They say- what goes up, must go down. And today we are talking about just that. We know that life is always going to ebb and flow with highs and lows. But what most people do, is stay in the valley too long. I know I have done that before and over the last six months I have really learned the power of humility in regards to recovering from life's set backs faster. In today's episode I share a big revelation I have had in how powerful being HUMBLE is in these seasons of life. I know the lessons I share with you today are going to bring you courage, inspiration and the reminder that you wherever you are now- you are on the right path! Do you have a hard time following through? Do you struggle knowing what to make for dinner, wear to work, or making simple choices? You probably have decision fatigue and are carrying the "mental load" of motherhood. We can't ever fully get rid of this, because that is just life but we can greatly reduce our decision fatigue with some simple steps. Why do we need to do this? Because if we, as moms, don't do this- we become a shell of a human. It is the reason we snap at our spouse, are too tired at the end of the workday to actually play with our kids, and stop dreaming bigger dreams. Here is what I breakdown today: 1. Create simplicity with routines 2. Stop procrastinating! 3. How to outsource and ask for help You can learn more about working on these goals here: https://www.caitbrown.com/community-application-page Follow me on instagram @_caitbrown, Tik Tok @caitbrown_ and please tag me after you listen so I can shout you out!

A dream is a wish that your heart makes" are iconic lyrics. Lyrics you probably heard 1000 times as a young girl. After watching my daughter listen to this story on her Tonies box, it got me thinking about building our dreams as adults and what it actually takes. On today's episode, I give encouragement on the grit, faith, work ethic, and belief it takes to make your dreams a reality. Here is what we dig into today: -Are you waiting for someone or something? How can you shift from waiting to taking action. -Is heartache necessary in building your dreams? What comes after the heartache? Does it make you better or bitter? -What is faith when it comes to our dreams and the actions we take? Do you have the complete confidence in yourself to make it real? We end with reflecting on this quote from Richie Norton in the book, "Anti-Time Management" ... “The job of a dream is to set you free. Don't turn dreams into jobs." I know today's episode will encourage and inspire you to take action today! Resources from this episode: "Anti-Time Management" by Richie Norton. On today's solo episode, I talk about ways I have been implementing a powerful perspective shift as I look at my goals in 2023. I believe these three shifts are powerful ways to actually reach goals this year and look at the long term of living the life we actually want. The three shifts: 1. This year is a stepping stone- it isn't the end all be all if you do or don't reach your goals. It is a piece of the puzzle in the entire picture of life. There are two tangible examples shared here that you will really relate to 2. Reframe comparison and lack to curiosity and abundance- this is a game changer if you ever wonder if you are "good enough" to accomplish your goals or wonder why others reach their goals sooner than you. 3. Do something radically different- this part is up to you but it is powerful! When you look at setting goals and achieving them are you taking the same action over and over again? Is it actually helping? What if you did something totally different? Resources from this episode: Lori Harder "Earn Your Happy" Episode: https://loriharder.com/accelerate-you... If you want to achieve the goals and the dreams that are on your heart you have to get comfortable with failure. On today's episode we dive deep into this topic with our guest, Ryan Leak. Ryan is a film maker, entrepreneur, pastor, husband and father. He has been on a quest the last several years to chase failure and see what happens. In his documentary, "Chasing Failure," Ryan set out to find the answer to the question, "what would you do if you knew you couldn't fail" by doing something he knew he would in fact, fail. It is the great common denominator between us all: we will fail. But we won't all make the move to fail and that is what Ryan sits down with us today to discuss! We need to search for the small wins every day that get us closer to our goals in order to actually get there. It is taking real action on these things and realizing that once we do fail, perseverance, consistency, and faith will help us get back up and keep going.
