Good Evenin', all Continuing our series of ‘all artist' mixes, we give you Back To The Future #52 - Calibre, The Remixes. This is the ICON Series. Following the success of our Ivy Lab and Rufige Kru mixes we decided to look at another one of our inspirations. A foundation artist with tracks in most people's record collections, respected and admired around the world. Over the years we have listened to and enjoyed a fair few 'all Calibre' mixes from other DJs, such has been his impact on the scene. Throughout his colossal career, he has remixed a vast and varied array of artists and labels, always putting his unique, soulful and rolling Signature (!) on them. For this mix we've decided to focus on these remixes... Researching his discography, we found that we had collected a huge amount of his music over the years. After some negotiation, we managed to shortlist it to these 22. So where did we end up? An hour and ten minutes worth of lovely music, perfect for the car or... well anywhere really. B.Traits began making a name for herself in Vancouver, Canada in 2004 through her frequent dancefloor assaults on unsuspecting clubs across the Pacific Northwest. By the age of 21 she had already played alongside DnBís finest from North America and across Europe and, after teaming up with MC Kay to form Ladies Take Control (LTC), began to perform as part of DJ SSí legendary Formation crew. 2006 and 2007 saw the duo embark on Formationís World Of Drum & Bass tour and more recently B Traits has caught the eye of Shy FX and his Digital Soundboy camp, becoming the first official Digital Sound girl.
