-to for tactical players. Campaign success = good mechanics + solid DM/Player communication. Subclass excitement shows Unearthed Arcana is moving in a promising direction. If you enjoyed this episode, like and subscribe to the RPGBOT.Podcast on your favorite platform. Share it with your tabletop roleplaying friends—because nothing says friendship like convincing them to fight a Hydra in Dark Sun with only a rusty dagger and a half-baked subclass build. 08-24-2025 Pastor Tyler Stevison "Defeating The Spirit of Intimidation" SUN 6PM
Listen, I'm all for prospective students and parents having some insight into a college course syllabus but the general public? The University System of Georgia is arming MAGA's "anti-D.E.I." and "anti-woke" cult with access to professors' course outlines, and those professors believe they'll face harassment - or worse - because of it. Even worse, the USG is leaning on member schools to erase sexual orientation and gender identity from non-discrimination policies. The question is "why?" ------Wild how slow Georgia Republican legislators are to respond to mass shootings and safe gun storage options, but swift to work on drafting bills to erase the state income tax and put a heavier burden on the poor and working class for the state's fiscal solvency. They're already propping up committee hearings with the intent to do just that. Jay Bookman from the Georgia Recorder joined me a couple weeks back to discuss this fiscal nightmare, incidentally. A worthy re-visit while we're on this subject.
An old car crosses paths with Simon Templar, and it causes him to cross path with gun toting gangsters. Intimidation doesn't work well when used on the Saint. Always on…
As Congress prepares for an upcoming public hearing, "UFO World" is inherently impatient when it comes to getting straight answers. Those who follow the topic want the full truth and they want it now. For potential witnesses and whistleblowers, however, the risks of testifying to Congress about secret programs and military deceptions are all too real. In this compelling episode, George Knapp and Jeremy Corbell explore the daunting dangers that confront any insider who wants to tell Congress what they know. Attorney and lifelong UFO researcher Richard Beckwith, who has recently released a history of excessive secrecy and how it has affected the search for truth about UAP, explains why any witness who's held a formal security clearance must be very careful about spilling secrets, even to Congress. There are legal risks, but also significant real life consequences, even if the witnesses are never prosecuted for testifying. Also in this episode, aerospace executive and NASA consultant Mike Gold reveals the confusion surrounding recent allegations about an outbreak of "SCIF Flu" among previous congressional witnesses and why closed door briefings to Congress about UAP programs did not materialize. Following their moral compass, student activists at Columbia demanded an end to the genocide in Gaza and called for a ceasefire. The response? Intimidation, suspensions, wrongful arrests, and, in Mahmoud's case, being illegally detained by ICE and threats of deportation. How and why did the current student movement begin? What were the consequences of speaking out on Palestine? And what does the future hold for student activism and for Mahmoud himself? In this powerful conversation, Columbia graduate student and activist Mahmoud Khalil shares the full story.Thank you for tuning into This is Palestine, the official podcast of The IMEU!
