Welcome to episode #64 of Entrepreneur Mindset-Reset. I'm so happy to be bringing you another incredible conversation with today's guest, Arnaud Saint-Paul, of Tapuat, an organization that believes every leader should have the opportunity to choose a direct path toward more harmony and alignment in their lives so that they can fulfill their heart vision. I so enjoyed talking with Arnaud and hearing his insights on leadership and personal growth. Arnaud is a software, finance and social impact entrepreneur who splits his time between LA and Paris, with lots of adventures in-between.  He shares his philosophy, which is that when we open our hearts, we find harmony, and that leadership is all about listening. You won't want to miss when he talks about how an imbalance of masculine and feminine energies can create restrictiveness, and what that can do to our success. Tapuat teaches the “heart full” method, which helps people tap into the big potential of their hearts. What I loved learning is that even though sometimes it can sound a little “woo” when we talk about energies, his philosophy is grounded in science and understanding of how we function as humans. At Tapuat, they use a science-backed method to help people and businesses focus on the positive aspects of their lives that will make them happy, successful and abundant, and allow them to fulfill their highest potential.  Arnaud is author of two books, a manifesto “I, the book” and “the Human Project”, and once you've listened to our conversation, I'm certain you'll want to learn more. Links to find everything you need to know are in the show notes.   So, you know what it's time to do: grab a beverage or a snack and settle-in to listen to Arnaud and his amazing journey. Bio: As a philanthropist and award-winning serial software, finance, and social impact entrepreneur for more than 20 years, living between Los Angeles and Paris, Arnaud went through his awakening when 13. While having a successful career in Finance and Technology across continents, he has been traveling throughout the world to study the different religions and philosophies in his relentless quest to understand himself. His life purpose is now to open billions of hearts and help them find harmony inside and out. Discover the greatest leadership trait that men of God need today. This is the leadership trait that at times it's difficult to employ, especially when we are forced to do something new, try something different, or stand up for what's right. It stretches our limits, gets us out of our comfort zone, and helps you see what you are made of. At the same time, it's the one that has some of the greatest rewards. It builds on itself. And invokes a sense of pride (healthy pride that is) when we display it. It's the quality that ignites a spark deep down in your soul, where you're like YEAH, I knew I could do that. When we watch Movies like Braveheart, King Arthur, A Knight's Tale, Lord of the Rings, Karate Kid, and Rudy we can see without a shadow of a doubt that the main characters in these movies have this element of leadership. But when you research what this often unexpected responsibility requires, you’ll see how it extends beyond a typical leadership role; often done over and beyond one’s day job and usually has emotions attached to it.  In this episode Greg speaks with Rick Lauber, Author and former co-caregiver for both his aging parents. Rick shares a little of his journey and offers an honest insight as to what’s involved in really being a caregiver, what skills are needed and how it parallels with that of an organizational leader.  Rick shares about how this decade long experience had impacted him as well as some of what he learnt about leadership and about himself as well as what strengths he never knew he had and those skills he needed to learn along the way. The experience lead Rick to publish two best-selling guide books  – Caregiver’s Guide for Canadians and The Successful Caregiver’s Guide which we also hear a little about. Brian Wood MC joins us on the Mantality podcast. During a 16 year military career, Brian led British troops across the full spectrum of battle from training to fighting; from operations in the Balkans to high intensity combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. Brian was awarded the Military Cross, one of Britain's highest awards for gallantry in combat, by Her Majesty The Queen II, following his courageous leadership under enemy fire in Iraq. We go in to depth about the Battle of Danny Boy. Brian lead his men into the teeth of enemy fire in the first bayonet charge by British soldiers in 25 years. We talk about his struggle to transition in to civilian life but also how he coped with the public enquiry carried out by disgraced and discredited lawyer Phil Shiner, who was wrongly accusing Brian and his comrades of murder and mutilation of Iraqi militia fighters. Brian is a leader of men, and is now taking his inspiration to the corporate world. This is a real, no holds barred account of a heroes last 20 years and how he has come through the other side. Happy December to the Healthy Wealthy and Smart family! On this episode, I welcome Tricia Brouk on the show to discuss the elements of a memorable talk. In addition to working in the entertainment industry, Tricia Brouk applies her expertise as a director and writer for film, television and theater to the art of public speaking. She’s the executive producer of TEDxLincolnSquare and has choreographed Black Box on ABC, The Affair on Showtime, Rescue Me on Fox, and John Turturro’s Romance and Cigarettes. The series she directed, Sublets, won Best Comedy at the Vancouver Web-Festival. She’s written two musicals, a play, a sitcom pilot, and a feature film. She’s been featured in Inc. Magazine, Huffington Post, Broadway World and has been a featured guest on Leaders In The Trenches, Ultimate Leadership, EO Fire, and Weekly Alignment. She also hosts the podcast, The Big Talk on iTunes, where she interviews people who talk for a living. In this episode, we discuss: -Tricia’s simple formula to make a powerful talk -How to craft a raw and meaningful story -Introversion and ways to overcome stage fright -The importance of communicating expectations for success -And so much more!   Over her career, Tricia has been able to work on a variety of projects by maintaining confidence in her talents. Tricia recommends jumping at any new opportunities that present themselves and that, “It was all about saying yes, being challenged and not being afraid of failing.”   To create a powerful and meaningful talk, Tricia advises, “Inspire what you have to offer without selling what you have to offer.”   The most powerful talks use stories and a point of view that are unique and authentic to the speaker. As a result, “You disarmed the audience by sharing something about yourself, by showing up and being vulnerable.”   For those wanting to improve their public speaking, Tricia suggests that, “You have to flex the speaking muscle just like you flex the bicep.” To gain more comfort on stage, there is no substitute to practice. Tricia recommends gradually pushing boundaries, starting with family and moving on to co-workers, as she has found that, “Repetition is everything.”   For more information on Tricia: Tricia Brouk draws on experience as a TEDx organizer, a writer, director and choreographer in film, television, and theater to help you bring your life-changing talk into focus. Her unique point of view will get you onto the big stage and guarantee you an unforgettable big talk every time.   I view public speakers through the same lens I do an actor. You have something important to say and it’s my job to help you find the way to say it with truth, confidence, vulnerability, awe, compassion and courage. With the help of my direction and guidance, I’ll bring your life-changing speech into focus, while giving you the unique insight into what makes an unforgettable big talk. I’ll break down your script just like I do with a film or play. I’ll identify the arcs the beats, and if what you are saying is actually what you mean to say. I’ll identify what you need to do for your big talk or your Keynote, as they are very different. Once I do that, we’ll work together on clarifying, specifying and performing your big talk through blocking, repetition, and simple techniques I use with actors.   My goal in the room is to create a safe space so you can drop in. When you are working on the material, I’ll help you find new and interesting ways to communicate your very important talk. Once we find those, together, I will help you maintain the integrity and consistency of the performance so you can be free to talk to the audience, like you’re talking to a friend. I will help illuminate the importance of what you, as a speaker, want to say and how you communicate that information so that your audience leans in.   Resources discussed on this show: Tricia Brouk Website Tricia Brouk Twitter Krumping is language. | Brian HallowDreamz Henry | TEDxLincolnSquare The Big Talk Website Gift: 4 Ways To Inspire Your Audience, Create Adoring Fans and Organically Drive New Business Thanks for listening and subscribing to the podcast! Renowned leadership expert and best selling author Chris Cebollero is interviewed by LearnChair Radio’s host Bob Dragone.  Chris’s leadership expertise is based on many years in the emergency medical services field.  Chris describes how he developed his leadership principles through trial and error in assuming leadership positions in the demanding and dangerous EMS field.  He now applies these principles to help organizations and businesses develop good leadership to improve performance and achieve success.  Chris notes that one of the leading failures of companies is not investing in their people.  It takes time and effort to make employees productive team members, and real leaders do this.  Chris is the author of Ultimate Leadership, a book that debuted as Number 1 on the Amazon best seller list.  In it he lists the steps an individual must take to become an effective leader.    He is following this up with a new book to be published in July entitled, Ultimate Success, A Strategy For Achieving Leadership Excellence, which outlines the skills a leader must know to achieve success.  To the question of what characteristics a good leader should possess, Chris responded with one - self awareness.  He states that you have to know who your are before you can help others become who they want to be.  This is a recurring theme throughout this interview and comes from Chris’s many years of being a hands-on leader in a highly demanding field.  This is a fun podcast with a man who knows leadership from first hand experience.
