By the year 2025, 75% of our workforce will be millennials. The millennials outnumber even the baby boomers. They are also different than the boomers. As an employer or business owner, you need to understand the differences. The culture that worked in the past may not be the best fit for the new and upcoming workforce. Today, I’m talking about the changes employers may need to make. Right or wrong, they will need to be aware of what their employees want and create a culture that encourages loyalty and participation. They will need to create an environment where employees feel ownership and have opportunities to give input. They need to feel they are making a contribution and understand the bigger picture.   “If you create an opportunity for the millennials to be successful, your company will be successful .” – Sharon Lechter     This week on the Your Money, Your Business, Your Life Podcast: Challenges of working with the future generation and workforce retention The importance of understanding that times have changed Creating an environment where employees feel ownership The importance of establishing a system for input     Help Others Take Care of Their Money, Their Business, & Their Life!                   Thanks for joining us on this episode of Your Money, Your Business, Your Life podcast! Have you ever had to make an important decision so you sit down with your pen and paper and write a list of pros and cons? When you’re making that list, you’re likely asking yourself dozens, if not hundreds, of questions – but are you asking yourself the right question? Creating a pros and cons list can sometimes be helpful, but what if your list of pros is just as long as your list of cons? What do you do, then? Fear is often the factor that stops potentially great entrepreneurs in their tracks even before they’ve taken that first courageous step into entrepreneurism. On today’s episode, I’m talking about one very important question you should be asking yourself if your trying to decide to start a business and become a successful entrepreneur – the question of “Why not?” What is stopping you from living the dream life you want for yourself and your family? Why are you letting it prevent you from reaching your true potential? And how can you turn those fears into the courage you need to find the associations and create opportunities for success?   “There are no failures. There are only learning opportunities.”   This Week on the Your Money, Your Business, Your Life Podcast: Looking at mistakes and failures as lessons learned through experience. You need to know your “why” because that’s your passion, but you need to ask “why not” to motivate you to move forward. Finding associations that compliment your talents to create a driving force to achieve a common mission – together. Collaboration and building strategic alliances is the “name of the game” in business today. Sometimes you can turn an obstacle into an opportunity. You don’t need a huge team. You need great associations and the right team members with the right skills. The number 1 stumbling block for entrepreneurs reaching the success they deserve – is fear. Robert has been in the investment industry for over a decade and is known for growing his investment firm by 35% year after year despite the uncertain economic times. When you think of auto-suggestion, many people associate the term to hypnosis. However, auto-suggestion is a mechanism of how your brain deals with external factors that influence your subconscious. Continuing the theme from Napoleon Hill, auto-suggestion is the “voluntary feed on creative or destructive nature and ability to change our circumstances.” How often do we use negative thoughts and comments to create a whirlwind of self-doubt and lack of self-confidence?   Today, I’m discussing the impact of auto-suggestion to change your mindset and how it directly influences our level of success. I also explain how we often allow positive and negative thoughts into our lives either consciously or subconsciously, steps we can take to actively change our mindset to ensure our success, and the importance and impact that positive self-talk can have on your life and business.   “Each of us takes responsibility for own thoughts, actions, and what we allow into our spaces.” This week on Your Money, Your Business, and Your Life Podcast:   Understanding the influence of negative self-talk in your subconscious Steps to create a path to a positive mindset Using positive affirmation repetition and visualization to change your aspect on life How to continue to use repetition and visual reminders to create an inner positive mindset Considering the use of meditation to imagine a prosperous future Fostering confidence and self-esteem on younger minds to block detrimental ideas Learn More on the Essential Components of a Successful Business   Invest in YOU with our Essential Components of a Successful Business Online & Live Training Course! In fact, it’s one of the Principles of Success in my book, Three Feet from Gold, as part of the success formula, but many people don’t realize why having faith is so important to your ability to succeed in business. Having faith in something means having a strong belief in something - including yourself.     On today’s episode, I’m going to share why having faith in yourself is critical to your success and how to use it as a motivator to help you take action and achieve your goals. I’ll explain how faith - or the lack thereof - truly defines your destiny, how it creates a roadmap for your subconscious to follow, and how positive thoughts can create the foundation for you to build success in your life, business, or career. I’ll also share Napoleon Hill’s self-confidence formula that can help you create the mindset to build faith in yourself and create success in your career.     “Building faith in yourself sometimes means pushing past your discomfort - putting yourself out there and being okay with not knowing if other people will accept what you’re doing.” - Sharon Lechter   This week on Your Money, Your Business, and Your Life Podcast:   Why faith is not just exclusive to religious belief. For many entrepreneurs, creating a business plan is motivated by their passion, their vision, and what they think will make their business a success. However, what many small business owners and new business owners often forget Is that – despite their passion, their vision – they also need to consider what their investors are looking for in a sound business plan before they determine whether to invest their money. But, what do investors look for when reviewing a business plan? How can a small business owner identify those deciding factors and write their business plan to get a “yes” from investors? Today, I’m talking with Michael Wolfe, a software entrepreneur with over 12 years of experience as a software investor.
