The Governor of Texas, stepping up to defend his state's border because the federal government won't is the right thing to do but it's also a smart political thing to do. Democrats need to wake up. They're on the wrong side of this issue.

Despite what you may hear in the mainstream media, poll after poll demonstrate clearly that the American people have very little interest in being involved in Israel's war on Gaza. The latest poll, released this week, shows that a majority of ALL American voters want a permanent ceasefire. Meanwhile, US Congress keeps stoking the flames of war and the President keeps delivering weapons. Also today...even Germany's Die Welt admits that Ukraine war likely lost.
On this episode we have Thaddeus Russell on the show who makes that case that Americans should not support Israel. Thaddeus Russell, born on September 17, 1965, in Berkeley, California, is a historian known for his unconventional views, as showcased in his book "A Renegade History of the United States." Raised near the Black Panthers' headquarters by parents involved in the International Socialists, he pursued an education in history and philosophy, culminating in a Ph.D. from Columbia University. His academic career spans several prestigious institutions, including Columbia, Occidental College, and Barnard College. Russell is also the founder of Renegade University, an educational platform that mirrors his unique approach to history and philosophySupport the show

Mike Slater opens today's show with a shocking statistic from Pew: An alarming 32% of Americans aged 18 to 29 turn to the China-owned TikTok to get their news. What is that app teaching them? That Osama bin Laden, the monster behind 9/11, was actually not that bad of a dude apparently! Slater investigates and pontificates on this in great detail.Following that, Mike welcomes Breitbart's Living Legend John Nolte on to talk about life in small-town America and how our country is really made up of two distinct parts, but not in the way leftists describe it. Don't miss it!

A recent poll about the Hamas attack on Israel told us that overall, Americans do not support what Hamas did, there was no justification for it. Yet, a majority of the 18-24 crowd and a near majority of the 18-34 groups actually say Hamas was justified. Proof is in the unrepentant support of Hamas by the NYU Law School Student Bar Association President and the protests around college campuses everywhere. How is this generational divide happening? Also, are those same people calling on the government of Azerbaijan to stop its ethnic cleansing of Armenians living in their ancestral land? The silence is deafening. Oh, and we've got your NFL and College Football picks too! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

The post Ohio vote is yet another signal that Americans support abortion rights appeared first on NC Newsline.
A strong majority of American adults support U.S. Congress mandating background checks for all firearms sales and transfers. That's according to a national survey suggesting gun rights aren't as polarizing as we might think. The survey is from APM Research Lab, which is an investigative division within Minnesota Public Radio and the American Public Media Group. Managing editor Craig Helmstetter joined host Emily Bright to break down the results.

A new NPR poll affirms what we've been saying all along: most Americans are opposed to unlimited abortion! Plus, Grace and Moses discuss how Minnesota has become a left-wing experiment - treating Minnesotans as lab rats - and give a brief legislative update on the health omnibus bill with abortion provisions. Finally, Grace shares about the overwhelmingly negative responses Children's Minnesota received when they tweeted out their support for the Kidnapping Bill and Free Speech Ban. These dangerous pieces of legislation are out of step with the majority of Minnesotans–we do not want and did not ask for this, but we will continue to fight for children, parental rights, and God's design for family. Nearly a third of Americans -- and nearly 60% of MAGA Republicans -- say that resorting to violence to achieve political objectives is usually or always justified, according to new research from U.C. The findings come as prosecutors charge the man who last week violently attacked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband, and as threats against members of Congress continue to surge, having increased by nearly tenfold since 2016. We'll talk about the growing threat of political violence in the United States and what's driving it. Dr. Cassandra Crifasi, Deputy Director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Violence Solutions, joins Susie Jones to talk about gun violence in America and her work to influence gun legislation.
Enough with the thoughts and prayers already. Enough with the arguments that armed guards, or fortified buildings, bulletproof glass, ballistic backpacks, armed teachers or attending church will do anything to address the issue. We will NEVER be able to address the gun problem in this country until we do one very basic thing that is within all of our control. We are in a sad place when the best examples of leadership is coming from NBA coaches and late night comedians. Enough. As Sen Chris Murphy said this week, "what are we doing?"

Senate Democrats failed to pass a bill that would have codified the right to an abortion Wednesday, with West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin voting with all Republicans in opposition. Polls show a majority of Americans support Roe V. Wade, but opinions vary widely when it comes to restrictions like waiting periods, required ultrasounds, and gestational cutoffs. Also, we look at how different religions define the beginning of life, and what that means for the thorny political debate on abortion. “Republicans are calling it ‘Orwellian' and comparing it to the Ministry of Truth in the novel 1984,” Bash said. “Can you clarify what exactly is this? What exactly will this disinformation governance board do? Will it monitor American citizens?” Mayorkas conceded “we probably could have done a better job of communicating” the board's purpose, even as he defended it by citing foreign disinformation as a threat to homeland security. Bash continued to press Mayorkas on how the board will work, asking again “Will American citizens be monitored?”
The leak of the Supreme Court majority opinion overturning Roe vs. Wade may not be the final decision – but it was enough for Democrats to sound the alarm. CNN Political Director David Chalian dissects brand new polling from CNN/SSRS that shows a majority of Americans oppose overturning Roe vs. Wade. That's been the case for a while, but that's not the full story. Democrats think this issue can be a rallying call ahead of the midterms, but polling shows that might not be true at this point. A recently leaked draft of a Supreme Court decision indicates the court might plan to overturn Roe v Wade has added heat to an already contentious issue. While the abortion debate seems to be a war between two intractable sides, a large group of Americans stand in the middle who are both uncomfortable with the practice of abortion and supportive of Roe v Wade.
