Listeners of Byte Sized Blessings that love the show mention:The Byte Sized Blessings podcast is truly a gem in the world of podcasts. It provides a much-needed break from the daily grind and takes listeners into a world of storytelling that explores spirituality and the unseen forces at work in our lives. Whether you're on a drive or cooking dinner, this podcast offers a relaxing and thought-provoking experience that reminds us to be open to the magic around us.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is its ability to tap into different perspectives and experiences with spirituality. From interviews with individuals who have had profound encounters with the divine to those who have found meaning and purpose in their everyday lives, each episode offers a unique and captivating story. The host, Kirsten, does an excellent job of highlighting the best of humanity through her thoughtful questions and genuine interest in her guests' stories.
Another great aspect of this podcast is its diversity. The featured individuals come from various backgrounds and belief systems, providing a well-rounded exploration of spirituality. This not only broadens our understanding of different faiths but also allows for more relatable stories that resonate with listeners regardless of their own beliefs.
However, one potential drawback of this podcast is that it may not appeal to those who are strongly opposed to anything religious or spiritual. While the podcast doesn't push any specific religion or belief system, it does focus on exploring spirituality in various forms. This might deter some listeners who prefer content that is more secular or grounded in scientific explanations.
In conclusion, The Byte Sized Blessings podcast is a must-listen for anyone seeking inspiration, reflection, and connection. Its diverse range of guests and thought-provoking stories provide an opportunity to explore spirituality from multiple angles without being preachy or exclusive. Whether you are religious or not, this podcast has something valuable to offer. So take a break, tune in, and discover the hidden beauty and magic that surround us all.
Holy Cannoli everyone, I could NOT WAIT to release this interview and this conversation I had with the ridiculously talented and funny Gretchen Menn! Some of what you will learn this episode: *Why Gretchen is a badass *How the word "mundane" means very different things to different people *Three examples of magic/miraculous events *How we should all avoid joining cults AND, finally, WHY GRETCHEN IS A BADASS! (Did I mention that already, oh yeah, but it bears repeating!) Gretchen is a guitarist for the group Zepparella, (as well as a solo artist!) and is so exquisitely adept on the guitar (but it's not her only instrument) that my jaw dropped watching her play. Please check out these below to see just what I'm talking about! There is no doubt in my mind that Gretchen is changing the world for the better by showing up and kicking ass just in general. Fading by Gretchen Menn, featuring Kirsten Menn, soprano, and Emily Palen, violin Valentino's Victory Lap by Gretchen Menn, Directed by Eric W. Shamli Gretchen's website- please, do yourself a favor and do a deeper dive on this creative and intelligent human! Gretchen's Wiki I was so grateful to Gretchen for her time and her laughter. She's an impeccable storyteller and our conversation was electric!! (because, puns!) Please share this podcast with those you love, as well as those you only slightly tolerate! ;-) And consider leaving a rating or a review, they help others find the pod! Finally, here is your bit of beauty...yes, another gorgeous video of Gretchen doing what she does best, rocking out and making it look easy! I myself think it is such a good thing to witness other humans in their elements, shaping and changing the world for the better, with the magic they create! Hello all! This time I'm introducing you to Arlene Miller, who tells a story we might be familiar with-one where we don't fit, where we have the sense that we might be in the wrong family, and something, we don't know what, is missing! (I know I felt like I JUST HAD TO BE ADOPTED when I was a kid!) Arlene goes on to tell us a story, and one that *also* might be familiar...where we find our tribe, our belonging, in the most unexpected of places! And that life, or the Universe, or Spirit, has a plan for us all along, and sometimes we just have to be patient (without ever losing that FAITH that all will be well!) To check out Arlene and her grooviness click here! To share the podcast, just open your mouth in a crowded area and shout "I KNOW THE COOLEST PODCAST EVER AND YOU ALL HAVE TO LISTEN TO IT!" HAHA! but seriously, sharing is caring! Your bit of joy? This video from Nat Geo that talks about happiness...which is a good place to start on your way to Joy. Because while Joy can sometimes sneak up on you unawares, it can also be something you nurture and cultivate. So do it, take the time to watch this video...and begin your own path to UNSTOPPABLE JOY!

Hello fellow humans! Thank you for your patience this last week as I finished up my work with the Santa Fe International Literary Festival, but guess what? I now have oodles of time to create beauty! (and podcasts). *You lucky ducks!* This time I get to introduce you to Ash Perrow, who has quite a story to tell! After suffering an NDE, Ash tells of what happened after, and the promise that he made in that diffuse and dark place, one which earned him the right to return to the land of the living! And as Robert Frost said, in his poem "The Road Not Taken," Ash's choice has made all the difference. It has meant that he is able to show up for those who need help, show up for all of us when he models what a true life looks like, and show up for my show, to inspire all of us who listen! To read a bit more about Ash and his work, click here! Your bit of beauty is this poem, by Robert Frost, one that urges all of us to live a life full of our uniqueness, and our unique choices...choices that will make all the difference. The Road Not Taken Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. Love you babes...have a beautiful week! xo

When Albert stepped out his front door that morning, or really, joined that My Space group that was created by his college, he could have no idea how his life was going to change. And that's the way it works, right? Every day is a new beginning, full of potential adventure and new friends! (and sometimes, love, but that's another story!) But anyway, back to Albert! His story this week, powerful and devastating, is all about seizing the day, understanding what is precious, and how a single person can change worlds! To read up about Albert and his splendid work, click here! To check out my website, for some secret info, click here! Remember when life was simpler and My Space didn't exist? I do, and sometimes I hanker for those days. The days when people looked eachother in the eye, didn't have their eyes on their phones 24/7, and when humans actually noticed the world. BECAUSE, there's a whole lotta beauty happening out there, you just have to actually notice it! So here, your bit of beauty- and I've made no secret of my love of the heavens, and the Hubble Telescope. I think it behooves us to look up every once in awhile, and understand just how small we are. Until then, here is a collection of exquisite Hubble images, just to wet your whistle!

Folks, meet Gwyneth Flack, an intrepid soul navigating this world with great grace-and doing it all while knowing and seeing far more about this reality than most of us. As a child, Gwyneth KNEW things...and often, in her innocence, disclosed those things to the adults around her. Instead of her parents shutting her down and telling her to be quiet, they encouraged this rare gift in their daughter and helped her to come to peace with her unusual way of knowing. But it was an event when she was four-years old that really cemented it for Gwyneth-that this world is enchanting, that our souls live forever, and that magic, REAL MAGIC, is everywhere! To read about Gwyneth and what she's doing in the world, click here! To get her book, Limitless: Transform Your Life With Intuition and Creativity, click here! DON'T FORGET TO RATE AND REVIEW IF YOU LIKE WHAT YOU HEAR! MY HEART WILL THANK YOU! Your bit of beauty is this: it's Spring and Easter...so this video of birdsong is just the ticket! Listen to those little nuggets SING!!

Hello babes! This weekend I am introducing you to David Richards ~ a former Marine, an Author, a Yogi and an all around incredible guy! He tells a story of forgiveness this week that is so POWERFUL that it had my jaw dropping during the telling. He also talks about his Near Death Experience that happened when he was a kid, and the fact that the memories returned later in life, to affirm something that David already suspected (is there a human soul or what?) makes it even more profound of a story. To check out what David is doing in this world, click here! THANK YOU ALL FOR LISTENING AND FOR THE REVIEWS! THE HUSTLE IS REALLY, REALLY, REAL, AND EVERY REVIEW HELPS SO VERY MUCH! I appreciate all the love and attention you give the pod everyone, it warms my heart! Your bit of beauty is this: something regional from New Mexico! Recently, some friends sent me video of a celebration-one that happened because they had just finished cleaning their acequia, for the 307th year in a row!!!! and every year, there's a huge party afterwards with community and friends. You might not have heard that word, acequia, but in the high desert, they are needed lifelines...and centuries ago, were carved into the land to bring water to thirsty farmland and farms. It's a sacred tradition honoring the land, honoring the water, and honoring the ancestors. This here is just the trailer, but I encourage you to watch the whole film. It's a sweet reminder that sometimes humans can work in tandem with nature, and not against it.

I'm sure of all of us have heard of the Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes, right? Especially if ANY of us went to Church, or Thursday School...and how from just a few pieces of bread and a few fish, Jesus created a whole lotta abundance and food for a whole lotta people! Well my guest this week tells a story about her parents, but especially her Father, and his dedication and love for his Church. How he showed up, throughout his life, for everyone around him, and how his presence became the bedrock of that church. His life, his passion, his desire, was to lift others up, to be a witness for them, and to improve not only their lives, but by association, the lives of everyone else around them. He was a true minister to the people and included everyone, no matter who they were. Jeanne tells a story of what happened at her parent's memorial...which I have named "The Miracle of the Cheesecakes." Those who have passed before us come back to us in a myriad of ways, we just need to be open to their messages. Whether it's in dreams, in a wild animal showing up at our door, or through a message from a stranger, those who are gone want us to know that they are OK. And, in the case of Jeanne's Father, that cheesecake can serve many purposes! To check out Dr. Jeanne and her work, click here! DON'T FORGET TO RATE AND REVIEW FRIENDS! DON'T FORGET TO SHARE THE POD! Your bit of beauty this week is the most delicious and scrumptious cheesecake recipes I could find! All in honor of Jeanne's Father of course! And to fill our empty little bellies! xo

HIIIIIIIIIII! And Happy Eclipse Season everyone! We are right in the thick of it these weeks and life is changing and shifting all around each and every one of us! This week I am introducing you to Brian Hite, a man who has quite a tale to tell. From high school lighting technician to Hollywood stuntman, Brian said "Yes!" to each and every invitation that came his way. I love his story of how he followed the breadcrumbs to the life that he is living today-reminds me of the story of "The Alchemist" and the boy who follows the signs the World is giving to him, or the invitations the World extends to him, and how accepting those invitations makes all the difference. Living in concert with the World, with Creation, opens us up to so much more magic, it quite literally, can change everything! To read up on Brian and his work in the world, click here! REMEMBER TO SHARE THIS PODCAST WITH FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS...it will change their lives FOREVER!! Your bit of beauty is this: LIVE FOOTAGE from the National Mall of the Cherry Blossoms and their beautiful unfurling these next few weeks. Check it out when you have the time!

Laura knew from a young age that she was different- or...well, that she was able to sense things about the world that most other people were unable to. How else to explain the knowledge she had about her Father's business trips, or how her Grandfather died? People create whole industries to facilitate the kind of intuitive gifts that Laura had naturally, but really, when you're a kid, sometimes it's not really cool to be different, it's not really ideal to know things that others MIGHT NOT want you to know. So Laura did what many kids with these gifts do-she shut them down. Until, much later, when she didn't. And that's the story Laura tells in this episode-and it's part history, it's part coming to terms with one's nature and it's part accepting the role one might play in this Universe. But as you'll see, Laura does it all with grace and courage, and that, my friends, has made all the difference! To do a deeper dive on Laura and who this brilliant human is, click here! And to check out the book she has co-written with Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D, Depth Hypnosis: A Path to Healing, Power, and Transformation, click here! As always, I am grateful to each and every one of you who listens...you make my world shinier and so much more fun! Your bit of beauty this week is this: a trailer from one of my favorite films EVER, Baraka, a movie that is simply a reminder of how glorious this world truly is. This is just the trailer, but I urge you to watch the whole thing...it just might change your life!

Welcome back all, to another fab episode of the pod! And this week, not only will my guest, Bjorn, regale you with story after story of miracles and magic (I mean, he really does have a bagful of magical stories in his life!) he will tell you ALL ABOUT how he got rid of those pesky mosquitoes, once and for all! It's a charming tale, marrying the magical and the mundane, and it just reminded me that enchantment is EVERYWHERE - when you're washing the dishes, going on a walk and also, when you're talking to dragons! (Hint: it's all a matter of perspective!) To check out Bjorn's podcast, The Blue Dragon Healing Podcast, click here! His website: click here! Once again I am reminded of the enchanting reality that there are SO MANY MAGICAL people in this world, and each and every one of them has something beautiful to share with the rest of us! Your bit of beauty is this: a delicious sound bath. Lie back, close your eyes, and soak in the healing! See you next week and I can't resist this...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! xo

Hello friends! This week I introduce you to Susan Hensley, who, at the end of our conversation, was surprised to understand that a couple of the stories she shared this week had to do with storms, or tempests...those wild weather events that sometimes shake us to our core! Susan shares a really potent story of what happened on a family vacation in Hawaii, and how she emerged on the other side of that vacation irrevocably changed. It's the perfect time to share this quotation from THE TEMPEST by Shakespeare, “We are such stuff as dreams are made on, and our little life is rounded with a sleep.” We are made of dreams, little ones, and understanding that, I think, gives us that much more power over our lives. Understanding that we are made of stardust, dreams, wishes and hopes, and that all of this combines to create each of us in such singular ways...well, the sky's the limit for how we can shape and create beauty in this reality. Never forget that! To check out Susan's website click here. And to buy her book, click here. I don't know about you but I LOVE a good storm...and photos of storms? THE BEST! So here is a link to 12 astonishing images of clouds, storms, lightning, waterspouts, you name it, to float your boat!

Greetings my friends-it's another weekend and that means another episode of the pod is dropping! This one is a doozy and has echoes of JAWS, but JAWS if friendship, trust and spearfishing were all happening at once (oh, and if the person being attacked survives, of course!) And he does, because Tim Thomas wouldn't be able to be a guest and tell his story unless he lived to tell the tale! Tim is an extraordinary human being-and you'll hear all about it when you listen to the pod-he is an avid supporter of Vets and does much work with multiple organizations to ensure that those who have been in the services are not left behind, are not forgotten and not given short shrift. He endeavors to ensure they have the care and emotional support they need-you can read all about Tim's work here, on his website! He is a big believer in breath work saying, "breathwork improved the quality of his sleep, especially when he was serving with the Special Forces in Afghanistan." As well, you can watch a video of Tim jumping into a giant barrel of water and ice-the cold dipping we talk about in the episode. Take a gander at what Tim is doing and meet another wonderful human making this world a better place! PLEASE DO REMEMBER TO RATE AND REVIEW THE PODCAST-every rating helps others find us! And don't forget the YouTube channel-see my guests IRL and bask in their shiny faces! Your bit of beauty this week is this collection of GORGEOUS sea/ocean photographs-playful and whimsical, devastating and a call to action. WE HAVE TO SAVE OUR OCEANS! Every time I go to the Oregon Coast I pick up garbage on the beach-I figure if I don't then who will? It's a simple act that if 1000's did the same, our beaches and lands would be so much cleaner. This simple act, bending over and picking up one piece of trash, can change everything! xo

I feel like I should just get out of the way and let my guest, Scott Grace, write this introduction, because honestly? I could barely keep up with him during our conversation! He was so funny, so irreverent, and so ridiculously talented...I was left in the dust! As Scott's bio says, he's a bit of a cross of John Denver, Robin Williams and Dr. Seuss all rolled into one! And channeling all that greatness has been part of Scott's work in this world, even from a young age. This great work of his is in service to inspire us, to urge us to greater and greater things...and to remind us, that humor, and intelligence and kindness, will get us far. To check out Scott's website click here. To check out his YouTube click here! Thanks to all of you who listen, and REMEMBER, ratings and reviews are where it's at! Please do consider doing either, or both!! I will love you forever! Your bit of beauty is this video from the 70's, the original "The Lorax." I loved this film...and this is just a bit of it...because the topic it talked about, the destruction of our natural world, hit hard as a kid. I was changed forever, and perhaps, it still shapes me. Yes, Dr. Seuss is a controversial figure...and has a darker reputation than when I was a kid, but this movie is relevant still, and urges us all to be better stewards of our environment. And that, we should be grateful to Dr. Seuss for, because honestly? We need the reminder!

Hello friends-while I cough and wheeze my way through the beginning of the year, I am bound and determined to keep on going...and bringing SHINY AND LOVELY human beings for you to meet-right to your doorstep! (I have never loved Halls Cough Drops more in my life!) Meet Crystal Cassidy-a charming and effervescent creator who lives on the West Coast! She's one of many unique people on this planet who is able to marry her left and right sides of her brain, seamlessly. As a scientist AND a spiritual seeker, Crystal has had multiple extra-normal experiences...and she talks about them in this conversation. (when are you all going to listen to me about how Meditation is good for what ails you? Oh, yeah, when I actually take my own advice!) To read up more about Crystal and her way of being in the world and her App, SOULPOD, click here! Please, if you like what you hear, consider leaving a review or a rating...it helps ever so much! Your bit of beauty this week is this: a HuffPo article about the "Best Winter Scenes" in paint. Right about now most of us are getting tired of winter...but these gorgeous images just might remind you of how beautiful it really is (sometimes).

Hi all! Better a day late, than a dollar short my Mother always said! And yes, while this episode is dropping a day late, I appreciate and just know that you've already forgiven me! This time it's Daniel Tausan who is taking the guest spot and our discussion is lively, funny and by turns, scientific! Daniel shares a beautiful miracle moment-which I won't spoil by telling about it here-but it's a sweet and simple reminder that the glory of this universe is all around us, all the time. (we just need eyes to see it!) And Daniel is sharing his hard-won knowledge about DNA and our own unique selves (and the unique ways we can heal ourselves) out in the world with his company, Timeline Sciences, which you can read all about here! Take the time to check him out-and how he is redefining the path to wellness. PLEASE DO REMEMBER TO RATE AND REVIEW IF YOU LIKE WHAT YOU HEAR! Your bit of beauty is this video about Cymatics-Daniel and I discuss it in the episode-and it's absolutely gorgeous that you can see the "shape" of sound through this provocative and exciting way of getting a glimpse behind the curtain of the Universe! Yes, it's another TedTalk but when did they ever steer you wrong? And when did another glimpse of beauty ever hurt you?

Aaron and I have a grand old time this episode and once again, I have another super intriguing human being to introduce you to! Aaron began life unschooled-you could say he was the ultimate free-range kid...but once his parents decided to send him to a regular school, everything changed. Suddenly Aaron found himself in an environment that wasn't really friendly to those who are different. And let's be honest, school is hard enough without the bullies to deal with...but Aaron found his way and became a biologist. And then? Well, that was just the beginning...because Aaron's path was ready to unfold for him! And over time, Aaron has discovered more about just who he is, his potential and what sorts of plans the ancestors and universe have for him. It's an interesting tale, told by a master storyteller! To connect with Aaron and discover more about him and his work, click here! PLEASE REMEMBER TO SHARE THE POD-SO SOMEONE ELSE'S DAY CAN BE A BIT SHINIER! Your bit of beauty is this...a video made in 1974 about Coastal Salish Art by Master Tlingit Carver Nathan Jackson. Watch it and discover just how much beauty we humans are capable of. xoxo

Friends, my guest is this week is nothing short of extraordinary! I, lucky fool that I am, am blessed enough to live in the same town as this human, who is sharing his love of astrology as well as his excellent self here in Santa Fe! Sam is a man about town, a polymath who sets his mind to anything, and quickly masters it, as well as someone who is compassionate, wise and funny! (I have to mention his sense of humor because it is a superpower, everyone!) As well, Sam is out there in the world introducing this age old wisdom to anyone willing to learn. He's out there with optimism, knowing that the more one studies, the more one knows, the more a force to be reckoned with, they'll become. To read up more about Sam and the work that he is doing (and to book a session with him!) click here! Please remember everyone, RATE AND REVIEW! Those ratings and reviews help others find us! They're ever so important to getting this pod out into the world! Your bit of beauty is this...this somewhat old but very delightful film about Astrology from the History Channel. I, for one, am a fan of older films like this...before everything got all FANCY. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, if you choose to watch! Again, curiosity is a superpower, so if you don't choose to watch, go learn something else that strikes your fancy, instead!!

*For those of you who listen to the full sized episode this week-there's a sweet little EASTER EGG at the end for your listening pleasure! Welcome back everyone, to the very next episode of the podcast! This week's guest is Jennifer Johnson, ER nurse, author, and all around hilarious human being! (I think it's important to realize that over the next 4 years we are all going to need our senses of humor, as well as surround ourselves with people who are FUNNY!) Jenn not only makes me laugh this episode, but she shares two very sensitive and powerful stories of loss-and the mysteries and magic that surrounded those losses. They are difficult stories to listen to this week, so take care of yourselves as you press "Play." Jenn has lots going on in her world being an author and all, so if you want to get a bit more information about this splendid human, click here! Please remember, as the world shifts and changes this week, that each and every one of us are surrounded by so many who want us to be happy, who want us to thrive, who have our backs and will go to the mat for us. It takes a village everyone, and I know that we will all get through what is coming, together! Your bit of beauty is this: a TEDx Youth Event, where the speaker tells a story of how one person can change the world, no matter how old they are. It should give us all hope-we all have more power than we imagine!

Yes, it's another episode babes, and dropping this weekend, so hot on the heels of the last-it's amazing what you can do when you're confined to bed with the stomach flu! This time I'm introducing you to Ben Oofana, who began life as a young man drawn to indigenous cultures and wanting to learn as much as possible from the medicine men who practiced in those days. Ben has stories that are difficult to believe, but the very fact that they happened means that yes, all, there is so much about healing the body and mind that we haven't tapped yet...and I, for one, find that ridiculously exciting! What a frontier to investigate!! To read up about Ben and the work that he is doing in the world...click here! I am so grateful to Ben for sharing all of his stories and being so generous with his time! DON'T FORGET TO RATE AND REVIEW MY FRIENDS! Also, your bit of beauty...a link to the THE LIBRARY OF CONGRESS in Washington D.C., an old film of the Hopi Snake Dance! Although the footage is grainy, you can see that many of the participants are holding snakes...a truly powerful event, and one filled with meaning and beauty!

Hello all- I've been suffering with a stomach flu and so was unable to release an episode this last weekend...but will make up for it with some seriously shiny and amazing people this week! Hurrah! For my guest this episode it's all about forgiveness, intuition and living a life that is full of authenticity and laughter! Not only does Katharine have a wicked sense of humor, but she's a true champion-of forgiveness. We do a really deep dive on what it means to forgive, the energy forgiveness alchemizes and how forgiveness of others is really a great gift to ourselves. Life is too short my dears, to hold grudges (even if some of those grudges are delicious) and really, forgiving others is kinda the best sort of medicine in the world! To read a little bit more about Katharine and what a groovy human she is, click here! PLEASE CONSIDER LEAVING A REVIEW OR RATING...FOR THE LOVE OF PETE!! ;-) Your bit of beauty this week is this: an article by Johns Hopkins all about what benefits YOU WILL REAP if you forgive someone. Read it, I dare you!!

PSYCHOPOMP: pluralpsychopomps or psychopompoi : a conductor of souls to the afterworld. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! I hope you had a lovely and restful end to your year-and are looking forward to what is coming for you in 2025! I wanted to start the year off with a sweet episode with my friend Elijah B. Wilder-who is, among many things, author, philosopher, funny guy, pun-master and self-effacing ramen lover! He also, at a young age, was gifted an event that helped him to realize that psychopomps are real, even goldfish can be angels, and that all life around us is sacred! His story is simple, profound and magically beautiful! We talk Japan (in the Easter Egg at the end), we talk the beauty of Japanese shadows...and we talk Death, with a capital "D"...not to be confused with the other "D" word, Dill Pickle! I wanted to start the year with a simple and sweet tale, a gentle reminder that all is sacred and all is sentient...and mostly, that every living thing has a soul...and can be a psychopomp when needed. Here's to a rowdy and raucous 2025, and here's to all of our dreams coming true! To read a bit more about Elijah and his book, HEREAFTER LIES: RIP, click here! Your bit of beauty is this, a better explanation that I ever could create-a little bit more about the Japanese relationship with shadows. I, for one, feel like that is where everything is born, in the shadows...germinating, and just waiting, for the perfect time to emerge! xo

I, for one, feel like that is where everything is born, in the shadows...germinating, and just waiting, for the perfect time to emerge! xo
Erica has some stories to tell this week-and not all of them are about everyone's favorite food, that delicious, gooey, satisfyingly salty and doughy dinner known as pizza! A descendent of Italian immigrants, Erica carries the strength and determination of her forbears. She tells stories of family, community and the power of never giving up-resulting in beauty, belonging and how her family changed the fabric of a town simply by showing up and being themselves! Sometimes food does bring people together! And I'll let Erica tell you the story of the Mafia-she will do it much better than I could ever do!
