Yesterday I shared on social media that over the next 30 days, I'll be sharing stories of the people I've had the deep honour of walking beside. This is where this pull began. On Monday I parked my car at the gym on my way to Spin class.  As I walked, I was reflecting on the fact that often we risk it all (our identity and safety) in the process of our becoming.  It hit me emotionally and my eyes went teary.  I noticed this. Then later that day as I was writing my notes to self, that feeling came back and I began writing, person after person in the third person, starting with “There is nothing more I love than walking with people who”.  At the fourteenth person, the vision of this 30 days of honouring came and I said yes. Trigger Warning - Facing terminal illness with love, heart and so much generosity,  I not only have the great privilege of supporting Jannine through coaching, but she decided to speak with me here for the second time on this podcast to share her deeply personal decision to explore voluntary assisted dying (VAD).     Jannine is in the late stages of cancer and on this episode shares her personal journey and reasons for advocating for VAD. On my final day in Bali I reflect on my transformative experience in Bali which has inspired a deeper sense of leadership and daring to take more leaps!   I also share a guided meditation from the 9 week meditation program in 2023 that really has been the theme of my time in Bali - leading from my Sacred Power!   This meditation encourages you to connect with your inner power, separate from human force and control, and rooted in unconditional love and divine presence.   And don't forget these offers that I will not be making again!

What a beautiful meditation and writing Notes to Self experience I had this morning from my bed in Bingin, Bali. I continue exploring the transformation model and the interconnected elements of fear, fire and faith in self-leadership.  In this episode we look at the essential element of faith to bring freedom and complete resolution to what has been un-breakthrough-able.   I share some personal examples where faith pulled me through out of crisis into freedom and purpose, that then went onto changing my life (words not used lightly).   Use this episode and the previous two to reflect on your life and what may have been absent thus creating repetitive cycles of unhappiness.    It's a simple yet profound model that you can hold in your mind's eye as you go about life.   May this episode have you see where you've been absent of faith and may it be activated!

My conversation with Malcolm Quinn is such divine timing with my obsession about bringing resolution and freedom to what's unresolved. Malcolm talks about the bear in the cave that had been sleeping; unresolved traumas that came to a head with his wife Leah's recurrence of breast cancer. This is a candid conversation about Malcolm's struggles with his mental health (trigger warning) and suffering that exists everywhere in our communities. We talk about the importance of vulnerability, faith and absolute resolve not only that resulted in Leah being cancer free, but in Malcolm finding the security, love and happiness that he'd previously been searching for in all the wrong places. This is a story of humility, the transformative power of perception and taking responsibility to have your house in order. As a result, Malcolm has unshackled himself from what he 'thought' was resolved and is living the best version of himself. What I love about this conversation is that true resolution has come in two very important subject matters that touch or indirectly touch all of us - cancer & mental health. When we go about life unresolved, we cage in aspects of our true nature and versions of reality that are available but unbeknown to us. This week I had the pleasure of interview Nick Mair on the podcast.  I met Nick on LinkedIn and was drawn to his authenticity and vulnerability and openness in sharing his mental health struggles. I often talk about the premise that purpose can be borne from the contrast of our suffering, and Nick is an example of that. Nick is now a mental health first aid trainer and on a mission to help people not only read the signs that someone could be thinking of taking their life, or be suffering anxiety, depression or psychosis, but to have the skills to be able to listen and de-escalate the situation....as he experienced when I spoke to Michael from Lifeline in his darkest hour. I didn't know about mental health first aid training until speaking to Nick and being a former Human Resources Director, I now feel urged to invite those who are in positions of influence to consider having your leaders to be mental health first aid qualified, or at best your entire organisation.   When I think about the ripples of having these skills in the work environment and at home, we can really make an enormous impact.
