Tracklist: 1. Fácil - It’what you’re conditioned for 2.Dj Overdose - Your total weirdness 3. The Hacker - Still 4. This week, Le Catalyste is super happy to receive Jude Greenaway aka “Scanone”, a London-based producer, DJ and AV artist who has been making, playing and releasing music for over 2 decades. In that time he has managed to develop a sound that skirts around the lunatic fringes of a myriad of underground genres, from bass-heavy electro and techno to glitched-up IDM and techy, brooding electronics. This mix is also the occasion to start a collaboration with the Montréal based Webzine "Mes Enceintes Font défaut", which is always looking deeper into sound, and show great taste about ambiant/IDM/experimental electronic music! https://www.mesenceintesfontdefaut.com/ https://bit.ly/2rHONsc

Neil Landstrumm Wants to Save Us From Fossil Fuels On this episode of Rave Curious, the techno stalwart considers how we can help the world beyond the club. Neil Landstrumm has been releasing confounding techno floor-fillers since the mid-90s, with releases on Tresor, Planet Mu, and his own Scandinavia imprint. The Scottish producer has no obvious connection to the Northern European peninsula, despite the name of his label, but was closely affiliated with the wonky techno scene of UK producers like Christian Vogel and Si Begg in the late 90s. It's a sound that recently reemerged in conversation, in part because of a confounding absence of producers like Landstrumm in the recent Tresor 25th anniversary celebrations. "What bothered us was that not one of us was included. It's not me, personally," he says of the "brouhaha," but sagely states that labels come and go, "like booking agents. Ha!" Not that Landstrumm is sitting at home sulking. He continues to release music at the same pace he has maintained throughout his two decade-long career. He's also preparing for an existence after techno. Next step? Solving the fossil fuel crisis facing humanity.

Duke Shin & Nate Manic LIVE @ Resonate v.6 Mar 19 2011 (1:32:53)The 6th edition of Resonate sold out the entirety of Metro/Smart Bar, bringing the burner vibe to Chicago's most venerable live music venue and subterranean club. For the 4th year in a row, myself and Nate Manic brought the unpredictable spectacle that is a Bad Advice Bear tag team set, but this time closing out the Freakeasy-enhanced Smart Bar. Colorful jellyfish installations hung from the ceiling around the dance floor. The lounge area was completely decked out as an interactive environment perfect for hardcore lounging (and dare I say cuddle puddles?). Framed, illuminated hologram pictures of Indian deities hung from the back wall behind the booth in front of the usual BZA-designed mural. And the crowd? Lordy, lordy, lordy. Following the blistering bass rumbling of Radiohiro and MC Zulu, from 3:30-5am, in front of a packed house, this is the result... Enjoy!DUKE01. For this show we got a visit from Tha Fruitbat, reporting from Sacramento with a collection of originals and remixes. It's fast, hard breakbeat and electro — glitched, chopped, and beaten like the redheaded bastard lovechild of Si Begg, Aaron Spectre, and Audiovoid, having slipped each other GHB in the secretly shared hopes of setting off just such an unholy union. Don't picture it.
