For when... bonus series. A little brain dump from my walk around NYC this morning - I was thinking about why people can have such ego-driven reactions to messages of positivity and love and how the inspirational messages can sound nice in the moment to read, re-pin, re-post, or scroll by, and then fall flat so shortly after. Sharing a little bit about what I've learned it means to CHOOSE LOVE this year and honor my inner child & the inner child of everyone around me. Your ability to choose love again and again is a sign of your strength, a sign that you've sat in the deepest depths of darkness and shown that darkness compassion, anger, understanding, frustration, and acceptance - and you've also come to know, too, that the darkness doesn't get turned into light - it will always exist. And we create space to make that darkness feel safe, seen, heard, protected. And then we choose to turn to the light anyway.
