In this special Micro Magic episode, Marissa takes listeners on a quirky journey back to 1972 for Disney's whimsical “Pooh for President” campaign. Marissa digs into the campaign's origins, how Pooh and his 100 Acre Wood friends ran a lighthearted "presidential" race, complete with buttons, posters, and even a parade. How did Disney manage to turn this cuddly bear into a political icon? Tune in to find out, and maybe discover why Pooh still has her vote today! Yikes! That seems to be an appropriate description for this week's movie, WINNIE THE POOH: BLOOD AND HONEY. That's right folks, it's time to ruin our collective childhoods as we dive into this sick and twisted take on A. A. Milne's beloved characters. This one is all about doing something because you can, and not thinking about whether or not you should, so come along and see who survives in the 100 Acre Wood. A rally car goes through a lot on stage between the rough terrain and demands that the driver puts on the brakes, suspension, and especially the engine. One of the keys to success in Rally is to have as reliable a car as possible, and it is with that in mind that Jeremy from Money Shift Rally installed an Emtron Standalone ECU in their Rally car. For episode #141 of the Flatirons Syndicate Podcast, Jon sits down with Jeremy to go over the data that he collected from the 100 Acre Wood rally and what they have learned from it. What is the relationship between oil temperature and oil pressure? What can losing a bumper tell you about your cooling system? Being able to collect and corollate all of the data that runs into a Standalone ECU can lead to some really interesting conclusions. Thanks for watching and Stay Tuned! Trash month continues full steam ahead with this public domain spectacular! Steamboat Willie, who!? Back in 2022 a very different figure entered the public domain and his name was WINNIE THE POOH (or plooh if you're Alix). The brits decided what better way to celebrate The 100 Acre Wood entering public domain than making possibly the worst rated film we've ever covered?! Plus, a game for this year's Trash Month Trivia Champion! Hope ya'll like bits, because this episode is chock full of one liners to make you laugh to yourself wherever you listen! Check it out! Fear plays an interesting role in our lives, and what better way to celebrate fear than to share some scary stories this Halloween season. On the latest, extra-spooky, episode of 4Thirty, Ben and Pat timidly creep their way through a few stories and ideas that they really find frightening, while also discussing some of the internet's best sources for terrifying campfire tales. The guys also break down their usual news stories this week, while also providing a follow-up or two and sending a birthday shoutout to a longtime listener along the way. What's the true story behind the 'Legend of Sleepy Hollow'? Is a U.S. Army base the source of a true, spine-shivering ghost story? Is a canine cryptid terrorizing the Upper Midwest in a way that's much more fact than fantasy? Is the 100-Acre Wood currently haunted by serial killer? For answers to all these spooky questions and plenty more, be sure to give the latest, fearful, episode of 4Thirty in the Morning a listen!
Milo, Gareth and Steff visit the 100 Acre Wood where Tigger and Eeyore talk ball. We chat about our table topping start to the season and ask how long can it last? This week, Andrew and Scotty visit the 100 Acre Wood to visit some old friends who may be a bit homicidal as they discuss "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey". This was episode was recorded on Scotty's birthday, so Andrew gives him some well wishes, and Scotty also gives a shout out to James and Chelsea of "Dead Meat". Finally, at the end of the episode, Andrew chooses their next movie!"Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey" was directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield. In this alternate telling of the events that transpired after the stories in A. A. Milne's famous books, Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet are angry that Christopher Robin abandoned them in the 100 Acre Wood to nearly starve to death, and have since become feral and murderous. Some girls vacationing at an Airbnb in the forest find themselves new victims of Pooh and Piglet's homicidal rage.Follow us on social media:Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/groups/396586601815924Twitter - https://twitter.com/funwhorrorInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/fun_with_horror_podcast/FWH + Fangoria collab:For 20% off at the Fango Shop, just enter FUN_WITH_HORROR_PODCAST at checkout!

This week on No Simple Road we are extremely honored to have Bob Bralove and Tom Constanten of Dose Hermanos as our guests! Though both came to prominence associated with the Grateful Dead, Tom as keyboard player from 1968 to 1970, and Bob as an engineer, programmer, and occasional performer from 1987 to 1995, this music is Dead-like only in its wide-open, wholly improvisational exploration of a vast musical universe with only one rule: does the result, said Bralove, “feel like Dose?”This talk takes us all over the map of the 100 Acre Wood! Halloween at Believe in Books, Haunted Acre Wood and Rocky Horror Picture Show
⚡️ A horror podcast that feels like hanging around with friends! A few quotes from listeners:
HAUNTED ACRE WOOD AND ROCKY HORROR BELIEVE IN BOOKS LITERACY FOUNDATION
Winnie the Pooh from 100-Acre Wood is getting a horror adaptation with Blood and Honey. The rights to the character, originally created by A.A. Milne, have been owned by Walt Disney since 1966. But in January 2022, the beloved children's book character became public domain and so work began on the horror film. This brings to mind debates on ownership, expectations after creation of a piece of art or literature etc. and what its future should look like.
Join Mike & Neil for a rumbly tumbly adventure through the 100 Acre Wood to talk about two Winnie the Pooh games as well as a Curious George cel-shaded movie tie-in and a Franklin the turtle game that somehow did not release on the GameCube in North America. The boys talk about their memories with Winnie-the-Pooh, are shocked at the fact that he and his band of misfit animals are the fourth largest media franchise in the world, and give some love to Jim Cummings' great voice work. They of course discuss the movie tie-in game that's not really a movie tie-in; Piglet's Big Game which plays like an early Captain Toad game. Unfortunately the Franklin game doesn't quite live up to the memes but you'll have to listen to find out why!
This episode is another one that was temporarily lost due to technical issues. Back in March we talked in depth with Mark Piatkowski about what it was like transitioning from his NA4 Subaru that he works on mostly himself to a full blown homologated M-Sport Rally2 Ford Fiesta with all the bells and whistles at the Rally in the 100 Acre Wood.
This is a re-release of an episode from a couple months that had technical issues. We chatted with talked with Alex and Rhianon Gelsomino about their 100 Acre Wood experience, the current top level of competition this year and dodging wildlife. We also chatted with Leon Jordan of McKenna Motorsports about WRC cars and what makes theirs different from the Hyundai i20 used by Hoonigan. This was all recorded before the new ARA 2023 Open 4WD guidelines were released.
A Winnie The Pooh Horror Movie. Yeah, that's going to be a thing. Goodbye Ellen, Josh Duggar says hello prison, don't say "yes to the dress" just yet, Johnny Depp testifies and more.
Looking back at our childhood, Ben, Sam and Ryan come together to talk about the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh! The 1977 American animated musical anthology film produced by Walt Disney Productions and distributed by Buena Vista Distribution, we follow Winnie the Pooh through three great adventures which bring together the friends of the 100 Acre Wood! It is the 22nd Disney animated feature film and was first released on a double bill with The Littlest Horse Thieves on March 11, 1977. Just in time for Olympus, we talked with the top teams about thier experiences from 100 Acre Wood. Leon Jordan of McKenna Motorsports tells us about competing against another WRC car and their puncture issues. Alex Gelsomino of Hoonigan Racing talks about the local wildlife while Rhianon Gelsomino tells us how she thought that they won the Power Stage but celebrated a bit too early.
For Episode 68 of the Flatirons Syndicate Motorsports Podcast, Jon, Scotty, Tasso and Dussex sit down with the Flatirons Tuning Rally Driver Scott Crouch to talk about the 2022 100 Acre Wood Rally. This is the first rally of 2022 for us, and I knew that we had a bit of a stretch of bad luck, but it turns out that we have DNF's the last 5 Rally's that we attended. Needless to say that is a streak that we definitely wanted to break. The 100 Acre Wood Rally was absolutely huge this year. There were a record number of cars entered at just under 100 cars, and there were a lot of fast cars in both the National and Regional classes. We talk with Scotty about how the rally went for the Flatirons Tuning Rally team, as well as all of the other action that went on. Thanks for watching and Stay Tuned!

On the eighteenth installment of the Pop Goes The Classics series looking at the Disney animated features, Andy Atherton, Steve Riddle & Mirandia Berthold look at 1977's The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh. They discuss the many aspects of the film including: the great introduction of all of the residents of 100 Acre Wood; Sterling Holloway's performance as Pooh; Tigger's boundless energy; the addition of Gopher to the story; Heffalumps & Woozles; the seamless transition between the three independent stories & the enduring legacy of the characters. Join us in the 100 Acre Wood this week as we rank our favorite Winnie the Pooh characters. We discuss the ins and outs of the franchise, including huffing glue, tax fraud, mental illnesses, and why Alyssa can only play the piano right handed currently.
They said it couldn’t be done. They said it was unpossible, prepostiserous, and unmimaginableble, tet the Dunces have pulled it off. They managed to find a group of friends who are not only dumber than they are, but are also just as mean to each other - and all it really took was a clean sweep of the 100 Acre Wood. Start sippin' that juice, because it’s time for Piglet’s Big Movie!
Intro music is 100 Acre Wood from the Kingdom Hearts III soundtrack.Outro music is Candy's Music Store from the Donkey Kong 64 soundtrack.

Part 3 of the 100 Acre Wood review, it's all about NA4WD. We kick it off with regional overall winners Ryan and Rachel Rethy who had a fabulous run with some extremely close competition. Then it's Co-Driver Katie Gingras who with driver Chuck Surdyke was battling the Rethy's until they got a little over ambitious into a fast left hander. And finally it's a chat with Arek Bialobrzeski about his killer H6 swapped 2011 Subaru WRX hatchback that was so fast that it was competing with the R5s at the front.
It's our 100th episode! We start our chat with current ARA champion Barry McKenna who gives us all the details on his World Rally Car and all the changes they did to have it meet ARA regulations. It's always a treat to be joined by Martin Brady. 100 Acre Wood didn't go so well for he and Seamus, but their speed was remarkable. Then it's co-driver Cameron Carr with some stories about recce and what it’s like to compete in an R5 for the first time alongside driver John O'Sullivan.
Ken and Gar are going back to the 100 Acre Wood this week as they review Disney's 51st animated feature, Winnie the Pooh, first released in 2011. We compensate for our rubbishy gelatinous orbs in our skull and use astrophotography to reveal that the night skies above our heads to be full of dramatic colour, shapes and jewel like stars. Talking of which, we calculate that adding diamonds to the soles of your shoes, as first suggested by Paul Simon, can be a highly cost effective shoe construction technology compared with normal leather shoe resoling. It also stops Paul Simon from Slip Sliding Away. We examine the scandalous under treatment of psychological pathologies in Hundred Acre Wood and, helpfully in our view, suggest some interventions. We subject 'Yesterday' by the Beatles to our anagram treatment and much more.
In this show we chatted with a bevy of 2WD competitors including National 2WD winners Michael Hooper and Kevin Allen, 2nd in National Limited 2WD Ryan Sanders, 2nd overall Regional and 2WD class winner Steve Olona, and 3rd overall Regional 2nd in 2WD Al Dantes Jr. Be sure to follow these competitors at their social media links below: River City Rally Team Tower City Race Team Verve Racing GoSPEED Racing

Always Christine, never the coroner... this week on episode 199 (wow, so close to 200!) we're still battling side effects of our new medications but are wholeheartedly embracing all the many and varied ways we could feel uncomfortable next! We've also got some big and mysterious stories to distract us this week as Em takes us on an epic Scottish adventure to Loch Ness. That's right, Em is covering the legend of Nessie (and their potential love interest with some Xiinön-level falsies)! Then Christine covers an unsolved mystery that will leave you contemplating chimneys, folded clothes and cabins in the woods in the story of missing Colorado teen Joshua Maddux, also known as the Boy in the Chimney. And do you think Nessie could have been a vacuum cleaner this whole time? Either way, Em may have officially sent Christine over the edge and into the loch... and that's why we drink! Well, we recorded this about 2 week ago and I'm just now getting around to posting it. Apologies for the delay as life kind of got in the way. Anyway, in this episode we had a bit of an Open Paddock reunion where I'm joined by 2 former hosts from the previous version of OpenPaddock, Doug Patterson and John Olsakovsky. Doug is a well known motorsports photographer among his many other exploits, and John "The Race Fan" Olsakovsky has been to many an IndyCar and sportscar race, but this was his first ever stage rally. We didn't have any special guests this week other than our regular co-presenter Ian Holmes who co-drove the 100 Acre Wood in the 3 Triangles Rally Team rally truck. Since it was many of our first times to this event, we discussed our 100 Acre Wood experiences from that of a photographer, a co-driver, media host, and a rally first-timer. Thanks to the awesome volunteers and organizers for putting on such a kick ass rally!

Eleanor Rosamund Barraclough braves the fearsome heffalumps as she steps into the world of AA Milne. There's no secret about the inspiration for Winnie the Pooh. Thousands of people flock to the Ashdown Forest in East Sussex every year to track down Christopher Robin's tree and play Pooh Sticks. In his autobiography, Christopher Robin Milne wrote of a brief but blissful childhood spent amongst the trees with his battered teddy bear. Pooh's forest and the Ashdown Forest are, he wrote, identical. The writer, Brian Sibley, joins Eleanor for a walk through the forest and an appreciation of one of the saddest endings in literature. Christopher knows he has to leave his friends and return to school. That's enough to drive many adult readers to tears but Brian believes there will always be a boy and his bear sharing adventures in the 100 Acre Wood. Producer: Alasdair Cross
Nicole and Garret discuss Christopher Robin, disagree on the charm of the movie, and talk about the realities of work. Check out Vox for the overuse of lens flare. Fact check-- most people only work about three hours a day. Also in this episode, Garret describes how the 100 Acre Wood characters are used to illustrate various mood and personality disorders in psychology. Garret recommends Off Balance: Getting Beyond the Work-Life Balance Myth to Personal and Professional Satisfaction by Matthew Kelly and Life of Pi by Yann Martel. This week on The First Run, Chris and Matt discuss three, count ‘em three movies! First up, it's Bo Burnham's debut as writer/director of ‘Eighth Grade'. The slice of life crowd pleaser from this year's Sundance finally hits the local cinema. Is it as endearing and wonderful as the critics say? Or should Chris just rewatch ‘Princess Cyd' or ‘Lady Bird'? Matt reviews ‘Teen Titans Go To The Movies', the big screen version of the popular cartoon show. But who saw a better family-friendly film? Because Chris saw Disney's ‘Christopher Robin', the premiere of a live-action (sort of) Winnie the Pooh, along with his friends from the 100 Acre Wood. There's the always reliable rundown of the big releases on Blu-Ray & DVD, featuring the Straight to DVD and Streaming Picks of the Week. Then the show wraps with the return of ‘The Lounge' where your intrepid hosts tackle all the latest news; Ruby Rose as Batwoman and her quitting of Twitter, Idris Elba being looked at for Bond, and the Oscars' Popular Film category. It's a long one, so settle in for some top shelf movie talk!00:00-13:38: Intro/Eighth Grade13:39-24:00: Blu-Ray & DVD Picks24:01-30:06: Teen Titans Go The The Movies!30:07-35:03: Christopher Robin35:04-1:11:35: The Lounge1:11:36-1:13:15: Wrap UpTheme music provided by Jamal Malachi Ford-Bey
This week we wander into the 100 Acre Wood and review Christopher Robin! Hook meets Winnie the Pooh, Disney dives into the IP bank and tries to bring it to a new, live action, generation. I was out on this, but the film has some strong defenders too. We can find plenty to appreciate as a whole here and I think your mileage will probably be great than mine with the tone. So put on your kid shoes and dive back into the world of Winnie the Pooh. Apologies for all the Pooh puns. Download. Disney's Christopher Robin continues the company's decades-long project of co-opting every last smackeral of A.A. Milne's 100-Acre Wood in the mind of children the world over. While we wait to learn first hand that a little boy and his bear will indeed always be playing, we've decided to take a look at movies based on classic books, with our favorite films based on children's literature. In Worth Mentioning we cover Mission: Impossible - Fallout, Sorry to Bother You and The Equalizer 2.

Tonight we’re going to cover the Mazda Road to Indy! All three rungs were at St. Petersburg and each had two races: USF2000, Pro Mazda, and Indy Lights. There’s a whole bunch of new faces in all three branches and we also see several drivers graduating from one rung to the next. The Mazda Road to Indy is doing exactly what it’s supposed to do, graduating drivers from one level to the next on their way to the IndyCar series. We also talk about Simon Pagenaud’s retirement plans, the Rally in the 100 Acre Wood, and the recently announced 2019 broadcast deal. On balance it sounds like a great move for IndyCar, but a lot of questions still remain about the practice and qualifying sessions coverage, and the international deal is yet to be finalized.
This week on Episode 51 of Three Sheets to the Mouse, we take you back to the classroom for your Dh.D or Doctorate in Disney History. I turn my back for one little minute to step into Jeremy's home in Disney Indiana, and Lost Boy Eric returns to Evil-Land with some sort of device that allowed him to speak to Spider-Pan Jeremy! The two of them had lots to catch up on, with an announcement for Nintendo Switch and some news from Disney Parks. They had the courage to venture into the Neverland Trailer Park and watch the sneak peak of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. Two and a teaser for Logan, both upcoming films featuring Marvel characters. Atchison, KS is said to be the most haunted town in Kansas, and with Jeremy trapped on the other side, he managed to pay a visit. Take a trolley ride with a "paranormal investigator" through town and hear all sorts of scary stories that will shiver your bones. A long time ago, humans walked the face of the world, but were destroyed for their arrogance and hubris. The Bright Ones lifted up the simple animals of forest and field, giving them the ability to think, build, and stand on their own two feet. In order to keep the newly Favored animals from making the same mistakes the humans did, The Bright Ones gave them the Compact — a book telling them how to live together in harmony. Those who engage in dark deeds or refuse the ways of Harmony eventually become Dire — sinister, twisted versions of themselves, acting out of greed, vengeance, or selfishness. You must protect the town of Cairn and help it survive the winter. But beware! For you can become Dire, too. Last summer, Sean ran a one shot of Cairn. I enjoyed the game and thought you might appreciate learning about the system. Enjoy!
