Über die Biotop Oberland eG: Solidarische Landwirtschaft ist ineffizient? Biotop Oberland beweist seit 2015 das exakte Gegenteil – mit 450 Mitgliedern, am Fuße der Alpen im ländlichen, oberbayerischen Lenggries. Sie analysiert mit Leidenschaft noch so kleine Details, egal ob in der Anbauplanung, bei gärtnerischen Handgriffen oder im Verteilsystem – es lässt sich immer noch etwas effizienter, intelligenter und besser machen. Sie ist eine echte Optimiererin und orientiert sich am sogenannten “Lean Farming”! Die Genossenschaft hat ihre angestrebte Optimalgröße im Jahr 2020 erreicht und kann sich damit betriebswirtschaftlich, mit Blick auf Kosten und Erlöse, aber auch hinsichtlich der sozialen Stabilität und ihres transformativen Charakters sehr gut ausbalancieren. Vor Ort in Lenggries und Umgebung war der Aufbau der Biotop Oberland eG wahrscheinlich nur der erste Schritt hin zu einer größeren unabhängigen Regionalversorgungsstruktur. It's the end of another season! James is moving to Melbourne for six months for a sweet sweet job so in the meantime we're calling this an indefinite hiatus.
