Who doesn't love The Sound of Music movie? Lead star Christopher Plummer who plays Captain Von Trapp for one!  Christopher Plummer was interviewed and said the movie was "too saccharine" for his taste.  In later years,  I understand Plummer came to appreciate the movie and its place in his career.
