This is our conversation with Yellowjackets composers Anna Waronker and Craig Wedren. In this in-depth conversation, we explore the sonic mystery box they've crafted over the past three seasons of the show. From eerie guttural vocalizations to layered dissonant harmonies—and even deep forest tree burps—they break down key sections of the score, revealing how they capture the intense emotions of the characters. Plus, they discuss the unique challenges of composing for the same characters at different points in their lives, from their teenage years to adulthood. Thom las A Psalm for the Wild-Built van Becky Chambers, een scifi-boek waarin robots bewust worden.
Jason, Andy, Anthony, Jimmy and Brian discuss what they are watching. This weeks recommendations: Strange New Worlds (Paramount+), Moon Knight (Disney), George Carlin's American Dream (HBOMax), Outer Range (Amazon), and Yellowjackets (Showtime)
The time has finally arrived. Today these two MCU-obsessed freaks get all nerded out about SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME (21:26 - SPOILERS)! We also briefly discuss the mesmerizing show Yellowjackets (Showtime), our good friend Andi's Rocketeer collection, and how everyone used to say “It's the 90's”! Als huiswerk keken we Jaws(1975), Speed (1994), Face/Off (1997), The Invention of Lying (2009) en Ted (2012). Huiswerk: De volgende aflevering gaat over The Batman.
This week is full of ill-advised plans and other mishaps! Something like faking a medical breakthrough to become a billionaire as in The Dropout on Hulu. Pretty much everything Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin have done in their lives, and maybe the idea of adapting Tiger King into fiction, as in Joe vs. Carole on Peacock. Becoming a gentleman pirate like in Our Flag Means Death on HBO Max. Or any number of poor decisions made under stress in Yellowjackets on Showtime. 2:05-31:40 TV Diaries 34:33-46:50 The Dropout (Hulu) 46:50-57:38 Joe vs. Carole (Peacock) 1:02:38-1:02:10 Our Flag Means Death (HBO Max) 1:02:38-1:18:03 Yellowjackets (Showtime) 1:24:15- Dessert: The Afterparty (Apple+)

We hate talking about Wayne's World…NOT! One of the best Saturday Night Live films ever is about to turn 30 years old. Wayne and Garth have been a big part of our lives and same goes for one of our favorite recurring guests, Adam Chance. We had so much fun talking about Wayne's World with Chance and how it made us feel kinda funny, like when we used to climb the rope in gym class. This episode ends with a Starting 5 game and our Patrons can watch us draft our Top 5 Favorite Fictional TV Personalities in Film.Enjoy this episode!
