You ever catch yourself saying things like… “You suck.” “You're never gonna get this right.” “Why even try?” Now let me ask you this… Would you ever say that to your wife? To your kids? To someone you lead? No shot. So why are you saying it to yourself? Let's call it what it is… That voice in your head? It's not keeping it real. It's you being hostile with yourself. And it's killing your momentum. The worst part? You've gotten so used to that self-sabotage, that you don't even recognize it anymore. But your confidence does. Your clarity does. Your consistency definitely does. Science confirms it. Scripture backs it. And your results? They're revealing it. That's why this week's 5-Minute Drill on the Coming Up Clutch with J.R.™ show is one you can't afford to miss. I share a quick-hitting, yet simple strategy that will help you… Spot the language that's killing your momentum Replace it with truth rooted in Scripture Build a habit that rewires your mind and reclaims your edge So, if you're done being your own worst enemy, and you're ready to speak to yourself like the man God designed you to be — then lock into this episode. Let's get it! In this episode, you will hear: Why your internal dialogue may be the #1 reason you're stuck, scattered, or self-sabotaging. The story of a Major League Baseball player's self-talk meltdown — and the lesson I taught my sons on the spot. What science says about the damaging effects of negative self-talk on your brain, focus, and performance. How Proverbs 11:9 and the story of Gideon reveal the spiritual and practical power of your words. The biggest myths high-performers believe about “being hard on themselves” — and the trap it creates. A 4-step strategy to replace self-destructive language with truth that builds daily momentum. Key Quotes “Whether you realize it or not, your words are either driving your momentum or destroying it.” - J.R. “Your negative self-talk doesn't just sting you. It kills your clarity. It kills your focus. It kills your flow.” - J.R. “Don't confuse beating yourself down with keeping it real.” - J.R. “Your words matter. Not just the ones you speak out loud — But the ones on loop in your mind.” - J.R. “Momentum is connected to your mouth. So speak life. Speak truth. And let that shift fuel your next win.” - J.R. There's a difference between making money and building wealth. Between achieving success and sustaining it. David Meltzer learned this the hard way when he lost over $100 million and had to tell his mother he'd lost her house too. In this powerful conversation with Genea, David shares the three distinct phases of his entrepreneurial journey and the internal shifts that changed everything. This isn't your typical rags-to-riches story. It's about the hidden costs of building from scarcity, the emptiness that can come with external success, and the moment David discovered that his biggest problem wasn't his circumstances, it was his relationship with them. The insights David shares go straight to the heart of what it means to build something sustainable:

Drex explores two critical cybersecurity threats facing healthcare: the rise of "vibe coding" where non-programmers use AI like Anthropic's Claude to create functional code, creating potential operational risks from undocumented projects, and increasingly sophisticated AI deepfakes from tools like Google's VO3 that cybercriminals are weaponizing for phishing attacks. He emphasizes the need for healthcare leaders to inventory AI coding projects and prepare defenses against deepfake-based social engineering, while previewing his upcoming discussion on North Korean cyber operations targeting Western companies.Remember, Stay a Little Paranoid X: This Week Health LinkedIn: This Week Health Donate: Alex's Lemonade Stand: Foundation for Childhood Cancer

You ever feel like God's been stripping things away…and you're left wondering what you did wrong? The contract falls through. A friend ghosts you. That “safe” comfort zone? Gone. Your first thought? “What the heck did I do?” But here's the hard truth I had to face: God doesn't prune because you're failing. He prunes because he wants you to be fruitful. That's why in this week's 5-Minute Drill on the Coming Up Clutch with J.R.™ show, I'm breaking down a counterintuitive (but transformational) strategy to help you stop interpreting every loss as a punishment, reframe the setback you're in as a setup for something greater, and let go without feeling like you're falling apart. Asking someone else to hold you accountable is a good thing, right? Well, not exactly. If you're anything like me, you've heard some variation of "Accountability is what separates the elite from the average.” So, it seems natural that if you want to win and achieve your goal, you'd approach someone to hold you accountable. I did this for years. But here's the hard truth: If you're relying on others to hold you accountable, you're missing the point of accountability. For years, I believed that accountability meant someone else tracking my progress…reminding me to do the work…pushing me when I slowed down. But after seeing this attempt at accountability fail over and over, I realized the biggest mistake I was making - I was putting the responsibility of accountability on someone else instead of creating a system for it myself. But the good news? I found the fix. In this week's episode of the Coming Up Clutch with J.R.™ show, I break down the one mistake that's holding you back from true accountability and the success you deserve — and then give you a simple strategy to get it right. No more waiting for someone else to chase you down. Elite performers don't ask for accountability — they create an environment where accountability thrives. So, if you're tired of relying on others to keep you in check and you're ready to take control of your success, then lock into this episode. Let's get it! In this episode, you'll hear: Why accountability starts with you How to build a system of accountability that works for you The key steps to creating an environment where you're automatically held to a higher standard How to make sure your performance stays elite—no reminders needed.
