In this episode I interview one of my dearest friends, 'sister' and Kenya Retreat co-facilitator, Michelle Richmond. Listen to the moment that Michelle came undone after allowing herself to be in her absolute vulnerability. Then observe what played out afterwards as the white noise dropped away and she was truly able to listen to the intuitive pull. So many times in our lives there are intuitive pieces that don't necessarily need 'healing' (although they can), but are asking to be seen. Listen to the resonance of where Michelle landed following her 'on her knees' moment. This is one of those episodes that is like a workshop in itself. As such, I KNOW that you will receive much from this episode should you give it your full presence. Enjoy this conversation with my soul sister Michelle Richmond and I as we prepare to co-facilitate our fifth Retreat together, four of them in Kenya. This is a conversation about freedom - the freedom to acknowledge the thresholds you've placed on ourselves and the blindspots that keep these thresholds in place the freedom to be in the fullness of your humanity; your humanity being a portal to infinite possibility that exists beyond the world you've known the freedom to experience the magic of being in the divine eco-system of soul family the freedom to say yes to your soul and not your schedule the freedom to ask yourself what are you really scared or even terrified of? the freedom to walk on fertile ground and allow 2023 to be your breakthrough year the freedom to say yes to the calling of this lifetime, bucket list experience in Kenya in May and the freedom to create breathtaking ripples by giving to yourself from a place of radical generosity Whether you're pulled to join us in Kenya or not, the tone of this episode is one that will have you ask questions of yourself, rather than stay in the status quo of your unconscious thinking, behaviour and experience of life. If Kenya in May is calling you, the next step is simple. Message or email me and we can explore either with myself or in a three way conversation with Michelle and I. It's said that the ultimate act of taking personal responsibility is to see with the Mind of God. For without true perception we continue to live in a world akin to a hall of mirrors, mirroring illusions and falsities in and all around us. A we see with the Mind of God, we see the beauty of our humanity. This is where leadership is borne and deepened into. This is where we hear the calling into what truly matters so much that all else that we were committed to in our smallness becomes just one grain of sand in all of the entire ocean. I'm currently in Kenya facilitating another retreat on the back of facilitating in Croatia just over a month ago. Delicious! I received this prayer yesterday morning and recorded this prayer into a meditation for peeps on retreat here and also for you. Enjoy this meditation which is based on the theme of the retreat - Deep Impact and the retreat's premise that just puts a big smile on my face each time I think about it - 'pigs can fly', because it is that level of intentionality that my darling friend and peer Michelle Richmond and I are holding here for the next 13 days together as we travel across the land in Kenya. :: If you'd like to receive more goodness in your inbox via a new weekly newsletter where I'll share more insights, stories about my own personal transformation journey, client wins, meditations and more, please subscribe here https://giselegambi.com.au/insights/ :: If you feel it's the right time to ask for help by coaching with me, please complete a Coaching Application form where you'll get to know more about the coaching options and I'll get to know you better https://giselegambi.com.au/coach-with-gisele/ Once I receive your application I'll contact you to book in a time to connect. Listen to the incredible demonstration that Libby Stewart is of someone who has moved from despair to leadership where in her words ‘I really love to give a fuck'. This is a very, very tender and powerful conversation speaking to the reality of trauma that once rendered Libby incapacitated to ask for help to now living the consequences of loving and accepting herself fully including the ripples of this into her leadership. In this episode Libby speaks to what really matters to her and takes a stand for the importance of having extraordinary conversations versus half arsed attempts at responding to the reality our mental health crisis across the board - men, women and non gender specific. I know this episode is a bloody powerful catalyst as Libby shows us that we can turn our lives around through the decision, will and conviction of taking 100% personal responsibility for a life worth living. Are you aware of the quality of your thinking, decisions and actions? From which orientation are they being fuelled by - your small thinking mind that thinks it's doing good or the vastness of the mind that has a creative power way beyond your identity? As I'm about to head off to facilitate another retreat in Kenya on the back of facilitating a retreat in Croatia a few weeks ago, this piece of writing came when I decided to stop and just be with myself. I then decided to turn the writing into an episode for this podcast. I hope that this prayer/meditation fuels much creative power and creates many ripples of impact. I'm just back from facilitating a Retreat in Croatia and was pulled yesterday to summarise for myself what happened for each person there. I was then pulled to look at the common denominators across each person's process and decided to turn this into an episode for a few reasons - to allow those who went to Croatia to further deepen their appreciation for what happened, to amplify momentum and to allow the divine architecture of the retreat to continue to unfold more goodness to allow those who we're currently coaching who didn't go to Croatia to also be impacted by the generosity of this retreat (some of which has already happened) to 'continue to start' process for those going to the next retreat in Kenya 1 - 13 November 2022 to show people the paradigm shifting reality that's possible by attending an overseas Retreat My intention as always is that this episode will feed all listeners of this podcast. Don is joined by author MIchelle Richmond, the 2018 Truman Capote Prize winner, to talk about her new thrilled The Marriage Pact.
In this episode I interview Integrative Doctor, Dr Amy Gajjar who specialises in Thyroid, Gut health and Autoimmunity. I've been blessed to know Dr Amy for the last few years having been diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease which has now been largely reversed through Dr Amy's care. Dr Amy's story is a wonderful example of someone who surrendered to following her own intuitive pull as she let go of her former 10 minute model that she practised in the UK and travelled to New Zealand. It was during her travels that Dr Amy's world opened up to complimentary medicine as she saw the importance of looking after the whole person's mind, body and spirit rather than just treating the symptom. Dr Amy says that what's out of balance can be brought back into balance. She offers an invitation to ask ourselves if we are being truthful to ourselves and the world and the perspective that the healing journey can be a catalyst to live life in greater alignment and divine flow. I really enjoyed interviewing Dr Amy. Dr Amy has just released her first book Slow Butterfly: How Healing Your Thyroid Transforms Everything. Get an inside look into the power of Retreats as you hear my co-facilitator extraordinaire's process on retreat in the participant chair with our coach and his group. You'll see through Michelle Richmond's experience how retreats are an extraordinary accelerator of the impact that we're here to make and how it's the magic that we love to gift through our safari retreats in Kenya, the following one occurring 1 - 13 November 2022. In this episode I have a conversation with my dear friend and peer Michelle Richmond who lives in Kenya and who I've co-facilitated two retreats with on Safari and will again in November. Whether you're called to join us in Kenya or are activated through the journey that we take you on in this episode, we share the big magic that happens when you're on the land that is Kenya. As the outer landscape is so different to our normal day to day doings, similarly our hearts and minds blow wide open and become a new internal landscape from which we hear what we are called to seed, birth, accelerate or transition. As we surrender guilt, shame, control, judgment and identities that belong to our past, what is new now has space to be seen. This Retreat and episode particularly speaks to those who are already powerful, reminding you of the importance to give yourself the permission to be vulnerable again, to be courageous again, to give presence to the ache again such that the impact that you're here to make has an even greater depth and thus a greater breadth than what you have facilitated to date. This episode is in memory of Rob Garsden who passed away earlier this year. Rob came on Retreat to Kenya in 2016 and as he told his friends and family, it was a retreat that changed his life. If you're called to join us in Kenya 1 - 13 November 2022, please send me an email and let's explore. Email me at gisele@giselegambi.com.au. Michelle Richmond is a leader in her field, she's been described as a gamechanger, a spiritual master and even the Jedi of coaches. She has had 20 years experience in clinical practice and in mind body medicine, and now lives between Sydney and Kenya where she runs transformational safaris as well as opened her first retreat Tarangau. During this powerful conversation we discuss: Her journey through healing breast cancer naturally and how intention was her anchor.Understanding and being her own researcher when it came to her healing protocol. How she learnt to listen to her own intelligence to know what she needed, as well as learning to ask for the help. The necessity of developing self-love for healing. How studying for her own awareness, lead her to moving into her new career and starting an integrative medicine centre. Why she says yes to life, and then figures out how to do it, and how this has lead to getting into the flow. Her journey from living in Sydney to Kenya and how she ended up supporting homeless women. How she uses the same processes with kids, the homeless, to a high flying CEO, because we all have the same belief systems, that we are all essentially the same at heart.Reconciling to what she could do to help within the poverty in Africa, and how she contributes by educating people to learn and get better jobs. The experience of her safaris, and the impact the people that attend them make on the world after the experience. The awe of nature and how it changes people and their energy. Her retreat Tarangau and what inspired her to build it. What people can experience on her retreats and safaris. Her key tool to keep coming back to your heart and asking yourself “What Is The Truth?”.To contact Michelle:Website: https://michellerichmond.com.au/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/michellerichmond/?hl=enLinkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/michellemrichmond/?originalSubdomain=auTo connect with Sacha: Instagram: @sachastewart_Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/sacha-stewart-04319129/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyeuliXckUmcTmfzgFrGn9wInsight Timer https://insighttimer.com/sachastewartWebsite: http://www.sachastewart.netEmail: hello@sachastewart.net

Jennie True is an absolute gem! I loved this conversation! The great exhale. If you don't mind a little profanity and shocking realism.. this episode is going to be the fresh air you've needed, this year.We cover from being inclusive to the shocking realities of parenthood and doing “your thing” with littles around.Don't miss this!_________About Jennie:Jenny Pritchett (alias Jenny True) is a nationally recognized columnist for Romper, where she publishes advice on pregnancy and parenting, as well as on her popular blog Jenny True: An Excruciatingly Personal Mommy Blog, which was a finalist for the Mom 2.0 2019 People's Choice Awards. Her new book: You Look Tired: An Excruciatingly Honest Guide to New Parenthood is in the tradition of Ali Wong and Amy Schumer, and is a whip-smart, spit-out-your-coffee funny guide for new parents. Plenty of "new parent" guides cover the basics of breastfeeding, bonding, sleep, and "getting back in shape." But nowhere is there a guide that tells you about the medieval act of pumping, why one shouldn't turn to online pregnancy/parenting forums, and the answer to the question: WTF is this squeeze bottle thing from the hospital?YOU LOOK TIRED is a totally honest, tell-it-like-it-is guide for new moms and parents who don't want any more advice. Writing as Jenny True on her "Excruciatingly Personal Mommy Blog" and in the "Dear Jenny" column on Romper, Jenny has been called the "postpartum feelings doula," as she doles out her unique mix of humor, rage, and encouragement (with a smidge of practical advice), including:• Birth Hurts: Prenatal yoga is a waste of time.• Jabba the Hutt Was Just Postpartum: It explains so much.• and more.ADDITIONAL ADVANCE PRAISE:"In You Look Tired, Jenny Pritchett dishes out hilarious, in-your-face advice to overwhelmed moms and moms-to-be. If you don't have a trust fund, a live-in nanny, or the organizational skills to breastfeed elegantly while getting a pedicure, you need this book. In the voice of her popular alter ego Jenny True, Pritchett tells it like it really is, not the way it would be if you were floating through parenthood on a cloud of maternal fairy dust. There is no maternal fairly dust, people! Fortunately, there is Jenny True."—Michelle Richmond, New York Times bestselling author of five novels and two award winning story collections, mother of one, and Jenny True fan"A must-have for moms-to-be."—Bunmi Laditan, author of The Honest Toddler: A Child's Guide to Parenting"What a relief this book is."—Jancee Dunn, author of How Not to Hate Your Husband after KidsJennie Linkshttps://www.jennytrue.comhttps://m.facebook.com/jennytrueblog/www.instagram.com/Jennie_true_author_momhttps://vimeo.com/user101177627Buy the book:https://www.jennytrue.com/the-book_________ANNOUNCEMENTS:1. When blogger Jenny True wrote a post called F%^ Your Baby Advice, she never expected it would go viral. Soon the offers came in—including an advice columnist post and, then, a book deal. Now, with You Look Tired: An Excruciatingly Honest Guide to New Parenthood coming out May 4, she's a powerful new voice of humor, support, and parenting insights. We discuss how she wrote her book proposal, balancing real advice with really funny examples, and becoming a responsible voice in the parental community. Order a copy of You Look Tired: An Excruciatingly Honest Guide to New Parenthood here: https://www.runningpress.com/titles/jenny-true/you-look-tired/9780762473472/ Jenny is a longtime writer and editor and nationally recognized columnist for Romper. Her work has been anthologized and selected for publication by Steve Almond and Michelle Richmond, and she has been the recipient of fellowships from the Ragdale Foundation and the Tomales Bay Writing by Writers Workshop, a grant from San Francisco State University, and a scholarship from the Squaw Valley Community of Writers. Her story "Thieves" was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Jenny has a bachelor's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism and an M.F.A. in creative writing from San Francisco State University. She has taught creative writing at the Bay Area's Writing Salon since 2009 and at San Francisco State University and the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In a former life she was a fact-checker for Sunset and Dwell and an intern for Mother Jones and Ms. As Jenny True, the voice of her blog and the “Dear Jenny” column, she has been recognized on the sidewalk by a mom driving by in a car, and a mom on a plane.

Editor-at-Large, CNET's Technically Literate Interview starts at 19:40 and ends at 43:30 We have a very different generation coming up who may relate to literature in a different way, because we have completely digital generations coming up. So I think those of us who present stories to the world have to be open to different ways to present them. And when we have a way to do it like we do in Technically Literate, that is an on-line way to do it, I think we always have to be thinking about pushing the boundary.
