Building a Relationship with Self: Lessons from the AndesWhat does it actually look like to trust your intuition when everything in you wants to play it safe?In this vulnerable solo episode from Peru, I share the real, messy process of deepening the relationship with myself after selling everything and moving to South America. Through a powerful story of changing living situations (and changing my mind), I show you what nervous system work and somatic trust look like in practice. This is for anyone who's ever struggled with people-pleasing, honoring their "no," or trusting their body over their logical mind. What's inside:The grief of letting go • Sitting with doubt after soul-led decisions • Recognizing when your soul is speaking • The two houses story • Changing your mind as self-honoring • How the universe responds to trust • Reparenting your people-pleaser00:00 – Welcome from Peru02:22 – Selling everything & the grief06:28 – My awakening 10 years ago10:08 – Alone in a Peruvian village15:15 – Building relationships with everything22:30 – Trusting intuition over logic30:53 – The beautiful house my soul rejected37:44 – Where the universe led me insteadAndreea Tamas → @iamandreeatamas: https://www.instagram.com/iamandreeatamasMini-course → Pleasure Pays: https://sacredtransitions.co/pleasurepays✨ If this episode spoke to your heart, share it forward.

One iced coffee, a foggy brain, and a brave truth: I'm closing The Selfish Sisterhood. Not because it failed. Not because I'm quitting. Because my intuition is loud enough to ask for space, and I finally stopped gripping something beautiful that no longer fits the season I'm in.We go deep on what a “nine year” feels like—a season of endings that clears the runway for a fresh “one year.” Whether you believe in numerology or just love a solid framework, this lens is surprisingly practical. I look back to 2016, the last one year when I started sharing online, tried new paths, and planted seeds that became this podcast. That reflection helps me accept why change hits harder now: I'm older, I'm a new mom, and I tied a lot of identity to what I built. Letting go feels like rewriting who I am, which is why it's taken so long to tell you.If you've ever broken up with a “good” thing, you'll get it. The community is thriving and kind. The systems are clean. The women are extraordinary. And still, my gut says the season is complete. I share the small rituals helping me hear that inner voice—journaling at nap time, five-minute meditations, a simple deck pull to focus—and how to make one honest move instead of waiting for the mythical perfect moment after the holidays. We talk grief without drama, hope without hype, and the courage to choose a simpler path in a world that celebrates burnout. This conversation is for anyone standing at a threshold: career changes, new motherhood, starting over, or just sensing a quiet shift you can't yet name. If your hands are tired from holding, consider loosening the grip with me. This or something better is on the other side.If the message landed, follow, share, and leave a review so more people can find their own brave release. In this episode, Marsha invites listeners to explore the transformative power of stepping into new "rooms"—whether they be physical events, virtual spaces, or intimate conversations. As she prepares for her upcoming event, The Heartwired CEO, at the picturesque Langdon Hall in Ontario, Marsha reflects on the significance of nervous system regulation and subconscious reprogramming in personal and professional growth. Marsha emphasizes that the journey of self-expansion often requires stepping outside of one's comfort zone, a concept that many coaches advocate. However, she acknowledges the discomfort that can arise from such advice, particularly when individuals feel unprepared or unqualified. She shares her own experiences of entering unfamiliar spaces, often feeling scared and uncertain, yet recognizing that these moments were crucial for her growth. Throughout the episode, Marsha discusses the importance of discernment when choosing which rooms to enter. She reassures listeners that they do not need to feel ready or qualified to leap; instead, the act of stepping into these spaces can lead to profound insights and connections. She recounts her own journey, including pivotal moments at conferences and masterminds that shaped her understanding of what is possible. Consider today a masterclass on biohacking for a woman. For so long the biohacking space or other word known as health optimization has been based on men's studies and data. Although thankfully it's coming to the surface that women aren't biochemically the same as men and we need to address things differently, especially in our reproductive years. My guest today has been in this space since the early days of biohacking and since then has not only learned how women need to approach things differently, but also has trained thousands of other women to do the same. Kristin Weitzel is a health and high performance maven, with expertise across a broad range of health topics and Founder or WELLPOWER, SHERPA Breath & Cold. She is a biohacking proponent, certified fitness trainer, podcast host, breathwork guide, ice bath instructor, and nutritionist with a focus on guiding people to optimal health. During her 15 years as a brand strategist and global marketer for Fortune 500 brands, Kristin sought opportunities to work with some of the top minds and mentors across the wellness world. She applied these learnings to her own weight management, energy, and lifestyle challenges, and continues to research and share them with her audience. She ultimately left behind her successful corporate career to pursue her peak expression: Leading others to break out of their comfort zones and rise into optimal wellbeing. What if burnout isn't a breaking point, but an invitation to slow down, tune in, and hear the intuition you have been trying to say all along?Summary: When we're deep in burnout, even the simplest decisions can feel overwhelming. This episode of The Science of Happiness explores the difference between urgency and intuition, and what it takes to rebuild trust in your inner knowing. It's a conversation about slowing down, listening inward, and finding clarity on the other side of exhaustion. How To Do This Practice: Pause the noise: Set aside 5–10 minutes without screens, music, or conversation. Let yourself settle into stillness, even if it feels uncomfortable at first. Feel your body: Bring your attention inward. Notice physical sensations—tightness in your chest, a flutter in your gut, warmth in your hands—without trying to change them. Breathe and soften: Take a few slow, gentle breaths. With each exhale, invite your body to soften and release any tension. Ask a simple question: Bring to mind something you're unsure about. Ask yourself softly, “What do I really know about this?” or “What feels true right now?” Notice what arises: Pay attention to the first felt sense—not the loudest thought, but the quiet feeling underneath. It might show up as a word, image, emotion, or subtle pull in the body. Close with trust: You don't need a final answer. Just acknowledge what you noticed, thank yourself for listening, and carry that quiet knowing with you as you move forward. In this inspiring episode of Leaders of Today, Lorraine Connell sits down with Chelsea Fournier, business strategist, intuitive mentor, and advocate for self-trust, to explore the pivotal moments and inner work that have shaped her journey. Chelsea reflects on her evolution from a creative and driven teenager to a business leader deeply rooted in self-awareness and intuition. She opens up about her experiences navigating college life as an autistic individual, shedding light on the importance of self-advocacy and honoring personal boundaries. The conversation delves into the challenges of teenage leadership, the role of human design in decision-making, and the power of micro-decisions to shape a life path. Chelsea emphasizes that tuning into your body's wisdom and learning to trust yourself are essential, especially in a world full of noise and external pressure. Key Topics Discussed: Teenage leadership and identity development Navigating college with autism and self-advocacy The value of intuition in personal and professional choices Human design and decision-making styles The power of micro-decisions over time Emotional awareness and body intelligence Creating safe, reflective spaces for teens Supporting youth in learning to trust themselves Takeaways: Leadership in adolescence can swing between overachievement and insecurity. Self-trust grows through reflective practices like journaling and body awareness. Autistic individuals may need unique tools and support to navigate major life transitions. Setting boundaries and practicing self-advocacy are key to emotional well-being. Intuition can be a powerful compass when logic alone feels overwhelming. Parents and mentors can guide youth by modeling thoughtful decision-making.

— How do you feel when you hear the word “psychic”? Spine-chilling goose-bumps or a thrilling allure? A burning desire to discover more or an impulse to run? Fascination or fear? We all have intuition, perhaps even psychic ability. So why don't we use it? Fear of the unknown, fear of losing control, fear of meeting our dark side or the fear instilled in humankind during the Spanish Inquisition that still sits in our cellular memory and hold power over out otherwise unlimited minds? Natasha Rosewood brings the word “psychic” out of the witch's closet and into the light of the New Age. “Now, more than ever in out history, the planet needs all of us to acknowledge our power by paying attention to our inner voices. But first we need to embrace and trust our intuition.” Valeria interviews Natasha J. Rosewood — She is the Author, Quantum Healer, Intuitive Coach, TV Host, Spirit Medium, Past Life Regressionist and GhostBuster. A long time ago, in a far away land—England—Natasha Rosewood worked as a flight attendant, during which time her life also took off into the metaphysical world of palmistry and other divine knowledge. But it was when she moved to Canada in 1983, that she evolved from palmist to Intuitive Spiritual Healer, and then Past Life Regressionist, Ghostbuster, Quantum Healer, Author, Screenwriter as well as radio and TV Host. In her dedicated healing practice of many years, she has empowered thousands of people to remember who they really are and to find their joy. All five of her beloved enlightening, comedic and poignant books: Aaagh I Think I'm Psychic, (And You Can Be Too) Aaagh, I Thought You Were Dead, (And Other Psychic Adventures) Ghostly- Mostly True Stories, Flight of Your Life - Confessions of a 1970's Air Hostess and The Longest Flight of Your Life -Confessions of a 1980's Air Stewardess are intended to inspire the knowing intuitive inside each one of us and remind us all of humanity's unlimited potential to create, laugh and, of course, love, especially The Self. Our focus is, intuition. When is the last time you even heard that word, much less gave it any attention. When a book on intuition came across my desk, I was hooked. As I studied it, my focus turned toward trust, and faith. What do you put your trust and faith in? For all those who immediately say God, I'm going to ask you to stop, and really consider. God may be one of the things you put trust in, but everyday you are putting trust in other people, other ideas and opinions, other institutions, and you argue and defend them, and spend time online looking for information to trust. The question of this show, from my perspective, is how much do you trust yourself? And if you do believe in God, do you believe that God made you with no value or skill and just wants you trusting everything outside of yourself? Or is there anything in yourself worth listening to? My guest and expert on the topic is Elizabeth Greenwood. She is the author of EVERYDAY INTUITION: What Psychology, Science, and Psychics Can Teach Us About Finding and Trusting Our Inner Voice. She is a prolific researcher and writer and her work has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, GQ, The Atlantic and more. We had an in depth and candid conversation about what intuition is and how it is utilized by everyone from scientists and pastors to yes, psychics. Do you feel like your intuition might be speaking… but you're not sure if it's real or if it's just fear? Are you in that uncomfortable in-between where you're no longer who you were but you just don't know what's next? Then this episode is for you. Today, I'm sharing two pivotal moments: The night I bumped into the man that ghosted me… while I was at dinner with a client. And the day $2000 cash and my bank cards were stolen right out of my villa in Bali, and by someone who I trusted! Because both of these moments became proof that my intuition was guiding me the whole time. But this episode isn't about my story… It's about helping you to start to hear your own. And to start to trust the inner knowing and feeling of intuition even through intense moments of discomfort. You will learn: What it feels like to have intuition flood your body How to stay in the discomfort and sit in the fear without rushing back to safety What to do when you know that where you are isn't right… but have no idea what's next The simple way to build trust in your intuition, so it becomes easier to follow each time …and so much more. Jenn Johnson learned more about intuition after listening to what her body was telling her. After years of nursing in the ER, she started feeling about what was going on with her patients before tests would clearly show the diagnosis. In this episode, Jenn shares some of the science behind intuition and how she started relying on her own experiences when caring for patients. With all of her experience at the bedside, she also realized that she could use her intuition, that gut feeling we all get sometimes, to get her patients the care they need much more quickly than if she waited for lab and diagnostic tests to come back. Her colleagues respect her as she uses her intuition to quickly communicate with others to get patients treated before they become even worse off. Jenn's book - Nursing Intuition, is finally here! . In the book, she will discuss the science behind using intuition and how she incorporates it into her patient care. Jenn has a wealth of information to share, and I cannot wait to read her book when it comes out. This invisible force keeps you frozen, making decisions from a place of survival rather than authentic wisdom. What if there was another way? What if you could acknowledge your fear without letting it control your choices? When our nervous system remains in a constant state of high alert during divorce, we operate from our primitive brain, interpreting change as a threat to survival. This "functional freeze" makes us appear put-together on the outside while we're drowning inside, unable to access our deeper wisdom. The result? A life guided by fear rather than intention. The secret lies in reconnecting with your intuition—that quiet voice within that knows exactly what you need, even when everyone else has an opinion. Courage isn't making fearless decisions; it's feeling terrified and moving forward anyway, trusting that inner compass to guide you home. Self-trust develops through practicing self-compassion, getting curious about who you are at your core, and accepting all parts of yourself. When your brain, body, and intuition align, you physically feel the difference between decisions that are right for you and those that aren't. This knowing creates a foundation of peace that exists alongside fear rather than being consumed by it. Ready to stop letting fear drive your life? Book your free 30-minute consultation today and learn how to reconnect with your intuition during divorce. Your deepest wisdom is waiting—you just need to remember how to listen.
