The singing parrots are desperately trying to keep us locked into the red blue duality. So much is happening, a brief hiatus is incoming. Sec. Duffy and the unfortunate nipple licking story. Using drones against the cartels is a bad idea for many good reasons. Some examples of subversion in ideological groups. DOGE has a paper trail too. Elon and some amazing data mining. The special signal is sent from our heart, and it should always be love. The bond that strengthens coherence. Don't fight the darkness, shine in it. The circuit loops in an illusion of choice. Don't charge the war. Step into the gap between yes and no. Change the game being played on their field. Triality reveals the whole game. It's spiritual mastery, being in the world but not of it. An echo room where every frequency entering leaves a trace. Thoughts charged with emotion leave a mark. Try to be more mindful. Real love breaks trauma loops. Confessions crack the system. History needs hero's, not complexity. Confessions go underground in private papers and memoirs. The future is defined by what we admit. We know who's financing the crimes right in front of us. Where are all the EO's coming from? It's all about the building of public energy and passion. And now is the time to buckle up.

Worship service given March 16, 2025 Prayer by Mary Breen, Worship Associate https://firstparish.info/ First Parish A liberal religious community, welcoming to all First gathered 1739 In a world that often rewards the loudest voices, what does it mean to embrace being little—to be soft-spoken, to move gently, to love quietly? True strength is not always found in grand gestures but in the quiet persistence of kindness, in the humility of service, in the grace of listening. Music Sunday selections —Haydn's “Little Organ Mass, Missa brevis sancti Joannis de Deo” and Pederson's “Choose Love”—remind us that small acts are actually transformative. In being little, we find the space to be fully present and to engage with each other without anxiety, pretension, or fear. Music pieces featured in this video, in order of appearance: "I Choose Love," Kyle Pederson, performed by the First Parish Choir Musical Reflection Missa brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo ("Little Organ Mass"), Franz Joseph Haydn I.    Kyrie II.    Gloria III.    Credo IV.    Sanctus  V.    Benedictus VI.    Agnus Dei The First Parish Choir, featuring: Mark Dirksen, organ Erin Matthews, soprano Sabine Gross, violin An Chi Lin, violin Jenna Wang, cello   Offering and Giving First For March 2025, the Giving First recipient is the Resilient Sisterhood Project. Cambridge-based Resilient Sisterhood Project's mission is to educate and empower women of African descent regarding common, yet rarely discussed, diseases of the reproductive system that disproportionately affect them. They approach these diseases and associated issues through a cultural and social justice lens since they understand that poor knowledge of reproductive health is primarily related to health, racial, and socioeconomic disparities. RSP brings an expansive definition to and understanding of the word “women” to include transgender women, cisgender women, gender queer, and gender non-conforming people who have a female reproductive system. The remaining half of your offering supports the life and work of this Parish. To donate using your smartphone, you may text “fpuu” to 73256. Then follow the directions in the texts you receive. About our Lead Minister: Rev. Marta Flanagan began her ministry as our twentieth called minister at First Parish in the fall of 2009. She is a genuine and forthright preacher. In conversation she is direct and engaging. She speaks of prayer with as much ease as she laughs at human foibles. We call her “Marta.” Marta is a religious liberal, a theist, a feminist, and a lover of the woods. As a student of American history at Smith College she was captivated by the stories of social reformers who were motivated and sustained by their faith. That led her to consider the ministry and to study at Harvard Divinity School from where she was graduated in 1986. She was the first woman minister in the city of Salem, Massachusetts, serving at the First Universalist Church there (1987-1997). She served in a co-ministry at South Church (Unitarian Universalist) in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, (1997-2005) from where she is minister emerita. Marta served as interim minister in Montpelier, Vermont (2008-2009). She is trained as a spiritual director. For three years she lived in the Vermont woods practicing voluntary simplicity and the spiritual life. Marta enjoys the vitality of First Parish and our strong sense of community. She celebrates the yearning for depth and the desire to make a difference in the world that she finds here.

No problem. Safety and Well-being of our Children and Educators with Dr. Ryan Carlson The most important thing is the safety and well-being of our children and educators. In this podcast, Dr. Ryan Carlson talks about a revolutionary system for identifying and managing aggressive behavior called critical aggression prevention system or CAPS. He discusses why CAPS is better than the current systems in place such as ‘see something say something', conflict resolution, active shooter drills and others because it is important to identify and manage aggressive behavior before it escalates into an issue. Utilizing Dr. Carlson‘s military background, the program seeks to engage, diffuse and redirect, aggressive behavior through developing and ongoing relationship, relationships, and trust. In its early phases, behavior issues can be seen as opportunities for connection. This is an engaging and productive conversation about an issue that continues to plague not only our schools, but every aspect of our lives. We know that hurt people hurt people, and there is a way to be part of the solution.  https://www.aggressionmanagement.com/ Learn more About Scarlett here: https://chooselovemovement.org/

Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware

On the pod this week, we welcome the legendary Gary Barlow! In between early morning studio sessions and tour rehearsals, Gary stopped by my house to share some brilliant stories — from his days on the road with Take That, where he and the band indulged in the infamous “King Naan” curry competition, to the comforts of home, like his mum's classic chicken and mushroom pie. On the menu is a recipe I've never made before, from the Sunlight & Breadcrumbs recipe book by Renee Erickson & Sara Dickerman - mum is obsessed! Scrambled eggs with radicchio, parmesan and balsamic with @dustyknucklebakery focaccia and for pud, the banana bread from the Table Manners cookbook.Gary opened up about his journey into winemaking, his love of good food, wine and the perfect juicer (he loves a daily shroom smoothie). He even let us in on his rider staples and reminisced about listening to music with King Charles. Gary's new ITV series Gary Barlow's Wine Tour: South Africa starts from 11th Nov. ‎Join us for a one off special live recording with Choose Love at The Union Chapel in Islington on December 2nd - more information here Hosted on Acast.
