We’ve had plenty of former NBA players and current professional players who have already reached their hoops dreams. This episode is special because we get to talk to someone who is in the very beginning stages of working towards that goal of making it to a 4-year school and continuing on to play professional basketball. Angel Reyes is the first Mexican American to play basketball in New York and go on to play at the college level. You will hear more about him as his story is starting to grow through bigger media outlets. His connections to current and former NBA stars such as Kyrie Irving, Rod Strickland, and many others have been instrumental in his game, mindset, and just life in general. You will not hear of many other collegiate athletes that are as motivated, determined, educated, and confident about the game of basketball. Some players say they want it, but Angel shows it. Every single day.We were honored to hang out with Angel today. He is truly one of the most intelligent young athletes that we’ve had the chance to speak with and we know his basketball dream of playing both at a 4-year school and professionally will come true if he keeps this same focus. His faith plays a huge part in his success and helps him push for his dreams. If this is the first time you are hearing of Angel Reyes, it for damn sure won’t be the last.Thank you Angel Reyes!

Hoop fans will be excited for this one. We get to hang out with Maryland and ACC legend Len Elmore today! The stories and experiences shared about the game in this episode are amazing, but as you listen you will learn quickly that he’s also done a lot outside of basketball. In fact, we’re still trying to figure out was he hasn’t done.Elmore grew up in the New York City area and starred at Power Memorial Academy. He led his team to being ranked number one in the nation and helped get them to the city championship in 1970. Elmore went on to play at Maryland where he earned all ACC honors three times and is still the schools all-time leading rebounder. He was selected to the ACC 50th Anniversary men’s basketball team where he was recognized as one of the 50 greatest players in ACC history. Elmore continued to have a 10 year long professional career in both the ABA and NBA, and the stories he shared about the journey are inspiring. After his playing days he earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School and began a career as a law prosecutor. You may also recognize him as an important voice of March Madness as he served as a color commentator and broadcaster calling some historic and memorable games. We loved our time with Len. We learned so much about the game and more. His resume is an impressive one and we are so grateful for his time. He was an absolute joy to hangout with and we know you will enjoy this one just as much as we did.Thank you Len Elmore!
