In the briefing room of Home One, Caroline Blakiston gave life to Mon Mothma. Twenty years later, Genevieve O'Reilly would be brought to give new life to this character in Revenge Of The Sith, only to have those scenes cut. What is the future of Star Wars films? A recent article from The Hollywood Reporter claims that Rey Skywalker will have a pivotal role in the franchise beyond her stand-alone film directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Reportedly, Simon Kinberg will be developing a new trilogy, and while it's not known if it'll continue the Skywalker Saga, Rey will be a central figure. We discuss our skepticism on any future Star Wars film happening due to so many announcements that amount to nothing, but focus on our excitement for more Rey stories and the amazing potential her character has for the saga. Today is Election Day and we have thoughts. NANI RETURNS! After a long couple of months of studying for the bar, Nani has completed her mission and has returned to our galaxy. We continue our journey through LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy! Last time we shared our roundtable with writers/showrunners, Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit where we learned so much about their process and the importance of telling your own stories. Today, we share our interview with Robert Michael Moynihan Jr., but of course we all know him as Bobby Moynihan. In this special Bobby appropriately plays Jedi Bob, a character many know from his first appearance in the LEGO Republic Gunship set released in 2002. Bobby is no stranger to Star Wars, having played Orka in Resistance, Trader in The Bad Batch, and Geezer in Visions. Additionally he played multiple characters in the live-readings of The Naboo Movie and The Great Kamino Kaper.There was some great energy on this one with a very heartwarming moment. A new LEGO special has arrived. LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, a four-part miniseries is now streaming on Disney+. After a lot of fandom drama online, a LEGO special seems like the perfect thing to bring some fun and joy into our lives! The streaming model is broken and it has claimed The Acolyte as its latest victim.
