We are ready for the start of the 2021 NFL playoffs as the Bucs, Chiefs and Cowboys swing into action and we are ready to discuss it all and make some Underdog predictions on "3 Dog Thursday." Host T.J. Rives is back and ready to discuss it all with Kevin Rogers of Vegas Insider. First, they debate the dramatic Georgia win Monday night over Alabama to capture the CFB National Championship. Just how did the Dawgs do it? And, just how dominant is the SEC? Then Kevin gives insight into the firing of Dolphins coach Brian Flores and what went wrong with a 9-8 seasons leading to him being gone? Then he and Kevin discuss two NFC Underdogs they like. Next, up is CBS Sports TV analyst Charles Davis, who will work the Patriots-Bills Saturday night AFC Wildcard showdown in frigid Buffalo. What does Charles think about the third matchup between these East rivals and their QBs Josh Allen and rookie Mac Jones? Then, T.J. previews the Bucs beginning defense of their Super Bowl title by hosting the Eagles with former NFL tight end Anthony Becht. Anthony not only worked the Bucs-Panthers game last Sunday on radio as a fill-in with T.J., but also the Saturday night Cowboys win over the Eagles, too. He gives his insight on both games and what it means for the playoffs? Finally, T.J. welcomes Sean Green of the Sports Gambling Podcast and the "Die Hard Eagles" show on the network. Sean obviously thinks Philly can hang with the Buccaneers Sunday afternoon despite being a huge doggie. He and T.J. spar over their chances against Tom Brady and Tampa Bay. The Buffalo Bills (6-3) host the Indianapolis Colts (5-5) in a Week 11 game with major playoff implications in the AFC. The game is also a rematch of a 2020 AFC Wild Card game, a 27-24 Bills win that gave Buffalo its first playoff win in 25 years. On the latest episode of the Billieve Podcast, hosts John Boccacino and Jamie D'Amico have everything you need to know as the Bills look to maintain their lead in the AFC East. Among the topics discussed: The Bills offensive line could be down two starters if right tackle Spencer Brown can't play due to being on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. How will head coach Sean McDermott shuffle the offensive line, and does it make sense to keep Daryl Williams at right tackle or kick him inside to right guard? The challenge defensive linemen DeForest Buckner and Kwity Paye pose to Buffalo's patchwork offensive line. The Bills could also be without defensive tackle Star Lotulelei and middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, making Buffalo vulnerable up the middle of the defense. Why the Bills should look to get Isaiah McKenzie, Matt Breida, and Dawson Knox involved on offense early and often. If Josh Allen has time to find his receivers, he should be in line for a big day against a Colts' secondary prone to giving up the big play. Jonathan Taylor is the co-rushing leader in the NFL, while Nyheim Hines is a dangerous pass catcher out of the backfield. How can Buffalo's defense slow down Indianapolis's 1-2 punch at running back? The Bills and Colts are the league's top two teams at forcing turnovers. Can Buffalo's defense get enough pressure on Carson Wentz and force him into errant throws? When Wentz airs it out, Michael Pittman Jr. is a talented weapon. Will Tre'Davious White draw the assignment, or will Levi Wallace get the challenge of covering Pittman? We close by giving our score predictions as Buffalo looks to defeat the Colts for the fourth time in the last five meetings. Starting off the New Year in, what else, fiery fashion as I deliver all of what the sports universe has to offer as Episode 172 gets us off and running. On deck: (3:23) The NFL crosses the regular season finish line, with kudos going out to Roger Goodell and company for completing the season in the world of the coronavirus. I'll touch on everything from the AFC Wild Card games being superior to the NFC. Week 17 winners & losers, Black Monday for NFL head coaches, storylines heading into Wild Card weekend, with a word on both the Chiefs and Packers. A preview of the six Wild Card matchups with predictions and much more. (47:36) I'll recap the College Football playoff semifinal as, quite frankly, there was nothing to write home about as Alabama dispose of Notre Dame and Ohio St. dismantles Clemson. I'll take an early look at the National Title Game to be played next Monday evening. (55:44) Time to start the clock on pitchers & catchers reporting to Spring Training, but the MLB Hot Stove is still as cold as a January day. What gives? Although the Padres continue to bolster their rotation by bringing in Yu Darvish. Are they thisclose to competing with the Dodgers in the NL West? As for the Mets, I'll have to bring the fan base off of the ledge as there's good reason why owner, Steve Cohen, has laid low during the free agency period. (1:02:58) The NBA for the most part has been quiet. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving didn't come through in the clutch, Steph Curry is in familiar form and Paul George is hearing a ‘lot of chirping' from his breathren throughout the league. I'll get into all of that. (1:06:07) Kentucky finally wins an NCAA basketball game. In double OT, with their Coach John Calipari ejected! (1:07:17) The NHL season raises its curtain next week as a couple of their big stars (Chicago's Jonathan Toews and new Washington Capitals D, Zdeno Chara) are discussed in regards to their health and new surroundings, respectively. (1:11:37) Plus, my Hero and Zero of the Week.
