The Entreprenudist Podcast: The Place To Hear Real Entrepreneurs & Business Owners Bare It All

Spreading the Seeds of Franchise Ownership   Like Johnny Appleseed sowing orchards across early America, speaker and Co-Chair of The African American Franchise Council (AAFC)  Randolph Love III plants the seeds of franchise ownership at The Great American Franchise Expo.   Love sees franchising as fertile ground for cultivation, much like Appleseed viewed the Midwest as prime for apples. With the right root system and nurturing environment, Love's attendees could reap bountiful harvests through franchise opportunities.   Addressing prospects on The Entreprenudist Podcast, Love intersperses metaphors and philosophical tidbits among franchising fundamentals. “You should always look for the source before you consume something,” Love notes, relating business to life's essentials like food and water.   This holistic outlook carries through Love's franchise frameworks as well. He views the optimal structure as a “house” with specialized “rooms” for functions like asset protection, tax savings and wealth management. Constructing these entities in sequence enables the entrepreneur to limit liability, lower taxes and passively earn income over time.   The end goal, according to Love, is establishing a “family bank” to achieve financial freedom across generations. With the proper foundations in place, entrepreneurs can grow capital that makes “money babies” indefinitely. Love aspires to help attendees “impregnate a $100 bill” through entities like a Limited Liability Limited Partnership (LLLP), which Business News Daily confirms is a popular wealth management structure.   By sharing these insights at the Great American Franchise Expo, Love plants seeds of possibility in prospective business owners nationwide. Over 1,500 attendees participated in the 2022 Expo in Dallas this past November. The annual event draws crowds eager to leave corporate jobs and take control of their livelihoods.   Love tailored his presentation specifically to those seeking escape from the “rat race” of trading time for money. He interlaced analogies, frameworks and calls to action around owning a franchise for passive income. This audience likely related to Love's aspirations “to not have to actively work” while still earning substantial amounts.   In the end, Love accomplished what any successful farmer does after sowing fields and nurturing growth. He harvested new contacts by offering his book for just shipping costs. The prospects opting in can now nurture their own dreams of franchise ownership. Much like Appleseed's orchards took root across Middle America, Love's ideas may soon bear fruit across the franchise landscape.   Watch the FULL VIDEO of our conversation HERE.   For More Info Text “Franchise24” to 904-822-4262     About The Author…   Randolph Love III, is the Founder and President of, ShieldWolf Strongholds, a Fractional CFO company that specializes in providing Business and Franchise Owners with all of the perks and benefits of having a full time Chief Financial Officer and Business Succession Planner, but for a fraction of the price.  He is a Partner and Consultant with The Franchise Consulting Company; the largest American owned franchise consulting company in the world. As a manager if your desire is to be effective you must ask yourself one fundamental question.  How much do you value the contributions of those you oversee leading?  The answer to this question will determine your longevity as a leader.  Business News Daily reports: Additionally, lack of employee engagement in the workplace contributes to retention challenges: 62 percent of employers say they struggle to keep employees engaged and productive. Employee Turnover. It's painful for any business. It's especially painful for small businesses. Turnover is time-consuming and costly for small businesses. And I am on a mission to reduce employee turnover.  For Anne Donovan her passion, is her purpose.  “I am a Human Resources leader known for developing new programs and training, dramatically improving employee retention and leadership performance. Government reports are saying that unemployment is still very low. However, I'm starting to see more and more layoffs from really big companies. In fact, Business News Daily reported that layoffs are continuing to pile up at a rate that is approaching the way they were in the early days of the pandemic. So, this week, I'm going to cover a few ideas on how to update your resume just in case you are one of these folks who are looking for a  new employer. If it is time to dust off the old resume or CV, use the strategies that I cover today. Before we get to the technical stuff, though, we will show you how to avoid falling into the most dangerous resume trap out there. (Here is a little hint… Your resume should never be about YOU.)Instead, you want to focus on the problems that you have helped employers solve. If these prospective employers know that when they hire you, they will have fewer challenges to deal with, you will put yourself at the top of the hiring list.Instead of Making Your Resume a List of Accomplishments, Make It a List of Problems Solved.Don't get me wrong. Your resume should absolutely be about you and your accomplishments. However, if that is all that you highlight, you will miss out on a great opportunity to set yourself apart from your competition. Human beings tend to all have a few things in common. Most of us are pretty self-centered. We all have problems. We also all have challenges that we have to deal with. Well, guess what. Your prospective employer isn't a title or a company. The prospective employer is an actual human being. The prospective employer has challenges and problems. So when he or she makes a hiring decision, the main thing they want to know is the following…Will hiring this particular person help me solve problems or will hiring the person cause more problems?Often, we assume that the prospective employer will read our qualifications and automatically conclude that this qualification will be of benefit to the company. By the way, most prospective employers are smart people. So many actually will do this. However, if you do this step for the employer, you make that person's job easier. So if you do this simple step, you now present yourself as someone who can make the job of the employer much easier. That is huge considering the main goal the prospective employer has. The way that you are presenting your information to the employer is making his or her job easier. You are a problem-solver.Show Notes: How to Update Your Resume in 2023

One question remains unanswered for many women post-divorce: What makes you happy? Failing to find the answer and knowing what feeds the soul is essential to healing, transformation and building a purposeful life. Certified Coach, Mentor, Mastermind Facilitator and NLP Practitioner Diane Forster shares that women can be selfish in a good way. To love oneself unconditionally is to be your life.  Watch ▶️ Intentional Living The 'I HAVE TODAY' Way with Diane Forster.   Key points covered in this episode:    ✔️For Diane Forster, her calling was so big that she had no way to go but follow it. She turned her life's pain into her greater purpose. An award-winning inventor, best selling author, TEDx speaker, TV host, podcaster, and mentor — Diane lives to tell the tale that achieving life's ultimate plan is by first seeing your worth, loving yourself unconditionally, and having the strength to change.  ✔️ "I Have Today" started as a poem two years after Diane's lowest point in life that became a movement. She teaches a three-step process: LOVE IT, THANK IT and BRING IT. It means love your life, no matter what has ever happened to you. Be thankful even for the pain as it teaches you strength, gives you clarity and instructs you wisdom. Learn from it, but don't hold on to it. Release and understand that it has served its purpose. Being grateful, the highest emotional vibration, allows you to bring abundance into your life. ✔️Living intentionally means that you do not leave your life up to the outside circumstances, events or people. It means that you are the one in control of your life. You get to decide how you want to live and how you want to feel in every moment, every situation.    ✔️ Be a magnet to so much love in your life when you fall in love with yourself. A relationship ending can be a gift for you to discover who you are and what you're worth. Healing and transformation start from seeing one's worth first because the love you seek comes from within, not outside you. Find the confidence to speak from your heart and get clear on what makes you happy, and you will live your truth.  ✔️Asking yourself the right questions. Discover enough of the things that are true for you to help you build your way into the future you desire and deserve. Every moment will allow you to make choices that serve you and the world.  Diane Forster is an Award-Winning Inventor, 2X Best Selling Author, TEDx Speaker, TV Host, Podcaster,  Intentional Living Expert and Re-Invention Specialist. According to a recent article in Business News Daily, the top three most stressful jobs in America are; enlisted military personnel, firefighter, and airline pilot. The factors used to determine this list include things like physical demands, on-the-job hazards, environmental conditions, and the risk of personal injury. As firefighters and EMS professionals, we might be surprised that our profession is in the top three, but we certainly aren't surprised that we've made the list. As a new year is upon us, we typically take that as an opportunity to look at our current situation and make a plan for change if needed. Before we can effectively decide what changes need to be made, we need to take a real look at the things that aren't serving us, or worse, hurting us. In today's episode, I will talk about self care & coping mechanisms, what they are, and what we can do to make sure we have systems in place to effectively help us make those positive strides we're hoping to make in 2022. -- IGNITEd Firefighter Podcast Facebook Group IGNITEd Readers Book Club Zoom Meeting --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/ignitedff/message

Getting past your internal hindrances can only be done by challenging your doubts on what is actually possible. Something that doesn't involve any hardship or challenges may not be worth doing - but that doesn't mean that doing something that's draining the life out of you daily is worth doing either. It's important to not waste your time pretending to be what you aren't. The things that make you unique are your strengths. In the same way, letting people be them means delegating tasks that they might be better at than you are.Builders are the ones that put the building blocks together and the accelerators try to keep the business going - you need to figure out which one you are. Are you going to be doing the work or leading the work? As a leader, if your schedule is full of tasks, you will have no ability to strategize and assess the future. We drive ourselves crazy with our second-guessing and overanalysis of our decisions - there comes a time where you just gotta do it already. At least, take one step.  “If we can get something done, even if it's not done perfectly,  we can fix the little things. But we can't fix ‘not doing', so we just have to get something done... It's easy to confuse busy with productive.” - Erica McCurdy Connect with Erica McCurdy:LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mccurdygroup/Website: http://www.mccurdysolutions.com/Email: erica@mccurdysolutions.com Connect with Steve and Jason:LinkedIn: Jason or SteveWebsite: Rewire, Inc.: Transformed Thinking Email: grow@rewireinc.com  Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine TallaAudio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. Hey y'all Brent Perry with Business on Purpose.  Let's talk about qualifying leads in your business.  In an article written in Business News Daily, Max Freedman writes, “Lead generation is important, but qualifying your leads to determine which ones are worth pursuing can save you time and money.” Now I don't know about you, but saving time and money when it comes to your business should be a priority as an owner. I spent over a year working outside sales for a company that sells aviation wiring and cables. We sold to the military, major airlines,  mom and pop hangers that flew Cessnas... if you have a vehicle that flew, we sold to you. I got to go to some pretty cool places over that year... Space X out in California, American Airlines HQ in Texas, Salt Lake City to see some guys who are doing amazing work on developing defense technology for the airforce. Literally, we went all over.  Now, we would usually plan a trip around 1-2 of our biggest customers or suppliers in that area we were traveling to. But we couldn't go anywhere unless we had 9-10 visits set up for that week. But even a step furthers, my direct boss would make us submit our visits a few weeks in advance, so he could make sure... you guessed it. These were qualified leads. He didn't want us traveling week in and week out if we weren't coming back with something that benefited the company. A new supplier, a new customer, a new point of contact at a company that we were trying to crack. Our trips were all justified because we had the take the time to qualify our leads. In his book, Business Made Simple, Donald Miller notes that a qualified lead meets the following three criteria…   They have a problem your product or service will solve They are able to afford your product or service They have the authority to buy your product or service Let me read those again…   They have a problem your product or service will solve They are able to afford your product or service They have the authority to buy your product or service So the question is, are you qualifying the leads in your business? If not, you may be wasting some of your time, energy, and money chasing down any lead that pops up.  Miller goes on to write,  “Create a list of criteria that qualifies leads so you can move them into a story that solves their problem and changes their lives.” If your business already has a list of criteria, great! I would say make sure you are reviewing that list once a quarter or so to make sure you are up to date. If you currently don't have that list readily available for yourself or your employees, that's a good place to start. Let's make sure we are going after the right people. A little work on the front end will save your time, energy, and money in the long run.  Thanks for listening.  If you haven't done so already, subscribe to our Podcast, and/or our YouTube channel.

I was working in a tiny company and was doing everything from talking to clients, to servicing accounts, to getting coffee for my boss, to fixing the fax machine. That was when I realized that I had the skills I needed to do this on my own.” She quit her job. Without a mentor or coach to guide her, Ali immersed herself in books on marketing and success. Using a second-hand computer gifted by her younger brother, she discovered how to use online marketing to build her business. It appealed to her because it was low-cost, had a broad reach, and she could work from her kitchen table at home. After ups and downs, Ali reached her goal of becoming a millionaire by age 35. Now, she shares her secrets with other women entrepreneurs as a top coach in the industry. Did you enjoy the podcast? Please leave us a 5-Star iTunes Review!
