Has anyone heard the great news? Lloyd Barnes has launched his very own website! Now you all can buy your very own sheep for personally pleasure. Russ Brown is one of the most well known magicians in the UK.  He is a co-organiser of The Blackpool Magic Convention which is the largest magic convention in the World.  He is also an incredibly busy performer and through his company he sends magic acts to venues all over the world.  He is also the owner and founder of The House Of Secrets which is the premier magic bar in The North. On top of all this Russ has also teamed up with David Brookhouse to start an initiative through Lancashire in schools.  Basically David and Russ are going into schools and delivering content that is based around magic that actually becomes part of the school curriculum.  This is not a one gig deal, David and Russ are working with schools all year round.  This is a really exciting initiative that could roll out throughout the UK and lead to extra works for hundreds of magicians.

Harry Nardi is a fairly new name to the world of magic and yet, in just a few short years, he has managed to achieve what some magicians aim to achieve throughout the course of their entire career! Starting working for his family business Alakazam Magic, working his first ever Blackpool Magic Convention at the age of 17, releasing his own highly regarded magic products to the magic community and getting to the live finals of the worlds biggest prime time TV talent competition, Britain Got Talent. Harry Robson is a legend, an absolute legend.  He has performed at a very high level his entire career.  Throughout his career he has helped organise The Blackpool Magic Convention, performed at events all over the world and created some of the most popular and commercial tricks of all time. Russ Brown is one of the busiest people in magic.  As well as running a company that supplies magicians to events all over the world he is also a full time performer and is basically the poster boy for magic in the Blackpool area.On top of a very busy career Russ also co-runs the largest magic convention in the world - The Blackpool Magic Convention.  He has been stage managing the convention since the age of 20 but now helps organise the whole thing.In this interview Russ talks about his career and how he went from a kid with an interest in magic to one of the most well known performers in the UK.  Along the way he gives advice on performing, marketing and getting ahead as a magician.Also Russ talks exclusively to Magic TV and Craig Petty about the future of The Blackpool Magic Convention.  He talks about the plans for the Virtual Convention on the 18th of April as well as what they have planned in 2022.

This week on Talk Magic we have Russ Stevens who is a legend of magic in the UK.Russ Stevens' career started in 1977 when at the age of sixteen, he won the coveted Magic Circle Young Magician of the Year Competition. Later that year he starred in their annual show in London's West-End, and was an immediate hit turning professional at the beginning of 1978.The years that followed saw a succession of appearances on prime-time television shows including a Paul Daniels Summer Special, The Magic Circle Show, The Good Old Days (for which Russ has the distinction of being the youngest magician to ever appear in the programs twenty-five year history), Blue Peter, Starburst, Illusions and Blackpool Bonanza. Also notable during this time was his appearance on the Snowy White pop video Bird of Paradise which reached number six in the UK pop charts.As well as an exceptional career as a magician and an illusionist Russ also founded RSVP Magic which has been responsible for some of the best and most creative instructional instructional magic DVD's ever made.  Over the years RSCP has been responsible for magic DVD's from the likes of Jamie Allen, Lee Smith, Martin Sanderson and Gary Jones to name a few.Russ now works very closely with Britains Got Talent.  He has been responsible for rise in popularity of magic acts on the programme and now works full time with BGT making sure magic is represented in the very best way possible.Finally Russ is also in charge of The Blackpool Magic Society that every year plans The Blackpool Magic Convention.  Over the last few years the convention has gone from strength under the watchful eye of Russ.

Blackpool Magic Convention is just around the corner, over 3,500 magicians will head to the Winter Gardens for a weekend of magic, illusion and entertainment.
