Join me as I interview people of all faiths, all belief systems, and hear their stories of magic and witness. Hear how God/Spirit/Energy has shown up in their lives and changed them forever.
Listeners of Byte Sized Blessings that love the show mention: miracles, around us, witness, divine, spirituality, humans, opportunity, messages, uplifting, break, lives, short, inspirational, across, stories, heart, personal, hope, world, different.
The Byte Sized Blessings podcast is truly a gem in the world of podcasts. It provides a much-needed break from the daily grind and takes listeners into a world of storytelling that explores spirituality and the unseen forces at work in our lives. Whether you're on a drive or cooking dinner, this podcast offers a relaxing and thought-provoking experience that reminds us to be open to the magic around us.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is its ability to tap into different perspectives and experiences with spirituality. From interviews with individuals who have had profound encounters with the divine to those who have found meaning and purpose in their everyday lives, each episode offers a unique and captivating story. The host, Kirsten, does an excellent job of highlighting the best of humanity through her thoughtful questions and genuine interest in her guests' stories.
Another great aspect of this podcast is its diversity. The featured individuals come from various backgrounds and belief systems, providing a well-rounded exploration of spirituality. This not only broadens our understanding of different faiths but also allows for more relatable stories that resonate with listeners regardless of their own beliefs.
However, one potential drawback of this podcast is that it may not appeal to those who are strongly opposed to anything religious or spiritual. While the podcast doesn't push any specific religion or belief system, it does focus on exploring spirituality in various forms. This might deter some listeners who prefer content that is more secular or grounded in scientific explanations.
In conclusion, The Byte Sized Blessings podcast is a must-listen for anyone seeking inspiration, reflection, and connection. Its diverse range of guests and thought-provoking stories provide an opportunity to explore spirituality from multiple angles without being preachy or exclusive. Whether you are religious or not, this podcast has something valuable to offer. So take a break, tune in, and discover the hidden beauty and magic that surround us all.

I was so lucky to have Rand say "yes" to being on this podcast because, simply, he tells a story that is so powerful, and such a good reminder that we can be of service (indeed, as Rand says, that is the ONLY reason we are here) to our family members, to those we care about, our friends as well as the greater world out there and help to make this world a more beautiful place!Rand has had many adventures and truly has lived life with gusto-AND, he was there for his brother when his little brother needed it-mired in grief and moving through the loss of his beloved wife Rand decided then and there that he was going to accompany his brother on the Appalachian Trail, no matter the consequences. He knew his brother needed a helping hand...and so began their journey on the Trail! Filled with comedy, a few scary moments and moments that existed out of time, their trip on the Trail changed their lives, as you'll hear in this conversation, and just might change yours by hearing it!Check out Rand's website here!Buy his book, "A Spiritual Passage, here!I WOULD SO APPRECIATE A RATING OR A REVIEW...THEY HELP MY HEART FEEL HAPPY!Your bit of beauty is this little song by The Three Rivers Singers from Rome, Georgia. I had the very great privilege of interviewing Hilary Momberger Powers this week and to say that her story is about resilience would be the understatement of the century! And frankly, we need to step back and realize something...that Hilary, as you'll hear, is truly the miracle this episode, all wrapped up in generosity and wisdom and kindness and a capacity to forgive, which ties in to her miracle story. She was a child star, who found herself in an impossible situation...and I don't want to ruin it by giving it away, but I just sat back and let her talk, and share, and open up about parts of her life that were heartbreaking and hurtful and still echo down the timeline to today. But she has a story to tell...and I urge you all to deeply hear it. Healing is possible, healing is necessary, and healing is available to us all...we just need to grab the opportunity when it comes to us.To read up on this resilient human, click here!To check out her Insta, click here!I thank her again for being on the show and being her glorious self! Please do rate and review the show, it warms the cockles of my heart! Thank you!Your bit of beauty is this: someone shared today that when asked what his religion was, the Dalai Lama replied, "My religion is kindness." Check out this YouTube about that statement, kindness and compassion, and how it all, ultimately, leads back to the Divine!

David Hunter is someone who lives close to the soul of the world. I say this because his life is made up of synchronicity, of magical happenings and still, a close and dear relationship with his parents, who are no longer in this reality with us. He tells all these stories and more, including one about the day he got let go of his job...and how the Universe stepped in to help him, right away!It behooves us to understand these types of people, those who have faith in the World. They can be excellent models for us, and light a way forward for us to follow. So listen to David and deeply hear what he has to say...magic is abundant and everywhere, we just need to partner with it.To check out David's company, Global Phytoplankton, click here! Please consider leaving a review or rating...they make my heart sing!! Tra lalalalala...see?Your bit of beauty is this cool science mini-doc titled "Why We Owe Our Lives to Phytoplankton" from SciShow and put out by the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Hi all!I have a really special human to introduce to you this week, AND, it was made super-deluxe special because I got to interview Jesse in person, a very rare experience for me!You'll hear how I met Jesse and how we got to talking and how I convinced him to be on the pod (hint, it wasn't hard, he was very gracious!), and just how he ended up being a traveling musician and spreading his goodness and his talent all over the U.S. His story is a familiar one, but one we need to hear again and again. Sometimes we just need to step off the cliff into uncertainty and be brave, so as to discover the treasure and the possibility waiting for us. And guess what? Jesse shares four songs on the show...unique and fabulous creations from his own mind and heart...so don't miss those! If you want to find out a bit more about Jesse, here is his Insta! His Bandcamp is here AND, here is the link to Spotify and his incredible array of musical offerings!I've decided that amidst all of the bad news and negativity it behooves all of us to remember that there are so many wonderful humans in the world and in fact, they outnumber the naysayers and negative-nellies by 100 to one. (yes, I said negative-nellies!!) Jesse is a prime example of human splendidness, so soak up his generosity, his creativity and his really funny sense of humor. And then remind yourself that the world is a good place. Please consider leaving a rating or writing a review! I would be so grateful if you would do so as it makes my heart happy!Your bit of beauty this episode is Jesse's YouTube and this video, "Taking Off," Jesse's submission to NPR's Tiny Desk Concert. It's groovy laid-backness and sultry style will have you dancing!!

Hi all and welcome to the pod. There is some sobering news these last few days, and while ruminating about it I decided that the only way we are going to get through what is coming is with each other. With kindness, decency and being compassionate. With open hearts and open minds. With love and empathy. And, of course, with story! (hint: I'm talking about this podcast!) This episode I'm introducing you to Michelle Henderson, an all around groovy human who has really embraced her psychic ability and is using it to help all of us. She's gracious, she's funny and she wears her authority lightly, and I rest easier at night just knowing that she is here to do the work and help the rest of us navigate the world! To read more about this bright light in the darkness visit her website! To check out her Insta click here! And to buy any of her books click here! I greatly appreciate everyone who listens, and if you want to show some love for the pod, please write a review or leave a rating. I would be so, so very grateful! Your bit of beauty is this musical composition, "Waloyo Yamoni", created and arranged by Christopher Tin. Seriously, after the news this week this song and mash-up between the Lango language from Africa, they are lyrics from a rainmaking litany and it is quite simply the most gorgeous music I've heard in a long time!

Kelli tells a gorgeous story this week, well, to be fair, several gorgeous stories-about how she has ended up in this liminal space of imagination and myth and dream, about how healing can occur when you least expect it, and how one can suddenly find themselves working with the musician Moby, (also when you least expect it!). Her life story is one of synchronicity and magic and great, great love. And guess what? She's taking all of her alchemical skills and going further and deeper into the darkness than ever before, to bring us magic from those depths, and to help us all live more intentional and transformational lives. Her website, Greater Mysteries, holds so much fabulous magic on it's own, and explains the work she is doing in the world and especially, in caves. Check it out here! To do an in depth dive on Kelli, here is her personal website! And her Wiki! And then, you should absolutely not forget her Insta, because it is full of goodness for all of us! Find her Insta here! I hope, on this Solstice, that you find consolation, magic, music and beauty, and that this day is one full of good friends, walks in nature and reminders that even the Earth at times, stands still. (if even just for a moment!) Please do consider giving a rating or a review...they help ever so much! And your bit of beauty is this! Kelli's YouTube! (I mean, could it be anything else?) Hi all! And Happy Sunday! This time the good news that I'm sharing is that Russell Van Brocklen is in the world and changing it for those with Dyslexia and those who find themselves in Special Ed! I remember being in High School and seeing those kids, the ones who "didn't fit" in regular school and who seemingly had an alternate life in high school, with different teachers and classrooms. But also, because of this, they weren't included in a lot of school activities, and often were considered "other." Well, Russell, who has dyslexia himself, has created an educational tool to help those who struggle with reading and now he's looking to bring it to a wider audience, and help kids all over the U.S., if not the world! To check out what Russell is doing, here is his website! As well as his Insta! We need these people in the world who have the capacity to see where things could be changed and then creating some magic for those that need it...so I guess we all should start considering, how do I bring my magic into the world...because we all desparately need and want it! (or at least I do!) PLEASE CONSIDER RATING AND REVIEWING, I WOULD BE EVER SO GRATEFUL! (and my ancestors will thank you!) Your bit of beauty is this: an informational video about dyslexia and the six different kinds that we know about. It's just another way to stay informed and develop our compassion, for those who are different!

Hi all! This time I'd like to introduce you to Diana Divine, Soul Guide, Galactic Shaman, and Quantum Activator. She has her very own podcast, "Soul Communication," which you can find here! Working with our higher selves and our angels and other blessed beings, we can come ever closer with the energies that govern this reality. At the end of the interview Diana gifts us a light-language meditation, so be sure not to miss it! Diana's website is here! Her Insta is here! There is no doubt in my mind that Diana is on this planet for many reasons, not the least is to give us a peak into how this mysterious universe works. To buy her book, "Mastering Quantum Creation: Awaken the Phoenix Within, Manifest Your Reality, and Reclaim Your Cosmic Power" click here! I mean, not all of us are going to have the experiences that she does, and so a little bit of a guide might benefit all of us! Check it out when you have the time! Please consider rating and reviewing the pod, it would mean CHRISTMAS HAS COME EARLY THIS YEAR! HO! HO! HO! Your bit of beauty this week is this: this heart-warming story about an 88 year old man who was still working full time because our society and his community had completely failed him. But not completely. Because his story got some media exposure and the Internet came running! By the end of it, a GoFundMe has set him up for the rest of his life! Tis the season to spread blessings everywhere!

Hi all, and boy howdy am I ready to introduce you to this episode's guest Kevin Palmieri! He is the poster child for never giving up, enduring even when things are dark and the way through seems almost impossible, and then, dusting yourself off and continuing...despite those voices in your head telling you that all WILL NOT BE WELL, no matter what you do. Kevin kept going and because of it, he is bringing so much goodness and beauty to people all over the world! (and he hopes to bring so much more as you'll hear in the episode!) For his YouTube, click here! For Next Level University's Podcast on Apple, click here! For his Insta, click here! WOOT! Thanks to all of you little love nuggets who listen, you make my life so much shinier! And here, your bit of beauty...which is also funny and ridiculous because I just have a wild hair today...the trailer from "Universal Soldier" the ever so silly and delightful movie that Kevin and I discuss during the episode. It's still not a classic, but it is so of it's time! Enjoy, if you dare!

Kristin is a true powerhouse, and someone who creates the world around her. She's unstoppable (but isn't that true of so many of my splendid guests?) and quite sure that the world is hers to shape! And it is, actually, and you'll understand that once you hear her stories. She's survived more than most of us has and guess what? She didn't allow the darkness and the brokenness of the world to keep her down. She kept her faith and kept on rising, and that, my friends, is why I admire her! To read a bit more about Kristin and her alchemical work, here's her website! And here's her link to her Facebook! Do yourself a favor and acquaint yourself with this stellar human being! Woot! Please consider rating and reviewing the podcast, it would mean ever so much! (All of my ancestors thank you, btw...) Your bit of beauty is this: this season of gratitude it is so important to reflect and step back from the busyness and actually SEE what is beautiful in my life, who makes my life more sparkly, shinier! What makes my heart sing...and then sing a song of praise and thankfulness for it. So here are some FAB quotations about gratitude for you to check out. Each and every one is worth knowing!

Reed tells so many stories this episode, and all of them are so groovy! (you can absolutely tell that he excels as a storyteller and troubadour simply because he is a natural born teller of tales!) He shares what happened one time on a mountain hike...and how being polite and kind changed his life forever (it's always the moments you never suspect that will change everything!) as well as how his grandmother, fierce math prodigy and grand-mama bear had his back! This conversation is full of laughter (probably too much tbh) and heart-healing revelations, and is simply the cherry on top of the double-decker release of BOTH Paloma Estevez's and Reed's episodes! To check out SUN & THE SAINT, why, here's their website! And to check out their YouTube, click here! And then, last but not least, their Spotify! And if you need to check out (you know you want to) Prineville, where Reed grew up, here's a link to their City Website. It looks like we missed the Turkey Shoot in November, but they have a Holiday Sale on Dec. 13th that is not to be missed! PLEASE AND THANK YOU, REMEMBER TO RATE AND REVIEW...IT HELPS EVER SO MUCH! Your bit of beauty is this: a guide to beginning Barefoot Hiking from "Popular Mechanics." Check it out when you have the time!

Hi all, it is with great pleasure that I introduce you to Paloma Estevez, one-half of the duo Sun & The Saint! (you'll meet Reed tomorrow!) Leaning into her ancestral genetics (it's all about creativity and talent, people!) Paloma has reimagined her life into one that is filled with much of what she's always wanted-a band she loves, a partner (in life and the band!!) who is all about hard work and fun (because you should never forget about FUN!) and so much possibility...and for Paloma (and Reed, who you'll meet tomorrow ;-)), at this point, the sky's the limit! Our conversation was truly delightful, and hearing her stories helped me understand that it is only through hard work, and deep dreaming, that we all can attain our desires! To check out Sun & The Saint, here is their website! To view their really groovy and FUN Insta, click here! And to check them out on Spotify, click here! Hooray! PLEASE REMEMBER TO RATE AND REVIEW, IT MEANS YOU REALLY, REALLY LIKE ME! (thank you Sally Field!) To watch that famous acceptance speech, click here! Your bit of beauty is this: this insanely awesome music video by Sun & The Saint, where they rock the house (or the hillside) just a little bit!! xo

It was sheer pleasure interviewing Lance last week, and his story was so powerful and inspirational I just had to get it out to you all, ASAP! This time of year, when family is so present, when we might have issues being around those with our DNA, when old stories and old arguments might surface? Well, it felt like the perfect time to release this conversation, one which has a very surprising ending! (in the longer interview!) Lance is so many things...entrepreneur, architect, builder, professor, YouTuber, accomplished fisherman and last but not least, a human being who is open to the mystery that is life! His radical story reminds us that it is never too late to heal the ruptures and hurt feelings that happen in families, and to find new connections, no matter where they are in the world! Here is Lance's very splendid website! And his seriously fun YouTube Channel, Fishing With Lance! Please do yourself a favor and check out this dynamic and really great human! Please remember to rate and review!! (it helps other people find this labor of love of mine!) Your bit of beauty is this: this super cute, very short video about a little kid, and THE FISH THAT GOT AWAY!!

Friends, this week I'm introducing you to Mari Reisberg, who, you'll hear, is just one spectacular human being! Growing up in a very psychic household, Mari was into labyrinths (her Mom built one in the yard) and telepathy (she and her Mom just had this THING going on!) and all sorts of other spooky events (Victorian ghosts in the basement anyone?) so that everyday, it was, ho hum, there's another weird thing happening...and it became a joke for Mari and her friends. But it was the day she had this dream, y'all...THIS DREAM...that changed everything for her. Mari has her very own groovy pod called "Sustaining Creativity" which you can access here! and then, her Insta is here! I encourage you all to check both out because Mari is a GEM! Please consider rating and reviewing because IT MAKES ME HAPPY!! WHEEEEE! Your bit of beauty is this: this super-duper cool oldest-maze-in-the-UK, Hampton Maze! And I found this story/quotation hilarious, "We'll just go in here, so that you can say you've been, but it's very simple. It's absurd to call it a maze. You keep on taking the first turning to the right. We'll just walk around for ten minutes, and then go and get some lunch.'" Ahem. The passage above is taken from Jerome K. Jerome's Three Men in a Boat (1889). The character, Harris, leads the tourists into the maze and they subsequently get lost for hours. Now who's laughing?

Hi all! Here is a bit more of the conversation with Scott Wells...a bit more detail about his early life, more reflections on Rosa Parks and about that really scary Ouija Board! (and how it is so important to show up for each other, however we can!)

Welcome to the final installment of SPOOKY and Scott Wells' story of what happened one day in high school, that cemented his belief in the afterlife (as well at the Ouija Board!)! This Day of the Dead weekend, drop down into this last episode, filled with sweetness and sorrow, with hardship and abandoned mental wards, and understand that the world of the Dead is far closer than we understand. Scott's tale is terrifying, jaw-dropping, and not for the faint of heart. But I have belief in you listeners, that you'll be able to hear Scott's tale and not pass out from fear! (maybe, maybe you won't pass out from fear!) Suffice it to say that Scott has had multiple experiences with the inexplicable, but this last tale this episode takes the cake! To read up on Scott and his adventures in the world, here is his website! As well, here is a link to buy his book, "Marked By The Ouija." The book is drescribed as "perfect for fans of paranormal thrillers and spine-tingling horror, Marked by the Ouija explores the sinister consequences of unchecked curiosity." WE ALL KNOW THAT CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT, RIGHT? ;-) thanks for riding along this season for tales both spooky and bold, and remember, be careful of THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT! Here is a bit of spooky beauty for you this week: from Nat Geo, this gorgeous video all about THE DAY OF THE DEAD!

Hello ghosts & goblins! Here is another re-release in our October Spooktacular...told by the lovely Holly-you remember her...world-changer, unstoppable social justice warrior, and definitely NOT the Mother of someone called Sam! Holly very graciously allowed me to put this episode out into the world again, just in time for the season! It's a true story of thrills, chills and really, a note that home inspections (before you commit to a place) really should consider including an exorcism! HAPPY GHOST HUNTING EVERYONE!

Greetings everyone and welcome to this episode and my convo with the delightful Jennessee Rosenberg! She's not only funny, (unlike the fairies!) but she's also an herbalist, a trauma process facilitator, AND an artist as well! There's no doubt in my mind that Jennessee is creating beauty wherever she goes, whether that's through her free White Light Meditation (see the link below) OR, through her incredible sense of humor (see her interview, right here, and how stinky fairies are!!), or just the fact that she allows that the Little Folk do exist, and have just as much right (if not more) to exist and be allowed to frolic on this planet and sometimes playing tricks on we unsuspecting humans! Just in the nick of time for Halloween and The Day of the Dead, this interview reminds us that we share this planet with all sorts of beings and it very much pays to be aware of that, and respectful of their great presence! To read up on Jennessee and her work, here is her fab website! To listen and check out that White Light Meditation, click here! (Scroll down the page a bit!) PLEASE REMEMBER TO RATE AND REVIEW THE POD! I WOULD BE EVER SO GRATEFUL! (and...boo!) Your bit of beauty is this: This fabulous article, (with pictures!) about the greatest fairy hoax of all, "“There are fairies at the bottom of our garden,” announces the opening line of a poem by Rose Fyleman first published in 1917. Coincidentally, that was also the year two intelligent and talented young conspirators managed to convince some very well-known people that there really were fairies living near Cottingley Beck, the stream that ran past the foot of their garden." (with pictures!) xo

Welcome to the continuation of our October Spooktacular and our conversation with JV Hilliard, who was last seen on Ep. 164! JV has a special tale to tell, all about a boy named Billy, a cemetery where ghosts roam in the night and a special friendship that developed, much to everyone's dismay! thank you for staying tuned for these spooky episodes! They have been so much fun to produce! BOO!

Hello my lovelies and welcome back to another episode of the pod, and another human being who changing the world! This time I am introducing you to Drew Ann Long, change-maker, world-builder and someone who does not believe in the word "NO", especially when one is trying to make this world better, and shinier, for everyone else! To read about Drew and Caroline's Cart, and Caroline's Cause, click here! To connect with her on Facebook, click here!
