The holy Scriptures, from beginning to end, are filled with mentions and descriptions of the Heavenly Host: not to believe in angels is not to believe in the Bible. In the heavens they behold the face of God, eternally hymning His glory. They are intimately involved with mankind as well: an angel is appointed guardian over every nation, and over every individual Christian. The Archangels Michael and Gabriel, whom we especially commemorate today along with all the other bodiless powers, have served as messengers to man. "Michael" means "Who is like God?";"Gabriel" means "God is mighty." Gabriel especially was appointed to announce the coming of Christ in the flesh. There is no reckoning the number of the Heavenly Host, though we know that they are a great multitude. They are ranked in nine orders, called Thrones, Cherubim, Seraphim, Dominions, Powers, Authorities, Principalities, Archangels and Angels. "Angel" means "herald" or "messenger" and is properly applied only to those who serve as messengers from God to man; but the name is often applied to the entire host of bodiless powers. Though bodiless, the angels are finite in knowledge, extension and power. The angel Lucifer, once the highest of them all, desired to be like God Himself, and was cast forever from the presence of God, along with countless others who followed him. These we now know as Satan and the demons. (Needless to say, they are not commemorated today).

Friends of the Rosary,Today, September 29, is the feast day of the three Archangels named in Sacred Scripture, all with key roles in the history of salvation: Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael.Saint Michael is the "Prince of the Heavenly Host," the leader of all the angels, who cast down Lucifer and the evil spirits into Hell when they rebelled against God. His name is Hebrew for "Who is like God?". He is mentioned four times in the Bible, in Daniel 10 and 12, in the letter of Jude, and in Revelation.In 1899, Pope Leo XIII, having had a prophetic vision of the evil that would be inflicted upon the Church and the world in the 20th century, instituted a prayer asking for Saint Michael's protection to be said at the end of every Mass.Christian tradition recognizes four offices of Saint Michael: (i) to fight against Satan, (ii) to rescue the souls of the faithful from the power of the enemy, especially at the hour of death. (iii) to be the champion of God's people, (iv) to call away from earth and bring men's souls to judgment."I am Gabriel, who stands before God." (Luke 1, 19)Saint Gabriel, whose name means "God's strength," announced the Incarnation of the Word in the womb of Mary and the birth of John the Baptist to his father Zacharias. He also appeared to St. Joseph and to the shepherds, and "strengthened" Jesus during his agony in the garden of Gethsemane."I am the angel Raphael, one of the seven, who stand before the Lord" (Tob 12:15)Saint Raphael means "God has healed" because of his healing of Tobias' blindness in the Book of Tobit. Transforming Perspectives | Every person who has ever lived on earth, life will not end at death nor in the grave! Only, the persons who have accepted God's Grace of Salvation accomplished by Jesus Christ will abide with GOD. Heaven is a dwelling and a life, an existence in the eternal glory of Almighty GOD. Whereby, the heavenly hosts along with every form and matter such as stones, jewels and flowers reverence in obeisance, songs of praise continuously unto GOD. Apostle John saw in visions of the EndTimes, events of believers dwelling in heaven after being gathered in a manner similarly to Enoch and Elijah, being taken or caught up by the living creature witnessed by the Prophet Ezekiel.These Eschatological events identifying the EndTimes or the Last Days, represent periods of reconciliation and reckoning during Jesus Christ's 1000 year's reign on the earth. In which believers called the children of God abide in heaven from every earthly tribe, race, creed, and culture. Transformed as the new creature having been translated into the marvelous illumination of light of GOD. Children being presented before God the Father by Jesus Christ overflowing with exceedingly joy. God's children the same is of Yahweh, dressed by Christ in white linen, the garment of righteousness, and feasting at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, celebrating with Jesus Christ and his Bride, the Church. Also, descending with Christ to judge with him upon the earth, as Jeremiah saw in visions of the throne of judgment of heaven and was encouraged not to become dismayed. Because, as Christ says to each of us, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. The holy Scriptures, from beginning to end, are filled with mentions and descriptions of the Heavenly Host: not to believe in angels is not to believe in the Bible. In the heavens they behold the face of God, eternally hymning His glory. They are intimately involved with mankind as well: an angel is appointed guardian over every nation, and over every individual Christian. The Archangels Michael and Gabriel, whom we especially commemorate today along with all the other bodiless powers, have served as messengers to man. "Michael" means "Who is like God?";"Gabriel" means "God is mighty." Gabriel especially was appointed to announce the coming of Christ in the flesh. There is no reckoning the number of the Heavenly Host, though we know that they are a great multitude. They are ranked in nine orders, called Thrones, Cherubim, Seraphim, Dominions, Powers, Authorities, Principalities, Archangels and Angels. "Angel" means "herald" or "messenger" and is properly applied only to those who serve as messengers from God to man; but the name is often applied to the entire host of bodiless powers. Though bodiless, the angels are finite in knowledge, extension and power. The angel Lucifer, once the highest of them all, desired to be like God Himself, and was cast forever from the presence of God, along with countless others who followed him. These we now know as Satan and the demons. (Needless to say, they are not commemorated today).

In the third and final episode of our series on the angelic, Adam Gahan shares his journey of seeing in the spirit and interacting with the angelic. In part two of our series on angels, we explore how to recognize the presence of angels in dreams. As we see throughout Scripture, there are many times when angels appear overtly. However, there are also times when they appear in more veiled forms both in our dreams and in waking life. Most often, angels blend into your dreams, appearing as familiar figures like authority figures or even ordinary people. We can begin to discern their presence and purpose through their names and their actions, and tuning into how God speaks to us through patterns and details in our life.Angels in dreams can appear in various symbolic forms, such as police officers, jailers, gas station attendants, birds—yes, birds!—and many other surprising shapes. By recognizing these symbols, we can begin to hone our discernment and understand their purpose. Identifying their presence invites us to ask God what they are doing and why they are there as it pertains to accomplishing the purposes of the Kingdom. What do they do? How can we partner with them? Do we partner with them?
